2641  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: June 26, 2015, 01:35:30 PM
If you can't understand what they are saying, then most likely they are off topic, no?
I report the posts that make completely NO SENSE whatsoever to me.

you're right, of course. it's just that I understand broken English very well. (I've been there)  Tongue

Yeah, this. I usually give them a polite warning that they should stick to their local board if they have trouble with English (you can send them a PM too if you prefer giving them some friendly advice). If they still spam in their local board then the moderator of that board should pick up on it and deal with it appropriately.

I'll do that, thanks. I'll also PM an Indonesian mod asking them to add some kind of warning in the sticky there.
2642  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: June 26, 2015, 01:04:40 PM
I can't comment on the spam in the Indonesian board, but I do know a lot of the spammers with poor English posting everywhere else are often from Indonesia but it's usually the newbs/Jnrs/Members etc but they get to Full Member eventually if they don't get banned.

well, yeah. I thought about warning/reporting them but I wasn't sure if (very) broken English are a subject for moderation.
should I report those?

---------------------------
was there any warning to Indonesian board before? if there's no warning then this is just unfair.
2643  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: June 26, 2015, 12:51:22 PM
* UPDATE *
Due to many spam messages we have stopped pay for Indonesian board.

can you list some of the spam messages? I don't see many spams on indonesian board, most of users that have bitmixer signature are actually discussing just like they do in any other board

2652  Economy / Services / Re: Coinomat.com - Signature Campaign! [STARTED] on: June 26, 2015, 08:44:06 AM
Hello all  Wink Since now I will try to reduce spam on this campaign !
I changed how the bot count characters for your post , Now the bot will
clean the post before counting it , Quotes and vague spaces ... Won't be
counted anymore . Just your own words will be counted from now   Wink .
So good luck everyone .

Bitcoin Boy .

wished that could wait till next week, but I guess this is alright.

how about the excluded boards? does posts in off-topic still count?

Posts must be

* min 75 chars
* not in Off Topic
* Quote and other code is excluded

does that summarize the changes?

uh.. what? I still don't know if posts made in off-topic section still count, that's why I asked bitcoin_boy$.
2653  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any genuine cloud mining company on: June 26, 2015, 07:14:22 AM

2654  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is this user cheating coinomat ? on: June 26, 2015, 07:09:50 AM
UPDATE
looks like Bitcoin_BOy$ (marco's colleague) will be helping coinomat with their signature campaign now. quoted and spaces and whatnot will be discounted from now on.

try cex.io ...... I know it's the only genuine cloud mining company ...... others all are basically ponzi schemes  Huh

Cex.io stopped mining a few months ago, since prices are down. Did they start again, recently?

no they didn't.

to OP
no I don't think there's any genuine cloud mining company. but we'll never know that for sure until we get scammed.

2658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminals/thieves/hackers who have been tracked via the blockchain? on: June 25, 2015, 10:51:44 PM
I have heard of several people having their Coinbase accounts closed for sending btc to darknet markets, and I recall that guy who sent coins he won fraudulently from a casino directly to a exchange (I think it was bitstamp, maybe bter?) and having them frozen.

Are there any other examples you folks can think of where people have been tracked over the blockchain? Has law enforcement ever caught anyone this way?

If there is a list or another post/thread on this subject I would appreciate being pointed to it.

Thanks

I can only think of one person that got tracked over the blockchain. the sheep marketplace owner (forgot his name)

oh, and try searching for "Moolah bitcoins"

2660  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is this user cheating coinomat ? on: June 25, 2015, 09:10:12 PM

See the rules:

Rules

- We don't pay for posts in Off-topic and this thread.

(nothing is said about local boards, so they are meant to be accepted)

ok. my mistake, I guess.

If "everyone" knows that off-topics posts are paid, then "everyone" is cheating coinomat(or at least those who post in off topic). My two posts have less than 74 characters length, with some leftover of some BB code playground I made.

you can't just avoid posting on off-topic forever  Undecided save the excuses, btw

Are you sure they are not removed just right before the payment is sent(looks like, unlike bit-x's bots, coinomat's one only count posts, and coinomat manually do the payment)?

I'm sure those posts aren't removed right before the payment. because I made 102 posts last week (a quarter of them are in the off-topic) and still got 0.1BTC

-------------------------------------------------------------------
So the bot essentially doesn't work or do what it's supposed to?  Roll Eyes Does Marco know about this? It works fine on his campaign doesn't it?

I don't think marco know about this but I'm not sure.

It doesn't have anything to do with the actual bot, it works fine. The abusers found a way to game the system, unfortunately.
