261  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: September 02, 2017, 11:06:01 AM
Yes true, the fact that there are many people feel the benefits after the presence of bitcoin. They can do things from faucet claims, trading, mining and follow the signature campaign.

I don't recognize signature campaigns as a job or a work but a task that we will be given a certain amount of bitcoins or other digital currencies in return. I just save most of my digital currencies in hope that it will be more expensive in the near future.
Well, you should already know that the main reason of having or doing Signature Campaigns is to advertise whatever their objective is, it will be like your advertising a product or a goal. And in truth behind the signature campaigns is they're raising their budget. I mean if you would read each thread about Signature Campaigns you would only realize the fact that they are advertising but once you go to their respective sites you would know their true goals about it. Its like taking advantage of the cryptos.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 31, 2017, 03:59:06 PM
Bitcoin can not end poverty, because not everyone has the Internet to earn bitcoins, and many can use bitcoin to gamble and again become poor because of their greed.
Well for starters we might need to have more than internet you really need education for this. Hmm well it depends really, when you already start to earn you will also learn how to value more of your money because of your necessities and all that stuffs.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 31, 2017, 01:53:45 PM
There are a lot of reason to hold bitcoin nowadays. It is because bitcoin is unpredictable most of the time bitcoin increasing its value. Some keeping bitcoin for personal purposes or maybe for future purposes.
I agree in most cases you wouldn't want all of your bitcoin to be converted in the price that you wanted now is it? Well in truth we really can't know how will be the amount of Bitcoin come to be. In exact speculations we really can't know the what will be the price of Bitcoin. All those thing that you've mentioned on your last sentence were all the same.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: August 31, 2017, 09:11:06 AM
Already proven to be so, Bitcoin it seems defeating the gold value that continues to moving/leads in an increasing and more superior than gold in general to everyone and can giving good hope for the future. Believing or not not, Bitcoin will be increasingly highlighted by more peoples to push individual finances.
Yes it is true that Bitcoin have already defeated Gold in different platforms and all of that. But you're giving too much praise and hopes for Bitcoin now. I mean  it doesn't always that good to assume things like Bitcoin will be over the time in no time even in dollars and other fiat currencies.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: August 31, 2017, 08:14:57 AM
i think that people think it is more anonymous than it is, and feel safer doing dubious activities, but its a shame the coin gets misused
Its not that anonymous than you think it is, and definitely not that safe as you imagine it would be especially if you're doing dubious activities.

I think no matter how you use it, you cannot consider it as being misused I mean it was made as it will be used freely by the users. The whole creation of it is a means of freedom it self.

270  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: August 21, 2017, 10:09:33 PM
Certainly, bitcoin is becoming a world wide currency, and will grow bigger in the future. Half of the places I go now, all except bitcoin.  Wink I guess that's a good thing for us investors. BTC
A global currency, yes. A major global currency, unfortunately not, and it seems a long way off happening too..
There is a long list of countries that are being screwed over with negative interest rates and massively devalued currencies, people in these countries would have done very well getting their money into bitcoin a few months ago, but as can be seen by the low price, they aren't really doing that.

I guess price volatility is still too high, or upwards price volatility too low for people to be tempted in on mass.
Well as far as I know mate, Bitcoin was made as a global currency since all people can use it, even if some countries have already banned it for some reason that it would greatly affect the livelihood of their people still everyone I mean anyone can still use it.

Even if the volatility of price is not that great we can still consider Bitcoin as a phenomenal coin. It is still great for investing, you'll catch some big fishes for sure.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 21, 2017, 09:59:24 PM
I think mining coins can be a "job".  If done intelligently, it can be quite profitable.  It's basically another type of tech job.
Minning is already a real job for some people. But some work with bitcoin. Not just minning. Trading And Doing can also be a Job. Let alone work for bounty I can say easy. It must take time to learn about bitcoin alone
Mining is a real job because to start mining we must need a lot of capital so that all operations can run well.
I personally do not have enough knowledge to start mining myself, maybe I can buy some equipment to mine but I do not know to run it all.
With all the things you've just said? Its not true, you see you can only call a job if you work under some kind of company that under a public or private sector (only some rules are revoked in this sector, but still both under the gpvernment), or you work directly in the government. As long as the government is involved it is considered as a job. Furthermore as long as you pay tax to whatever salary you received in a period of time is a job. Keep that in mind.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: August 21, 2017, 09:49:09 PM
That's why they choose bitcoin and misuse can't be avoided. Some people do not want to be tracked when transacting. For example buying goods / commodities online where they ask you to enter your confidential or credit card information that is too risky
Well not all countries have already accepted Bitcoin as a mean of payment so you will still need to convert it to fiat to whatever country you're in. That's true using credit cards is a bit risky, but having this fact above Bitcoin is risky as well.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: August 21, 2017, 09:39:01 PM
In my country is still very hard to use bitcoins as sound money. That is why my only alternative is keep holding my coins expecting future date when more stores can be willing to accept bitcoin as a valid payment option, because these days I have bitcoins, but I have no money.  Cry
If you have Bitcoin but do not have money, then why not just convert your coin to money I mean it would be the most logical action, true investment comes in true spending. Don't covert all of it just partial amounts of it, then those remaining coins hold it and keep on earning coins.
274  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: August 21, 2017, 09:08:32 PM
Not yet, gold still has a lot of devotee, I think bitcoin and gold is good to be the future of money. Sending gold is difficult so Bitcoin can be the representative of gold although there are a limitation of the amount of Bitcoin.
What is this some kind of occult to you. Ofcourse gold will always have people who're interested in it. I mean you if you would think about it, it is widely used in different sorts of things like for instance jewelries its a common material for it.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like on: August 21, 2017, 08:15:05 AM
Bitcoin is a strange name when it first came in the world. But now I can certainly say that bitcoin has proved what it is. Bitcoin is unstoppable. it just climbing and touching the future and breaking the record itself and keep doing like this.
Bitcoin is not unstoppable you see it has still its limitations and issues. In trading we still have the problems that it really have high transaction fees. Although it makes sense since Bitcoin's price will go up as well as its fees (long live the miners). As for it is now we still don't know how long Bitcoin will rule the cryptocurrencies I mean it is the leading coin right now. Well in the future maybe Bitcoin is no longer the leading coin, that might have most of the issues out of the way.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2017, 06:58:00 AM
Those who do not like Bitcoin, I think they do not really know Bitcoin. But i would say, let them about Bitcoin. And about the benefits of this.
What? They wouldn't hate it if they don't even know about it. I mean the reason why they hate is they don't understand it that well unlike us here in the community who've already experience the benefits of Bitcoin.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: August 21, 2017, 06:20:36 AM
I think it was intended to be a global currency, and it is now. Before bitcoins were introduced as far as I know there were no currency that you can use to buy anything anywhere. Today you can use bitcoin at some parts of the world . Unlike dollar, you have to exchange it to Peso in order to spend it in the Philippines. Bitcoin is still in progress, we just have to wait for it to grow to its ultimate form. It doesn't have to defeat dollar or gold, it just needs to exist.
Well as far as I know it already defeated gold in values atleast, so maybe the dollars would be next in the list. Again it will be just in values, because for now dollars also have so much advantage over Bitcoin.

But it is true that it was intended to be as a global currency, well that explains the decentralized approach of these coins (including altcoins).
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 21, 2017, 05:27:32 AM
Bitcoin is a very useful thing. It's a pity that only for him there is no work experience) and in general bitcoin of many people saves)
I don't understand what are you saying right now. I mean It surely is true that there'll be no work experience in this but what would be the point if you wouldn't really need that work experience because you already knew that you could earn more in this community than in your regular jobs.

It doesn't really save anyone instead it just open opportunities.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: August 20, 2017, 04:14:46 PM
Why use Bitcoin? Because it is easy to use and lots of investment land can be converted into money, and bitcoin also provides many values and benefits.
I agree that Bitcoin provides many values and benefits. But bitcoin is not that easy as you think  it is. You see it still has its issues and are not that good to use. We still need some more development if we really wanted this coin to be that great.
280  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 20, 2017, 01:42:11 PM
Bitcoin can only reduce some percentage of poverty in the world. Bitcoin cannot cure all the poverty around the world because there are too many people living in poverty. Bitcoin would play it role in helping people but it cannot satisfy all the needs of every man, woman and child in this world.
Well I think it wouldn't help that much even in the least part possible. If you would think about it, I mean practically speaking, Bitcoin is just another currency that will be used to different platforms of transactions.
