As of right now I don't think anything has been published. I'd say it'll come later today or tomorrow.

Will there be the third part of IPO?

There have been talks but I think we'll have to see how many stakehodlers are in the final list.
I think it'd be a good idea to spark some more interrest. The ruleset imho would have to be more strict though.

totally agree with you. Only selecting people who are willing to actively promote and contribute to NEM would be a huge plus.

Hi all,

We all talk about NEM and a New Economy Movement. Here, I want to share a concrete example about what I think NEM can really help to build a better world:

http://editi[Suspicious link removed]/2014/02/13/world/africa/cocoa-nomics-from-bean-to-bar/index.html?hpt=hp_c4

Chocolate production s a business of billions of dollars. Most of the world’s cocoa comes from West Africa, with more than a third coming from the Ivory Coast alone. Cocoa is grown mainly on small, family-owned plantations by farmers living in poverty. According to the publication, only 3% of the total price of a chocolate bar goes to the producers. If we can make NEM a powerful coin, those producers will be able to sell directly their products, without the necessity to use intermediates that speculate with the price. Even more, if we hink even beyond the cryptocurrency itself; those producers can start to manufacture their own chocolate, increasing the value and selling directly to retailers or even better, to consumers; using all the features of NEM coin.

This is why I am here

+1

This is a noble idea we should all pursue!

Ok, not to sound annoying, but today I had a friend over, and I showed her a post that had the signature "New Economy Movement." I told her to find out what that the signiture was referring to. She couldn't. Not with Google, not with anything.

I then told her to find out about Nem. And she couldn't She was even smart enough to search for the terms, "Nem economy," "Nem economy movement," Nem new economy movement." And nothing. And the only reason she thought of doing that was because she already heard the phrase "New Economy Movement."

I think that's a legitimate problem. If it's not going to be Nem Coin, we need to add something to it to make it a unique enough of a search term.

Maybe with should go about this the same way we're doing with the logos. With suggestions of something that can enhance the name Nem that makes it a searchable term on the internet. And perhaps something that also sounds good in Chinese, Japanese, German.

+1, we definitely need new blood to push NEM's movement. However, I believe, if we have some activities or tasks defined and with some promised bonus or giveaways, 3000 stakeholders should be enough though. We may need some new members who have special tech skills and energy.

The term will be associated with NEM in due course, don't worry.  Wink

UPs idea of letting people sell their stake before launch is also good, it will allow short-term holders to leave and people who buy, would be more willing to contribute. They would have paid more for their stake and would be more invested in its success. I am willing to sell half of my stake for 1000 BTC   Wink

I have an idea. A lot of people were scammed out of 69.5 Bitcoins by this guy who posted a celebratory gif to rub it in their faces. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=457575.msg5302833#msg5302833

Then Bumface came up with the idea of creating a new coin, premine it a little and give it to the people who scammed. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=482339.0

I thought that was really nice.

What about taking one Nem stake and also dividing it up and giving it to the victims?

It's just an idea.

This is a great idea, they are like our brothers. Would be a very nice gesture by NEM community. Very , very good idea j23a. How can we be sure they don't have  NEM stake already ?

j23a are you in trello, you should put your idea there as well. Charity should begin within our own crypto community first

I guess we can check their names in the stakeholder's lists. But even if they're in the list I'm sure a few extra coins won't be too bad. Take one stake, see what percentage one of the investors spent, and give them a percentage of one Nem stake.

For example this one guy invested 2 Bitcoins, which is 2.8% of the total invested. If one Nem stake is 1,000,000, then he would get 28,766.98 Nem coins.

It's all just a suggestion, and hopefully my math is correct.

I'm not in trello. It's the first time I've heard of the word.

Everyone here get's an equal stake.

And we are looking for stakeholders that can contribute to the NEM community.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea.

Dont underestimate the power of goodwill. Its not our personal stake, stakes from multi account ( although I would not mind contributing a little.)

I didn't miss it Smiley
It's something to think about but it'd be a bit of work as well.
Let's see what UP has to say I think it's not a priority at this stage we have so many other things to think about.

We are a huge community so if you guys wan't to pull that off go ahead. You'll all have > 1 000 000 NEM. A lot to share Smiley

I'm not talking about giving them each one stake, I'm talking about dividing one stake between 149 people who got scammed. At least 200 people got their Nem stake for free, using one stake to help out others is not a big deal. This is supposed to be a no envy movement.

Ok, I'm off to bed. I'll be back tomorrow.
