2621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: August 20, 2016, 08:48:04 AM
I'm getting hit by heavy DDoS since the last 12h on different ports of my ETC pool, unsure who's the one behind it.

However, I've moved all the ports and parts to premium anti-ddos plans now and those DDoS'es should no longer be a problem, due to this, the Dwarfpool ETH-Proxy Port moved from etc.suprnova.cc:2222 to etc-eu.suprnova.cc:2222, I have a forwarder in place, but it's better if you just switch your eth-proxy to the new URL.

Thanks for your cooperation and sorry for the frontend blackouts during the last 12h.

There was a DDoS against one of the stratum servers (the ETH-proxy) which lead to a failure of that stratum.

I've moved this Port now to the (better protected) etc-eu.suprnova.cc server, so please switch your eth-proxy url to etc-eu.suprnova.cc:2222 instead of etc.suprnova.cc

Thanks !

And also thanks to the DDoS'er for making me buy another ddos protected plan... I wonder whats your goal.

i get blank screen just like pop up and close the cmd box.

You cannot mine Sia only with Claymore, if you want to do this have a look at:

https://sia.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

You can download miners for all different flavours there (AMD/NVIDIA) and mine directly.

Is it possible to merge mine the ETC with ETH. I remember that we could merge mine two coins a few years ago.

Not directly merge mining no, because there is no "Aux-PoW" integration in either ETH or ETC which would be necessary to mine both coins at the same time, but you can mine whatever is more profitable, i'm currently testing an auto-switch / auto-exchange port.

In the meanwhile I recommend mining ETC together with SIA or DCR using claymore:

Claymore command for merged ETC + SIA:
ethdcrminer64.exe -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -dpool sia.suprnova.cc:7777 -dwal suprnova.1 -dpsw x -dcoin sia -allpools 1

Pools:

htttps://dcr.suprnova.cc for DCR

Hem...

Which is the problem ?

9 hours mining , and 0 confirmed ?

https://s4.postimg.org/rdx528blp/Cattura.jpg

Pool suprnova .

You have to wait a few blocks for the coins to confirm as with every other coin,  there is no problem.

Ok thanks .

Sia requires usually 144 blocks for coin maturity, I'm already paying after 100 blocks, so you'd have to wait approx 100 x 10 minutes before your unconfirmed coins can be paid.

Each block has a block time of 10 minutes

There is still 20% Bonus per Block on https://sia.suprnova.cc

Miners for AMD, NViDIA are linked in the getting started pages of the pool, would appreciate if you spread the hash a little around and grab some free coins  Smiley

currently im mining at nanopool, the bonus is still avaible ? i want to try it, if i get 2000mhs at supernova i can get 24000mhs ? ike that

sorry im newbie in mining

Yes, Bonus is still available, however, the more miners come, the faster the bonus will be depleted, I hope I can keep it up until sunday.

You get the same hash displayed but your payout will be 20% higher.

I have a stratum rig that I am currently renting.  I tried using euroline pool by entering the stratum.acc-pool.pw:9999, with my ele as my user name and trying '#' as the password and also leaving the password blank.

I also tried suprnova ele pool also with no results.

Do I need to have a miner on my local machine and then point it to a rented mrr rig?

You have to create a worker on the pool and then point your rented rig to that worker..

So if your username would be Mouse and your workername would be dog you would point the rig to the pool with Userlogin Mouse.Dog and a password of your choice

I setup the worker in the pool and pointed the rig to the worker and still no results.  Once this didn't work I chose to mine eth using a pool successfully.  During the rig rental, I setup workers in the pool but they would never connect. I reached out to suprnova. Thanks for your help.

hello if your mining @ suprnova then :
1.Create worker ... example : worker and password using #
2.Then @mrr  you would use yourusername@suprnova.yourworkername Password #

so if my username @suprnova lucky80 and myworkername 1 result are lucky80.1 password #

you must set your password with #

I'll give this a shot with the password as # Does the MRR rig have to support eth-proxy?  The rig owner spoke about his rig using default "esm" option on the miner (-esm 0). Not sure how much this matters.

anyone can pointed out what is -esm 0 ? i never use that option ....

-esm is "ethereum stratum mode 0" - which refers to eth-proxy. i wouldn't use eth proxy, it's deprecated since there are stratum miners, just point the miner (stratum based like genoil) directly to the pool

I've tried both pools unsuccessfully using a MRR rig.

You have to rent stratum rigs at MRR, not getwork, right?
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELE] Elementrem - Ethereum fork smart contract BlockChain on: August 18, 2016, 11:09:58 PM
how to connect from miningrigrentals ?
I put pooL : ele.suprnova.cc:3333
my username. and pass but not mining ?
any help Smiley)

Check getting started page..  MRR is port 2222

the rig i rent went offline after i rent, wtfffff
You can rent on my pool. True 0% pool fee. I pay tx fee. And it works with nicehash and miningrigrentals

I'm having issues connecting to the pool using MRR, can you please advise?

Which pool are you having issues connecting to? Suprnova's MRR port is 2222

Yer....  I saw it, I keep reading things like "Without a team of developers, the uphill battle will become very steep in the coming weeks."

The media just do not check their facts do they?  Dev team live and well,  look https://trello.com/etcdev
@kamidela, Trollbox on Poloniex was it?

Get it while it's cheap!

They plan o open a ETC pool ?

Well... I have one open already: https://etc.suprnova.cc Smiley

2638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Veltor [∀] : For All on: August 18, 2016, 02:15:50 PM
I just asked the novaexchange guy to add Veltor.

Thank you!
And thanks for the hash!

And for the people asking why the long block time...
I am looking to implement something like a Lightning Network down the road making short block time simply unnecessary and very inefficient.
Longer block time, I argue provides greater stability and efficiency.
I have a few other ideas that could make good use of longer block time.

J.V.

Thanks, looking forward to see the coin progress.
Anyone knows any other small but good exchange that doesn't want money to add coins?

Coinexchange and Novaexchange are not bad IMHO

Merge mined ETC and SIA with Claymore possible:

ethdcrminer64.exe -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -dpool sia.suprnova.cc:7777 -dwal suprnova.1 -dpsw x -dcoin sia -allpools 1
2640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v6.1 (Windows/Linux) on: August 18, 2016, 06:40:36 AM
In case anyone wants some bonus on SIA mining, I still have 20% Bonus on sia.suprnova.cc and the cmdline would be something like this:

ethdcrminer64.exe -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -dpool sia.suprnova.cc:7777 -dwal suprnova.1 -dpsw x -dcoin sia -allpools 1

Works with claymore since version 5.3
