I will get back with results

which smos miner are you using for this Phil? Thanks, Greg

claymore  8.1     use  -ethi 6 -dcri 25      first  and slowly increase   maybe   8 and 30   then 10 and 40  watch your temps  and power

I calculated this morning that about a -dcri of 55 has the highest profitability of both eth+dcr (default eth intensity). Now is anyone mining only DCR with  a DCR miner? which miner?

sgminer v5.5

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1799555.msg18340931#msg18340931

I got as high as 21000 on this  with 7.1 amps at 240 volts. -----------this was nice hash could be off if payers are high

on clay  I am at 12800 dcr  and 365 eth with 10.0 amps at 240 volts   settings  of 14 + 70

on clay I am at ...12260 dcr and ....376   eth  with 10.0 amps at 240 volts  settings of 13  + 65

on clay I am at  .....11602 dcr and ....386.6 eth  with  10.0 amps at 240 volts  settings of 12 + 60

on clay I am at ----- 11610      dcr and ------ 390     eth with  10  amps at 240 volts settings of 13 + 60

on clay I am at ----10900 dcr and --------- 393 eth with 9.9 amps at 240 volts settings of 10 + 55  these seem good

I drop about 28mh for the 16 gpus  and gain 10900 dcr

Depends I can do -ethi 16. And  -dcri 80

Which is max max.

But I reduced all my four card rigs to two gpus.  To get ready for newer. gpus and to prep for my summer rate change.

You also need better CPU to do it.

If I can do this for two weeks I would be pleased.

I lose  about 75mh from eth

and get about 12000 for decred

on 16   80 =   max   max

@ deadsix thanks to LoneRangir

  I figured it out.
A little more info  on supernova  setup a worker

your user name and a worker name

deadsix.test
deadsix.test2

also take you polinex address for decred  and  go to settings  put the address there and a pay out level  say .5 dcr

the coins will go to polinex when you reach .5 dcr

Can someone paste their Claymores string for DCR here? I have tried a bunch of pools and all DCR shares get rejected, while Eth is mined just fine. Even Sia or Pascal give no issues.

cmd /K EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethpool.org:3333 -epool user.name -epsw x -tt 75 -fanmax 75 -fanmin 65 -dpool dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal worker.name -dpsw x -allpools 1

thanks  is this in  windows 10 or 7?

I can no longer do dual  claymore with eth and decred

Truly amazing numbers.

I am doing decred to nicehash  16 cards  all rx 480 8gb

power used 7.1 amps  at 240 volts that is  1704 watts

I am earning .037 btc with that per day

1704 watts of s-9 =  about 15th  which earns  about 0.00858

so 4x  the earning power  for the same power!!!

I need to prep for the move to the solar array.

I just can't mine a lot in house from May to October

Rates jump from 12.7 to 16.7

When you adjust heat in the winter discount my cost is 9-10 cents

When you adjust cooling the summer added cost gets me up to 19 cents.

This summer maybe 1 rig three cards the rest at the solar array.

I hate this time of the year as I have to wind down. From 22 amps to 3 amps or less.

In texas where I live we have deregulation of electric companies.  I just signed up for a 2 year contract renewal at .068 cents a kwh.  You all cant do that to stabilize cost?  www.powertochoose.com is a great site.

NJ  does not approach those numbers.  The array deal with forum member buysolar  does work for me.

Now with smOS and srr  the gpu gear should work out.
26031  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience is now dabbling with 16nm ASICs for new designs on: March 26, 2017, 04:04:46 AM
I did it, never received it, got a refund, bought a 10GH AM Blade with that money, and turned it into 2TH within 8 months.

If the Bitfury stick works as expected, it'll take a stout hub but it'd run 2/3 of an S1 by itself. I like that the 2Pac will push as much hash as an AM Cube.

Am cubes wow pre s1

Fried cat

I had four of them.

Sold them got some s1s.

Some guy hmm maybe it was you helped my under volt them to 180 watts and 140 hash.

I am looking forward to the bf sticks

okay  this is the same as the 4mh bug on windows 7 and windows 10.

so do you run this headless?

I have a monitor  with hdmi and dvi jacks.

try plugging the gear into a monitor.

especially the specific   gpu .

once you plug it in boot once  take a look  at what happens.

if that does not work.

the msi rx 470  with no bios flashing (truly a mistake for most miners to flash )

will run at
1050   core
1650   memory
 0       powerstage
80      temp
60      fan

did you flash bios?   if so good luck since bios flashing can cause a lot of issues

kinda off topic for a second
has anyone lended btc at poloneix?
if you havent they are paying a dumb amount of interest rates lately

Have you tried ?
I might test this feature to see how it works.
What are the usual rates ? and what are the the very high rates you saw recently ?

For a few weeks now it's been .18 to .3 interest rates per day
Which in investment terms means big dollars

last summer I was on an exchange doing that and a massive hack happened cost me about 1 btc

some repayment was done and I lost around 200 usd.

The current AMD cards that can do 440-470 plus sols/s are R9 Nano, Fury X, Fury X+

The key thing about these range of cards is HBM memory.

If Vega/RX5XX cards do come with HBM then we may have AMD cards that tops 1080s or 1070s, at least for ZEC mining.

Do note that pricing wise, R9 Nanos, Fury X etc... although expensive still -- it is cheaper than 1080s or 1070s

However, as per discussed when Vega comes out, NVIDIA will push out the 1080ti to overtake AMD again...

I believe that the 1080ti is out already if I am not mistaken.

Other than Coinbase what other reputable site will convert BTC to USD for you?  I feel I need to diversify a little.

Not sure and I need a USA based site.  I would like to feel safe  coinbase is insured  and I have 3 to 10 coins in it.

Any usa site with real Insurance?

Is coinbase insured?
FDIC won't insure digital assets of any kind

https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1662379-how-is-coinbase-insured-

The usd wallet has 250,000 insurance  FDIC

the coins are:

"The insurance policy covers any losses resulting from a breach of Coinbase’s physical security, cyber security, or by employee theft. The policy is provided by a syndicate of insurers through Lloyd’s of London."

So a full hack is covered by Lloyd's
