$650-700 (alles Mt.Gox)

Looks like my casacius coin must have been put away a little damp from when I took my flaming $100 picture and has picked up a few spots of corrosion. Anyone know the best way to clean it up?
I would say: don't even think about to clean a coin. It always comes with a loss in value. You might be able to make it more shiny but you can't increase the quality. But also I've read about people who used brass-cleaner on Casascius coins... so you might get a different opinion of somebody else ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Was heisst denn "keyfree"?

still one 1 BTC available?
just saw the prices have been lowered to 30.29 BTC for 20 coins. For the new price I'd take one!

When the 0.1 BTC coins are out I'd be happy to run another group buy ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The 0.1's are out and the prices for 1 and 0.5 have been lowered. Would like to see your end-customer prices ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Any ETA on the 0.1's?
They are now online! 9 BTC for a roll of 20, and they turned out SWEET. [SWEET pics of silver coins] sweet or not, that price tag is ridiculous +1 If they'd come with least 0.25 BTC (for the same price) I'd get a roll... I guess I have to stick to paperwallets and bullion silver.

...talk to a lot of people, and the consensus seems to be that Gold will be $1500/oz by the end of the year. ...
always interesting to read things like this, we'll probably see prices below $1000 soon... ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

I like the idea, much more appealing than the other difficulty futures out there!
So you basically reset the whole thing after each difficulty change (so every 1.5-2 weeks). Depending on how it goes it would be nice to see similar contracts for longer period of time as well (several months).

Trading the Fund shares above face value is at the risk of the trader, don't you think? Buyer beware, and all that jazz? You are guaranteed a refund at the face value of 2.5BTC, why should the organization be responsible if you bought one for 5BTC?
well technically, both Cog.F and Cog.F2 represent 20 Cognitive shares upon delivery, so I don't see it unfair joining both contracts and funds. Cog.F holders have the early bird advantage (and already had to show a lot of patience). It would be rather disappointing for investors getting a 2.5 BTC refund after having waited 6 months and then having the possibility to jump on Cog.F2 for double the price. disclaimer: I own 1 (one) share of Cog.F ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Overpriced? This is the first physical primecoin. He/she could've put the price up to 2 BTC's. If you don't want it, don't buy it.
Of course he can ask whatever he wants. And there are probably even people who'd buy it for 2 BTC... Also I like the design of the coin, but wouldn't spend more than silver+embedded coins+ a reasonable markup. This not only regards this thread/coin, there are many first physical $somethings these days. Buyers should just be aware that they get an item which is worth the material + the coins on it (in any doubt the coins only if they can trust the producer/seller). It seems everybody wants to get the next potential "Casascius Series 1 coin", but I doubt that any of these newly released coins ever will be worth more than what the initial price was for them.

11 XPM = ca 0.08 BTC
1.5 BTC for this item is so overpriced. If we assume the silver is 0.25 BTC then you ask for more than 400% of what this coin is actually worth...
And I thought more physical coin competition would actually lower the price...
