Cryptocurrency came into existence because we wanted to fight the idea that the government can just print more money and thus increase circulations which can be affecting the value of the money you are holding today and into the future - the problem of inflationary asset. Now, with many altcoins I am seeing the same kind of mindset - set-up a project whether the use-cases and the technological expertise can be there or not and then invite people to shell out their money in return for some coins or tokens. I am seeing a big similarity to the printing of money here. And the saddest part is when the coin or token will eventually have no real value in the exchanges...that is the biggest equivalent of a big rip-off inflation much worse than Zimbabwe experienced. Just my opinion, anyway.

Why we are swimming in so many types and kind of altcoins in the market today? Simple. people wanted to have a slice of the cryptocurrency market and sometimes they are even creating their own markets too...with the main aim of getting the money they are dreaming about while at the same time pretend that they are introducing the next big thing to the slice bread. Now, it can be greed, of course. of course, there can be some exemptions to this rule from time to time when we see something that is really innovative and even a game-change...finding the real gems can be so difficult though.

He should be spunked and should be doing a community service right there in India so he can experience what is real life is all about. I actually heard of this man before with his claim to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto and I think it was here in this forum. Good thing that he got arrested for orchestrating a fraud and let's hope those he victimized with his ponzi scam will go out and file more cases against him. We don't need Jörg Molt and we don't need Craig Wright ruining the name of Bitcoin for their own personal gains and ambitions.

In my view, we are now starting to get a world divided on how they view and stand on Bitcoin with many personalities declaring their love for the coin and promoting it whenever they can and then those who dislike it and dropping it like a hot potato to the ground - of course the majority don't really care that is for now. And this is what can we expect with a game-changing innovation...there can be a time when it is a polarizing agent and we are seeing it now in action. How Bitcoin will be treated let's say on its 20th anniversary is something I am looking forward to.

We are always on the look-out for any good and hopefully big developments that can be the catalyst for the cryptocurrency market to significantly rise and away from the seemingly "bearish" state we are in. Updates from the Ethereum network are always welcome, especially if they are proven to be working and effective for the purposes at hand. Hopefully, the month of August can be a lot better than June and July - and not what they termed as "ghost month" which is kinda scary just thinking about it.

Maybe the idea of an intellectual right is not something that is embedded in the culture of Russia though I am sure this can be true in other countries as well. But what can be so brazen in Russia is that it is the government itself that is not respecting the laws covering intellectual properties, and this can be the biggest source of the problem. In other words, when you are based in Russia or dealing with some Russians especially those in power or in corporate hierarchy, you have to be careful not to divulge your ideas as they can adopt as their own. Disclaimer: I am sure that all Russians have this kind of mindset, though.

Telegram is full of scams in my opinion, so those offering you a large APY will probably want to take your precious BNB coins and give you worthless BEP20 tokens that will eventually be dumped to zero, abandoned and forgotten. To be honest, this type of investment could be an ordinary Ponzi or MLM scheme. They will attract new investors and pay you BNB, but one day they will disappear with all the coins raised.

I advice you to only lend BNB coins on trusted platforms like Binance or BlockFi. You can also delegate your BNB coins to one of BSC validators of your choice.

Most of the Telegram groups that are focusing on cryptocurrencies are full of scams being advertised or shilled to get as many participants to their projects as much as possible., I am sure that once or twice we have been enticed to try to support a meme project with the hope that one day it would be doing a crazy pump, but we know that the chance is quite slim. And so to attract more people we now have deflationary coins that are rewarding BNB to their holders, which can be a good way to earn passive income...until it lasts.

By the way to OP, where did you get the original post of this thread? This sounds so familiar to me.

In my own view, the overarching reasons why the Chinese government has decided to ban Bitcoin and its mining are the following: 1. Bitcoin is something they may have a hard time to control and control is always at the center of the government even up to now and anything that can threaten this control will really have to be kicked, and 2. They don't want anything that can compete with their own digital yuan and Bitcoin is taken as a possible competitor, so they don't like Bitcoin. Now, it would be an insult to them if they hate Bitcoin and then continually allow its mining right within its jurisdiction.

So the saga of Craig Wright really continues and he will never stop until he get everything he wanted...and since he got the money at his arsenals he is getting creative lawyers at his side. This is what money can do...it can harm others in the hands of a stupid and corrupt person. Now, am wondering...will there be a time when members of this forum can be barred from talking about him or the many cases he has lodged in the court? I dread that day.

This definition or classification is coming from the bankers working for the China government and yes they have the freedom to classify Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency for that matter any way they like. Hell, they even have opposite opinions than us. it is obvious that any currency apart from those issued by the government or their foreign counterparts can be considered as private on the basis that it is not by the government. What is clear here is that for a long, long time we can never expect China to change its current stand on cryptocurrency...therefore we can say that the China case is now officially closed for good. Goodbye, China hello world.
