Need the price to come down some Sushi.  2.75 for returning customers???

Assuming another batch of 300 it could make 2.95 just by removing the freebies for the lucky 25th, 100th, etc

If I have been help then please show your thanks         BTC: 127PRogAVZiV3fEmpJERh9KemK3a3Ffh6G         LTC: LXghFL8mZffpTFkm2nRTesuDrV5DJQP3Js

or maybe it has something to do with the fact that, assuming a 30% difficulty increase every 10 days, this miner costing 3btc will only generated about 2 btc before it is no longer profitable Tongue

Let me just explain how i came to that conclusion:

the difficulty is currently 1.18 billion

so assuming a 30% difficulty jump every 10 days the difficulty will be 1.535 billion on the 4th when the machine ships

jan. 4th-14th difficulty = 1.535 billion = .6 btc mined (.06 btc per day x 10 days)
jan 15th-25th difficulty = 1.995 billion = .4 btc mined (.04 btc per day x 10 days)
jan 26th-feb 4th difficulty = 2.594 billion = .26 btc mined (.026btc per day x 10 days)
feb 5th-15th difficulty = 3.372 billion = .17 btc mined ( .017 btc per day x 10 days)
feb 16th-26th difficulty = 4.384 billion =.11 btc mined (.011btc per day x 10 days)
feb 27th- march 7th difficulty =5.7 billion =.07 btc mined (.007 btc per day x 10 days)
at which point the miner would start costing more in electricity then its producing if the price stays what it is now.

to sum up:
miner cost 3btc
miner produces 1.6 btc in its lifetime

sorry sushi. went from wildly successful to no longer viable in a week. time to move on to the next thing Tongue

Bitmain should be offering Sushi much better price, Locals in china can buy these from Bitmain on his TaoBao for 1.86BTC per unit inc Delivery to mainland china.

That is a price that is actually good for the current market. Sushi has done bitmain so good for customers I think should be good back and offer better price.

As many are right these machines are now simply too expensive to run in the long run and will never ROI.

Sushi has done amazing work for everyone and Bitmain does provide a good service, very good infact but the price should meet supply.

I really don't like spamming up Sushi thread so if any questions please contact me direct.

There are really good agents that only take 5% fee still is much cheaper. I made test purchase and I got unit for 1.92BTC and shipping in the New Year Batch, I still buy from Sushi to support his group buy.

The MAIN point here is that Bitmain should offer Sushi much better price. He can offer others so why not his biggest customer ?

After taobao was mentioned last week, I have been following the action on there... sort of feel that this forum got the "shaft" when you look back at things.

However - the forum didn't help "itself" when Bitmain decided to auction the first rounds of units vice putting up a storefront website with actual inventory (outside China/taobao) like it was mentioned in the first ever post.  Whether or not some of the ridiculous large bids with huge quantities were legit are sort of a question mark.  The overall forum greed (hell, I got one in the 2nd auction).. drove the price up and it has been slowly (very slowly) coming down.  While the speedy service and support cannot be overlooked... this forum has undoubtedly been VERY GOOD to the Bitmain/Sushi operation shoveling over tons of BTC... (while the home team abroad can get these for half the price or so )

Sushi has stated there is no mark up on his price, and for a company that has over 50000+ feedback and is one of the biggest agents in the world I feel I am in safe hands plus I have had over 100+ items already delivered from this agent. I can safe to say I am not worried.

Wow  Shocked
(Conversion Rate: CNY/USD = 0.1652)  ¥8500 = $1400
(BTC/USD = $725)  =  1.93 BTC
Expensive shipping?

Most distributors know, Americans will buy everything. Throw some more at us, we don't care! We have money (? Not really), take some! Even if the price was 4 BTC now, people will buy here in the USA, I can bet!

After reading this and doing some of my own calculation, I agree that this won't ROI.  In my situation, I'm a bit torn.  Sushi has an interesting way of comping me on the 4-pin ribbon cable debacle.

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

Hi Guys,

I didn't explain it well.

After every 25 sales, a winner will be selected from the paid member list.  So if you are 1st 25, you are in the drawing every time until the giveaway is over.

Not the 25th person will receive the free giveaway.

So every 25 sales, there will be a drawing from the current paid member list.  so if you are on the member list at 10, you will have 4 chances of drawing to win free S1, compare to 90th customers have 1 chance of drawing to win.

That's fair.  Sushi, please send me a payment address.  I'm interested in taking you up on that offer we discussed via PM.  That'd be a total of 4 units, please.

Thanks!  And HAPPY NEW YEAR!
