2621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: January 26, 2023, 11:37:37 PM
^^  I don't know, but Paulie M. is already retired long time ago I not sure if we can value what he had said, he had a good career, no doubt, but he was not great to be honest, pillow fisted fighter, all he do is bark and with no bite, and when Cotto broke his jaw, it was over for him as his career didn't go up after that huge beating he got.

Anyway back on topic, Ryan says that he knows what Tank is doing, playing mind games already specially with what he says about his PED accusations. So he is ready by any attack from Tank's camp and on the other hand, he can throw his trash talk as well which he has been doing for the last couple of years. So I guess the feeling is mutual about this two with their accusations and verbal abuse.

Well, we cannot deny that Tank is a boxer who is like from the old school, he knows many things, he knows how to face the psychological factor, and of course he takes advantage of the networks to do what some friends say here is a "Psycho-terror" "It is something that is used a lot to cause fear to the rival, that is why Garcia says those things, because he knows very well what he is doing, however these boxers are as they say here: they are "old foxes" you know very well Well, they always look for a way to make an entire show by letting people know many things that only they handle in the ring, and in this there is of course an associated "pique", something that we all know.

I don't think he is form old school though, we have this new era of social media and that's where boxers like Ryan and Tank do their talking. Unlike before wherein they just want to face the best in their division, but now it's totally different.

Mind games have existed before though, Ali for example is one of those who open his mouth and trash his opponent even inside the ring.

But he can back all the talking because he is the GOAT. Unlike new boxers in this era, they are afraid to face the best and would likely be protected because boxing is now more of a business side.

Because back then there were only two promotions, Bob Arum's and Don King's and there are two boxing organizations WBC and WBA now we have 4 or 5 boxing promotions and 4  boxing governing bodies, and boxers are protected by their promotions
because they are their cash cows, they imitated the MMA and WWE promotions where you can fight boxers in your promotions a big shift from the old times when boxers can fight just anybody and their promoters and the governing bodies will allow them.
2622  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betrefs.gg | The Best Social Gambling Society ✌️ | Special Bonuses And More !🌟 on: January 26, 2023, 10:49:41 PM
OP's site is good but he should change the title of the article page to casino reviews at first I though everything is just a compilation of casinos with referral codes I have to roam around to see that he is also reviewing casinos but you have to look for it, it should be prominently displayed because gamblers love to read review sites and check ratings before they join a casino.
2623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 26, 2023, 09:57:50 PM
<snip>

I think he has a point. But to me, I think gambling in physical casinos is more enjoyable than playing on the phone, online. On the other hand, he already stated the reasons why gambling online is more addictive than playing in traditional casinos. Some other factors might be because it consumes less energy (which makes you play continuously for many hours) on top of it, you have all the means to deposit and play anytime.

You can also play long hours in physical casinos too, much longer in online casinos, I have known several guys who spent 2 to 3 days in casinos because everything is already provided in the casinos like food drinks hotels, and entertainment, that is why casinos are situated inside the hotels, the ambiance in physical casinos is to make your stay long hours and spend more, both platforms are addictive you cannot escape addiction if you have no control in how you gamble.
2624  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paypal are scammers like the FTX bitcoin exchange on: January 26, 2023, 09:28:02 PM

OP, is there no way you could retrieve your card details? Is it that hard to communicate with the issuer and ask for those?
There should be a way to do that if he got it from a bank all he needs to do is to ask the bank about the card details even if it is lost the bank will grant his request because he has the right to that information or have you not linked that card to any online platform so you can easily retrieve it, I understand OP's sentiment as I faced a similar issue about my account getting locked with funds on it, they can only grant your request if you cooperate based on what they asked for, even if you verified your account.
2625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 26, 2023, 02:53:46 PM
They cannot launch without a bankroll and just wait for gamblers to lose before they can pay their winners, I don't think any casino can sustain that those who do this have the intention to scam gamblers after they launch their casino, I've seen one thread asking for proof of funds which is an ideal for a new casino to gain the trust of the gambling community, but casinos will not do this because it will be a battle of proof of funds to gain more players.
The worst that can happen to a new casino is to have winners and they cannot keep up because of lack of funds, they will be reported and will eventually lose players.
2626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason why I will never help anyone to invest in crypto on: January 26, 2023, 08:24:25 AM

There are some people like six of them who are troublesome to me, they don't want to learn but they like the success stories surrounding crypto investment, not sure about the risk side, the funny thing is they want me to help them invest and choose coins for them, to me this is like breaking the rules of crypto investment, meaning they have no knowledge about what they are investing money on.

I have never done that and will never do that the one who teaches me how to invest taught me what to look and not following him on what to invest, because of the volatility of the market, you will end getting a blame if the coins that you picked to your friends crash in the market and never recovered, I advice them its their money so they have to decide for themselves.

Quote
If you are in same position like me, no matter how much you like someone or want the best for them do not help them to invest in crypto, they are lazy asses who can't get anything done on their own, and this type of game I don't play it because, in the end, you will become their enemy.  It's already happening and I just ignored them. Is anyone seeing the same thing in their city or country?

There are so many people in our country because of ignorance and their perception of Cryptocurrency, choose to rely to people who are long time investors to pick the right coins to invest, they claimed to be overwhelmed by the technology behind it and you are right, too lazy to learn how these things work because it really takes time and effort to learn how to invest and profit.
2627  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Amazing Gambling-DeFi System on: January 25, 2023, 11:52:50 PM
I don't need to go more further about this site but I am sensing something phishy about it, any platform that will requires participants to connect their wallet is at a very high risk. Btw, what are the trust level to ask users to connect their wallet to the platform, is there no other methods for someone to join if I may ask?

OP already stated that this is a DeFi or Decentralized Finance
Quote
Decentralized finance, or DeFi, uses emerging technology to remove third parties and centralized institutions from financial transactions.
So the only way to join is to connect your wallet if you're trading on Pancakeswap you have to link to trade and its not high risk because it's just the way how DeFi works, you just take the code and the reputation of the platform based on reviews and users' experience.
2628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We lose on the long run through return percentage on: January 25, 2023, 10:58:47 PM

I just googled the return percentage of online casinos and saw different percentages that doesn't seem real. A slot machine can be written to pay out 98%, but its programmed to pay 90% and it's publicized that way to attract more people to play using that slot. Though one slot could be paying out that amount in the casino, yet my point is that no casino offers 100 percent payout that means if a slot pays out 94 percent for every 100 dollar bill spent on that machine the player losses 6$ to the casino. That is if you play longer times you'll lose, and we can almost never stay atop of the slot machines after long period of plays, unless you win a jackpot. Even if you win a huge amount, you can lose. They are numerous stories of people who won the jackpot and ended up spending the whole money back on the casino within a short period, 1 or 2 years, they lost the jackpot.

Isn't it?

Inspired by Jean Scott - Frugal Gambler

It's already an established fact that the longer you play in one session the higher the chances you lose, whether you play online or offline, the casino edge always plays out and when it comes to slots whether you play online or offline is very hard to do a repeat of the jackpot, you should be very lucky to be able to win another jackpot in just a short period of time, if there's something like chasing your losses, there is such a thing as striking while the iron is hot in gambling, two things that gamblers need to avoid.
2629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 25, 2023, 09:37:16 PM

Well, we cannot blame those fans who are expecting much from Donaire; he's one of the great boxers out there which means expectations are high on his end. Which makes it not surprising to know that his recent fights were veing compared to his previous or career fights which showed how dominant he was on his weight class. But this one I think Nonito has the advantage with speed not unless Moloney would surpass his agility trainings. Would be a good fight on my end. Been a fan of Nonito for years and I think it would be great for his comeback to win this match big time. Hopefully he'd be on top condition during the fight.

Donaire is looking for one last big fight and he wants to end his career with another title, every boxer whose career is in the twilight will like to have that graceful exit, I just hope he'll get it this time and finally retire, a title on his belt will vanish that nightmare loss
to Inoue, because the boxing history book and people always remember your last fight.
I hope Donaire will finally consider retirement if he wins the fight and the title, that's the best time to retire.
2630  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE UNISWAP and OP Airdrop on: January 25, 2023, 09:02:08 PM
If you're active in investing, airdrops, and bounty campaigns the first thing that you need to do is how to differentiate a fake site and airdrop from a real one, and how to secure your coin, I have seen some people losing instead of gaining because of ignorant, you never link your wallet to platforms without checking if the platforms are legit, and you never linked it to wallets where you have funds on it, ignorance and carelessness are the two factors why so many got scammed.
2631  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Betincrypto.org 🚀 Crypto Bookies & Casino Reviews 🔥 on: January 25, 2023, 03:23:55 PM
Thank you for placing Stake in the number one spot on your casino review site, they deserve to be in the top spot they are one of the industry giants and have done a lot of innovation in the gambling industry, they have taken part in all big events in the sporting world, I think the cons are ignorable as long as their strong points are acceptable by gamblers.
There are a lot of good casinos here in this forum please do check them all new and old ones so gamblers will have an insight on what casinos are worth adding to their list.
2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 25, 2023, 02:51:53 PM
It's going to be the norm of being asked for KYC I believed, so you should be ready when one casino will ask you to do that. I guess it's the question of practice though, as the OP mentioned, it's only when the bettors won big that suddenly the casino will ask you to submit info. And when you comply, still, there are suspicious and then you might not get your winnings, hence there is a scam accusations against the casino itself. So it's better to ask for KYC in the beginning for me, and not get gamblers info false idea that they won't be getting KYC'ed.

Unfortunately, so many casinos are not doing this, they allow people to join and do nothing while betting, there are people who already wagered 5 digits without being asked to do KYC, then they asked when the players are about to cashout huge amounts of money that's where the issue for the player start, besides the long wait they are in agony if the casino will release their earnings.

The scam section is full of these players wagered 5 to 6 digits with no KYC then the casino asks for KYC when the player wins a big amount only to be accused of cheating or having multi-account.
2633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 25, 2023, 01:19:16 PM

Ticket sales on this fight is guaranteed as they are champions and both are popular. We don't see big fight like this all the time, that's why fans are surely willing to spend money just to watch this fight whether in the venue or through PPV. They can continue throwing words against each other now as it will continue increase the value of this fight and that would help to sold out the tickets and PPV subscription.

This fight is three years in the making but for one reason to another it never happen, but now that the two fighters show eagerness
that they want to clash this year, and both promoters agreed to make this fight happen, it could not happen if Gervonta did not get out of Mayweather's promotion, because Mayweather clearly stated that they want all his fighters to fight in the house or under the same promotion, so they can protect his cash cow and make money.
Everything on Mayweather promotions are all about making money not for legacy.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 24, 2023, 11:39:14 PM
I still believe that Donaire can still pull this one off, his loss against Inoue was because of miscalculations I'm sure he learned his lesson well, he is still fast, strong and wise in the ring, Jason Moloney is good but he is not Inoue to beat Donaire, this fight is not yet official, because so many contenders are on the list to make titles contention now that all the belts are vacant so many name is coming up, but if this fight happens Donaire has a good chance to take the belt.
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 24, 2023, 01:42:47 PM
I have a discussion with a close relative about online gambling and he said something that about how he hate gambling online because it's too addictive, he claimed real life casinos are better and less addictive because he will have to drive down to Las Vegas to gamble or drive down to a local casino and this still takes some physical effort and it discourages many people from frequenting gambling.

He said with online gambling it's available on through mobile phones and you can play at any time, this means no shortage of gambling around the clock and no shortage of losing money as well, you can easily pull out your phone and gamble with any free time, a bit compulsive and too accessible.

What do you think about this claim? Is he right or wrong?

He has a good point but to gamblers, it's not about getting hooked or not, its what will make them enjoy the games, you cannot force yourself to play at Physical casinos because it is less harmful than online gambling, it where you enjoy the most, the fact is online gambling is beating offline casinos because of the fairness, accessibility, and easiness of using the platform and besides even if you're playing in offline casinos if you do not have control of yourself you will still become addictive to gambling.
2636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 24, 2023, 04:49:11 AM
It would require a large set of cahoona's and a hell of a lot of confidence to open publicly deem yourself as a founder of a casino or gambling platform. Especially with the known fact that there are angry losers out there.

Even if we like owners to doxxed themselves for the sake of reputation, that will put the casino at risk because gamblers even if they lose fairly will still complaints, we have reports of gamblers losing fairly but still filing a scam accusations and posting hate remarks it will not only harm the owners but their family and their associate as well.
Casinos with doxxed owners will eventually close the casino if they attack their families and those close to them, casinos are one of the platforms where the owners need not be doxxed to gain a reputation, its enough that they do their best to maintain their reputation by treating their players fairly.
2637  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: January 23, 2023, 11:36:34 PM
This is my contribution to this thread there are actually lots of good ones but this one is personal and still trying to apply to my gambling session.

“Hoping to recoup is what ruins the gambler.”

Quote

“Hoping to recoup is what ruins the gambler.”– Baltasar Gracián y Morales, a 17th century philosopher.

I'm surprised that this philosophy already exists in the 17th century I thought, just recently or in our generation where gambling is very rampant.
2638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheat the Lottery Winner on: January 23, 2023, 10:37:43 PM
You will really know the character of a person when entrusted with a big amount of money, that's a big amount and he deliberately deceives the real winner of his winning, the winner should be partly to blame here, it a lottery win there is a way to become anonymous but not entrusting your winning to one's person even to your family, the winner should charge his cousin for fraud.
This could happen to anyone, when it comes to the lottery win, claim it yourself its a once in a lifetime jackpot not to claim it yourself.
2639  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Amazing Gambling-DeFi System on: January 23, 2023, 09:06:03 PM
Its very very easy to play, you only new to connect your Metamask Wallet with BSC network (for the moment I only see this network) with some BNB to play. There are tickets of 0.01, 0.1,.. BNBs...

Its realy amazing and The REAL DEAL its the staking with END token. Now the return per 1 END in 7 days is 0.4086 BNB.
Every time you play with BNB you get the same quantity of END.

And, I dont know the creator.

More clear now?

since it is a defi ecosystem and not accepting btc, this should not be here in this board. maybe move to service announcements (altcoins) section. in any case, a player should dig more about this END token. it may be giving good returns for now to attract new users, but later on, it won't give anymore just like many abandoned platforms.
what i am wondering is why need to be referred to win in the stake? it seems dubious for me though.
The video introduction is a very clear and straightforward, a good introduction to a new kind of game, the end token of this game is not yet in any exchange they should put a link to a decentralized exchange where it can be purchased, I agree that this kind of announcement that is not Bitcoin related should be in the altcoin service, they have a good potential in the DeFi gambling industry if they launch a marketing campaign for this token.
2640  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Memes! on: January 23, 2023, 03:54:35 PM
Just saw this on google and it's originated from a Twitter post which I'll be linking for the source on the image.

Yeah, and the 10% are those that keeps on going because they can feel that they're about to hit the jackpot. We all do have that thinking that when we quit, we should have won already.

I just think that this is the best gambling meme, we all like that we want to quit but we still believe that we are a session away from hitting the jackpot, but the truth is we really don't want to give up and we enjoy gambling, we just want to have an alibi to continue and this is probably the best alibi you can come out, I still have this mindset honestly but at least I'm not chasing my losses.
