2601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: June 21, 2017, 08:42:40 PM
Look at those costumes, they are wearing winter outfits, does it mean that we will see a long overdue Stark family reunion? Also look at the dagger in Arya's hip. Is not that the dagger that was used to kill Bran Stark in season 1?

The episode run times were also released this week.

Episode 1: 59 minutes
Episode 2: 59 minutes
Episode 3: 63 minutes
Episode 4: 50 minutes
Episode 5: 59 minutes
Episode 6: 71 minutes
Episode 7: 81 minutes

Wow, 81 minutes, shit's going down!

I'm not certain Game of Thrones ever end if they're already planning 3 or 4 spin off series.

 Huh

I'm thinking of placing small bets on Daenerys and Jon Snow. The first book is titled "A Song of Fire and Ice". If Daenerys is fire, Jon Snow could be ice and George Martin could have given away the ending there.

Unless Daenerys is fire and ice is meant to represent the Night King. In which case things could get freaky. Could Martin be so cruel as to do that to his fans? I don't know.

It won't. There's so much material for prequels!
Well, at least I hope so..
I don't want to go through what I went through when Breaking Bad ended  Cry

Obviously john snow we will rule.

Hahah, you sweet summer child  Cheesy

Seriously, haven't you guys learned already if you expect something in GoT, it's not going to happen.

I'd rather place my bet on Petyr Baelish or Euron Greyjoy than on Jon or Deny
Pretty sweet odds for Euron! I mean unlikely, but following those odds, not that bad.
Btw, Euron has ships, Deny needs ships, marriage unlikely?

28th game was a loss

stats are updated

announcing 29th game

bet is done with 0.05 for 1.952 on the home team to win

announcing 30th game

bet is done with 0.05 for 1.568 on the home team to win

wish me luck

Confirmed.

After a month betting you lost 10% of your bankroll, i think you are far away of doubling bitcoin.
Maybe it is time for new strategy? Parlay 2 matches?  Undecided

Imagine my feelings, I'v been promised 5% of the profits
No tips for me  Cry Cry
Hoping messi breaks through soon Cheesy
2603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: June 21, 2017, 04:56:10 PM
Putting your money into bitcoin will make you double your money even less than a year, that's the big difference.
If the current trend will still happen, you can even make more than that, therefore save money in the bank
and invest some for bitcoin.

How do you even know that it will be double in less than a year? there is no telling how things will turn out , your bitcoin could worth nothing in a year . No one can predict the future that is why when you are getting profit then you should get it out as soon as possible, otherwise you are just going to lose it again

True. Bitcoin has a couple of good years but 2017 is different, because of some altcoins that is being created that is more better than BTC make some people think that they should go to alternatives. But still some people don't just call BTC a lifetime investment without reason. Sounds like a contradiction that's because the future is still uncertain and we are still at the development age. Let's embrace the changes of tides of events. Hang on tight.
Its really normal for a certain person to find a new thing that would really see that it can really give them profits and as you said there are potential alts on the market that can possible surpass bitcoin but its not still sure and there are lots of thing that will still happen later on and theres no man could able to predict on whats ahead thats why as long we do make money we should really know how to maximize it.

Investing the money wisely would be correct Smiley
I recently saw a video with a guy investing at 20% a year stocks vs someone who didn't invest at all
Those 20% a year add up, and some of us pass up on opportunities at 20% a month!
2604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 21, 2017, 04:52:06 PM
Gambling becomes wrong when you're getting addicted to it. If you gamble with a certain amount like once every month or so. You should be okay.
Yes I agreed on you mate in that matter, because we know that being an addict is not a good thing to become.
So gambling is not a good habit at all.

Even you gamble with a certain amount every month, you can still be on the wrong decision. Because you have been allocating a budget to gamble, that's making it wrong. What if the time of needs come? When you have something important to buy or use that money for, for your relatives? But you did allocate a budget of it instead of that important matter. And that what makes gambling wrong.

The idea of allocating a budget for gambling seems fine for me. Gambling is not wrong, it is how people play it. Gambling should just be a game, stress-reliever, or past-time but there are people who treat gambling as a source of income. We can gain profit from it but the chance is very small.

Treating gambling as a steady source of income is completely ...
Gambling is for fun, and that's it.
If you treat it as a source of income, it's going to eat you up and spit you out.
2605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Should I invest in GPU mining? on: June 21, 2017, 03:31:39 PM
I'm not going to need and extra cables for the setup?

I have ordered 9 risers and a sata 3.0 for the SSD

Also, so far I have received 2 rx470s and one gtx1070, intel celeron and asrock h81 probtc

The hx1200i from amazon.co.uk set the dispatch date at 28th June so it's going to take a while before I start mining..

The 2 rx470s I ordered from ebay have not yet been marked shipped and the arrival date was supposed to be yesterday
No response from the Italian seller at all!

I'm afraid I'm going to have to request a refund and find 2 GPUs somewhere else Sad
2606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For sports bettors on: June 21, 2017, 02:41:15 PM
Depends on my bet.

I used to bet 5 Kuna every time (under 1$) so ofcourse betting small amounts on 1 event wouldn't result in anything Cheesy

Betting a parley of 6-7 games would be a norm.

However, when I bet large amounts as 500 Kuna, I'd bet only 1 game Tongue

the shirts are really nice. I want to purchase 2 (medium size) of them with 20 TOR. How much do i have to add for shippment to Ghana...lol

Also, someone should please help me tell @theTorCoin to get active on twitter and to make his tweets more interractive

Unfortunately, there isn't free shipping available for Ghana
So for 2 shirts, shipping would be 11.55$
You can get the fidget spinner without extra shipping fees though Smiley

Hello Iluvbitcoins. Do you even requested authorization from the Tor project to sell things using its name and logo?

That logo is not made by them, if you look closely.
Also Tor is in dictionary with definition "a rocky pinnacle; a peak of a bare or rocky mountain or hill.", so i do not think they have legally right to any authorization or whatsoever.
The logo was made by some person here (i think it was iluvbitcoins), and it is different enough from the original one that, you can sell the t-shirts freely i think.

Exactly, the logo has nothing to do with the Tor project!
I didn't make it, TheTorcoin paid someone for the logo Smiley

Want a Torcoin fidget spinner?

Get one for 5 TOR, 0.002BTC, or 5$ PayPal!

2609  Economy / Gambling / Re: IMPORTANT ★ Your password may have been stolen!!! on: June 21, 2017, 01:39:21 PM
I too experienced someone has tried to get into some of my cryptorelated accounts with my email and an old password. They too seem to have got into some accounts that I no longer use. As I used to have same password for every sites. Still the question is from where they got the passwords.
They are targeting every crypto related sites.
For your own security avoid doing that, if at some point a hacker gets hold of your password then that hacker will get access to almost all your life, that is why it is better to use different passwords for each account that you have in different websites, that way you will be able to limit the damage a hacker can do to you in case they get one of your passwords.

In Addition to that try to make your password been randomized with extra special characters with capslock on some letters on it so that hackers and breachers will get a hardtime to do some dirty workds with our account and also we must set the 2fa and never used our main email interms on registering on some account that should be random to or try to make a dummy so that it adds more security to us.

I would advise using a password manager, I can't stress how important it is to have a different password on each account!
And how impossible it is to memorize every (strong) password for hundreds of websites.

I too have used only 2-3 passwords previously, until a few months ago somehow one of my passwords was obtained, my bitcointalk account, my gmail and many exchange websites etc. have been breached.
Luckily where my funds were located I was using 2FA, however, it took a week or so to recover access to my bitcointalk account etc.

I was lucky the attacker wasn't very smart, I have noticed a few attempts of him trying to scam someone from my account, however I reacted with a scam accusation against myself with a newly created acc (signed PGP, addresses etc.) so no has been scammed.

Using the same password on many websites (not all of which are secure), and even secure websites get hacked, and hackers obtain usernames and passwords!
If you're using the same password everywhere, the same or simmilar username, you're risking everything.

Use a password manager!

WHich exchanges were you using the same password?

I think more and more there is a good chance that there was some leak on Bitcointalk again. Because thats the common demominator in all of these failed logins that I have been getting.

I remember Btc-e, I don't remember everything that was breached, because it was a lot of websites I used maybe once or twice
Betcoin.ag account, gmail, bitcointalk etc.

Update:

As I see post #63 is unedited and was posted before the games started
The odds are matching the ones that were reported to me later as a regular update of these won, these didn't

Messi2017 has confirmed he somehow didn't provide me with bets 17,18,19,20
19 and 20 were lost, and 17 and 18 won

Since the wins have an unedited post with the matching odds, and I have received a screenshot of the bet made
but I see no reason why someone would send me 4 games on purpose and then claim only 2 of them won.

I'm going to proclaim games 17,18,19 and 20 as legit.

Where do you see anything related to the Tor project name and logo?
I guess if it was it would be even better, wouldn't they like some free marketing?

very cool t-shirt, but there is other color other than white? like black or blue? also what size are available, i'm an M, i'm small lol, tell me if this is available, i might think about purchasing one

Currently white only.
All sizes available Smiley

announcing the 18th game

I have gotten the results as "winners" after the games ended, so I am disbanding this results from the total win.
This matches the odds of 2 games that have been played and won however I can not confirm it.

Confirmed that the 28th game is announced.
2613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 21, 2017, 12:27:20 AM
RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig will be able to participate in the next Champions League despite both being part of the common property Red Bull.
The rules seemed to deny participation to both teams, but the Fifa commission decided to admit both teams

RB Leipzig isn't going to qualify anyways.
RB Salzburg has chances, but group stage tops.

2615  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: June 21, 2017, 12:10:01 AM
If you want to invest on casinos, pick one with a good bankroll management (for example, crypto-games) because there are times that a high roller would win x consecutive times and you will surely lose your investment in no time.
There are several problems which maybe you are not aware of mate and hence let me help you out. The first and actually the biggest danger is that the site we invest might turn scam anytime.

Secondly, there is only a house edge of 1-2% and chances are there gambler wins too. Thirdly and might be wrong, I wonder what stops site from claiming their own wins as players, I mean they pretend to be players and since they know the seed win the bets ?

And aside from that, even we can that investing in a casino's bankroll looks promising and profitable, why only few users here in the community likes the idea of investing on a gambling site's bankroll?

See? Because that is really not profitable. When I say not profitable it doesn't mean you will lose. What I meant here was, the profit you will made on a long run is not worth it so in other words just a waste of time although good thing is passive. Just bet on the gambling site that it will  not run while you have an active investment there.

Scamming people for their bankroll or even running a negative bankroll for a while will result in people withdrawing their funds and the bankroll being pointless (0).
If the casino doesn't have their own funds, it's in their best interest to run the bankroll as efficiently as possible.
2616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Been to Macau? on: June 20, 2017, 11:38:15 PM
It's like a gambler's paradise there. About 33 casinos squeezed into a small island.

Never been there, but I don't think it can be better than Vegas. I only know it from movies though, so my info might be wrong of course.
One thing is sure, it's way better than my country, because we don't have many casinos here, and the ones we have are not very special.

Kinda far away though
When you go to Vegas, you have a lot of things to see in USA too
Macau is in China, I mean, you got things to see
But..

Hmm, I don't know
It's just that Vegas is Vegas
But I'd support Macau just because free markets and stuff Cheesy
2617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: June 20, 2017, 11:31:39 PM
I would be surprised if all their games are 0% house edge. I'm sure they only have a few games that are 0%, because they still need to pay bills, their initial investment and make a profit.

If they're really running everything at 0% for the long-term, I would be slightly suspicious if their games are fair or not Smiley

What if it's a "casino" that's only player based? Like, you win based on other peoples losses
The website just gets advertising profits
Wouldn't be conventional, but would certainly be interesting
2618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Casinos Are There in Your Country? on: June 20, 2017, 11:22:02 PM
More or less 15 casinos, and the majority of them is at the capital city or capital region, I can't go there as I am just a teenager but most of my family does, they sure win a lot but after the tragedy at a one casino which name is Resort World they stop momentarily, its a good casino though it's a hotel casino that offers entertainment and much things that one can offer so its actually famous around my country.

Well, this here states 62
http://www.worldcasinodirectory.com/philippines

And most of them look pretty decent!

The same website listed only 13 in Croatia
http://www.worldcasinodirectory.com/croatia

None of which from my home town, where there are 4 I believe  Cheesy
So I'm guessing there's a lot more casinos in the Philippines too.
