Yar, rather than fixing the profile picture issue, Theymos just went ahead and commissioned a complete overhaul with new forum software. I'd imagine that you will be able to upload avatars after its completion.
Probably sooner, but it's a very low priority. What is high priority right now? Thank god I have my favorite one uploaded! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) i'd put bet's on security. Cosmetics are usually the last thing on a list. I dont think there are very many security issues. There should be multiple people working on this. A few for security and a few for "cosmetics".

Self-moderation seems especially bad in the altcoin section. A new coin maker can delete all the criticism of their coin and in the worst possible case delete people warning of a virus in the code during the coin release rush.
Yeah, it shouldn't be allowed in forums like this for sure. On a whole I'd say self-moderation isn't a good idea and is abused more than not. I see it useful in giveaway threads because it helps bots perform better.

1) simply access the website bitaddress.org, then disconect from the internet. then generate your private key. now store your private key offline somewhere. now close your browser. now reconnect to the internet.
Not much safe, download bitaddress.org to usb stick, remove HDD, remove lan cable and boot from live Cd, then generate your private key in offline I would say that thats a little too extreme!

Regarding the PrimeDice advertising campaign:
Have sent out everyone who has PM'ed me (Over 60 people so far).
If you have PM'ed me and have not been sent your payment, it means you have NOT supplied me with all the needed information. Please PM me again with everything needed.
I have also caught a couple of people trying to lie about their total posts made. These people will receive NO payment. I don't care if this is a mistake or not. Please double check before you message me. People who lie about constructive posts will also be sent NOTHING. Sorry, but time wasters are very annoying when dealing with such a large number of participants.
where is my 0.03 BTC? You were one of the people who didn't supply all the needed information. Please re-PM me. Slightly off topic but I have sent you a pm regarding the faucet whitelist. Any luck on that?

So English is your second language?
Uh, No, I was born and raised in the US... I really dont see what the point of this was. (Not the tread, just this conversation). On another note, what exactly would you do? Uploading vids is simple, and anyone can be a partner. Advertising..... similar things, such as making descriptions and eye-catching titles too. Oh ok. I wouldnt post this here though. You might now get much attention. If you could do twitter, more people would be interested.

Its obvious that the plan was to be vague as possible... then just slip away hoping everyone just forgot about their coins. My initial investment was to be used as part of a home down payment.. I won't forget.
I dont think it was an intended scam. Just got a PM from him and apparently they are working very hard.

It has to be put in when the poll is first made though.
That would be great to change that Kinda sure it's ultra low priority for theymos though Life is about finding happiness in little things. Those little-little things can make many members happy, who might have faced this issue more than twice, but had no choice but to follow the rules. IMO a software/programme can never be perfect, you have to listen to small demands of users and make the implementation, even if the issue sounds viable remotely, since there are so many members here that even a "ultra-low priority" issue might be faced by several thousands. Wise words ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . I admit though there are probably more important things to be implemented like avatars or @usernames.

Then con is a deceiver person. Long con is a deceiver for long term.. Well, is not what I am, at least as much I know about myself. Thanks for your answer and clearing. It was very useful. Thats what they all say.

@jixin55 :
It seems to be very safe, but how do I know for sure that there is no virus/malware/spyware on my PC, which is checking exactly what I am doing ?
Download Ubuntu. Burn it to a disk, and boot from it. Then click the button that lets you try it out (don't install it). Then do as mentioned above.

There is the option to make the transfer automatic. We know that some people value keeping the services separate so this is not mandatory.
As for fees, the dynamic card will likely be sold for around $50 and the load fees will be in the range of 1-2%
Great! You beat coin kite in pricing.

Does this work kind of like a debit card or is a special kind of card?
Yeah, seems to work like that:
Basically what is happening behind the scenes is our system is issuing a one time use Visa / MC for a specified amount to be spent at the merchant. In parallel, the system calculates the BTC required to fund the equivalent in say USD and gives you an address to send that amount of BTC to. Once the transfer is confirmed then the card is ready to go!
This means that you get to keep your wallet however you'd like, your funds stay in BTC until you need them, and the merchant doesn't need to accept BTC as he is accepting fiat for the transaction. Hope this makes sense?
Is the sending of btc automated? They should use coinbase for that. It would be extremely popular. I wouldn't mind setting it up for you guys. Also what's the price of the card and are there fees?

We are a paid service, for around 10 bucks a month you get a free card and yes we cover the miner's fee.
Wow! This is great. I signed up a long time ago and never really understood what it was (looked at it from my phone) so I'm going to have to dig out the password!

We are a web wallet, but your coins stay on an assigned key for you. You can find out a lot about it here https://coinkite.com/faq/about We are also launching soon bitcoin payment terminals with debit cards already shipping. So if I put btc and request a card, I can use it like a regular debit card? Also are coin kite to coin kite transactions instant, and do you pay the tax fees for us like coinbase?

So there is no way to compress it? I heard that compressed addresses use less space in the blockchain? What does that mean?
No but there are ways to prune it. The pruned database is currently ~12% of the size of the full historical database that % will drop over time. Compressed keys are public keys where only the x component is listed. The y component can be recreated as needed. There is no reason to use uncompressed keys, likely Satoshi was unaware of the advantage of compressed keys at the time Bitcoin was first created. Today all wallets use compressed keys by default, support for uncompressed keys only remains as "legacy" support for existing active uncompressed keys. So are pruned db's used right now?
