2601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Newbie needs help on: March 23, 2022, 09:15:16 PM
Thanks for the correction and you're totally right it takes a day for  1 sat/byte to be confirmed. I used buy bitcoin worldwide fee calculator but I forgot to change the number of input and output transactions.
You are again wrong. Currently, transactions paying 1 sat/vbyte can get confirmed much faster. There is no need to wait a day.
Also, transactions are prioritized based on the fee paid per vbyte, not byte. And as long as you are talking about sat/vbyte, number of inputs and outputs have no effect on confirmation time.
2602  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin sent to me but not received? What is this ? Help please on: March 23, 2022, 01:45:40 PM
I’m not sure if I’m seeing it correctly, but looking at the date/time information in the TXs, it looks like the sender tried to send some Sats before he actually got the first confirmation for receiving them, thus invalidating the subsequent TX shown in the OP.
Most probably, the sender abused the RBF feature.
Below are the steps to do so.

1. Send bitcoin from address A to address B and flag the transaction as RBF.
2. Send the fund from address B to address C while the transaction from address A to address B is still unconfirmed.
3. Bump the fee of the transaction made from address A to address B.

Now, the transaction from address A to address B has a new hash. This makes the transaction from address B to address C invalid.

This is why we see that the transaction sending 0.007 from bc1q7l347h... has been made before the transaction sending that fund to it.
In fact, the 0.007 BTC sent from bc1q7l347h... in the transaction shared by OP isn't that 0.007 BTC received in this transaction at all.
That 0.007 BTC had been received in another transaction which is invalid now.
2603  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin sent to me but not received? What is this ? Help please on: March 23, 2022, 12:20:26 PM
This looks like a double-spend. The funds were sent elsewhere with higher fees:
The fund hasn't been sent to anywhere else.
In the transaction shared by OP, 0.007 BTC was supposed to be spent from bc1q7l347h9yp6heax5dsgr7llelnznhz4eyg7uvmp.
As seen in the blockchain, there is no outgoing transaction from this address at all and the 0.007 BTC is still in that address.
The transaction in question was invalidated, probably because the parent was invalidated, not because that 0.007 BTC was double-spent.
2604  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have 3 important questions on: March 23, 2022, 10:12:03 AM
--------------
Let's say I have broadcast two transactions. They are spending same UTXOs and both are still unconfirmed.
Miners are free to include any of transactions and there's nothing to stop them. They can include the one made later even if it's paying lower fee. They can also ignore the one paying higher fee even if it has been made earlier. They can include any of the transactions regardless of whether the original one (the one made earlier) has been marked as RBF or not.

Although miners are free to include any of the transactions, they usually use the rules mentioned in BIP125 standard.
According to BIP125 standard, the original transaction can be replaced by a new one if it has been marked as RBF, the replacement transaction spends at least one of inputs of the original transaction and pays a higher transaction fee.

Again, miners are not forced to follow the rules mentioned in BIP125 standard. But they usually do so and that's why I said "If your transaction hasn't been marked as RBF, it's very unlikely that you succeed in replacing that with a new transaction spending same input(s)."
A miner can break the standard rules for any reason. For example, because it's their own transaction or because they have been paid by someone.
2605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have 3 important questions on: March 22, 2022, 09:27:38 PM
As long as a tx isn’t confirmed, you have full control over it. ...........
This isn't always true. You have full control over the inputs of an unconfirmed transaction only if the transaction has been marked as RBF.
If your transaction hasn't been marked as RBF, it's very unlikely that you succeed in replacing that with a new transaction spending same input(s).
Nodes usually reject any transaction spending UTXOs that have already been spent in a non-RBF transaction, even if the original transaction is still unconfirmed and you have paid a very higher fee for the new transaction.
2606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Wallets not Metamask on: March 22, 2022, 07:39:24 PM
You don't have to use Metamask as an extension on browsers like Chrome and Firefox. Instead of that, you can install Metamask application on your mobile phone. You can also use its own browser when you need to connect your wallet to a platform.
Metamask application is available for both IOS and Android users.
2607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT Sending Fees on: March 22, 2022, 07:24:25 PM
What exchange can I get Usdt from the Binance Smart Chain or Tron if the only exchanges I can use is coinbase and gemini?
According to this article, seems that USDT isn't available on Gemini at all. Instead of USDT, they have their own stable coin which is Gemini dollar (GUSD).
And according to this guide, tether is available on coinbase. But they only support ethereum chain.
So, if you want to have USDT on Tron or binance smart chain, you have to use another exchange.
2608  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet that supports BTC on PC (Extension) on: March 22, 2022, 03:10:48 PM
I just downloaded and tested it?
but why does it say (expires about 24 hours) is this wallet only valid 24 hours from now?
Addresses do not expire. Any address generated by your wallet can be used forever.
That's the request which is expired, not the bitcoin address.

Note that you don't even need to make a request. For receiving bitcoin, you can go to "Addresses" tab and pick an address from the list displayed there.
If "Addresses" tab is not available, click on "View" at top of the window and select "Show addresses".

I just did my first "FUN tokens lock" and now I read that I have 16 free Wheel of Fortune spins daily.
For receiving wheel of fortune spins, you don't have to lock your FUN tokens. Holding them is enough. The purpose of locking FUN tokens is to receive interest.
Also, I am sure you don't have 16 spins per day. For getting 16 spins daily, you must hold 500,000 FUN tokens for at least 360 days.
2610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have BinanceChainNativeToken in Kucoin, can I withdraw to BEP2 and BEP20 too? on: March 22, 2022, 11:05:09 AM
BEP20 refers to tokens on Binance Smart chain. BEP2 refers to tokens on Binance chain.
Note that since BEP20 and BEP2 tokens have different address format, the withdrawal won't be processed at all if you select a wrong chain.
BEP20 addresses start with 0x and BEP2 addresses start with bnb.

I am aksing because in this time, it time, BNB is only on one blockchain...
You are right. But binance have issued BNB on their smart chain too. That's pegged to BNB on binance chain.
2611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT Sending Fees on: March 22, 2022, 09:29:46 AM
So how many total USDT networks are there?
You can see the list of USDT networks on Coingecko or Coinmarketcap.

On Coingecko, click on 3-dots button in front of "Contract".
On Coinmarketcap, click on "More" button under "Contracts".

Then there is talk about BUSD?  BUSD isn't tether correct?
BUSD is another stablecoin which is pegged to dollar too. It has been issued in partnership between Paxos and Binance.

Your issue is completely different from OP's problem and you should have created a new topic.

Anyway, this transaction hasn't been broadcast to the network.
Since freewallet is a custodial service, they have full control over your fund and the only thing you can is to contact their support and ask them why they haven't broadcast your transaction.
2613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I Really need someone help with Electrum NOOB ALERT on: March 21, 2022, 01:25:34 PM
so technically the websites admins when they read my support ticket should either give me them back or find where they've gone and put them in my wallet?
Since you said that you have sent the fund to the correct address, yes. Now they have full control over that fund and no one else can help you. It all depends on how they deal with the situation.
In the case they don't intend to scam you, they should credit your balance or at least send back the fund to you.
2614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I Really need someone help with Electrum NOOB ALERT on: March 21, 2022, 12:59:20 PM
Electrum highlights your receiving addresses in green. (Note that change addresses are highlighted in yellow and are yours as well.)
The screenshot your provided (which corresponds to this transaction) shows that the fund has been sent from bc1qvxgcutklfpnp0fhkcxnhsy2kmk873zh574v5dw to 37tAt87dYKiPZg5mUJewF9FWWbnwsCwVf1.

bc1qvxgc... is yours and is highlighted in green.
37tAt87d... isn't yours and isn't highlighted.
2615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I Really need someone help with Electrum NOOB ALERT on: March 21, 2022, 12:08:36 PM
ive left a support ticket explaining and said i have screenshots of proof i sent my btc to the wallet address u provided me
No need to provide any screenshot.
Just share the transaction ID with them. That's enough.
All bitcoin transactions are public and anyone is able to check details of a transaction with only having its transaction ID.

The transaction ID for the transaction in question is:

but then started asking me to pay them money to withdraw my profit.
As stated by NeuroticFish, you've been scammed. Any service asking you to make a deposit to be able to make withdrawal is a scam and shouldn't be trusted.
Also note that the website in question has been registered only 15 days ago. Don't waste more time and money on this website.

The bc1qvxgcutklfpnp0fhkcxnhsy2kmk873zh574v5dw (which is your address) received 0.00171321 BTC in this transaction.
The total fund was sent to 37tAt87dYKiPZg5mUJewF9FWWbnwsCwVf1 in another transaction.
Both transactions are shown in electrum too.

Where did you get the 37tAt87... from? As it has a different format, it can't be from the same wallet.
2618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I Really need someone help with Electrum NOOB ALERT on: March 21, 2022, 10:15:38 AM
According to the image you shared, you spent 0.00171321 in your last transaction and the balance is now zero. Seems that the fund has been sent to an address which isn't owned by you.
Can you please share a screenshot from "Addresses" tab and post the address you sent the 0.0017132 BTC to?
As mentioned by mocacinno, with posting your bitcoin address, you may damage your privacy. But don't worry about your security. No one can steal your fund just with knowing your bitcoin address.
2619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT Sending Fees on: March 21, 2022, 09:04:22 AM
Now I want to send USDT to someone.  If the USDT is ETH, how much fees do I have to pay?
As already stated in previous posts, the fee required for making  transaction depends on network state. The more busy the network, the higher fee you have to pay.

Just note that if you send USDT from your own wallet, you don't pay the fee in USDT. You have to pay the transaction fee in ETH.
So, if you have USDT in an address without ETH and you want to make a transaction, you first have to send ETH to that address. This causes you to spend more money. Because you have to pay for two transactions. A transaction for sending ETH to your own address and another transaction for sending USDT.
2620  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: - Blockchain.com - Reward account blocked and crypto staking gone on: March 19, 2022, 11:46:30 PM
it should be a decentralized wallet like Exodus or Electrum where you can control all the private keys.
If you use blockchain.com as a wallet, it also gives you access you to all your private keys. You don't have access to the private keys if you use it for trading or getting interest, which is normal.
The biggest problem with blockchain.com is that it's close source and there is no way to know whether they have access to your keys or not.

Exodus is also close-source and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use it, especially for holding big amounts.
