here is my win/loss on known gambling sites

bustabit   +2.29 btc
primedice  -0.42
secondtrade -0.2
nitrogensports  +0.51

It would be for us more readable if you wrote from what amount you started and what stakes you play.

Whether someone is rich in largely depend on what amount started ..
I think is a big difference between someone who wins 1 btc starting from amount of 0.001 btgc and someone who bets 1 btc on red in roulette and win by one shot 1 btc.
2642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: May 14, 2016, 03:26:27 PM
Tecnically investing is still a gambling, but its +EV, many sites like bitdice.me or just-dice.com offer investment option.
Absolutely, but it is more safer that gambling solely, as we all know that majority of the gamblers loses in the long so if you are investing in a casino sites you will earn from their losses. As long as there is a house advantage your investment has a good potential to grow.

Certainly in long run you can earn on investing in the casino. Until house edge is on + Wink
But I remember, that was situation on the MoneyPot (there is also option of investment) that one day someone won, if I remember correctly about 23 BTC and a lot of people was surprised when it turned out that on their accounts are missing up to 70% of the funds. . You have to remember that this may also happen.
2643  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: May 14, 2016, 03:11:47 PM
If you are active participant in campaign and trading then you can earn this amount very easily, and if you have other skills then you can also earn by offering services which can be an added advantage.

no need to use a lot of ways, trading enough to make it easy to get 1 BTC in one month, but of course you must have high capital and also quite professional in trade Smiley

You can start trading even with a small capital at initial stage when you are new to it as even if you loose it won't affect much, and once you get experience you can start with high amount.

Trading for a month doesn't actually assure you 1 BTC profit. You can earn much lower than 1 BTC in a month and you can even lose money instead of earning some in trading because there's a lot of risks involved. Since this topic is posted in Beginners & Help section, let's assume OP has very little to no knowledge at all about trading. Smiley

That's how much you can earn on trading depends mostly on how large funds will be rotated, and of course from skills. The fact that someone has new account on bitcointalk does not necessarily mean that it has no experience in trading. This may be his alt-account, or may have very big experience in trading, for example, on Forex.
However, the truth is that Cryptocurrency market is very risky and to earn 1 BTC need a lot of luck.

Amazing how many people here think that one could never make a successful living off of gambling.

Lottery winners are worth millions.

There are many professional gamblers out there (most in the realm of poker and sports betting). Some are worth hundreds of millions.

Anyone who has invested in the stock market or a similar platform is essentially gambling.

Not sure if you want compare trading with gambling, but yes  - altcoin trading for "newbies" is like gambling - one is winning and is spreading this good news, but when 5 or 7 is losing is siting quiet.
Crypto trading is one from the most risking markets. True is, that you can win a lot, but in same moment you can lose everything.

Sometimes i think that gambling is more safe..
2646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: May 12, 2016, 08:16:47 PM
Using bitcoin to gamble makes it very convenient.  It's easy to transfer money and you can get around the legalities easily.  In fact, gambling could be a niche for bitcoin's longer term success.

I agree with you, with bitcoin most of the gamblers doesn't need to go to physical casinos just to play and gamble their. But with bitcoin they can easily gamble even to their houses through online and using bitcoin as their currency.
That's the beauty of bitcoins, it gives us the opportunity to gamble at our own home and at our desired time. With the presence of the online casinos now, we can bet of different gambling types, like poker, blackjack and my favorite sports betting.
lol where have you been? online casinos already exist since over 20 years ago in 1994 if i remember correctly.

you can gamble at your own home since 1994-1995 , you don't need to go to bar to spin the slots. it is not the main goal of bitcoin in gambling industry.

I guess India doesnt allow their users to gambling i dont know why they dont do that, soo there are some people here just working with bitcoin and maybe selling their coins for there local currency, why to block gambling and let drugs? Wouldnt be better to make the opost ,anyway the thing is gambling can ruin life faster then anything, and its true that bitcoin gambling is getting a lot investement as supporters .

Bitcoin is very good solution for the gambling industry, but not for governments.
Gambling in USA is biggest market than NBA, NHL and NFL together. Bitcoin can make that government will lost control over the biggest market - it is impossible.
Casinos are affraid that when implement Bitcoin will have more control from government. That is the greatest barrier for Bitcoin in gambling industry at the moment.

I wonder whether it's possible to become rich from gambling.  The only way I can think of is the lottery.  Obviously there are only a few very lucky people that can win a big lottery.

There is one other way then lottery to win big amount of money. Sell everything what you have end go to casino bet on roulette one color - red or black.
This guy did that and win:

Before he bet he said that if he win he will open internet casiono  Grin
I didn't check whether he kept his word .. Maybe someone will want to look in his story Wink

People playing gambling are now growing because of its anonymity and fast transactions.
Bitcoin is having free advertisements by using bitcoin in gambling, almost all transactions flowing in blockchain is from gambling.

im an example! I want play anything what is probably fair. Not sure, but everyone here is talking only about theory.. Maybe is someone who want to play and will give us link..  Roll Eyes
2652  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: May 10, 2016, 07:19:43 AM
Well I think we all just need to watch this space.

Bitmain are going to deny it until the moment they stick it on their website

Yeah right, because Bitmain would deliberately want to discredit their "partners" wouldn't they?

Not to mention if it was true and Bitmain were still denying it, Moaning Sweden would have a legal right to sue for libel.

I can't see Bitmain wanting to hurt their own business.

Still looks like MS have been caught out selling lies.

I also think that was shady move of Mining Sweden just to bring attention of new customers.
Everyone know that Bitmain is working on new mining rigs, so I don't think they had to deny, if it will be truth.

Why do you think it was shady?

So are you telling me that if you were in the same position and you had an email from Bitmain telling you that S9 was coming out soon, you then would not advertise it on your webshop already to get some extra business?  I mean, its not uncommon for Mining Sweden to advertise pre orders as they did it last year with the S7, allowed people to preorder mining shares before the S7 came out, so there is nothing new there

Not sure what you are trying to input, but from my suggestion "shady" was coming only not correctly penetrated space of bitcoin mining infrastructire.. nothing more!
2653  Economy / Services / Re: Need Ad.fly clicks on: May 09, 2016, 12:59:37 PM
When I used to do the calculation for Ad.fly I relied on such data:

$5 for 10.000 clicks every 5 secods.

to reach minimum it is 10000 * 5 seconds = 50000 secods

50000 / 60 = ~834 minutes  / 60 = 13,9 hour

almost 14 hours without brake to earn $5

Not sure how it looks now, so i can be wrong, but i don't expect that in one year this rates change much.

Everyone can have his own conclusion ..

2655  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone heard of or investing in 'Mining Sweden'? on: May 09, 2016, 11:47:14 AM
Do any one who have account in Mining Sweden can confirm that they announced sale of S9? or is it just a rumor ..? Apparently, this information is on their website..

Yes they are claiming to have pre orders:

BUT

It is not true:

also:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=766448.msg14793954#msg14793954

So, if mining sweden are lying about that, what else are they lying about?

Yep, i already seen this coments from Bitmain.

Well .. it looks like they did a free advertising campaign. It got a lot of buzz around them for this information. Someone will get a bonus.

This puts them in a negative light, but my guess is that they are prepared for such consequences. Let's wait for continuation of this game..
2656  Economy / Services / Re: [SPECTROCOIN.COM] Twitter Campaign on: May 09, 2016, 11:29:34 AM
That is still confusing situation and so many people want to know about the status of this campaign, is that is still running or get expired update the current status of this campaign because there are a lot waiting to get paid there?

same question here, OP is not showing but keep seeing that payments has been done, please OP if you are still open let us know I'm very much willing to work with you, thank in advance.

I understand your confusion, but it seems that in this case the money speak for themselves.
They have already made two payments for the described service, and the topic has not been closed.

The only strange thing is a long pause in the operation of this campaign. But who cares.. Wink

2659  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopay Bitcoin Debit card + Giveaway on: May 09, 2016, 10:04:34 AM
Can you beat spectrocoin's low rates? They have cheaper cards than you, and no loading fee. Could you match/beat them? Because I own both a spectrocoin and a cryptopay card, just like to be able to use both.

Difference between Spectrocoin and Cryptopay is such that with first one is a lot of problems, and with second none.

I also recommend to check difference between purchase price and the selling price - there is always a lot of hidden costs. Wink

Could you voice some of these problems? The only problems I face is being charged in GIP, which is most probably the fault of PayPal.

To be honest, when I tried to register to Spectrocoin I wanted to resign from their services - it takes me a lot of time. But most problems is with 2 factor authorisation - emails delays, no working codes. Even yesterday i tried withdraw little amount of BTC, after 3 attempts i resign. First was wrong code  Huh , second wrong amount  Huh third i don't remember, because i lost my patience.. Maybe today i will try one more time.

From one month with Cryptopay card i had not even one problem. And i use this card a lot. Not big amounts, but very often.
2660  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: May 09, 2016, 09:47:25 AM
I am also waiting for official information. Building up tension as in horror movies Wink
