2627  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY6] New Years Eve Thank You Giveaway Bitmain Antminer S1 180GH 3 BTC on: January 01, 2014, 02:10:03 PM

But with all those middlemen you prob don't save much... right?  And if something is broken when it arrives, who do you turn to?

I really don't like spamming up Sushi thread so if any questions please contact me direct.

There are really good agents that only take 5% fee still is much cheaper. I made test purchase and I got unit for 1.92BTC and shipping in the New Year Batch, I still buy from Sushi to support his group buy.

The MAIN point here is that Bitmain should offer Sushi much better price. He can offer others so why not his biggest customer ?

You trolling every single thread with this crap about your agents, what they got and what the price they have. First mininghardware, than sushi than outcast3k. Whats wrong with you. Every single time you have better cheaper crap with no proof and history here.

2633  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: December 29, 2013, 10:41:45 PM

Quick question, as i was very interested in this 200gh unit.
Can u tell me if prices will drop down?
As sushi dropped his to 3.15btc per unit which is 1400Gbp with delivery?
We talking about 180gh/s
Just asking as i can see the trend of asics prices going down. Cubes u can buy for .99btc as well delivered.

I was hoping price per Gh/s will drop but this obviously not happening.
Any news on that?

2635  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: ANTMINER - WORTH IT? on: December 29, 2013, 05:24:41 PM
I live in the UK and I am eager to start bitcoin mining.
From what I've heard, block erupters are redundant, as are red/blue fury (and the cost is pretty high too, for the amount of power).

I have been considering purchasing Butterfly Labs 10GH/s and/or 4-5 Antminer US1 ASIC USB miners for use with my Raspberry Pi (plus fan and usb port).

Am I doing the right thing in purchasing these antminers? In the UK, I can get four of these for £240 asking price on ebay, possibly more if I barter considering I'm buying more than one.
However I've seen them for around £35 on here plus shipping, but I'm unsure how I would pay, and if I can trust people on these forums.

Combined, I can get around 7.2 GH/s with these machines for around the same/less cost per GH/s as Butterfly labs, which is especially enticing considering their low power draw.

So yeah, is this a good idea, how can I trust, and how do I overclock?

Thanks!!!

If you look and search in right place you can get 38Gh/s cube for arrount 1BTc. Do some research and see how much you will pay for one BTC now.
Need more info? Pm me, i will help you start your bitcoin adventure.

2637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will *not* attack/fight/etc central banking and fiat currency on: December 29, 2013, 12:47:21 PM
My view is that BTC just showed system which is to perfect for banks to accept it.
They know BTC is just start for this race, but one day fiat and central bank will become useless.
You can buy now normal items from silver, gold, phones to cars and homes for BTC.

Small fees, no taxation and no problem someone will look in to your pockets(bank account) and have tools to block you from using funds will make BTc and other crypto really big player on financial markets.

Subways accepting BTC, bitgild and others. sky is the limit this days.

I agree with everything except the no taxation part. The most fair tax is a value added tax. If a sovereign nation creates a cryptocurrency and "code" in it the VAT and only return it in cases where it does not apply, this suddenly makes every transaction in a network 100% taxable by the government. (unless people just traded private keys). This technology could be used to make an excellent currency on behalf of a nation.

A value added tax is the fairest of all taxation methods. Rich and poor alike pay the exact same tax. A tax like this in conjunction with universal basic income can create utopias. This technology could make this happen.

At this moment there is no tax and thats why i mention that.

2639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deutche Emark as local german e-currency? on: December 29, 2013, 11:55:07 AM
chinacoin, italycoin and I am sure there are lots others.

I do not see how a decentralized P2P coin can be country specific.

This thread is in the wrong section.

Sorry if i made mistake but writing it in wrong section. Maybe mod can move that to more relevant section.
