2621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin dumping right now? on: November 18, 2020, 12:14:23 PM
Is it because the Trump people have given up?

Is it because the Biden people are relaxing after what they think is a win?

I had hoped Bitcoin would actually make it to $20,000 this time!

Cool

Bitcoin lately isn't a dump, it's just a correction.  A healthy correction is needed to create new support before it will breakout.  Not because of the election either I guess, BTC does have high volatility considering the price has gone up massively. We almost there, wait and see

It really is a healthy correction because bitcoin hit $18000 after a little dump.

I don't know if this is brought by politics but whatever the reasons, we have to be thankful that finally we've seen a real bull run for bitcoin.
What could be next that we have already hit $18000, is it due for a new ATH this year?  your thoughts.
2622  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the next move of Bitcoin after $17000? on: November 18, 2020, 11:48:28 AM
We are at $18000 now, so the question would be, what's next for $1800?
I think if we get to $19000, that is an automatic ATH for me as bitcoin will not be stop at that level.

We are seeing an bullish sentiment already, but it's not a bull run yet since altcoins are quite steady and some even dump.
So let's wait what's next for $18,000..

will break to $19000 or the correction will start?
2623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 18, 2020, 11:08:50 AM
Harden indeed wants to chase a ring. Turning down a $50m/year contract means too obvious that he desperately needs to win a championship, and the focus was also obvious how serious and desperate he was on joining the Brooklyn Nets.
Well, If this happens, nobody can't deny they'll be an automatic NBA finals bound "IF" they stay healthy all throughout the regular and post season.

Imagine having Lakers - Nets finals in 2021. On one side LeBron-Davis-Kawhi and on the other side Harden-Durant-Irving.
I don't like teams getting 3 superstars but that's the usual basketball after 2010's. If we have to see big teams face each other then this is the clash I'd like to see in NBA.

The question there is team chemistry since we cannot really say that it's a sure win for them or it's a sure final appearance if they take more superstar in their team, harden and durant are ball hogs so provably there's a big adjustment for them before we can see that game will happen in the finals.

Durant is not, he plays with what is the team's play, I don't know about Harden, but one thing I can say is that Durant is a good teammate as he won 2 championship with the GSW and he was the finals MVP that time if I'm not mistaken.
2624  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 17, 2020, 11:36:05 PM
That's what I'm seeing, a possible correction will come and once again the market will dump.
However, I believe it will not dump hard like before where we reach $3000+ because the market has strengthen already by the long bearish period.

Just be smart if you are planning to buy or sell, now is the time for selling not buying, don't ride with the FOMO if you believe that the same scenario will happen in 2017.
2625  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 17, 2020, 11:24:39 PM
With Bitcoin's present value, $17k is established and higher value is feasible before the year runs out. We have more to hit in 2021, especially from April, my advise for every holder is that you should not wait to get the unimaginable price value before you start selling ,some predictions like $300k are in view and by the time you keep waiting for this. Time up! Bull run may be over.

It's okay to hold but holding everything might not be a good idea here, yes, sell some if you spot a profit already as it's impossible for bitcoin to continue pushing the price without seeing it falling back, just like the old days, we are still following the same trend here.
2626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 16, 2020, 11:16:32 PM
Rigging up games isnt that something surprising but on todays era where i cant see any games that do have some shady decision calls by refs.
There's still a lot today mate, but they are careful with it as we already have a media where people can freely published what they see, so it will be easy for people to know and the organization as a whole will be affected. I know one ref admitted that he is rigging the game but he did not say it was the order by the organization or the top management, it was only for his personal interest.
2627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 16, 2020, 11:04:10 PM
It is really common to see many people losing more money while trying to recover. I had some periods like that too. I learned something from it. The most important thing is not being greedy. When you lose the control, greed can cause you make stupid bets and lose much more money. You should always keep that in mind when betting.
Yes but it is needed to rest for awhile, for me do not play until you are not yet recover I mean when you are still regretting that you have so much losses i think you should stop that and start to think and to move forward because as much as you think about it you will only get so much possibility to lose, so do not play and lost more.

Clear your minds so you'll think properly, why are we surprise of losing when that is normal in gambling?

If we have that kind of mentality all the time, then I would say we will be having some problem in the long run because we don't know how to manage our emotion, hence our bankroll management will be affected and most likely regrets will come in the end.
2628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 13, 2020, 03:02:55 PM
In theory, sounds perfect! Now it is time back to face with reality, the gambling mindset is totally different than what we think we will do. Many gamblers look for easy and fast money by betting on random events, so the final outcome is against their winning chance with a 0-1 score. Chasing losses is the shortcut to limit the more losses and saving time, otherwise, the gambler is supposed to keep playing a few more days in order to go back to the start point.

you have a point here i really think it's really hard to recover especially if you have at least 2 consecutive losses. in order for you to recover from it and take profit from it you should really have to increase your bet so in other words you are using a martingale strategy so once you at least one winning you would be able to get profit from it.

Remained discipline and you'll be able to recover if you will learn from your mistake.

Winning and losing 10 in a row is possible in gambling, so 2 losses is not hard enough to get back in a positive track.

Your bankroll management is required and should be followed at all times to ensure you will last longer in sports betting, without the discipline, you will not succeed even if you have to start with a decent bankroll.
2629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 is launched on: November 13, 2020, 02:44:57 PM
With the presence of ethereum 2.0 it will have an effect on the current value of ethereum which is still below average value and investors will invest more in ethereum because this coin has long been in demand and investors are confident with this coin has the potential so they have high hopes to make a big profit for the future,we expect ethereum will continue to grow until it can rival the value of bitcoin.
Hopefully the effect is big, investors will surely going to ride with the hype as the market is already bullish now.
If ETH will also pumped, I'm sure it will help a lot of ETH tokens to follow the run, and that we can call a real bull run.

What is happening now is only bitcoin bull run, when we say bull run, it involves the entire market, which means including the altcoins, which until now we are not seeing it yet as although some altcoins are bullish but overall it's not.
2630  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: November 13, 2020, 02:17:52 PM
Readiness should start with the people, bitcoin is just a currency, it will stay whether we use it or not.
Being a worldwide currency is possible because as of now anyone can use it since it's decentralized, so no one could stop.

However, if we are talking of adoption, it needs educating people about bitcoin which is not easy and unlikely to happen for everyone to understand the use of bitcoin as it's not really useful for everyone, look, we have fiat system, people get used to it already, so why change?

Because bitcoin is an online currency, how about online banking with fiat currency?
2631  Economy / Economics / Re: USA and USA dollar problem Biden government new Challenges on: November 13, 2020, 01:54:09 PM
Every president aspirant already know what they will face and will be handling once they win the election, and they believe they can handle that. For me, I would just remain positive that Biden will be able to improve USA and solve whatever problems they are facing now, most especially an economic problem.

People trust him to solve the problem of the state and they want him to succeed, that's why he won, though unofficial still.
2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 13, 2020, 11:24:25 AM
Being nervous is normal when you are betting a decent amount and that would affect your finances when you lose, but if you still stay at the line of "bet what you can afford to lose", I guess you'll still be alright and that pain you will feel when you lose is just going to be a short lived one.

I think that "bet what you can afford to lose" will be the important thing that we should remember because if that is not in our dictionary, we will always use more money to bet. Some people will feel losing money for a long time, and they can not erase that feeling for some time. We can apply that thing before we play gambling so that we can avoid a big loss.

Maybe we have different definition of that words, for me, it's betting that you can still continue your life and you will not struggle financially when you lose, it might affect us but it will not affect our responsibility to provide the needs especially to our family.

Everyone can gamble but not everyone is capable, especially those who have some financial problem as gambling is not good for them.
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020 on: November 13, 2020, 10:56:47 AM
The reality is that 9 of 10 campaigns won't worth your time. But the 10th one will pay all of these campaign where you spend your time. Everyone is comppaining here about the very low bounty rewards, but there isn't any more profitable job online for people that don't have skills to do any high skill jobs. Smiley

I guess that if we are going to compare the bounty campaign from 2018-2019 where this year was really doomed to me. I mean its really good and really worse, and this 2020 it maybe small rewards but at least you are compensated with your worked unlike during 2018-2019 is not up to the present no payment that has been send to any of the participants, poor bounty hunters isn't?

The best years for bounty was the year 2017 and early 2018, after that, ICO projects are slowly going down due to big number of scams and it loses its reputation, in fact, I still have a lot of bounty coins and tokens I earn the aforementioned years, and until now I'm still keeping it.

Until now, bounty has still not recovered, just like most of the altcoins that have been struggling to even keep their ICO price.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: November 13, 2020, 10:39:28 AM
Look, nobody wants to watch this fight again including me.
Fury is to smart for Wilder, and looking Wilder behaving like a little desperate girl will only push away Fury even more.
Let him first fight with Joshua, and later we can consider having that trilogy Smiley

No, there are still fans out there who wants to see this fight, before Wilder got defeated by Fury, he already have a lot of fans and some of these fans will remain loyal and hopefully Wilder will be able to bring back his reputation again. Wilder is not an amateur fighter, he has an impressive record so he is still a dangerous fighter and in fact we can look at the betting odds that is telling he still is.

Tyson Fury Vs. Deontay Wilder 3 Odds: The Early Betting Money Is Being Wagered On ‘Bronze Bomber’

Quote
One sports book, BetOnline.ag, listed Fury last week as a -220 favorite (wager $220 to win $100) and Wilder as a +180 underdog (win $180 on a $100 bet). Since then, Fury’s odds have moved to -260 and Wilder is at +220 on that site.
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 13, 2020, 09:22:55 AM
I don’t see an impact in the gambling industry in the US election. The only affected at the moment are those who bet who might win between Trump and Biden, as Trump is eager to do investigations and not ready to concede and step down. On the other hand world leaders already recognised the victory of Biden over Trump, goodluck to the United States with their new leader.
He has forced manual recount of votes in some states as I heard some news regarding that in states like Georgia the counting of the votes will be done manually. I do not understand why Trump cannot accept his defeat gracefully and at least save the image that is being created right now in other countries as comical. Everyone is laughing at US and their system right now.

People who had bets on this election will finally get all their bets settled by January 20 as I was reading some article that on 20th Jan the new president takes the chair from the previous one so not much of an issue for bettors apart from the painful wait.

Some other sites are paying out already, what would be the scenario if Trump would be declared as the winner and there was a fraud happening?
Trump can't just give way to Biden, he is in the position and he has every reason to ask for a recount and if the court would approve that, then it will happen. But January 20, that's next year more than 2 months for now, that's a long wait for the winners.  Cry
2636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 13, 2020, 08:39:41 AM
In other words, can't wait for the new season to start!  Cool
That, I understand.  Grin

About CP3 joining the Clippers. It is possible.
But that means letting go of some key players.
Montrezl Harrell (UFA)
Lou Williams still got 1 year. (correct me if I'm wrong)
Just imagine letting go of 2 winners of the "6th man of the year". No way. That's like the MVP for bench players.

I don't think that's the real issue behind the Clippers team. Something bad happened that we don't see.
Might be locker room issues. Even if they recruit CP3, it won't change a thing if that issue remains.

If there's someone would leave, I think they can let go of PG for CP3, but that would be so stupid since PG came from OKC, and no way he will go back their when he was already traded for Danilo Gallinari. A team that is full of stars is not anymore needed with the Clippers as they already have Kawhi Leonard who is proven a legit superstar that could carry a team.
2637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 13, 2020, 08:23:09 AM
Well since I saw it, is it really true that the said bounty pay their participants in parts? Why don't they pay them one time in full? What is the logic behind it? Now many more questions are being created by such a method of paying bounty hunters. I never encountered such bizarre method of managing bounties. That would make participants dubious and not enthusiastic with the project.
The logic is very simple, they don't want bounty hunters to dump their reward, so they did he distribution in parts but to be honest, there's only a little effect on the price of the coin based on my observation. I think what the team has to improve is to find a good and a liquid exchange so even if bounty hunters will dump, it would not hurt the project.
2638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: November 12, 2020, 11:57:51 PM
Don't look at the short term price improvement, look for the long term, bitcoin is bullish already now and IMO it's not right to ride on it now if you want some better price, wait until the price dump and then start accumulating.

Thing is, bitcoin could go $20,000 anytime soon but it's also possible to dump at $10,000, but that is just a short term action as some experts even believe that bitcoin will hit $100,000. Just keep believing and accumulating at the right timing, your future is quite good here as the adoption is already increasing.
2639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Kell Brook vs Terence Crawford November 14 on: November 12, 2020, 11:41:06 PM

For someone who is looking for the underdogs, then former champ Brook is your man here.  Grin, 9-1 odds.

I'm willing to gambling on that odds for as much as $100, that would be a sweet return if there's an upset in this game.

Saying good luck to everyone whichever side you are betting, let's hope for a clean fight and an exciting one.
2640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 12, 2020, 11:30:18 PM
Why did he moved to Rockets and wanted to play with Harden if he wants out so quickly, what was he expecting when he got there?

As usual, a better roster for his championship goal. However, it got failed.

It's clear that Westbrook stated before that he might play for the Rockets for only 1 season. But still, the Rockets give him a good long-term contract. From what I observed, the Rockets want to retain Westbrook for a long. But since Westbrook shared the same role with Harden, maybe he thinks his talent might be good to other teams instead.

But because of limited time in the off-season, I doubt that a trade involving Westbrook will happen before the start of the NBA season.

I think Westbrook's contract was still the same with the OKC as he was traded to the Rockets, he will only be signed if they will keep him until the contract will expire, Rockets are paying westbrooks contract based on what he signed with OKC but when he will be traded, they will have no obligation to it but only to the players that they would acquire in exchange to him.
