But they are just sheets of paper, wait for hyperinflation to happens and they will be good for heating  Cheesy

And that is why "castle doctrine" laws exist in the US.  If someone breaks into your home, or otherwise forces their way in, the law assumes that they were there with criminal intent.
I want this so much in my nation!
2606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Flash Player Bitcoin Miner on: September 21, 2012, 08:48:08 AM
It is a good proof of concept, while not efficient it opens the door to massive amounts of people putting there otherwise idle cpus to use.
CPU better stay idle than to waste energy for this thing. 1 month of mining for $2cent??

And fun fact: in the next months ASIC will arrives. Expect difficulty to skyrocket, like 10 times at least.

Then with this system you will need 10 months of mining to get $2cent lol  Shocked

The United Nations?!?!? Hahahaha! They're the reason I'm using bitcoins, to make sure those murderers don't get any more of my money!

This money spent to feed children.
Sorry but this is bullshit. Children will see 0 of that money. For more than 50 years billions and billions have been poured on the poor countries to help them and guess what? Today children keep dying.
That money will go to local warlords so that they can buy more gold jewelry and weapons, like always. They need dying children, so we keep giving them money

Watch the movie Sahara for more info. (yes, "pulling a Panama" is important)
2609  Other / Meta / Re: What's in a scammer tag? on: September 21, 2012, 08:35:12 AM
Dunno, maybe 4 is a scam.

1 and 2 definitely are not. Sorry guys but if you expect to become rich by posting on the forum and then you don't become rich, so much fail for you. In 2 he send back money, so it is not a scam.

3 and 4...well they are bet, but in 3 you still do not lose your money. In 4 it's not clear.

My general opinion is that if you don't lose money it's not a scam. But it seems here the "scammer" tag is driven more by greed than something else. "hurr durr he said he give 1btc to everyone who post in the forum and now doesn't, scamscamscam".

BitCoins are the ultimate currency backed by nothing. It is not money in my view because money is a tangible asset, and BitCoins are not.
This remember me about this quote from The Scorpion King

Quote
You are king of nothing ... the ruler of a pile of sands and rocks
and then
Quote
"If I am no king," the giant asked, as if genuinely curious, "why are you kneeling before me?"

can i change my bitcoin wallet to be the same as the other forum wallet?
Please explain better your question.

To me it seems you are really confused about Bitcoin and how it works.
2614  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just started mining... on: September 20, 2012, 10:01:52 PM
More or less, yes.
2615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Flash Player Bitcoin Miner on: September 20, 2012, 09:59:52 PM
Interesting. Is there anywhere I could try this out? For perspective, how many bitcoins per week would ~120 khash/s produce?
Lol

If you mine 24/24 it would make 0.02$ per month  Cheesy Wich is 0.0016 bitcoin per month  Cheesy
2616  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Proposal to help stop thieves on: September 20, 2012, 09:46:34 PM
Blocking the coins makes no sense in many scenarios:
  • If the coins are reused before being signaled as stolen, an innocent person will suffer from having received worthless coins before it was known that they were worthless. And you cannot distinguish between coins having been moved by the thief in his own wallet from coins having been used to pay a service or a good, so as soon as the coins have been moved, you can no longer blacklist them.
  • If the coins have been sent through a mixer, then you will now blacklist any output which contains even one satoshi from the stolen coins.
  • You can attack someone by convincing people that 1 BTC mixed with their 10,000 BTC has been stolen, thus rendering the whole 10,000 BTC worthless.

Can't you see the dozens of way your proposal could go wrong?

How is it fraud of the currency isn't considered real? Sorry it seems I'm not tickleing anyone's noodles here
What matter is the value

And right now 1 btc is worth 12.5$ or so. And if i steal 12.5$, police will put me in the jail!
2618  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do I do with a wallet.dat? on: September 20, 2012, 08:08:06 PM
Basically, copy-paste

Note: if you remove wallet.dat and then you start the bitcoin client it will create a new one. So pay attention to not confuse your wallet.dat with your btc with the new one wich is empty  Smiley

2620  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Pool For Beginners on: September 20, 2012, 01:22:01 PM
Yes, pirate too was paying 7% week...  Cheesy It's SUSPECT if a pool pay you more than the btc it get from the blocks mined.
