2621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AntMiner L1 for sales $5/MH/s ships in December on: September 03, 2014, 02:56:04 PM
Watching this topic.  December seems pretty far out for a preorder now a days.  No offense Bitmain, but between this pretty far out pre order and the pricing on hashnest that will not achieve positive ROI, I am starting to shy away from Bitmain offerings.

Someone please post this on ecointalk as well...

HAHA BA, your scrypt chip is already obsolete!

3 watts at the wall same as yours, and $5 a MH!  They beat you before you even taped out!  Bitmain to the moon yet again while BA is left to wallow in their own cesspool of shit.

EDIT: And able to mine n-10, n-11, and n-12 lol BA your dead in the water
2623  Economy / Securities / Re: [ApplianceStore] - Official Reports - Daily Updates - Important Information on: September 03, 2014, 01:29:42 PM
Payments through 8-31 have been sent. Should be back to daily updates starting tomorrow.

Thanks

How do you make these dividend payment, once a week, every couple days or what?
Also, what insurance do we have you not disappearing with BTC gathered from your investors. Sorry for being so blunt but I always ask these things.

Try to hit once a day with a few days delay. Got off track for a bit but back on schedule as of now.

As for your second question I don't know of any good way to answer that. Most that are involved knew me from the other offer I had here since last year where I've been sending out payments every 2 weeks.

Thanks

Ok, thx. What is that other offer so I can have a look?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it is sold out.  It was for XXXProfit, which is an adult entertainment website.  I am sure you can search the forums and find the original thread about it.

Another excuse, BA how lame!!

I'm confused .... after all the "stuff that did not explode" after all, explodes Huh?

can someone explain?

.............................

On the hashboard there are no electrolytic capacitors. Everything is solid. They cannot explode with flame.

This 1500uF electrolytic capacitor ended on this board by mistake: We have added it while trying to debug the noise in the SPI and forgot to delete it from the BOM. By the time we got the backplanes they were already mounted. We did not think that it might be a problem and we were pushed by you (customer) to ship asap therefore we have not removed them. Removing them would have caused at least 1 day delay.

We also don't need the 470uF solid capacitors from the backplane.

That is ofcourse bullshit and they know it..
they have a huge problem on their hands cause the machine is CE certified. that means that if something happend house on fire, human electrocution and its caused by the BA miner they are responsible !!

Authorities would ask the TCD files of the miners. (Technicel Construction Dossier) if is not complete our the product did not pass certain test well you will loss your balls ....

it is absolutely bullshit.

so they had this cap that shouldn't have been on the BOM, but was.

and if they're not supposedly doing anything, why was there enough load on them to blow them and start a fire.

these guys are fucked.  these caps are likely indicative of another problem.  just putting bigger/different caps in the system doesn't solve the underlying issue of whatever caused these to fail.

are we supposed to believe that they over-rated every other part BUT the caps so we'll be fine as soon as they upgrade the caps?

BS.  this is more likely a design flaw that goes well beyond the caps.

Feel free to provide better design if you are so proficient, with analysis and free time. Why don't you get one and fix the issue? I love the people that can discuss a lot of things throw crap and stuff but cannot even make their home PC work.
Issue points only at one thing, that it has to be investigated beyond someone pointing a finger and saying "LOOK a problem!", it's like playing captain obvious.
Hope future of the technology does not depend on such people, that are able to make analysis and conclusions based on who knows what.

Good luck anyway.

Who the fuck are you shill? Better go home before you get hurt. This will be your only warning.

I would also be careful selling these on Ebay, I am not totally sure what the policy is, but if you sell something that burns down someone's house or hurts someone, it may be you who is liable.  Again, not sure about that, but it is something I would look into before selling.
2627  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 02, 2014, 06:29:51 PM
It's the Bitfury Boards all over again.  Anyone else having major deja vu?

Here's how it will play out based on the past, they will identify the problem, which is something they did wrong.  They will find someone who can fix it in your home country, all you have to do is pay to send it to them and back.  And the missed mining time, well you have been waiting thing long haven't ya?  Whats a few more weeks gonna do?

You are no longer shipping X3's??  Said as if you were actually shipping them to begin with.  Oh no, the 2 X3's that were supposed to go out today won't make it out the door, looks like another month or two back in our data center for "stress testing".
2628  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: September 02, 2014, 06:05:46 PM
The days of buying a cryptocurrency asset and immediately have it starting to trade for 2-3x its IPO value is gone.  Why would you already need trading open on this unless your goal was to make a quick buck, then good riddance for not doing proper research beforehand.

That being said, there does need some clarification from Bitmain on some key points brought up here.

dir dir dir, Iv got an extra 1.8M to invest in mining equipment.  Oooh this BlackArrow Software looks promising, let me just do a quick google search of their name, you know, just in case...omg the second link is to this thread where people are shouting scam and liars at BA.  Certainly that can't be true, I think I will invest anyway.

Is that what you think people are going to do BA?  Your so deep in shit your drowning.  Enjoy the icy grip of death.

Wait so its live now?  What happened to the 12 hours or so left until it went live?
2633  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: September 02, 2014, 02:15:22 PM
watching, although still doesn't seem profitable.  Perhaps Bitmain can post their thoughts on how this will be profitable for buyers?  Would instill more confidence amongst members.

Nice work Nubbins, do you plan on releasing a series of posters?
2635  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 02, 2014, 04:42:21 AM
I am surprised no one has pointed out a particularly obvious issue with the BE200 chips which caused a significant loss of revenue to AM. The power consumption of the chips came in higher than expected. For large mining units, that is not really an issue because the consumption vs the g/hash is still pretty decent. The real problem is that AM cannot produce simple 1-chip usb units similar to the 333 Mhs units. There are no USB hubs on the market that can handle the power requirements of a full compliment of (not designed, not released) USB miners.

The market should have been flooded with BE200 single-chip USB miners by now. Unfortunately, the power requirements locked AM out of that very lucrative market. For shareholders this is a real punch in the gut.

Disclaimer: Still a stockholder and still hodling.

Mining isn't the same like last year. What worked in the past doesn't mean that it will work in the future too. Mining is moving forward towards big ass machines.
And that is missing a huge part of the market for small time miners, miners who just want to mine to be apart of it, hobbyists, and people who want to learn.  I agree with the above post, and it is unfortunate that there is no USB version of this chip as I still sell 333 MH/s units on amazon daily.  They are still a hot commodity.  And they could be priced to be profitable.  One of the things that annoys me the most is that people say you can only make money when you have a lot of starting capital, which is just not true.  I am not here to get rich, but I can get decent returns on S3's and other miners that I buy that grows my capital.  Even small fries can earn money if they know what they are doing and play the game right.
2636  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 02, 2014, 02:10:39 AM
HAHA either they have no more money and don't want to lose any of their own on this failure of an endeavor!  What a laughable offer!  The scum of the earth goes lower, at least BFL didn't offer investors losses in a project they plan to cancel.

And wasn't the chip supposed to tape out last week?  That's what the last update said, so BA is already missing deadlines and not doing what they said they could do.  Eerie the similarities between this project and the SHA project, almost like looking back 9 months.

If anyone even remotely considers giving them any money for an already outdated chip, they deserve to lose their 5% when BA inevitably cancels this project.  I will also start a fund for anyone who is willing to breach the NDA (remember you are outside of their country and BA can't really go after you and you can remain anonymous) and give up the specs and details of this chip.  Not like BA cares about keeping your info safe, so why should you theirs?
2637  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANN: BITMAIN announces Cloud Hash Platform-HASHNEST.COM on: September 02, 2014, 01:45:57 AM
How long is the initial purchase for, if I purchase 1 TH is that for a week, month forever? Not stated on site.

The way they make it sound is that you will continue to receive a dividend until the cost to run it each day is higher than the Pay out you would receive.

Edit, so once an S2 makes less than $3.20 a day it will stop hashing for us.  Anyone have an estimate of when that will be?

Signing up and watching, price seems a little steep for 1 TH/s at the moment though.

Why the F is everybody complaining on this forum and nobody taking action? File a report for fraud at the HK police, refuse the delivery etc!!

Way to jump in with accusation that no one is doing anything and only complaining.  Perhaps start by asking what is being done or what has been done instead of lumping everyone together.

For your information, I ordered through their re seller and met with legal council multiple times.  Fortunately, I was able to come to a mutually beneficial deal with MS and avoided having to pursue anything in the court system.  But I have also filed with various agencies (not against MS) to hopefully have someone take a look at BA more substantially, government body wise that is.

Now, my goal is continually remind BA and hopefully shed light to future potential customers about who BA really is, in order to deter them from ordering with BA.  And don't think for a second that this board is as far as it goes.  I continually find ways to spread their reputation so that as many people as possible can see who BA is and what they are about, mainly screwing over their customers.

So basically you are confirming my claim: you did nothing - instead of attacking my post, take some legal action. Do you really think complaining, and 'reminding' BA that they are idiots and scammers will have any effect? The only thing they will feel is legal action. Based on their new posts on their site, they are not taking any complaints and 'reminders' seriously.

What on earth do you mean, "I did nothing"?  I very clearly explained what I did, and look what happened.  I got my money back, and I bought 5 S3's with a month of hosting!  I have counselled many people, both on this forum as well as on ecointalk, about what they can/should do.  According to my counsel, I do not have any types of claim against BA at this time, but deterring future customers, AKA cash flow for them, is what i can continue to do.

Also, I could give a shit about what bothers them.  They obviously take time to come in here and delete my posts and that gives me some satisfaction, knowing that I am a small thorn in their asses.

It seems we are on the same team here, but you are going about it wrong by telling everyone that what they have done is incorrect up to this point.  So, based on what you have been saying, it is safe to assume you have retained a legal team and are ready to hit them?  Please share with us where you are at with that?
