That's right. It'll be final but only until we start with the public auditing which will again alter the list by refunding big multi-accers and whoever wants out now that NEM becomes something more than was anticipated at the beginning. |

I already said I was interested. You don't understand what freedom of speech represents if you think I should be punished for it. Are you being locked away in jail? How has your freedom of speech been violated. Utopian reserves the right to run this how he pleases, and if you don't like it, you don't have to be part of it. We all try to be active for the sake of NEM, that's the one thing that Utopianfuture asks of us. I don't think bashing Nem, calling it a scam, and having an obvious agenda against it fits well into what Utopianfuture asked of us. So, it's not just a scam... it's now a malevolent dictatorship too. So you're interested but you keep posting shit like that. Don't you see that all of your posts are contradictory ? Ask yourself, and be honest. Would you want someone in your movement that posted negative and simply incorrect comments about that very movement ? I don't think so. |

He is listed as "bogus transaction" which is not the case. He does not currently have internet access, so I am trying to help him get everything straightened out. I've scanned the notes on funding and understand the original donations are to fund the creation/development.
I have not seen any comments on creating a NEM Community Fund to help spread the adoption of NEM and drive activities using NEM (rather than BTC/NXT) as the funding vehicle.
Having seen some other coin threads, often the genesis process does not create a clearly established and controlled fund to drive currency activity/adoption further and then sometimes essential projects to establish the currency stall until someone is prepared to risk investing in a particular activity.
Without a fund Projects can develop if there are original stakeholders able and willing to progress them but it can be hit and miss, it would be nice to see things like faucets and other activities to drive the NEM base beyond 4000 quickly established and fund to do this would make this early activity at lot easier.
I understand NEM is being distributed across the stakeholders, but please confirm some is being reserved to drive the establishment of community funding rather then handing it all out and then asking for contributions.
There will be an announcement in the upcoming days that will address exactly that. I'm not sure this is to be released to the public yet but I think you'll be pleased |

I suggest not using virwox to buy btc with paypal, they are very expensive and you will lose about 12% of your funds on commisions.
When I was rather new to cryptos I did use virwox and it wasn't all that bad but yes you do loose a bit. |

As of right now I don't think anything has been published. I'd say it'll come later today or tomorrow. Will there be the third part of IPO? There have been talks but I think we'll have to see how many stakehodlers are in the final list. I think it'd be a good idea to spark some more interrest. The ruleset imho would have to be more strict though. |

I really welcome this, although i do have one concern:
I introduced a Romanian friend to NXT who purchased (some) of my own stake (transferred to his own wallet) who later participated into NEM after i had got on board (both of our stakes have been authenticated)
On the surface, this would look like a sockpuppet account but it's really quite the contrary in reality; he's a real individual, of which i know if needed, could vouch for me here, or, if at UP's request, in other ways if necessary.
The concern i have is how do we ensure in circumstances like above, arn't wrongly accused?
First of all only people with a lot of stakes are being targeted here. We're talking > 10 ro so. Secondly timing of posts and transactions, wording of posts, everything is taken into account when identifying sockpuppets. I don't think we're goign to hit too many false positives. Also it's a public auditing. Anyone that feels misstreated can come forward and say so. |

Another point I want to stress (which I've mentioned before): I'm getting anxious with the lack of a logo. The logos found in the OP here and on the NEM subreddit are different and below par (In my opinion; absolutely no offence to the creators. I couldn't do better!). It's hurting NEM's image. Either you or Utopian need to make a decision soon! NEM is now getting too large to have no brand associated with it. Logo will be decided by the community ! I've also stressed that point a few times but I guess UP wants to wait a little to make sure all proposals make their way here Can I suggest we set a deadline for submission, maybe mid March, for a logo that the stakeholders vote on. We then all get behind it. Maybe even create a competition with a bounty, for example I'd be happy to donate 10 or even 100 NXT to this which would give a prize pot of 30,000 to 300,000 NXT if all stakeholders did the same? KC Afaik the best logos get a dev stake anyway so there's no need to donate any more for that. |

That stake will not be the only unclaimed stake.
There weill be a public auditing where big multi-accers get weedet out which means there will be stakes from those people.
After that, there will be hate and anger and people screaming unfair, scam and what not so maybe some will voluntarily ask for a refund which again would leave stakes unclaimed.
UP still wants to have 3k stakeholders so if we're way below that there may be a second round in which the rules would be tightened severly.
I guess we'll have to wait and see...
