Hello, I'm having problems with one buyer in Bitmit.
He bought 10xUSB AsicMiner for a total of 23.50btc. I shipped last week and he received them via UPS at Monday 25/05/2013.
Official package weight is 0,5kg, every USB is about 40grams with his box.
Of course, I included all. I did all by myself, taking extra care (like always).
Now buyer tells me he received just empty boxes, with no ASIC device. Which makes no sense since it should be missing more than 300grams in the package.
I have good rep, always take care of my buyers, plus it should be really stupid on my part trying to scam in bitmit with escrow when I'm doing at the same time a lot of sells without escrow. So I think I should win with no problems.
But even with all this I feel I could improve for the next time, and protect more my back, because this kind of people is so disgusting.
So, sellers what do you do when you sell something via escrow to ensure 100% the buyer can't scam to you?

this is an awesome service to offer but thankfully Avalon is putting much more effort in packaging these things which is greatly reducing the number of units that arrive with broken components. Also just want to congratulate Avalon on the new black design. Really like it - stepped it up a big notch. With my broken units I just used the modules that survived to upgrade other units to four module units. Which has worked quite well. I do have one unit that I run through a linux box because the tplink was destroyed, and I did not feel like tearing apart any of solid units and it works fairly well with bfgminer. Although it is not the most stable. Seems like it needs a reset once a day, not sure if its bfgminer or my fpga controller is slightly damaged. Also want to throw it out there I have I think 4 broken modules, that were damaged during shipping. Only thing I can really tell is some capacitors snapped off - I do not notice any other damage but I am interested in selling them as is, if anyone wants them - please PM me an offer. thanks for your time and keep up the good work team Avalon the new black units are really killer -JJ Why dont you try to solder the capacitors? |

So was wie 83. 673.287.123 wirst du wohl nie bekommen Muss es denn ipv4 sein? wenn der Dienst ipv6 spricht, kannst du dir ja einen ipv6 Tunnel bei z.b. Sixxs.net besorgen/beantragen und dann an deinen DSL Anschluss legen. Dann hast du auch gan ganz viele IP-Adressen.. ich vermute, dass es durch ipv6 geht, nur verstehe ich gar nix davon, und der Aufwand für mich riesig wird. Daher suche eine ipv4 Adresse. Wie gesagt, einfach beim Provider anrufen und bestellen. |

I read somewhere that the ASICminer blade and Avalon rigs us ethernet and you just connect to them via a specific IP to give them the pool information. My question is, "if the IP is hardwired into them, how do you deal with more than one on the same LAN?" II'm sure that i'm missing something simple.

Other Avalon users have noticed batch 1 "Blue" fans are unable to cope with the "black" higher CFM fans when the system fan speeds are running at 100% The increased CFM slows down the "Blue" fan due to the increase air pressure inside the Avalon. O I have ordered Minebea - Fan,5w190 Nmb 4715kl-04w-b56 12vdc 1.30a 120x38mm,cn-05x892 replacement fans. Once a 4th module is installed I plan on using a Corsair AX1200i and have it located outside the Avalon case to improve the CFM airflow out of the unit. I may migrate 1 module from Avalon unit #445 and put it into Avalon Unit #114 in order to test its performance. However I will wait on this until next week some time. will this do? I would grab a 12 volt fan. Google for scythe 5400 .. there you go |

Ich glaube du bist einfach ärgerlich ,dass wir zu 90% deine Betrugsversuche vermasseln, weil wir vorher den Leuten raten ein VPN zu nutzen ? :-P
