Problem is that outside of this forum 1xbit doesn't have a reputation of straight up scam so Coingecko and Mycelium probably don't think that they are doing anything wrong by allowing 1xbit to advertise there.
Sometimes you need to consider that ads are not placed specifying a service. If they are using service like Google AdSense then the ad network is sending the ads and they have no control over it. There are many ad networks not just Google AdSense. 1xbit spends millions of dollar in their advertising. So obviously ad networks are one of the choice for them. |

Avatar features you will see once you qualify for 100 achievements.
Achievements here would mean merits I imagine. In that case, the feature would not be available after reaching 100 merits, except the user has already acquired 120 activity points to go along with it. I am putting this out there for users who may be confused with how the ranking system works. To have avatar you will need to be full member of the forum and to become a full members you will require minimum 120 activity and minimum 100 merit. 1xbit and Stake.com campaigns. However, I don't aim at any specific campaign here. It is probably more posters like that and matter is we did not detect them.
I have no idea how the 1xbit are conducting their signature campaign but Stake.com signature is designed to make more posts. They are encouraging users to post in gambling section. I don't want to bring the campaign manager name but this is clearly mentioned in their campaign thread. They either didn't know they could buy fractions of Bitcoin or they were not used to buying fractions of an asset, so thought it's unprofitable, sort of like it would be unprofitable in the long run as they did not get a full stack.
Still there are people who think they will have to buy a whole bitcoin. I don't know how the psychology works but when you talk about bitcoin to someone and tell them the price they usually ask that's lot of money. If a thief who somehow got access of your email wants to reset account then he can not because he will be asked for 2FA. It means you have less risk to lose the funds unless Binance itself become the victim of any hack. One thing you need to ensure that you are not targeted by phishing link attackers. Secondly, If I were to move all my coins from Binance, which exchange is the next best alternative?
You do not keep your coins in an exchange. You keep it there if you are for a quick exchange. Once the exchange is done then you move your coins to you own wallet. This is the safest. |

By doing a good job banning account that have lots on commissions. Im not even able to withdraw the commissions.
“Saving the company money”, there is literally no support so if you get banned make sure not to waste your time with support because nobody will be willing to help you.
You needed to bring some reference to support your accusation. Perhaps the email that you have exchanged or chat with the support team. This will help others to analyze the conversation and make up something from it. Right now it's just some words that you left for everyone. I hope it resolves anyway. |

Adjusting trust setting is completely fine there are nothing to accuse one for it. If this was the case then anyone when add-remove someone then everyone should start to find the reason and starts to accuse them for nothing. temper can also refer to one's mood in general; if you use the word in this sense, you might describe someone's temper as "angry" or "mild." Your use of "tampered" was clearly indicating the mood. In other words you were accusing him for adjusting his trust setting. Was it necessary? A user is here to get his banned account back. He is trying to convince the people who can help him to unban the account but some of you are so negatively attacking that it sounds like you want no one in the forum have their place other than some scam busters. |

I just did a quick test, and yes; You would get a PM from a member you put on ignore, and so a user who ignored you would also get your personal message.
They would also get an email notification of the message. This would mean, the ignore user option only blocks the user from your posts and not PMs.
I needed this confirmation, thanks brother. Algorithmically I was expecting it too. Correct, the administrator Theymos when making that ignore button only had the idea of ignoring a member's posts in a topic you are reading, and not to completely ignore the member or whipe them completely from your sight, it should be called an "ignore member's post" button, until the administrator changes how it works.
If I am not wrong then ignore is a default feature of SMF or an additional extension of it. I believe Theymos did not customize it at all. |

Now, that in itself is not bad thing because c.$400 a month is a lot of money in his country especially to make and that just from one account here. He put a lot of effort in building up his naim027 account for that specific purpose and now it is banned therefore it will hurt financially and in one sense it is understandable he would try every way possible to try to have it rescinded including by sending PMs in the hope of having some support in order to pressure moderators. What is your point? If today for some reason your account is banned then you are saying you will not pressure moderators. I highly doubt. You seems to enjoy hurting others with unnecessary arguments. If signature campaign was not exists then I highly doubt you would contribute to the forum at all. I saw many users who do not wear signature at the beginning, they think it helps them to build up a quick reputation. I read a few response in scam accusations against dulebit ( topic a, topic b). A JollyGood is completely opposite in the threads. The aggression you show towards others was missing. In fact from the response anyone will easily mistakenly think that you are hired by them to advocate for Duelbits. Why did I miss the suspicious character of JollyGood but see a completely new JollyGood who single handily taken the lead to clear their employers name? I would also like to see naim027 to get his account unlocked. If he was a completely shitposter then I would not show him any mercy. I know it exists but that for newbie only. It's also about receiving PM. I was the sender in the case. For email notification, I think forum should have a new option, Don't receive email notification when users in your ignore list reply in your topic. Now notifications are for all users.
This forum software is too old. Personally I do not mind the setting it has. Hopefully in the new software (if we ever have it) we will have better experience. In this topic I am asking for information not solution. |

These days any site can have SSL. SSL ensures encrypted data from the hosting server to client browser. A site can have SSL but still it can be used for illegal activities like having a phishing site. The only secure practice in my opinion is to know the domain name. Memorize it or save it on your browser. You can save it in a file too. Google is always unsafe. Many people go to google and search for the domain name. Scammers rank up their domain for the domain name people search and users reach to the scammers site. This is how regular hacks happens. |
