1661  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can't open Electrum on: January 03, 2018, 08:39:47 PM
Delete all the files in your data directory except the ones in the wallets subdirectory. The data directory is one level up from your wallets directory: http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#where-is-my-wallet-file-located

Then run electrum again and hopefully it'll start now.

This worked, thank you!

Note that I also deleted ElectronCash folders.

Windows 10 64 bit
i7 5500U
16 GB RAM
Electrum-3.0.3 as I wrote, just reinstalled the new version after I realized it didn't work.
Reinstallation didn't help though.

I upgraded to 3.0.3 recently on Win 10 64bit with no problems so I can confirm it should work. It's not that easy to diagnose when Windows just doesn't run something and doesn't give an error message.

It is working now Smiley

It *could* be a permissions error... Windows10 has some "odd" quirks where it won't let you write to certain locations without admin rights... but it doesn't trigger the UAC (User Access Control) to try and get the permission.

Try downloading the 3.0.3 Portable version, put it on a USB stick and run it from there... see if it works. If that does, and the installed version doesn't, then I suspect that for whatever reason the installed (and/or standalone) version is unable to create/read/write to the Electrum datadir or one of the files/folder in that directory... %AppData%\Electrum

I already added the folder to my AV and firewall exceptions list but it didn't help
Abdussamads solution solved the problem Smiley
1662  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: January 03, 2018, 08:25:58 PM
Update:

- BTC, XMR, and BCH deposits and withdrawals work fine. In case you still have any issue please let me know.
- 90% of XMR withdrawal issues usually due to missed payment ID, please don't forget to input your payment ID.

And for BTG, I'm sorry for the delay and lack of announcement. BTG have been snapshot-ed and if you own BTC in BOTH balance and investment at the time of the hard fork, you will be credited. You can check and withdraw your BTG balance through this command in the chat box:

/checkbalancebtg
Get your BTG balance in Satoshi

/withdrawbtg <address> <amount in Satoshi>
Withdraw your BTG balance to the specified address

While we are supporting BTG withdrawal, currently we have no future plan to support BTG as a dice currency. Please note that unlike BCH, BTG address have different format from your BTC address, you will encounter error if you try to withdraw to your BTC address. Currently BTG hot wallet should be more than enough to cover most withdrawals ( and I'll increase the amount after everything is stable ), but as always, email me at support@safedice.com if you have any issue with BTG withdrawal.

Why doesn't anything happen when I type /checkbalancebtg ?
Literally nothing, no error messege, no report, nothing o.o

http://prntscr.com/hvond7

The error messeges are me typing help, command etc.

1670  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to sell my house? on: December 29, 2017, 10:22:50 AM
If you want to sell your house to invest in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency then STOP because you'll end homeless with zero money.
Only invest money that won't harm you if you lose it.
Ciao.

What we're all neglecting is that he might have multiple houses, so it wouldn't actually be a big investment. xD
1671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 111+ BTC Jackpot! on: December 29, 2017, 09:08:31 AM
Stunna, you should enable/use segwit address(if not already). the fees are cheaper when compared to sending to normal bitcoin address.

Just a reminder you may experience great delays when depositing or withdrawing depending on the transaction fee due to bitcoin network congestion. Bitcoin fees are reaching $40+ Sad we're waiting patiently for lightning and will be adding altcoins in our new version.
I'm exciting about the new version, could you share more info? when it'll be released, which altcoins will be accepted?

Honestly, I really think its about time a casino finally starts accepting USDT for deposits.

I know it has a bad rap because of that one guy on twitter "Bitfinxed-rekt" or something but I think its very useful.

1 month ago or so, bitcoin was $10K, then it was $20K, and now its almost $10K again. Sites really should use something like USDT.

Maybe Primedice can be the first to start the trend and then maybe more sites will do it.

One does not simply accept USD without regulation

Might be possible to lock in on a price once crypto is deposited, though, it will require too much flirting with regulators in order to maintain this without risk.

So, no.

End of the day, despite what everyone says, if a site is not provably fair you CANNOT prove they are fair.

It's such an easy implementation that I am happy for websites or software providers to contact me in regards to implementing. I have two people working with me & CGF exactly for that. And OP I replied to your PM, sorry about the delay.

How do you do this?
You never fill the box yourself (as a website) and make the user do it?
1674  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can't open Electrum on: December 29, 2017, 08:54:36 AM
Which OS and what specific version are you attempting to open. "Help, it doesn't work" isn't particularly informative Tongue

Windows 10 64 bit
i7 5500U
16 GB RAM
Electrum-3.0.3 as I wrote, just reinstalled the new version after I realized it didn't work.

As a debtholder myself, I obviously would like to be repaid even a portion of what I am owed. My issue with using Risto's assets are, firstly, how are they defined? Do Risto's assets include things like NewCorp, Town Housing Corp., and Hypothecary Bank as well as user assets like "Dark" and "Soul"?

And secondly, where do funds to actually and grow out the game come from? Several didn't seem to like the dilution route I suggested for creation of more M/CKM for a token exchange campaign (TEC). This would impact debt and non-debt holders equally and Smooth was at least warm to the idea. If we don't have any dilution, don't hold a TEC, and use all of Risto's assets to pay off, how will we grow?

A 1/3 of profit by the game going to "debt" payments and 1/3 for CKO holders and 1/3 saved for game growth tries to balance the different factors we need to keep in mind. %'s can change and we can of course think about if we even want "CKO" (ownership) shares that function like old "CK" shares to a degree. Smooth was earlier saying that there needs to be a separation of currency and ownership, but I am not sure to what levels this needs to be done.

I believe all his assets should be used to repay his debt, from which, we'll gather voluntary donations, which will probably be sufficient as if it was  forceably taken from his debtors.

I just found out the chain was scanned a few hours ago and I didn't manage to withdraw my coins
It's a fork, not a "scan".

You can't call it a fork without a working wallet.
The chain was captured yesterday, it was scanned.

Well, doubt price will stay over 2.8$ as it spikes since that's the buyback price.

Could go over later on if an IPO happens since we'll get a stock in the company with ZrCoins  Cheesy

Maybe those days will come, who knows Cheesy I've been expecting some price movements when the plants builded.

Will depend how much profit the plant/company can make, we'll see.

The dioxide backing might be just the bottom limit.
