$650-700 (alles Mt.Gox)
2602  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CASASCIUS PHYSICAL BITCOIN - In Stock Now! (pic) on: November 20, 2013, 07:04:38 AM
Looks like my casacius coin must have been put away a little damp from when I took my flaming $100 picture and has picked up a few spots of corrosion. Anyone know the best way to clean it up?
I would say: don't even think about to clean a coin. It always comes with a loss in value. You might be able to make it more shiny but you can't increase the quality.
But also I've read about people who used brass-cleaner on Casascius coins... so you might get a different opinion of somebody else Wink

Because of the fast growing amount of traffic on our website we took some precautions and upgraded our servers. The website should be much faster now. If you are experiencing difficulties reaching our website please let us know either via email, support@bitgild.com, or this topic.
I can't access the website Sad
2604  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: November 18, 2013, 01:21:17 PM

2606  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: For sale: BRAND NEW Laptop, Motherboard and other goodies! on: November 18, 2013, 10:01:40 AM
can you give the full model number of the laptop? I find several U940s at amazon from 380 to 490 pounds
2607  Economy / Goods / Re: (UK & EU GROUP BUY 13/20) 0.1BTC Casascius Silver Coin on: November 18, 2013, 08:03:45 AM
did you get the new reduced price here? If yes (and if possible) I'd be interested in 1-2 coins Smiley
2608  Local / Suche / Re: BitCoin-Münzen on: November 11, 2013, 10:24:48 PM
Was heisst denn "keyfree"?
2609  Local / Suche / Re: BitCoin-Münzen on: November 11, 2013, 07:03:24 PM

2610  Local / Biete / Re: 1 BTC Casascius Münzen (physikalische Bitcoin Münze) on: November 11, 2013, 09:37:02 AM

Also greift zu Leute Wink

2611  Economy / Goods / Re: (UK GROUP BUY 18/20) 1BTC Gold Plated Casascius Silver Coins on: October 22, 2013, 05:26:32 PM
still one 1 BTC available?

just saw the prices have been lowered to 30.29 BTC for 20 coins.
For the new price I'd take one!

2612  Economy / Services / Re: 0.4 BTC / month free (Best payouts - NO POSTING NEEDED & Updated :) on: October 10, 2013, 12:52:39 PM
oh I think I forgot to reply here after the september payment. Will it count anyway? Smiley
2613  Economy / Goods / Re: [Group Buy] Casascius Silver 1 or 1/2 Oz Physical Bitcoins (UK/EU/WW) (ORDERED) on: September 27, 2013, 11:53:00 AM
When the 0.1BTC coins are out I'd be happy to run another group buy Smiley
The 0.1's are out and the prices for 1 and 0.5 have been lowered.
Would like to see your end-customer prices Smiley
2614  Economy / Goods / Re: [Photo] First of 2013 Casascius Silver Coins Now Available For Sale on: September 19, 2013, 07:50:19 AM
Any ETA on the 0.1's?

They are now online!  9 BTC for a roll of 20, and they turned out SWEET.
[SWEET pics of silver coins]

sweet or not, that price tag is ridiculous

+1

If they'd come with least 0.25 BTC (for the same price) I'd get a roll... I guess I have to stick to paperwallets and bullion silver.
2615  Economy / Goods / Re: Gold for 0.5BTC Casascius Coin on: September 14, 2013, 07:51:58 PM
...talk to a  lot of people, and the consensus seems to be that Gold will be $1500/oz by the end of the year.
...
always interesting to read things like this, we'll probably see prices below $1000 soon...  Roll Eyes
2616  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] ET.DIFF: Future to speculate on next difficulty change on: September 06, 2013, 10:01:59 AM
I like the idea, much more appealing than the other difficulty futures out there!

So you basically reset the whole thing after each difficulty change (so every 1.5-2 weeks).
Depending on how it goes it would be nice to see similar contracts for longer period of time as well (several months).
2617  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: September 05, 2013, 04:20:19 PM
Trading the Fund shares above face value is at the risk of the trader, don't you think? Buyer beware, and all that jazz? You are guaranteed a refund at the face value of 2.5BTC, why should the organization be responsible if you bought one for 5BTC?
well technically, both Cog.F and Cog.F2 represent 20 Cognitive shares upon delivery, so I don't see it unfair joining both contracts and funds. Cog.F holders have the early bird advantage (and already had to show a lot of patience).
It would be rather disappointing for investors getting a 2.5 BTC refund after having waited 6 months and then having the possibility to jump on Cog.F2 for double the price.

disclaimer: I own 1 (one) share of Cog.F Wink

2619  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: PHYSICAL PRIMECOINS!!! on: August 24, 2013, 11:12:28 AM
Overpriced? This is the first physical primecoin. He/she could've put the price up to 2 BTC's. If you don't want it, don't buy it.
Of course he can ask whatever he wants. And there are probably even people who'd buy it for 2 BTC...
Also I like the design of the coin, but wouldn't spend more than silver+embedded coins+a reasonable markup.

This not only regards this thread/coin, there are many first physical $somethings these days. Buyers should just be aware that they get an item which is worth the material + the coins on it (in any doubt the coins only if they can trust the producer/seller).
It seems everybody wants to get the next potential "Casascius Series 1 coin", but I doubt that any of these newly released coins ever will be worth more than what the initial price was for them.
2620  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: PHYSICAL PRIMECOINS!!! on: August 24, 2013, 10:00:55 AM
11 XPM = ca 0.08 BTC

1.5 BTC for this item is so overpriced. If we assume the silver is 0.25 BTC then you ask for more than 400% of what this coin is actually worth...

And I thought more physical coin competition would actually lower the price...
