2601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dump: I told you on July 3rd.... on: August 14, 2016, 12:31:14 AM
People missed one thing before the halving, at December 2015 bitcoin were worthing 250-300 dollars, at January this year bitcoin jumped to 400 for no reason besides the bitcoin halving coming, soo the current value is the right one and maybe a bit above the real value, that could be 500-600 dollars.  Soo dont expect too much from bitcoin, i believe bitcoin will end the year at 700 dollars but if it stands at this value the halving has already made its presence.
2602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase has partnered with Paypal - Officially! on: August 14, 2016, 12:21:35 AM
I still don't see how Paypal is accepting BTC. When I open my Paypal account I can't see option to withdraw or deposit BTC in here and anything else that isn't that is waste of time for me and not that cool. I want to be able to buy in ebay with BTC.

because paypal is not accepting bitcoin YET.
the problem is with the article that OP shared, it is easily misinterpreted.
what i understand from the different news about it and also from coinbase itself, i realize that paypal is not doing anything that is even remotely related with bitcoin the only thing is that "coinbase" will pay you your money ($$$) to your paypal account if you want .

in other words coinbase has added only paypal withdrawal option .

Although paypal is not fully integrated with bitcoin network of Coinbase and only Coinbase has enabled Paypal withdraw option, but that day is not far away when Paypal has to integrate bitcoin as a full deposit/withdraw option on the increasing demand of the people.

Paypal is doing nothing here, just allowing the coinbase to withdraw their bitcoins to paypal, where paypal will once again limit you and control your money, if they dont frooze your funds, even knowing where the money is coming. Paypal has hired xapo ceo as i remember soo some big new should be announced from paypal related to crypto world.
2603  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have bitcoin AND debt? on: August 14, 2016, 12:15:45 AM
Well i have a debit that im paying with my salarie it will end by December i had sold some coins in the past to cover one month fee from it, nowadays i dont mix my coins with fiat, besides the bitcoins i got not be enought to pay the debit im investing them soo no way to sell them for those reason.
2604  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 14, 2016, 12:11:10 AM
I always want to earn money, so i choose to invest it than to save my money and i know invest is not always safe but i will invest it with safety and not greedy.

If you are looking for safe investment then you should invest your all money without any hesitation in gold as it is the safest investment if you can afford to wait for long term.

Why he would invest all money into gold? Bitcoin has much more potencial to bring amazing results against gold, gold is more stable then bitcoin and its limited always a country or bank will act to dont let the price reach the sky, bitcoin has freedom to hit bigger values and it will. And never should invest all the money into anything, save a part for emergency.
2605  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: August 14, 2016, 12:08:39 AM
Gold has the same attributes and you can't invest gold. Bitcoin has the same attributes. People need to stop looking for places to invest it. Most are scams. Just like gold hold and hope for price appreciation.
People get exited when they see their investment at green, soo they sell the coins, its very hard to resist, you invest 5000 dollars and the current size of your coins is worthing 7500 dollars i would sell them, even knowing it can and will hit bigger values.
But i agree its better save then support ponzis but not all websites are ponzis.
2606  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the next halving really matter that much? on: August 14, 2016, 12:00:50 AM
At 2020 the year the next halving should happen, for sure it will be meaning a lot as i believe it will when bitcoin will hit again the 1000 dollars , and stand stable at that  price, soo recover from the past and achieve those value for me its like a restart for those who invested at bitcoin and got scared as bitcoin went to 200 dollars. Soo reach once again those 4 digits will be like making history and i will be here to see it happen.
2607  Other / Off-topic / Re: I will invest! on: August 13, 2016, 11:44:39 PM
"I would start from 0.1 BTC. If everything will be ok I pay more more money .." It looks to me that you are living in a dream, and that kind of system works only in imagination. Ok I admit, someone can hit gold mine, but how often that happen?
I don't see the point of this thread, some newbie wrote that he will invest, didn't said in what, but "if everything will be ok, he will pay more and more" well good for him. Its better to invest money he have, then to spend it on stupid things.

0.1 bitcoin is already a good amount for starting an investment, but for me if it is about investment, holding what comes to my mind.
That is the easiest investment that I can think of and effortless, but with that amount you can do some trading and if you are going to buy a good alt coin for sure you are going to have good profit.

I also agree holding bitcoins is the best investment if you have no experience of investment and trading. By holding only you are sure you wont lose your coins and at the same time its price will increase over the passage of time.
At the next halving at 2020 sure the savings would and will work, currently invest bitcoins looks like the best way to get some revenue, price of bitcoin is quite stable and under the 600 dollars, at 2018 i would start saving my bitcoins but before that i would be investing most of the coins i get.
2608  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: August 13, 2016, 11:42:27 PM
for me the safer way to growing our btcoin is building ethereum mining rig, the rate of ethereum is very interesting to me, also i can earn consistent profit each month with mining.
yeah it is very good way to grow bitcoin, but only if the ethereum mining produce enough ethereums for you.
I don't have much knowledge about mining but I heard that mining cast high quality and very expensive electricity, and most of miner got lost their money because of lack of knowledge and wrong planing.

could anyone here tell me is ethereum mining really worth?
Before you wanna to defined the ethereum is really worthed or not you can consider about the electricity in your region and for buying a mining rig and open mining calculator for eth maybe you can having a result for the mining ethereum is worthed or not in this time.

Minning ETH is only worth if you have free electricity or very cheap electricity. In my country, electricity is so expensive that i cant even think of even a New Alt coin mining whose difficulty is very low.

I would suggest safe way to grow bitcoins is trading Bitcoins with Altcoins and vice versa.

Well for us that energy is a big wall we must invest directly into bitcoin and try to trade and buy and sell altcoins, these days i see severals coins getting 10% 50% pumped soo this is a great time to make an income doing it, but its very risked to play altcoins in the short time, altcoins are for medium and long plays.
I could set a rig at my home but besides the high cost associated i dont have space and i dont like noise.
2609  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How the account pricer works on: August 13, 2016, 11:38:57 PM
Most of the traders and lenders check those for give or not the loan to a determined user, even with the account price being hyip on those, it helps a lot, i dont know if pay 0.15for hero still being a fair price, as bitcoin has almost doubled and the script hasnt been changed since the begin, atleast i believe the script need the new bitcoin value to readjust values.
It would need for the website owner to update the  account pricing since his tool is commonly used for seeing or researching for the  account  information which is  very helpful especialy to those who are always  buying an account. Pricer works on some aspects that you really want to know but other seems to unrealistic.

Thats why i say those bitcointalk account estimator is outdated, and should be corrected  sure bitcointalk accounts has some value, as the ranks are a long road till achieve the high rank of legendary, and those estimator is the base of the most lendings here as well, i dont know when those were made but for sure needs to be updated.
2610  Economy / Marketplace / Re: where can i invest my 1btc? on: August 13, 2016, 11:35:05 PM
Nowadays there are few and reputable exchanges, where there are always a pump happening all days, you should invest 10% from your portfolio with 10 crypto and play around there, sure there is a risk but its better then buy one single altcoin and loose money with it, i dont believe its possible to those 10 crypto loosing power at the same time, sometimes happen but now always.
2611  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: August 13, 2016, 11:28:06 PM

It would be good if the bitcoin can be used as a currency in some games. And people can earn that in games.

let's wait for more scaling first. if some of the big online games started using bitcoin the whole network would seize up even if they were using payments channels. at some point the coins have to come out of the game and on to the blockchain.

certain games probably have 5-10 times more than the total of current bitcoin users.
That is  for sure a great market to hit with bitcoin, making bitcoin more popular, games industry has a lot of people around them, like porn industry, both industries are great to bitcoin reach mainstream over the years.
I believe this new hasnt yet any affect into bitcoin value, as the gamers accept and use bitcoin it may change but now bitcoin is just a baby at the gamers hand, the first step has been made.
2612  Other / Archival / Re: [HIRING] excellent pay. no experience needed!! any age, anywhere. game designers/ on: August 13, 2016, 11:12:39 PM

2613  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting My First Whole Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2016, 11:10:03 PM
The thing isnt to focus at just one thing, i believe combining faucets you are able to make 100-200k satoshis daily, in the end of the month this will be 0,06btc, soo extra source, signatures has rules and limits. Also may consider invest at some bankroll casinos, even the roi time be over 1 year, the gambling has a lot bitcoins all days circulating.

Do you know how tiny that earning is though? A month's effor for just 0.06BTC (sure it may be worth a lot in the future - but not now).
Faucets are quite good though as the advert can be easily ignored, if the earnings were increased, it'd be great to use them.

Faucets cannot increase their earnings because they themselves do not earn more than they can afford to give to the users coming to their faucets, the revenues they earn from the ads are spent on the payouts of the faucet and maybe they get some profit themselves in a week, but i don't think the headaches in faucet business worth the amount you might earn weekly (for owner).

if taken into account I think the owner faucet does not have much advantage from advertising, unless they place ads google adsense to have many visitors. but the fact, enthusiasts faucet the less, even just a few people who tried using a bot to spend faucet, this could be a great loss.

Faucet owners plays all the month to try to get some profit around it, some close the doors offering great rewards (500 satoshis and above). There are bots taking a big part of faucet balance to them, soo with those they kill the system and the reward that could raise still the same if not decrease. I believe 0,06btc isnt soo small if you consider its free bitcoins, you dont have to pay them, sure those wont pay the cost of energy or internet, but its a source.
The same way captcha service is  a hard source of income but you are able to make 4-10 dollars daily spending several hours at it as well, signatures the fast free way to reach the 1 bitcoin.
2614  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Discussion]What work would you do for 1$USD per hour? on: August 13, 2016, 10:25:29 PM
Well mining eth is profitable just for some people who have low cost for kw those still able to make profit, and be able to earn 8 dollars daily doing those its amazing if you ask me, it will mean 0.40btc montly soo isnt a bad income, maybe not enought for live but a good source. I had done captcha but i would like to play some game and be able to earn such income doing it, having fun.
2615  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: BUYING FULL MEMBER ACCOUNT - 0.013 BTC BUDGET on: August 13, 2016, 09:47:16 PM
go to auctions board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=73.0
there are several auctions at there and you could bid the prices and if you were lucky you could get full member account with cheap price
How much trust-able are those accounts? Are they able to get back their accounts with some claims?

If you do your research correct you will get the account without any risk, you must ask for signed message and check if the account has more then one adress, usually the owner of the account usually are the oldest adress. There are some accounts without adress those accounts you deal at your risk.
2616  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan 0.26 payback 0.28 1 week on: August 13, 2016, 09:36:28 PM
Wow looks like a big ammount and for something that isnt soo easy to resell even if there is a market to sell such things, good lucky with this one as knigh looks like will be able to offer you a loan but for sure not those request you wanting.
2617  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.035 BTC Loan. on: August 13, 2016, 09:34:20 PM
Well be sure without a valid colateral nobody will give you a loan, getting your account even knowing yobit signature is closed for new spots at the moment, without your yobit account its useless, soo maybe if you give acess to both you can get this loan funded, im not interested into your account, as rules are one user for each signature.

Soo op you should give your yobit account for some member and your account with the signature, just if you default, if not well you can easy get back your account here and yovi. But i believe you are wanting a  loan and your source of income to repay are the earnings from the signature.
2618  Economy / Lending / Re: LOoking for a 0.05 btc loan , will repay 0.055 btc by monday. on: August 13, 2016, 09:27:30 PM
Why do you people still risk your bitcoins here? The gold rule at lending service is no colateral no loan, soo if you are donating bitcoins to others kindly send them to me as well, if the user default you will give a negative feedback, but you will be loosing 0,05btc on this joke. Kindly lend with colateral avoid loose your coins.
2619  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A slap to the FBI. Online drug sales triple after Silk Road closure on: August 12, 2016, 11:54:00 PM
Thing is everytime another Silkroad gets raided, an equally large amount of Bitcoins are confiscated by the Federal Bureau, and when that happens the Bitcoin's price falls a bit. It again falls a bit more when they put it on an auction. So afterall are they aiding the Government to have more control on the price of Bitcoin by not keeping their funds and identity safe?
Well the country can easy rebuy those, and try to control bitcoin, step by step buying and confiscating over the years, but in the end i dont believe they have interest at it, but bitcoin will be the next gold currencie over the next years, soo countries should invest at bitcoin.

I dont know if those reports are the reality or just an updated from the total of drugs being sold, usually the media changes the numbers to make people believe, who knows if bitcoin hasnt a press being paid to clean the image.
2620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Bitfinex Hacked] So , learned the lesson ? on: August 12, 2016, 11:46:58 PM
So, I've never actually been to the Bitfinex web site (or used it)
I found another pool STILL has links to them on their web site, so I clicked and had a look.

Wow are they delusional still saying this on the web site:
https://www.bitfinex.com/security_policy

Quote
Security of user information and funds is our first priority.
Every detail is analyzed to avoid security holes. We pride ourselves on being the most secure Bitcoin exchange.

Security is their priority ? any Security expert should know that almost everything online is hackable. The fact that they didn't use Cold storage to store most of the funds means that they don't really give a damn.

That was certainly quite weird. Their wallet system was a hot mess.

So I guess that Bitfinex themselves is actually all a scam, since th web site (still) says this:
Quote
Why is this method superior to the traditional pooled funds method of cold storage?

The use of this model, where each customer has a separate set of keys and wallets, allows for a much greater level of granularity at which multi-institutional security can be provided. Whilst in the past BitGo would have to treat a pooled wallet as a single unit, per-customer policies can now be enforced. Further, since we now enforce multi-institutional second factor authentication (Bitfinex will be the first factor and BitGo the second factor), attackers are required to compromise both institutions before getting funds.
i.e. both BitGo and Bitfinex had to BOTH be compromised according to their (current) web site.

If that above quote is false, then it's still a scam them making that statement.

That's an interesting point. Think it's an inside job just like the Shapeshift hack?
What happened with shapeshift, i dont know nothing related to those, did they got hacked as well? This is really insane i thinked they had reopen already with the all users loosing 35% their funds to balance the lost the hacked took.
