2621  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized site & Whitepaper - Laminatrade.com on: February 28, 2023, 02:24:49 AM
Do bounty managers really take out time to read and go through such details to giving attention to them before launch of the bounty? If the managers do this i think the project team would have taken their time to make changes immediately after observation and another thing to note in  this post as regards to this project is that it might likely be a scam. From your observation about the team members they presented here which are not in any way related to the project, i think they are up to something and if the bounty manager is not aware of this then i suggest his or her attention should be called to this immediately to rectify this error before it goes beyond what the forum can not comprehend. As it is in the early stage now i think that bounty should be called to a halt till  further investigations surrounding the team behind this project is concluded.
2622  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LocalBitcoins.com Exit Scam on: February 28, 2023, 01:37:53 AM
so sorry about your experience with them. Centralized exchange can not be trusted with funds any more, There have been lots of complaints from different quarters about them but it is unfortunate that at this moment they are folding and are going away with investors funds which is not appropriate. I heard they gave time for withdrawal, did they send out messages to their members? did you receive any message from them telling you to make withdrawals in time? It is sad though but i think they are a big time exit scam. That is why it is advised to keep your assets in your own wallet where you have assess to your keys alone hence the phrase " not your keys, not your coin"
2623  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ GamblersConnect.com ⭐ Trusted Casino Reviews ✅ Casino Affiliate of The Year on: February 27, 2023, 09:15:06 PM
OP if you can, I would suggest you add a link to trust pillot review rating too so as to also know what other people are talking about the casinos if the reviews are organic or paid review this would also give clues to bettors and gamblers as to know how genuine the casinos are before getting involved with them. However, I hope this would not result to litigation in the nearest future as some casinos would likely see this proposal a treat to their business for those of them not genuine in their existence. Lastly, the year of casinos establishment should be clearly stated or captured because that is another hint too when gamblers are doing search for reliable casino that has long been in existence because some feel such casinos are ok to deal with since they have been in the industry for years.
2624  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: WHAT A SHAME! PEOPLE STARTING TO SELL THEIR CONSCIENCE. on: February 27, 2023, 08:41:09 PM
It is really a pity though but I had to think about it. People are really going through lots, if they see any opportunities they do not mind compromising so as to sort things themselves. Most people do not really have that control over themselves and can not resist situation in which they find themselves in. In this case, I would not really blame him to have taken such decision OP because I believe there are things going on which must have prompted him to act that way. That aside, looking at the current situation now it seems the vote counting has gone wrong as there are many complaints coming in from different polling units in respect to the results so looking at all these things put together how would one be encouraged to vote? You vote and your vote does not count how do you explain that. I would not blame him for the decision he took though maybe he has foreseen what might likely happen so instead of him wasting his time  he just decided to do the needful at the earliest stage.
2625  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE launched today on: February 27, 2023, 08:26:27 PM
Yeah there's no proof if it's scam, but for me I'd choose to stay away.
May be the reason for choosing the name is to get traffic from the keyword Nakamoto. It's understandable and I do not see anything bad in it. If I find a nice name and think to use it in a way to make money, I can do that. Everyone one is free to do it. But since the name Nakamoto relates with the brand I would like to see something that will impress me and hook me. Not something already exists in the market and does not look even closer to the market standard.
I think you are right. Possibly, they might want a faster traffic to their casino but they have forgotten that the steps they took are mostly done by scammers to mimick a good name for their products which I do not think people would buy the idea. Anyways it sometimes does not matter but just as you have said, what new thing are they adding to the already existing one which would give them edge over others, what solution do they have to settle any lapses and lastly what is the possible satisfaction to derive from their products which others do not have. These questions are what would keep them and not just joining the old to make yo the crowd.
2626  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vavada.com | ⭐ crypto casino with quick withdrawals ⭐ | personal bonuses 🎁💰 on: February 27, 2023, 07:51:28 PM
I checked the twitter page of this casino and I noticed the follower-ship is very poor not up to 1000 followers which is not health at all. This means that vavada casino do not prioritize marketing and advertising, if hey can put that into consideration,i believe they would have a whole lot of followers on their twitter page and their promo would be meaningful and reasonable if they do a give away. Not only that, since there is a avenue for signature campaign here, why not they give it a try according to their budget so as to create more awareness of their casino. This would help in more promotion of their casino and the campaign should be managed by a reputable high rank member.
I believe they don't have a lot bankroll, that's why they don't want to run a signature campaign or promotions in this forum. Signature campaign should be run at least 1 month, because there's no point only run for 1-2 weeks since many people will not really recognize the new casinos. It's need to be consistent to know the result, new casino just don't want to take a risk. Just take a look with casinos have run long term signature campaign in this forum, they're become successful.
I think you are correct. Not all new casinos here have the financial strength to run a campaign. Running a campaign involves huge financial commitment which means more funds even though they have budget for it. Sometimes, the campaign can not guarantee that you will get traffic upon starting it but it takes time gradually. One thing I will advise is that casinos should not think two weeks or a month campaign is enough to guarantee a strong publicity and huge traffic to their casino site for gamblers but however, the campaign can only create awareness of your presence onboard the bitcointalk platform but it would take time a little for members to start patronizing your casino that is why some reputable manager advise to campaign for atleast two months for a better publicity which is recommended.

I may partially agree with this that Vavada do not have funds to start the signature campaign. They are running their gambling site and must be earning good income.

It is more than a mindset than the funds which are required to start a signature campaign. Also it is a myth that you need a lot of funds to start a signature campaign because if you have less money then you can come with a campaign which have less participants and they pay moderate amount to them.

You agree to it or not but signature campaigns are a must if you want to promote your casino on this forum.
Yes for sure I think so that vavada casino are new and possibly do not have enough funds to run campaign for signature. Just like you have said running a campaign is must if you want publicity here and possibly, the campaign should be done be a well known reputable manager who has a large followership and influence here another thing is that the casino should be reliable and trustworthy so that they can gain the interest of members here. Another is that their representative should be very much active here to respond to questions about the casino as there are lots members would want to hear and know about the casino before they try getting involved with it not only that, members would definitely make comments and observation with possible suggestion to the casino which can serve as review and that would help them keep to standard and be abreast of other casinos.
2627  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 on: February 27, 2023, 06:27:40 PM
Owl.games used to be one of my favorite casinos, but recently, I've began to doubt if everything is still cool with them, most especially, after they locked their thread, and some scam accusation began to spring up against them..

I sold all my owl tokens which I've held for quite some time now and invested the money in another project I have full confidence in, and from now on, if at all I will still gamble on this Casino, I will do that carefully, else, I will just forget about them and choose other casinos on this from, since there are still several good online casinos here.
There is nothing wrong in your decision. As a matter of fact, that is what every individual would do to safeguard themselves and their investment. What the owl team did is not really clear with me. No matter how difficult the situation is I believe there is always a way out. If they had left the thread open irrespective of what transpired and the people are people are making comments, I think they should be able to get some points and make a good decision because most comments made are possibly solutions in disguise which the owl team would be able to handle..
2628  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE launched today on: February 27, 2023, 06:11:39 PM
Based on the names it's already looks scammy because a legit one wouldn't use a popular name like Nakamoto, in the last few years there's a dice site named satoshidice.io where it was legit since they paid their players and they've run a campaign, but it's turn become scam when the lucky player win big amount money Satoshidice.io / Cryptodice.io Scam. Not paid my winning.

Yeah there's no proof if it's scam, but for me I'd choose to stay away.

from the first look on the site, it is like a substandard casino as you've seen similar script before. it would really take time before they can get the approval from the community. for those who are in doubt, either don't play on their site or use very small fund to try out the site.
no one is oblige to deposit on their site, so it is up to you if you will play on this site or not. they are free to use any domain name as long as it is still free, so we can't say much about using the name of nakamoto here. this is their business strategy to attract some potential players.
What I will actually advise is that any one trying to play on this casino should do that with caution as there are no actual trace about the casino. Play wisely with cash you can afford to loose so you do not get bothered if that turns out to be the result of the engagement. Merely looking at the site I was not moved to reconcile the fact that this is a casino. It is a kind of not being realistic and like one of the commenter above noted about the license, I also checked for it but no where to be found on the website. License gives bettors and gamblers confidence to patronize such casino because they would feel more comfortable and relaxed while playing or betting.

I will not be surprised to see the people turning up for Obi but my fear is that all those people shouting obedient in social media and otherwise should be realistic not the pocket supporters that would deviate at the last minute when they see money. Obi supporters should keep their social media handle very active now by posting and sharing their party logo and thumb print space so people would know now is the time, let the heat begin now, let the internet buzz for obi.
2631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching teenagers about bitcoin. on: February 24, 2023, 09:50:47 PM
You have done well OP. This is a catch them young scenario. At this age they can be able to assimilate the bitcoin technology very fast because they are of age and can flow as it is worth learning. Since it was your first time I know the tensed pressure you must have experienced while imparting the bitcoin knowledge on them. Looking at the students, they look eager and interested in the topic and the technology they look aroused and their attention all focused on the teachings.
2632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I gave investment advice to my grandfather. on: February 24, 2023, 09:37:58 PM
If your grandfather is well informed about bitcoin then it definitely means that there are lots of grandpa's out there who have knowledge about bitcoin and are wanting to do same just like your grandfather. No one is left behind in bitcoin as it is for all irrespective of your age and this says it all. OP you have done very well by educating your grandpa on investment in bitcoin and your grandfather seems cool with the idea. The smart move you made by letting him not to invest all his wealth into bitcoin is what I like most so as not to run at risk if it goes towards that direction and another thing you did which o commend you is letting him know how risky bitcoin market os, the ups and downs in the market so he would have knowledge about it and prepare himself for the unforseen.

2634  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bringing this Back: Nigerians Are Using Bitcoin to Bypass Trade Hurdles on: February 24, 2023, 04:05:33 PM
I have no doubt about it as this was one of the major functions of bitcoin. Doing this has saved him some stress, third party and much transaction fee. This he has done would steer o more business opportunities with others companies that are ready to receive bitcoin for payment of goods and services. As we all know China is a major producing nation so the competition there is very high and the demand for market is someworth low so any one available to buy their goods is free to as long as you have the funds available be it bitcoin or other Crypto currencies available they are ready to deal just to discard the old goods in their warehouse so that new ones can be stored or kept there. I believe gradually, manufacturing and producing organizations would start looking to accepting bitcoin for their products.
2635  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits - Account lock on: February 24, 2023, 03:36:12 PM
Sorry about your bitter experience with the duelbit casino. I see your account is a new bie account but you do not Sound like the new bie your account reflect. Anyways, duelbit has been here for long and currently running a campaign not only that, the casino has never had any complaints from any member before neither has anyone accused the casino of scamming them but for the first time I am seeing this complaints. If I may ask do you use VPN when login? Because that might be another reason your account was suspended how ever, I would suggest you chat their representative here as to know what happened and why your account was suspended. I strongly recommend you make another complaint on their announcement thread or you make a post of this topic link on their announcement thread for the representative to look into in immediately.
2636  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: yahoo62278 scammed the forum with his fake donation (part 2) on: February 24, 2023, 03:09:30 PM
This should not be your resolve OP. You have made donation and that is it. I believe you know donations are free will and nobody compelled or forced you to doing it so why coming to raise some dust here. Did Yahoo sent you a pm asking for your donations? Or did Yahoo write your name on the post asking you for donations? You did that freely without any one telling you to do so why all these calling of names here. Why Coming here to call someone that has undergone procedures for a transplant and waiting for recovery? This tells your level of maturity which is not good. You said you are rich and bigger that the donations so why demanding it back from him? You are bigger than it right, and still demanding for peanuts and also making noise here.
Where are your manners?
2637  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ GamblersConnect.com ⭐ Trusted Casino Reviews ✅ Casino Affiliate of The Year on: February 24, 2023, 02:25:15 PM
I've seen so many unfamiliar crypto casinos in your site. I guess it's also a good way that we're introduced to them. Perhaps you could also do the same by reviewing more crypto casinos that are on this forum and introduce them to your other readers.

Quote
Act as the medium for you in order to experience every casino without going through the painstaking research process.
Thanks for that. Maybe you could also present your thread in a less painstaking way. It took many scrolls just to get to the bottom of the page. You can be more concise and you don't have to post images of casinos you've reviewed. Top page and the overview should be enough.
The site layout is nice.
....Also, the presence of a blacklist can also help users avoid mistakes when choosing a gambling platform,
Right. It was also nice that they didn't put an affiliate link to the blacklisted casinos.
This is a good initiative OP. This will give guidelines on casinos to identify with both here and outside here. Gamblers and bettors would have a good view and also see other people's review or thought about a casino which they want to deal with so they do not have issues in the long run. However, just like it is written above about blacklist, including it in the site would give gamblers  a clearer picture of  what casino is in terms of credibility. Thes are mostly one of the major aspect gamblers would want to see so they could take caution while dealing but however, looking at the other aspects of it,. If those casino blacklisted finds out that their casino is being tagged by other review sites, they may likely press charges .
2638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen once Hong Kong legalizes bitcoin? on: February 23, 2023, 11:13:42 PM
Someone said in another thread somewhere in their speculation on the Bitcoin price that we will see something similar to 2019. Being, a mid year growth followed by another dip between then and the halving, then the real run closer to around the halving (2024).

This makes perfect sense and aligns with this apparent news. Bitcoin to rally around mid year, cool off toward the end of the year and then start rallying again closer to the halving.

If I were to predict the high for this news, it will probably be around 30k. I still suspect a lot of sideways/downward action from here until the supposed mid year rally.

On a normal ground I really do not take all these bullshit seriously and I would advise you to do away with these also as no one can ever predict the direction successfully and accurately. All these talks are just a guess work to see how the masses and holders would give in and sometimes, they do all these to manipulate the market but they forget that the bitcoin market is not regulated and therefore can not be controlled ant how. Speculations are never the reality but just a guess work which in the real sense is not feasible.
2639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How somebody can prove that my wallet belong to him? on: February 23, 2023, 11:05:01 PM
What if i catched some mot****er, who is using one of my wallets - how can i prove that it's mine?  Angry Angry
This question is a technical question and  sounds like someone trying to prove a case of ownership either in a law court to clarify an argument or maybe a police report. If you must claim a wallet belongs to you then the first thing you can prove with that is is presenting your seed phrase or secret keys but if in a case there are two holders of the secret keys trying to claim ownership then it will need some extra efforts to do so.  I believe there are some remarkable events attached to an occurrence for which the real owner of the wallet must remember to explain, some events can lead you to explaining the process and how it began. In a situation where by two people are dragging ownership of a thing, I believe from mere explanatory you could tell who the owner really is. Looking at this, as a wallet related, the owner must have had some experience to some of the token on his or her wallet with some memorable occurrence which can not be easily forgotten.

2640  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cbet.gg SCAM 3600USDT on: February 23, 2023, 08:28:39 AM
I want to share my bad experience with online casino cbet.gg.
I created account there, verified it first, then i made deposit of 744usdt, after some gambling i won there on sportsbetting and made withdrawal of 966usdt which was successful, it made me belive site is legit so i gambled some more, successfully withdrawed 870usd more and after that they blocked my account for no reason with 3600usdt on it and said i violated their terms and conditions (which i didnt) when i asked how did i violated it they didnt answer.

I was just actually about asking if you had violated their rules before seing it that you already made mention of it that you don't, but to be sincere they ought to have presented you the reason why they have blocked your account, also we cannot accurately judge your experience from their own decision without knowing if you actually didn't break their rules, because sometimes we do but unaware to us that we did, also did you conduct a thorough research on them before choosing them base on their past and present reputations.

I was wondering too because OP has stated that he asked them why they blocked OP account but they did not respond to op which shows that they are upto something and I was thinking too maybe OP defaulted somewhere on their casino policy but for them not to give op any tangible reasons for their actions speaks of great volume than we think. Of lately, this has been the complaints coming in from forum members about casinos blocking their accounts and not allowing them withdraw their Winnings. It is very dissappointing though because when they were playing at loss the casinos did not stop them neither did the casino got their accounts banned so as to prevent them from making loss but why now that they have started winning and making withdrawal all the casino could do is to ban or suspend their accounts. It is not making any sense.
