Good riddance, I friggin HATE paypal.  They tell me the buyers' accounts "could" have been hacked and they refund all the money to the (bitcoin) purchaser.  Wouldn't it be Paypal's responsibility to not get hacked?  or the account holder?  What about proof of account intrusion from an unfamiliar IP? Nope, screw over the eBay sellers.

We need a good way to pay for items in person with bitcoin.  How would that be achieved?

I'm sure that's being developed/improved upon and forthcoming in the not too distant future.

Bitcoin: McLovin It (I just had an interesting thought: Who's going to buy the first Big Mac with Bitcoin?)
lmfao! ^

I would buy so many cheeseburgers if I could pay for them in BTC.  BTC Macs!

Seeing stuff like this is what makes me so optimistic about bitcoin. Keep up the great work! If you're itching to create more stuff, you should make some wallpapers Wink

+1

1440 x 900 please.   Grin
If you're going to that res you might as well at least do some 1080p + ones.

But awesome work Smiley I definitely appreciate this!

2611  Economy / Goods / Re: Sapphire Radeon Xtreme HD 5850 FOR ONLY $176 on: July 28, 2011, 06:04:10 AM
Why spend $$ when you could spend bitcoins?  Ercolinux has 5850s for just over 12.0 BTC!
Suddenly seeming like a pretty good deal?? lmao.  I bought one today, since I get about 1.5 BTC per day I think i'll buy one off him every couple weeks for sure.

The client lacks A LOT of things but a column displaying the btc value in dollar isn't one of them in my opinion...

I agree.  I think we need some sort of remote control software so we can authorize bitcoin transactions in person using a phone.
2615  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BTCguild having terrible luck now or just me? on: July 27, 2011, 11:46:21 PM
I noticed a shit luck day on BTC Guild myself.  Do you think it's worth the 7% fees to hop over to deepbit?

7% fee?

Its 3% for proportional (10% for pps, but luck has nothing to do when pps'ing)

Oh that's not too bad then.  Well hopefull the 3% loss makes up for the huge luck increase!

2617  Economy / Goods / Re: I'll buy your money on: July 27, 2011, 11:37:00 PM
What about Canadian currency?  I have some of the 2000s-style, 1990s-style, and really old-style.

How much for the old style one?
I'll take a picture of the one I have at home and I'll show you.  In the really old style there I only have a $1 bill.  Still cool though!

True.  But at least there's no paypal fees and you don't have to go out of your way for selling your bitcoins.
