2601  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Should I make an isolation box for my phone? on: April 11, 2020, 07:17:28 AM
In the past, I haven't really been bothered by geotracking on my phone, but I'm starting to rethink my attitude. It isn't just Google an Facebook. but a load of other organisations seem to be getting in on the idea. I've got some old roofing lead, and I'm thinking of lining a tin box with it, and using it to isolate my phone, especially when I am travelling.

Does any one else have similar concerns?

You'll still have to pull it out to use it.
2602  Other / Meta / Re: [BitCoinTalk][COVID-19] Grim Reality on: April 11, 2020, 01:33:26 AM
I feel like the type of Bitcoiners that are on the forum are recluses to begin with so they have a smaller chance of dying. You combine that with the fact most of the people on here are probably under 40 and you have a death rate significantly below 1 percent.

After I posted about my health issue, I got several PMs from others who were in the same type of boat.  We have no idea how old anyone is on this forum.

Young people seem to think that a person in their late thirties couldn't understand bitcoin, but remember I mined my first hundred bitcoins, ran a mining guild and busted several large scammers before you guys even read the word bitcoin.   Tongue
2603  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Feature idea: give DT1 the ability to remove specific feedbacks from DT on: April 11, 2020, 01:17:02 AM
I don't think this would be a good idea, not because of the idea, but of the current state of DT.

It would just increase the drama.  Right now for a few weeks each month after the DT reorg there is a lot of political play, trading of trust and negatives.  Now instead of lobbying to get someone off DT, you would be lobbying to remove a trust rating that next month prob will be irrelevant.
2604  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OgNasty Ponzi passthrough and ponzi fans.. BTC losses everywhere he goes on: April 10, 2020, 06:09:17 AM
Og,

How much was the 'reserve fund' for your pirateat pass through?

It was the amount I promised the depositors and only grew until it was paid out.

Twitchy - he had the fund he received from pirate - over 2,000 BTC AND the fund he sent to the investors - 65 BTC.  Notice the deflection?  (This is important)

No sense arguing about this - we just need to present the blockchain proof in an easy way people can understand.  When I have more time, or if someone else wants to help.
2605  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Plead] Phinnaeus Gage's User Moniker Manifested Due to a Malignant Brain Tumor on: April 10, 2020, 02:58:31 AM
702-733-0320.  Let us know what you find out.
Is this his phone number? How did you get it?

That's the phone number of the location Gleb said he was at, in the OP.
2606  Other / Meta / Re: Identifying alts using posted addresses on: April 10, 2020, 01:41:55 AM
If you don't return my PMs, you have to wait like everyone else.   Wink
Which PM did I overlook?

Well, sent to you on Apr 4, but I never really asked a question, so there was no need to reply.  Smiley
2607  Other / Meta / Re: Identifying alts using posted addresses on: April 09, 2020, 05:44:06 AM
KYC?

Wouldn't KYC make alt accounts more valuable?  The more verification, the more you can sell it for.
2608  Other / Meta / Re: Identifying alts using posted addresses on: April 09, 2020, 02:58:07 AM
But the better solution is to build a system where alt accounts have no value.
How?

If you don't return my PMs, you have to wait like everyone else.   Wink

I'd glad most have the knowledge that a simple copy/paste of an address is proof of nothing; the same as copy/paste of any information.  I'm sure the community will react the proper way if an accusation ever comes up.

(One of the many reasons I'm trying to use vanity generated wallet addresses for the various SigCamps I've signed up for)

Missed this one.   That is a bad idea, since it helps people assume it is you, with something you cannot control.  You are fighting ignorance of newbies here - they won't know a vanity address is something anyone can generate.

a is number 10

10 is even

From now on I will refer to Lauda as a he unless he tells me otherwise.  Smiley

This is a good move. it is good that you want to learn and accept advice.  Wink
you have potential, so older forum members will not be rude to you  Cheesy

You can tell a lot about the person by the way they react to requests to do something.  Smiley

The insurance fund only grew until it was paid out.

^ Cut through the deflection and we have this one statement.   What does that have to do with what I posted?

When you knew he was going to default, you decided to create an insurance fund and forced everyone to accept that instead of coin you got back from pirate.  That is where you scammed everyone, by pretending you never received any coin.

Quote from: signature link - good read!
Unlike previous months no details on total invested or paid out are shared.
Reserve fund = ~BTC65, investments = ~BTC2,000.

Moving discussion since this is a scandal summary thread.

Edit:  Reposted since it is on topic here.

2613  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Develop From the Ground to Startup & Beyond..... on: April 07, 2020, 07:12:01 PM
We have a new project which we would like to implement. At the moments I do not have much of a budget to hire many people for those tasks, that's why we are looking for partners who will get shares from each project.

These people will own shares of my company.

What % of shares do you plan to give away for development?
What % of shares do you plan to use for fundraising?
What % of shares will the founders get?
And finally, what is your projected revenue?

Answering these questions will help you attract the right people financial wise.
2614  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Listing your token on a cryptocurrency exchange on: April 07, 2020, 08:23:32 AM
We'll be waiting for these developers to come down here and post their testimonials unless half of these developers come down here and give you 100% positive feedback people should be careful about this offer.

It's odd that none of these coins have ever commented about his service anywhere.   And this work could not have been done recently, since no one would pay 16btc for their services with no records...

16 hours to my gender relationship reveal with Lauda!   Smiley
2616  Other / Meta / Re: The Objective Standards Guild - Testimonium Libertatem Iustitia on: April 07, 2020, 08:07:21 AM
My efforts have had a considerable positive impact on the trust system over the years.

Up to debate lol.   Considerable as in first and only member who officially belongs nowhere near DT.

And you want us to follow a drunk in a revolution?   Roll Eyes
2617  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gender reveal party - with social distancing! on: April 07, 2020, 07:04:48 AM
I read a bit of it, but I couldn't see any name Lauda.
That's because it was my gender reveal party, not Lauda's. Though in all honesty it probably just raised further questions. I've said before that Lauda can't be permitted to have a monopoly on gender confusion. Smiley

OK.  I will read it and may merit you.  Congratulations dude or dudette.  Smiley
2618  Economy / Reputation / Re: “bonesjonesreturns” claims that “Nobody has dared try to refute the evidence” on: April 07, 2020, 06:51:56 AM
So as you've already mentioned, Vod is right. This asshat can't be reasoned with and is better left ignored. He should absolutely be banned for trolling.

It was my "fault" for reanimating him by pointing out how he is manipulating the trust system by including the same members among his 3 accounts.

Well, look who is encouraging him:

Stealing my thunder?

I don't think I saw that thread, sorry.  I read a bit of it, but I couldn't see any name Lauda.  This gender reveal party is just for me and has no influence on anyone else.   Yes, I am being selfish drawing so much attention to my laziness, but it's been bugging me for years.
2620  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gender reveal party - with social distancing! on: April 07, 2020, 06:30:23 AM
So...  How will this “reveal” actually work?

Why... Thank you for asking nullius.  Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5238496.0

I had to lock it for poor planning.  Discussion can happen here after the reveal.  This time, I'll ask people not to post if they are going to troll others with repetitive info.
