2621  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC always Decouple on: November 03, 2022, 10:30:28 AM
my conclusion is BTC decouple most of the equity markets. BTC has own way. So lets trust the timeline

Sometimes BTC will move or react similarly with traditional markets, and sometimes it wont. The trick is to not deal with absolutes; because it's not couple or decouple — it could be either depending on what specific reason(s) move the market.
2622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin reaches 19 million BTC mined. on: November 03, 2022, 09:59:01 AM
Well, the fact never changes that the block reward will be cut into half again and so the price could be doubled from the last ATH or even more.

Quick reminder: After every single block halving, obviously the BTC that's being decreased block decreases as well. I'd like to play devil's advocate(though it shouldn't really be controversial) and say that the next halving would have less positive market effect compared to the past halvings.
2623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would this Lead to the Mass Adoption of Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2022, 07:29:57 AM
Even if bitcoin gets implemented for the checkmark's payment, it's highly likely to only be used by the huge minority and saying that it will be "mass adoption" would be pushing it; people in general would simply just use the typical PayPal/creditcard/debitcard payment.

In the end though, baby steps. Not because it's not a major adoption event doesn't necessarily mean it's not a good thing.
2624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading pair not found on Tradingview, how to add it? on: November 03, 2022, 06:20:11 AM
If the coin is traded on an exchange and decentralized exchanges, is it necessary to use TradingView to check it? I am not using TradingView, the only reason I wanted to use it before was alert but which I can get directly from the exchange I am using now, but I know there are some trading indicators alerts that people can use on TradingView, but why it is special than checking the airdrop coins on those exchanges directly where it is listed?

Precisely — people like using TradingView to be able to use indicators and stuff, and probably to compare charts on a single graph. Not sure why you'd want to use indicators on coins/tokens that are illiquid though.
2625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading pair not found on Tradingview, how to add it? on: November 03, 2022, 05:52:52 AM
I can't check because you didn't mention the token, but probably try DexScreener? If you haven't tried it yet: https://dexscreener.com/
2626  Other / Meta / Re: We should have a "who is satoshi" subforum on: November 03, 2022, 05:29:02 AM
Unnecessary. A single megathread would do.

Also, there are far better ways of spending time than hunting for Satoshi. Finding who he/she/they is/are won't do us any good in the first place (assuming we actually find out in the end).
2627  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are like a digital prison but Bitcoin is the key on: November 03, 2022, 03:49:25 AM
They are really two sides of the same coin. With the exception that paper currencies are safer because they are secured by a fixed reserve of gold, while the electronic version is more dangerous to the economy since it can be created from scratch and is easy to manipulate.

Uh.. we we're off the gold standard for a couple of decades now. Most (if not all) fiat currencies have been backed by air for a while now.

2628  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are like a digital prison but Bitcoin is the key on: November 02, 2022, 04:22:17 PM
We all want the freedom that we have today where cash has privacy and the government or anyone can't take our BTC unless at gunpoint.

But just to play devil's advocate. There is actually a good side if we use CBDC. Just think about it. Most crimes if not a crime of passion are often because of money. Financial reason. As they said it's the root of all evil.

If you look at the whole picture, we might actually see real peace when everyone is on CBDC. And then anyone who commits a crime including corrupt government officials will be traced. Anyone who received a huge amount of money will be noticed and identified and will be subject to investigation. With that said, a person who plans to commit a crime will think twice about doing it. Innit good?

If control and less privacy was the solution for peace, then crime would probably be next to non-existent already. But alas, crime still exists even in cashless societies.

WORLD PEACE. If Putin does bad, put zero on his balance.
CBDC =/= 1 world currency
2629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quox Capital on: November 02, 2022, 04:02:31 PM
Legit or not, one thing's for sure — the website seems amateurishly made for a platform in this day and age. Is there even anything that this exchange has(that other existing platforms like Binance doesn't) that made you want to use it?
2630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking For good signals channels on: November 02, 2022, 03:39:20 PM
*snip*

You're looking for something that's pretty much nonexistent. Guess what — if I was some very successful trader, chances are, I'd use my knowledge for myself and profit from it, not share it with a good number of people for a couple hundred bucks.
2631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: <Bitcoin Creation> Dr. Craig Faketoshi Failed another Satoshi Test Again. on: November 02, 2022, 02:25:23 PM
But franky1, it doesn't matter if Craig Wright held Satoshi's keys or not, because even if he did hold Satoshi's keys, he still WOULDN'T BE THE ACTUAL INVENTOR of Bitcoin. It's not about who is holding the keys, because the keys cannot make someone assume another person's actual identity.

I guess that's true, but he could've at least received a good amount of legitimacy(hence more supporters) if he actually had the Satoshi keys and signed a message. But alas, he's all talk because he actually doesn't have the keys.
2632  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 02, 2022, 01:05:26 PM
Your thread is somewhat decent, something something no one knows what will happen. But at the same time you somewhat give the impression that you know better than others lol. In the end, the "pump" may come tomorrow, or next week, or next month, or next year, or in 5 years, etc etc. Only time will tell.
2633  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast will Bitcoin fall down? on: November 02, 2022, 12:53:28 PM
How reliable is Bitcoin, what will it be if someone will generate a new blockchain or another digital currency, will it make bitcoin fall down, and how fast?

New and new cryptocurrencies are literally made by the hour. It's just that most cryptocurrencies created today are pretty much like pseudo-equity. Bitcoin pretty much won the currency/SoV category, and every cryptocurrency that tried to beat bitcoin in that category has failed.
2634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: <Bitcoin Creation> Dr. Craig Faketoshi Failed another Satoshi Test Again. on: November 02, 2022, 12:24:10 PM
Probably one of the worst frauds ever? You'd figure that if a certain person has invested so much time and money in pretending to be a certain person that he should be at least spending a lot more time in making sure what he's saying is accurate.
2635  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggestions for a Good Domain Name for a Crypto Exchange, Bitcoins worth $30 on: November 02, 2022, 12:11:31 PM
Plus, any name can fit. It doesn't have to have crypto, bitcoin, coin, chain, exchange and such in it. Just look as Binance. Just look at Gemini! OP can brand whatever he likes as long as he finds a domain for it.

However, I've looked up one that's free and OP can use as example for combining known words, if he doesn't have any better idea:

Code:
knight-exchange.com

Agree on everything, just that I personally wouldn't recommend a domain with a dash(-) as much as possible. With that example, something like knightex.com or knightexchange.com would be far better options.
2636  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggestions for a Good Domain Name for a Crypto Exchange, Bitcoins worth $30 on: November 02, 2022, 10:16:36 AM
Probably not the answer you want — but probably don't overthink the domain name that much for now. Running an exchange successfully is hard enough in this overly saturated market. Having a great domain is great, but it's only a minor factor in the grand scheme of things.

Also take note that if you actually make it successfully in the end, you could just rebrand or change domains to a better one.
2637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why doesn't Bitcoin consider a low interest rate mechanism to fight deflation? on: November 02, 2022, 05:28:41 AM
Not sure if you would like centralized exchanges and whales to have more and more bitcoin with time just by holding, then dump all those earned BTC all over our faces.
2638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price from October 31, 2010 to October 31, 2022 on: November 01, 2022, 05:21:00 PM
Meanwhile, regarding the 14th Anniversary Bitcoin Whitepaper SEC Chairman Gary Gensler conveyed his birthday year to Bitcoin Whitepaper written by Satoshi Nakamoto “Happy 14th birthday to Satoshi Nakamoto whitepaper! This has led to the innovation and investment of crypto assets. Let's make sure as crypto enters its 15th year that investors are properly protected," SEC chairman Gary Gensler said in a Twitter post.

Unfortunately the path they wanted to take is most likely "protection" through egregious AML/KYC requirements. Gary Gensler and company can honestly go f*ck themselves.
2639  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 01, 2022, 04:18:57 PM
A commission-based job — easily. I'd prefer me having to earn more when I outperform and/or work harder rather than having a "safe" salary. It really depends on a case to case basis though; someone in a bad financial situation might want a stabler income especially if he/she sort of lacks the skills and connections.
2640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Iancoleman BIP39 Site Changed Domain from .io to .ch? on: November 01, 2022, 02:39:28 PM
Just a heads up: Install an open-source and reputable ad blocking plugin such as uBlock Origin[1] so you wouldn't be getting those scam advertisements.
