2621  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wont pay bounty and keep refused to answear " Citizen Finance " on: July 24, 2021, 07:55:50 PM
Opening a BTT to accuse a project who has paid 4 of 6 campaign of scam is really lame. So, they can not make their own verification when you guys are trying to scam them with multiple address. There is an evidence that 6 payments went to a single wallet yet you come here to rant nonsense. If i were the project manager, I won't pay you anymore for this stupid thread

Prove: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LzG9alBgdNy5QPDf9Ih7S4mqSfS5KNpF/view
WTF?
Is that what you call proof? You will need to do more than that.

How long does it take to investigate and uncover a bounty cheat? Weeks?
Do other innocent people have to pay the price just because the bounty cheat enrolled in the campaign?

I didn't like the way they replied to irfan_pak10 not only because they didn't tell when they will release payments but also because of the arrogant tone.
"tell your hunters" really!! Those bounty hunters aren't asking for donations. They did their part of the deal and the project team have to pay them on time.
I believe BM gave them the final spreadsheet all they have to do is to send the coins according to the number of stakes. How long is that supposed to take!
Talk about it. What an absurd and ungrateful bunch of twerps. People took their time to campaign for them and look how they repay them  Angry
2622  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wont pay bounty and keep refused to answear " Citizen Finance " on: July 24, 2021, 08:53:21 AM
irfan_pak10 seems to the person who managed the bounty campaign. Have you tried to send him a PM in regard to the issue of payments? He is active.

I still don't understand why some projects decide not pay bounty hunters the tokens they owe them. I mean, they are just worthless tokens created out of nowhere. So why is it so hard for them?
2623  Other / Meta / Re: NFT Board Soon? on: July 24, 2021, 04:08:49 AM
Babel fish is an NFT built on rootstock which is smart contract built on bitcoin blockchain side chain. Sovryn is likely to offer such feature soon.
Regardless, I believe they (Babel fish and sovryn) will still remain tokens or altcoins  Smiley They will be dependent on another blockchain.

Honestly, I haven't followed the NFT or DeFi craze this bull run. Maybe because I have something telling me I expect the hype to die out, like it happened to ICOs/IEOs/IDOs/STOs in the bear market that followed the 2017 bull market.
2624  Economy / Reputation / Re: "Yes, that's right" - the hallmarks of a farmed account from member "apa don" on: July 23, 2021, 09:59:13 PM
I see that a lot of posts were deleted by him. Posts made per post deleted: 298 (Rank: >1000th)
This may indicate that the user had some kind of compromising information that he tried to hide. Nevertheless, his ETH address: 0x22c88Eb12703FbBE3F08C957d2d9B978CA92F500 detects connections between at least two accounts that are currently active and subscribed to one bounty company. They have the same style of writing, starting with consent.
I don't have enough time now to accuse them of cheating. But I think this account is also an alternative to those two.
JollyGood, good find. And as we can see, this account is not outraged by its tag, as it still hasn't replied in this thread. And this can be understood as consent.

Yes, that's right   Grin there's something similar about the accounts, especially the timing of the first password changes. I think there are many more connected stolen than just these three.

1. apa don - First password change 11/14/2018 2:33:07 PM
2. fadil46 - First password change 11/14/2018 7:07:53 AM

2625  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do you believe on signals? on: July 23, 2021, 09:28:37 PM
Trading signals are a complete waste of time. Whether free or paid. You should avoid them at all costs. It's the very people who follow signals who end up getting used for pump and dump schemes.

Trading signals and similar to "fixed match bets". None of them is true.
2626  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for active Reddit user on: July 20, 2021, 02:13:17 PM
Got a 4-year-old Reddit account with karma of about 353, way less than the required limit due to inactivity at times. If it's OK, I will send you the link, and you review it.
I would also like to know an overview of the types of tasks that one will have to do and if possible which project/company is going to be promoted  Wink

I think here _  symbol made more confusion in this case. "star" plus _ in combination can be considered similar to usernames.
But the feedback much is a neutral was uncalled-for. Anyone who would confuse the 2 names would have to be super dumb. Some people have closely similar names here, and it doesn't mean they are trying to impersonate anyone.

Initially when I was joining the forum, I wanted to register using "Tash" but it was already taken, so I used "JeromeTash". It doesn't mean I had any ill intentions like trying to impersonate the user who had already taken the Tash name, and I don't think It would be necessary for anyone to leave a tag on any of the accounts for that matter.

Is it just my eyes, or you changed your forum username from lower case to upper case? I never paid close attention to the caps on the name before, but today when I saw it. I kind of felt there was some change, though not so sure.

Is it possible for one to do so too, or it's only on request from the admin?
2629  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: btc enquiry on: July 18, 2021, 08:59:50 PM
Very huge difference.

Bitcoin is the Real BTCitcoin (BTC) while Bitcoin cash (BCH)is a hard fork of Bitcoin. It's a shitcoin whose greedy and scam owners created to rival BTCitcoin and to confuse newbies into believing that it's the real bitcoin, yet it isn't. It's just another altcoin and a bitcoin copycat.

Do not be tricked into buying it thinking it's BTC
2630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 18, 2021, 08:55:23 PM

Nice, the graphs give a perfect representation of what happens with shitcoins. Of all the coins, only BAT achieved an impressive all-time high after the bloodbath in 2018

Right now, I don't blame OP. Maybe he's still new in the game and thinks that it's always a rosy affair in cryptoland but once he gets to see a real bear market, he will change his mind about these low capped shitcoins.
2631  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "kingsman_origina1 " is a scammer. Please block him on: July 18, 2021, 08:15:44 PM
kingsman_origina1 " is a scammer. Please block him  https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/14/blob5111f41fff2e1463.jpeg
I don't know if this is your alt account but OP and @smart2webmarket, all of you are doing it wrong. The right format we need for reporting scam accusations is this.

Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

You haven't shown us that the address is connected to the scammer or the fact that you sent him money that he required and never fulfilled his obligation. A sceenshot of a withdrawal from Binance isn't enough to pin him down.
2632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining for the numb on: July 17, 2021, 09:58:51 PM
IMO bitcoin mining isn't that interesting. I do not have interest in that area because of high cost of operation. Bitcoin mining is not as lucrative as people paint it to be.
Sometimes money blinds us a lot. Yes, Of course everyone wants to earn and survive, but your love for something you are going to do matters a lot. Bitcoin mining isn't probably interesting to you because you just don't love the whole thing. A person like @philipma1957 maybe thinking it's a hell of an interesting thing.

You may have other things you love doing. Maybe trading, maybe article writing etc

If Bitcoin Mining wasn't lucrative, I bet we wouldn't be having so many people still mining and mining gear manufacturers running short of mining equipment to sell, would we?
2633  Economy / Reputation / Re: I caught a bounty hunter on: July 17, 2021, 09:44:54 PM
It's better if you include details like how the accounts are connected. Are they using the same address to enroll in the same bounty or different bounties?
Are they moving tokens from different bounties to one address?

 Please make sure you quote their proof of authentication posts  in the OP and also archive them so that even if they delete them. The proof is still there.

Such evidence is important. I don't want to wrongly give someone negative feedback.

Scam.

Lots of complaints and reviews online about people getting robbed. I am even surprised that this domain is still online to this date.

The domain was registered in 2016 but they claim they have in operation since 2013

2635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners, Build Your Best Reputation From Now on: July 17, 2021, 06:34:59 PM
It all comes to how one interacts with other members, how they contribute and help the community, plus how one conducts their business here. It takes time to build trust and for people to appreciate your contributions, so it should not be forced or look artificial.
As a matter of fact, when doing something good for the community, one should not expect something (such as respect and trust) in return. It should just come off naturally.

I know of some members who came here by storm, pretending to be caring about the community and built trust pretty fast, only to blow it off by scamming other people and missing their trust. It obviously never ended well for the initial trust people had on them.
2636  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Tutorial] Install a Block Explorer [iquidus] on Ubuntu Server 18.04 on: July 16, 2021, 08:26:36 PM
I forgot to add the source code url. have added it now. it is opensource what kind of plagiarism are you talking about?
He was talking about plagiarism of articles or guides online, minus citing the link to the source of the information you posted. The moderators don't care if the project is open source or not. If you are going to copy information from somewhere and post it here, you should include the source link in your post. Failure to do that may lead to a permanent ban on your account for a plagiarism offense.
2637  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Blender.io - Advanced privacy for Bitcoin transactions (mixer) on: July 16, 2021, 07:21:59 PM
-snip-
Their situation seems to be getting from bad to worse if this is true. Just last month, they claimed their wallet (Blender wallet) which i believe is part of them got hacked and 100 BTC was stolen

June 22, 2021 – Non-custodial crypto wallet Blender Wallet has been hacked. The hackers withdrew the amount of 100 BTC in total.

As a non-custodial service, Blender Wallet doesn’t store data about users on servers. The Blender Wallet team has immediately disabled registration and access to the wallets to  protect users’ funds and make sure that newly generated seed phases won’t get in hacker’s hands.The executives promise to cover the losses from Blender Mixer’s reserves. Every user who has lost the money due to the hack will get the exact amount of money on their balance. Further information on compensation will be available at https://blenderwallet.io and @BlenderWalletio_English Telegram channel.

“Over the course of investigation, we promise to figure out how hackers managed to hack a non-custodial solution, as we don’t store any data granting access to users’ balances on our servers. We initiated an internal investigation. The details of how hackers got access to users’ funds are still unclear,” commented the officials. "The whole crypto community, be it a regulated exchange or a mixer, should deploy all the forces against cybercrime, as it's users who get affected in the first place. And as a service we must do whatever we can to protect funds that we've been entrusted with."

They said that they were in the process of refunding the victims, but if this can happen to a mixer and their wallet. I don't think it gives any much confidence using their services at this point.

Can you point out the topics you can't reply to?

The obvious reason is that the thread is locked by the topic starter so no one can post a reply in it. There are also other boards like serious discussion and Ivory tower where a newbie can not post.
2640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trust wallet bnb reword on: July 15, 2021, 09:19:44 AM
i just checked trust wallet web site but as mentioned here it should be in app presentage but trustwallet actually paying 8.08 apy for stakers i staked on tw validater im considering to change my validater to some igh return validater

is their any danger loosing funds in other validator
If you go under stake details, it shows the highest APR by default which is 22.47% right now but yeah the TW staking validator APR is actually 8.08%
Namelix seems to be the highest at 22.47%

There is no danger in loosing your funds except that if you choose and inactive validator, you won't be receiving your rewards. So you will be staking for nothing.

You might wanna read so more risks of staking here just so you are aware https://community.trustwallet.com/t/the-risks-of-staking/672
