2621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 17, 2022, 12:44:31 AM
I like to bet against the majority. After all, I like seeing the Finals ending in Game 7 as it's been a long period of waiting again for another NBA Season.

Betting a combo for Boston Celtics -4.5 + Under 210.5 @ 3.95

This will be the first time that I will bet for the Boston Celtics in this series and aside from that, I have an active betting here in our place for Celtics +1. I don't care who will win the Championship as long as all my respective bets should win first lol.

Good luck to everybody.
Yeah, you seem to be in the minority with that bet.
I am going with a Warriors win to end this thing.
But am hoping for the over on points with the majority of points being scored by Boston players.

Does anybody think Curry will show up tonight and finally hit those three's in the end to win them the game?
They really depended on Poole to get them down from long range and seemed to take Steph's role for the last few games.
He is a player who can really step up when they need him too also Wiggins.
2622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: June 17, 2022, 12:40:34 AM
Baseball is a sport thats played in the early afternoon and the evening eastern/central standard time in the North American timezone.
So you will have to adjust to those if you want to see the specials when they are available.

I know. Didn't take a screenshot but what I meant was, there WAS a special available, it just wasn't showing. When they're not (and I do check them a lot), there simply isn't a category appearing, or it was Event Unavailable.

This one was active, the category/market was there, but the actual selection wasn't loading. Pretty common Sportsbet book problem really, markets showing up but selections not. Was just curious to see what they were. My BoSox went from almost-there last season to almost-shit this one. Ha. They've been doing really well last 10 games though, who knows, they turn things around late.
This is exactly what I saw when I checked right before I mentioned it on the thread.
I can see the category but when I clicked on the sport MLB under specials it was blank.
Yet they would of appeared closer to when the matches started but I wasn't available to check two-three hours before the MLB games began today.
From the link I posted above of WhatsHot they list the times of when those specific promotions during the course of the day begins.
So they should be available to see by then. You just needed to click on the day of the week to see today and then the following days there after to view them all.
I made a fair share off the boosts for those table games listed. An extra 15% on top of our winnings isn't half bad.
Wouldn't you agree? Cheesy
2623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: June 17, 2022, 12:35:57 AM
It seems that every other week Musk manages to stay in the news.
But even with this attention grabbing news, I doubt he would want this kind of publicity when it comes to the headlines today.
He is being sued for his entire net worth by someone claiming him promoting a pyramid scheme with a cryptocurrency he has basically embraced and is known to condone it with accepting it as a form of payment for products from his companies in the past.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-06-16/musk-tesla-spacex-are-sued-for-alleged-dogecoin-pyramid-scheme
https://www.reuters.com/legal/transactional/elon-musk-sued-258-billion-over-alleged-dogecoin-pyramid-scheme-2022-06-16
https://www.nbcnews.com/now/video/elon-musk-facing-258-billion-lawsuit-over-alleged-dogecoin-pyramid-scheme-142285381638

Class action lawsuits aren't so easy to just shake off. Just don't know what the one who is making these claims is going to do if he loses.

We are leaving a really horrible weekend for Tifosi fans behind in Baku. Frankly, my pain doubled as I gave a place to Ferrari in my bets. There are still people among us who are happy at this weekend. Foremost among them is rdbase who won the yellow cap. Congratulations!

Here's a recap of this season's winners thus far:
1) Bahrain - CLS63
2) Saudi Arabia - CLS63
3) Australia - darxiaomi
4) Emilia Romagna - buwaytress
5) Miami - casperBGD
6) Spanish - casperBGD
7) Monaco - darbit,Mosala
8 ) Azerbaijan - rdbase
Thank you for the congratulations from you and @casperBGD @buwaytress too and yes it is a relief to get that monkey off your back while being in the pool.
Now I am among those leaders as well as you.

The excitement in F1 is still on by the Canadian GP this week. Even though having consecutive races is really good for us, the race lovers, it can be quite difficult for especially the teams. The Canadian GP has a track with full of straights and there aren't many turns. Because of this, I think that Red Bull would be powerful here. The practice sessions would give us an idea about this. By the way, I don't know if you've heard but Leclerc had to wait in the airport for some time because of missing the Canada flight.  Grin
I have fear for Lewis Hamilton even finishing this race because it is a well known fact that the track is very bumpy and did you see him coming out of his car after the last race? He looked in a whole lot of pain.
I don't think his back will be able to hold out on this track in Parc Jean-Drapeau for this weekend.

Blast is back! Cool

Seems that the tournament has returned from the break yesterday and has some good match ups that are under way.
Those matches can be seen and bet on them here:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/counter-strike/blast-cs-go/blast-premier-series/matches

G2 won their series against Team Vitality. But they are up against a much stronger side in Faze clan.
So hopefully they can rebound from such a serious defeat in that series and possibly bounce back in this tournament.

ESL Pro League is also returning with several matches which can be viewed and bet on here today as well:

Yes @leea-1334 UFC seems to be picking up the pace during the summer time now is upon us. Marketing is their only route so their fan-base is to aware when and who the next contenders will face off in the octagon.

UFC ESPN 37 is on this weekend and here is your chance to put in your picks for the next round of the multimaster challenge sponsored by Sportsbet.io:

2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 16, 2022, 10:01:40 AM
Seriously, guys, I wanted to see game 7 between these two teams because so far they've been battling strong with each other. We don't see games like this more often in the future, whether you swift your opponent or you are the ones who get swift, that's just how the last NBA finals were but this time it is different they kept winning on each other and it is really good to see if the Boston Celtics will force game 7 to make it like the game of their life and whoever wins that game will be one of the legendary NBA players in the future.

Warriors are leading right now and there is going to be a game 7 between these two teams. It is going to be a great fight between these two teams in the upcoming games.

I am actually worried about Boston because they could not win even though players of Warriors did not do very well, I am talking about the most popular players. And I wonder how they will be able to win against the Warriors if these players start playing at their highest level. I agree and also don't have any doubt that these players are going to be legendary NBA players, especially whoever wins.
Curry missing all three's last match doesn't look so good for the Warriors who want to close this out for tonight's game in Boston.
That must of been a huge shot to his ego since he hasn't gone playing a game not scoring a three pointer in over 132 games or some ridiculous stat like that. I think he also had always scored a three pointer in every playoff game he has played through out his career.

I am going for a GSW win tonight so to end it tonight on Celtic's ground.

While checking the latest promotions of today did see these MLB specials and lately have been putting some baseball matches in my acca.

@buwaytress It seems these promotions are time based so they only show up at a certain time of that specific day you select from the list which can be viewed here:
https://sportsbet.io/promotions/2022-whatshot

Baseball is a sport thats played in the early afternoon and the evening eastern/central standard time in the North American timezone.
So you will have to adjust to those if you want to see the specials when they are available.

I think the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve track is better suited for Ferrari and Red bull and their cars.
Mercedes still has issues with theirs and all this talk of porpoising which has been happen since the race in Spain.
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/mercedes-f1-explains-difference-between-porpoising-and-bouncing/10322630

Up to the point the teams are arguing about not having the FIA interfere with the decisions made about this issue but individual teams and their safety grounds.
"Horner, whose Red Bull team have been less affected by porpoising than many of their rivals, suspects some constructors are encouraging their drivers to complain vociferously about the physical effects in order to exert pressure on the FIA to open up a workaround in the rules on safety grounds."

Leclerc is looking to be the favorite at the moment for practice and qualification. But Verstappen is great on this track so this is why he has the lowest odds to win the race come Sunday on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Parc Jean-Drapeau.

I got just 4 out of 12 picks right in the end (in the prediction contest from SB), though I think at least 2 of the games were cancelled? Not sure why or if true, only got my Google guide to help me out.

And yeah nice pick on Zhang, that was my initial idea too, backing all the East Asians, but changed my mind, to my detriment.

Seems like my Texeira pick was on his way to winning with half a minute left, falling to a Czech submission. Well done whoever picked Jiri.
Alot of people were on Jiri since he was the favorite in the match to win.
I won on him and someone had him to win by submission @27x from the site I was on while placing my bets.
Watching a youtube livestream just a little while ago they showed two betslip people posted up on twitter and they both picked him to submit in the 5th round at a whooping 401x! They placed 2 pounds and received 802 pounds. That was an really amazing wins!

About the venue: It was good for the East asian fighters being in Singapore and all it boosted their mentality to do well and succeed infront of their crowd. This is always something to consider when placing your bets on certain bouts.

@leea-1334 It was the best UFC event ever I think and even Chael Sonnen a former fighter from Bad Guy Inc was saying that main event was the greatest he had ever seen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Plxs7RS86Og

Micheal Bisping was mentioning about how they were all great fights from start to finish:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRT5U61hyw4
Joanna retired from the UFC and at the end of the fight she laid her gloves down on the ring floor to show this as her last fight.
She has been fighting for the past 20 years. She must of started really young in her teens because she doesn't look that old.
But she was a character as you can see from those face-offs you posted the link too.
Here is the youtube video of all the post-fight interviews having the fighters answering questions about how they felt on how it all went down:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaePaBHIT38

As for the new light heavyweight champion Jiri, I liked his response to how he handled the fight and what happened in the ring for him to finish it very late like that:

^^
Yeah it was a great weekend in all sports!
I would imagine only if you did manage to select the right ones to win then it was good.
I didn't think Leclerc would fair too well in Baku from the past ones there and the way Ferrari have been having severe troubles with their engine as of late. Red bull certainly always does well on that track as Checo has always been a favorite to do his job and keep the rest of the pack behind them for Max to turn on the heat whenever he decides too.
But not in my wildest dreams did I ever think both Ferrari cars would be out of the race like that.
Tragic for them and great for Red Bull and Mercedes to take the lead back on the leaderboard.

The birthday celebrations for Sportsbet.io first year of Clubhouse radio was a success and many received their 1mbtc free bet just as the radio guys had said. I did, but just barely since there were alot who were there to reap the rewards on that giveaway.

They back on track for UEFA Nations league play for tomorrow so we'll see what happens then.
It never does disappoint as its just fun listening and interacting with the english fellows on the cast if only to learn about history of the beautiful game.

Yeah, I do agree.
I think Steve does deserve a raise with keeping us all active here on the forums!

Thanks, I had a nice 2 days off from work because I did last 2 weeks a long time and managed to fill my nights with football, too bad they do not like giving me rest on weekend or I could try watch new things like UFC.

I already make one bet on Croatia tonight, now I also made a Santos bet @4.86. I like the odds too,,, but that Sevchenko Valentina looks like a sure thing so is my prediction pick.
Since your in Asia this UFC will be set in your timezone since it is being hosted in Singapore.
They mentioned an early start time at the end of the weigh-ins so you just might be able to watch it while it is happening instead of the re-runs this UFC event.

How did this even manage to pass under my radar I didn't know.

I always assumed all UFC fights were happening in USA, I know sometimes even in Asia but not in my area/region.

Seems like our sports coverage here at least in the local circles aren't really still aware of UFC things going on, my bad. I just checked and everything is happening around lunch time my time! When I am working!!
Sign up for notifications to the thread then you won't miss a thing! Wink

I at first was backing for Joanna to win but have since changed my view on this match.
Zhang has been training very hard and even went to a gym in the middle of the jungle to isolate herself in her training since that loss to Rose Namajunas.

Have my bets put in so am all set to sit and enjoy some big fights tonight.
There is two title fights in this main card so you don't want to miss any of the action! Grin

Leclerc takes pole position for the race tomorrow.

Then Perez comes in with beating out Verstappen with that burning of the rubbers. That was so close at the end for Checo getting in second place for qualifying.

Very impressive run by Leclerc. I really thought he had lost his touch but in the last few races he has become a comeback wizard when it comes to these races.

It's not easy at all to track the start of all this different UFC events around the world, and even in US there are different time zones.
I followed one website that was tracking that and updating with countdown timer, but they shut it down few months ago.
Back to UFC 275, I just finished watching face-offs and it was very intense between Teixeira and Prochazka.
I have a felling one of this two guys will finish on cage floor early Wink

I find it easier just to go to the betting site where you placed your bets and just see what time the first match's start time is.
This makes it a heck of alot easier to follow cause your placing your bets on the fight anyways. Smiley

As you can see the first fight begins in about 12 hours from now give or take 15-20 minutes before the markets close on you being able to bet prematch.
