3201  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Transaction Invalid on: April 18, 2021, 08:04:59 PM
appreciate the help and figuring out that it was an invalid transaction.
I found your transaction.
As stated by o_e_l_e_o, it's not invalid. None of inputs have been double-spent.
I just accelerated your transaction using ViaBtc Accelerator. There's a chance your transaction will be confirmed in a few hours.
3202  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Unconfirmed Tsx please someone help. on: April 18, 2021, 05:13:35 PM
is it possible to upgrade for this unconfirmed tsx to segWit-Bech32?
No.
It's recommended to hold your coins in segwit addresses to pay lower fee when you make a transaction. As your fund is now in a legacy address (an address starting with 1), there is no way to benefit the discount.
From now on, try to use segwit addresses for holding your bitcoin.

There are two types of segwit addresses.
1. Native segwit (Bech32): addresses starting with bc1
2. Nested segwit (P2SH): addresses starting with 3*

*Just note that not all addresses starting with 3 are segwit. Multisig addresses start with 3 as well.
3203  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: NEWBI HERE. help please on: April 18, 2021, 09:16:25 AM
I am quite sure that replace-by-fee doesn't allow the sender to change the amounts being broadcasted. You can change the miner fees and the receiving address, but you are still spending the same UTXO. Therefore, if the original sum was 0.0055 mBTC, it has to stay 0.0055 mBTC. D
You can change the amount by adding more UTXO(s) or removing UTXO(s).

Let's say the original transaction is as follows.

Input A -------> Output A
Input B

This transaction can be replaced by following transactions.

Input A -------> Output B  (higher fee)

Input A
Input B -------> Output B  (higher fee)
Input C

Input A -------> Output B  (higher fee)
Input C

Could you explain your calculations hosseinimr93?
Why do you take 0.5/10,000 and not 1/10,000 ? I don't get it.
AFAIK it's wrong.
The chance of hitting 10,000 is not 1 in 10,000. That's 0.5 in 10,000.
Every time you play free roll, some calculations are done and a decimal number between 0 and 10,000 is obtained. The decimal number is rounded to the nearest integer.
For hitting 10,000, the decimal number needs to be between 9,999.50 and 10,000.

The chance of never hitting 10,000 in 10,000 rolls is (1- 0.00005)10,000 = 0.607 = 60.7%

The chance of  hitting 10,000 at least one time in 10,000 rolls is 1 - 60.7 = 39.3%

The weird thing about hitting that one in a ten thousand deal is the fact that people think in 10k tries you can get one.
Correct. The probability of winning the 200 dollar prize in 10,000 rolls is only 39.3%

1- (1- (0.5/10,000))10,0000 = 0.393 = 39.3%
3206  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Restoring seed problem on: April 16, 2021, 05:16:48 PM
I don't think Bitcoin.com uses any nonstandard derivation path and OP stated that it's BIP44. The built in function should serve OP just fine and won't be leaking that much privacy nor add any extra complexity.
I tested that.
I generated a seed phrase using bitcoin.com wallet and imported it into electrum. I got same addresses without any trouble.
The derivation path is m/44'/0'/0'.
3207  Economy / Exchanges / Re: question about Flexible Savings 5.97% (USDT) on: April 16, 2021, 05:05:24 PM
5.97% 7-day APY means that you will receive 5.97% profit annually and the interest is paid every 7 days.

The profit you will get every 7 days:

(1.0597)(7/365) - 1 = 0.00111 = 0.111%

after 7 day, how much I receive ? please tell me
$0.666
3208  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Restoring seed problem on: April 16, 2021, 03:22:15 PM
Electrum follows the BIP39 standard and its own seed generation standard. I'm not sure, but I don't think that bitcoin.com follows any of them (surely not the last one).
I just installed bitcoin.com wallet on an android phone just to see how it works.
It does generate BIP39 seed phrase.

Below is the seed I just generated using bitcoin.com

So I should just select BIP39 then?
Yes.
And check "legacy (p2pkh)" in the next step.
3209  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Lost coins when trying to receive.. on: April 12, 2021, 10:11:43 PM
First of all let me assure you that there's nothing to worry about in the case you have sent the fund to the correct address. You can recover your bitcoin, even without any need to bitcoin core and having the whole blockchain.
If you have sent the fund to correct address, you can export the private key of the address you sent the fund to and import it into another wallet like electrum.

Now let's go to zero balance issue.
Does bitcoin core run when you open Armory? Does Armory says "connected" at bottom right corner of the window? Or it says "Node offline"?
Perhaps, Armory isn't connected to bitcoin core properly.
3210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin BTC, mBTC, μBTC, Satoshi & Altcoins Wallet that can be trusted on: April 12, 2021, 06:58:23 PM
Satoshi = 0.00000001 BTC
You can't find a wallet being able to receive 1 satoshi. Nodes don't allow that.

The minimum amount of bitcoin you can send is 547 satoshi.
Any transaction including outputs worth less than 547 satoshi is considered as dust and is rejected by nodes.
The purpose of this limitation is to prevent attackers from spamming the network.

I received a free spin email 21 hours ago and when I just now tried to use it, it said the free spin had expired...
Are you sure that you haven't already claimed that free spin?

The "This free spin has expired..." message is displayed in two cases.
    1. You click on the banner more than 48 hours after you receive the email.
    2. You have already claimed the free spin.

Click on "Multiply BTC" at top of the page and scroll down to see your roll history. Check time of the last WOF you played.
3212  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: 2 addresses? one a mystery? on: April 10, 2021, 08:28:04 PM
3MxaTKLroUitGF8yftF5VQTEsdtm26xb3Z is your change address. This means that the address is used for receiving the remaining balance of selected UTXOs.

Let's say you have received 1 BTC in a transaction and you want to send 0.4 BTC to address A.
You can't send the 0.4 BTC without touching the other 0.6 BTC. Therefore, your wallet sends 0.4 BTC to address A and sends 0.6 BTC (- fee) to your change address.
Note that you own 3MxaTKLroUitGF8yftF5VQTEsdtm26xb3Z as well.
3213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 09, 2021, 09:10:47 PM
this is new, I have used LTC a few times, but I have never experienced transaction fees as low as you said
You can use jochen-hoenicke website to check the fees on Litecoin blockchain.
As shown in the past week graph, total size of unconfirmed transactions paying 0.00000001 LTC /byte has always been less than 1 MB.
3214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 09, 2021, 08:54:36 PM
$0.224 is a very low fee, even on a custodial exchange that have high fee. This will still be much more lower on noncustododial wallets.
Yes, using a non-custodial wallet, you can pay only 0.00000001 LTC/byte as transaction fee and get confirmation in the next block
A transaction with 1 input and 2 outputs is only 217 bytes. So, it's possible to get a very fast confirmation with paying only 0.00000217 LTC = 0.0005 dollar.
The transaction fee can be even lower if you use segwit addresses (addresses starting with M).
3215  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: CPFP on: April 09, 2021, 08:10:27 PM
You mean as a sender and rbf is not possible i can use cpfp also but must include a change utxo?! Does this change utxo has to be the initial change address from the parent transaction? Doesnt it? If i sent with max amount is a cpfp even possible as sender?
The general rule is that, for implementing CPFP, you need to have control over one of outputs of the unconfirmed transaction.
If you you send the entire balance of inputs to another person, you can't implement CPFP.
If you don't send the entire balance, your transaction will include a change address and you will be able to implement CPFP.

Let's say you send bitcoin from address A to address B. (You have control over address A and have no control over address B)
If you haven't sent the total balance, your transaction will be as follows.

Address A -----> Address B
                         Address C

Where address C is your change address and contains the remaining balance of address A.

CPPF can be implemented by owner of address B and owner of address C (you).
3216  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bilaxy has the highest withdrawal fee on: April 09, 2021, 02:56:57 PM
Both tokens you were trying to withdraw (BAT and USDT) are ERC20 tokens. This means that that don't have their own blockchain and are running on ethereum blockchain.
Sending an ERC20 token is even more expensive than sending Ethereum. Because the transaction needs to spend more gas due to larger size of data.

I just visited Bilaxy to check networks they support for withdrawing USDT. They support Tron network as well.
For withdrawing USDT on Tron network, you must select "TRC20" option.
The fee they get for withdrawing USDT on Tron network is 2 USDT and the minimum withdrawal amount is 5 USDT.

When will the winnings of the PSG vs Chelsea match bets be settled?
PSG vs Chelsea?
The last time Chelsea and PSG played against each other was about 5 years ago in 2015-16 champions league.
The last game of Chelsea was against Porto and the last game of PSG was against Bayern. Both games have been ended and prizes have been given to winners.

I think in total I deposited around 0.1 BTC to freebitco.in.
If you want to know the exact amount of bitcoin you deposited so far, you can check that on the website.
To do so, click on "More" at top of the page. Select "Stats" and then click on "Personal Stats"
3220  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.1.1 version changes to make note of on: April 05, 2021, 09:50:42 PM
Repeating: my thought is to go offline during this operation, but some here may disagree.
By disconnecting your internet, you don't really make your wallet more secure.
It's advisable to run electrum on an air-gapped computer. This means that you should use a computer which has always been offline and will never get online.
