2643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Veltor on: August 16, 2016, 08:01:44 PM

I see no malware on my end for the wallet.

The wallet is not syncing properly, get the message no block source available for the past 4 days.
Is there a node I need to add for it to sync?

Cheers

Check the OP or simply use:

addnode=veltor.suprnova.cc
2644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: August 16, 2016, 08:00:27 PM
I've added a Port for use with Claymore's Dual miner to the pool.

You can for example now mine ETC and SIA at the same time using Claymore's Miner with this string:

ethdcrminer64.exe -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -dpool sia.suprnova.cc:7777 -dwal suprnova.1 -dpsw x -dcoin sia -allpools 1

The claymore port is on sia.suprnova.cc:7777

I hope some more users will switch over as I've still have 20 % Bonus (per Block!) on the pool so that hashrate is split more evenly and we find more than one block per day on suprnova.

have fun mining guys !
2645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v6.0 (Windows/Linux) on: August 16, 2016, 06:26:04 PM
Claymore Port for Sia added:

sia.suprnova.cc:7777

Claymore string for merged ETC and SIA Mining:

ethdcrminer64.exe -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -dpool sia.suprnova.cc:7777 -dwal suprnova.1 -dpsw x -dcoin sia -allpools 1

Notice: Still 20% BONUS (=MORE) per BLOCK on Sia !

Hashrate on the Dashboard might be a bit flaky, look at https://sia.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=graphs the Graphs, if your Hashrate is stable there - all is good.

seems to be working fine, anyone got issues ?

Great work pallas, gonna tip you some too later

Notice: Still 20% BONUS (=MORE) per BLOCK on Sia !

How is this possible? Are you donating your personal coins?

Yep, I bought quite a lot when it was cheap and i'm giving them away now. It's still quite some left.
2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v6.0 (Windows/Linux) on: August 16, 2016, 01:25:09 PM
I'm seeing a huge difference between what is displayed as hash speed and what the pool claims (supernova) the hashrate is jumping around from -50% to +20%  the differnces are just huge am I doing something wrong ?
I'm connected to "ethdcrminer64 -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1" solo mining.

normal behaviour on suprnova, it's due the sharerate.

Check the graphs:
https://sia.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=graphs

They should match

2651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: August 16, 2016, 08:15:33 AM
New Claymore dual miner is out, not nearly as exciting as hoped. Not sure if Claymore is toning it down, but you essentially get very similar hashrates to AMD hardware that's quite a bit cheaper. Could be his DCR and SIA miners aren't very good. Too bad you can't combine SPs DCR miner with Claymores Ethereum miner... Partnership?

STEEM still needs a GPU miner as there isn't one available. A lot of volume though, definitely worth looking into.

You can just start the ETH miner - open a new windows and start SPR miner without a problem ?! Smiley

Nah kinda doubt SP has +50% available right now, just gloating about what he's already done.

Most of the kernals in this algorithm have already been optimized in the sp-mod private all nicehashalgos optimized. I just need to do some copy and pasting, and then I have an optimized M7 kernal. Yesterday I worked on the spreadcoin miner. M7 is not my priority right now..

Kernal ? Isn't it Kernel ? Smiley

Unable to use ccminer. No matter what I try keeps telling me invalid parameters

What's your command?
I have tried a number of things. Seems fairly straight forward but it is not working. Only pool I can get to work for sia Suprnova and I still don't see any payments for shares after 8 hours of mining and their dashboard seems bunk. Trying to find alternatives but cant seem to find any that actually work.

"ccminer -a sia -o stratum+tcp://siamining.com:3333 -u 781e78dcde52cbc2b1ff264d4c86ac24330795be6b7589bceeec084d00b35df66fa7cad6873b.mi ne"
"ccminer -a sia -o stratum+tcp://siamining.com:7777 -u 781e78dcde52cbc2b1ff264d4c86ac24330795be6b7589bceeec084d00b35df66fa7cad6873b.mi ne"

Few others, nothing seems to work.

Hash on suprnova is too low, you need to wait approx 24h before you see coins as we only find around one block per day. However I am integrating Claymore now and I hope that will help to raise hash a bit, it's currently a pretty bad situation

Hey, everyone!

Here is today's tweet to Poloniex Exchange.

I've combined prior tweets to give Poloniex all the info they need.  Smiley Thanks for your retweets.  Wink

Nice work, thanks.

What was the error which lead to the buffer overflow ? github  commit history doesn't really help Smiley

I know it's a mess because my editor fixed a ton of weird spacing ;-)
There was a throughput coefficient initialised to -1 which broke the gpu threads which in turn had random hashrate which in turn didn't fit into a string buffer LOL!
lol Cheesy
so what the price of m7 and its name, actually I don't even remember the name of the coin Grin

lol it's cryptonite the one with mini blockchain, not sure if there are other hidden coin using it but i doubt
can't even sync my wallet, I don't find any peer

Forget the CPU miner, here is the GPU Miner (NVIDIA):

https://github.com/ocminer/ccminer-veltor

Again, use "-a sib" for veltor

Nice!
Too bad I only have two AMDs...
Any chance you could make one for AMD gpu? Smiley

J.V.

AMD is not so easy as NVIDIA unfortunately and I yet have to implement something else first, but i'll look later.
Is there a AMD Sibcoin miner around ?

Forget the CPU miner, here is the GPU Miner (NVIDIA):

https://github.com/ocminer/ccminer-veltor

Again, use "-a sib" for veltor

please windows bin

Anyone able to compile my miner for windows ?
