I'll buy it for spot gold price and for the 1 BTC ... Personally I think the coin is worthless, anyone can start creating these and selling them.
lol way to thread crap. You can't even buy cheap bullion for spot. And if it's worthless, then why did you put a price to it? Agreed, I would place this in the same category as a nice 1oz gold proof coin, defo a higher premium than a regular bullion coin (+ btc price) and defo worth more than spot lol.

WoodCollector seems to be very vague and hasn't directly answered the question in the original accusation.
Are his pieces hand carved as he originally stated or are they done by laser.

|
|
Are you serious ? 14k dollars , this is too expensive.
90% of the cost was due to the cost of the wood. The rest was for the work hours he put on it. He could've just bought some shitty plywood but that was not what the buyer asked for. If this is the same type of wood im not seeing anything near $14k - https://www.gilmerwood.com/items.php?species=Pink+Ivory&CID=38p.s. are you saying that at 90% the wood alone cost $12,600

I would say that what he is doing is dishonest if he is lying about how he produces his art.
Absolutely. Just imagine me digitally printing something on canvas, then smearing some transparent varnish over it and calling that a hand-painted picture. I do however think there would still be a market for his work if he had previously disclosed how he makes his art. I have somewhat thought about buying a piece from him.
Sure, there's definitely a market for that. It's nice work, after all. Does anyone have any kind of estimate as to the price difference between what he would generally be able to sell his work for if these facts were previously disclosed verses what he actually sold for?
Somewhere on the order of 2 magnitudes, i.e. 50$ instead of $5000. One piece sold for $14,000 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=864472

Interesting challenge, looking forward to the response Why question something that is good? Because some people have paid up to $14,000 for the end results. Knew nothing about wood laser engraving but have to admit the end results look very similar -

28BTC.
Thank you for your offer but too low for me to accept sorry. Modern panda's without shipping would cost 29.16 BTChttps://autrading.co.uk/home.php?cat=254I think a 6 BTC premium for Panda's that are nearly 30 years old, 25 yr old, 10yr old etc and still in mint packaging is fair.

Guys just to let you know after I met my lawyer and I spoke with feds they told me to send me a photocopy of my ID.
It was sent to him.
We are 100% certain he will not release funds and he will find a new excuse.
I report this post and ask moderators to ban his ass from this board.
This guy is a scam artist. He first said he had not picked up then he said I am someone who steals identity then he requires a form of an ID and in the end he will make up a new excuse to not send funds.
I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported me.
All this for $488, I would have thought meeting your lawyer would cost more than this. The reality is your not going to get the funds, many of us have been scammed at one time or another on here and as hard as it is you have to accept it and chalk it up as a lesson in life to be more careful next time you deal with someone.

I was looking to purchase silver and came across a website called Amagi Metals. I have never purchased from them before but it looked like a good reputable website. I ordered 100oz silver at what i thought was a good price using my credit card. Thank goodness i did not use bitcoin because this company is full of excuses for shipping delays. I placed my order Dec 15 2014. I was in no particular hurry but after Dec 25 I called to find the status, I was told it would be shipped 1 week from today. I said OK . When nothing showed up as of Jan 15 2015 i called again and was told it would be shipped today .. OK then but wait.. later that evening i got a call from Jillian , Operations Manager and WOW was I blown away , she took a adversarial position with me right away. Telling me i was mis-informed and my order was not shipping today that it wouldn't ship for another week , and if i was not happy about that i could get a refund on my order but have to pay a $20.00 administration fee.. or i could do a dispute with the credit card company.. WOW that's no way to run a company..
I wanted to do my part on informing the public of my experience and what i believe is a outrageous way to run a business..
Please check your correspondence with our customer service staff. Your order has been taken care of. Thank you for your feedback. Not really the point, other (potential)customers probably want to know why it took you a month to ship 100oz of silver?
