2641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 01, 2022, 08:24:25 PM
Well, I am not like you that thinking it is my mantra when I am going to play, during the game or after the game saying those line everytime I won or very lucky. I only say say I am lucky today but not as mantra but what I think and I would say sos! (which in the place I live in we always say that when we almost won or in English many will say "Almost" but where I came from is we use "Sos! like you are angry). We only express our feelings when we play which it depends on the situation if lose or win (Sos! and yes or yay! or winner laugh).
Dont have any mantra or something those beliefs about doing it before you do gamble just for you to make yourself that lucky because we know that being lucky isnt something that cant really be influenced by any other activities or behaviors that you would be doing before.

Luck isnt something that cant be affected and it do normally comes on random times thats why it would be just good if you do accept on whatever results that you might end up
when you do gamble whether you do win or lose then it wont really bother you because you arent expecting something.
2642  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: June 01, 2022, 07:12:55 PM
I think the most negative aspect of this will be the high crime rates / Corrupt government officials / Africa time at which things are done.... but high unemployment help to keep wages lower.... so we can have gardeners and cleaners etc.... that we cannot afford in 1st world countries. These people would not have had an income if we were not there... so we bring employment opportunities to help them support their families.  Wink
To be honest, corrupt government officials are the reason foreign companies flourish and do well in Nigeria. They can easily bribe to bypass environmental laws and the natural order of things. The companies come to Africa because they can make exploit the people, we don’t need them they need us. The salaries they pay their workers are below standard, the workers don’t have proper healthcare. Foreign companies have the freedom than in the United States.
The source of wealth that was drained by migrants carrying heavy equipment then left scars on all the mountains, the land became barren and the residents only got the impact of what is called the government's greed. They include it in the list of state finances without thinking that the impact will be on the communities around which the company stands tall. Old resources are gradually depleting carbon dioxide mixed with chemical fumes.

Natives are considered manual laborers and immigrants as kings. Despite the pretext to advance the economy, if we look at the impact in the next 10 years or even 20 years, we will inhale a plume of chemical fumes that take the lives of small children.
Foreign companies love cheap labour, it’s incredible the position we put ourselves in the same of keeping a job. There is poverty and hunger in these countries and the companies know this and they exploit the people. The corrupt government are silenced with bribes in the form of money and contracts, it is the people who are left to suffer. That’s why immigration from this places are high
Lets just face or get used to this stuff since it was really just common sense for big companies on having this kind of idea on where taking out advantage on a particular place  which does have cheap labor which it isnt surprising that they would be utilizing such kind situation which is sad but there's nothing we can do about it since they are running off a business. So its expected
that they would really be having advantage of it thats why to those people who are knowledgeable enough then finding up ways on searching for another job which isnt something that
hardcore in labour or effort but it could make them earn even without losing up their dayjob.
2643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: June 01, 2022, 02:07:53 PM
That's true and even after doing the analysis it's also not a guarantee to be able to know when the market can bounce back,
because the most widely done is technical analysis. everything we see is based on what the tool shows. and about the news, we rarely follow developments.

when the market is down, we don't need to be confused. those who have been trading crypto for a long time see fluctuations in the crypto market as an opportunity to make a profit.
will be a little confusing and even make us hesitate to start investing. but for bitcoin assets, when there is a decline, no one will hesitate to buy them. because everyone believes bitcoin will get another pump in the future.
Technicals would really be the most common tools which could really make use into this market specially when you do make out some trading because not all the times it would really be showing or there

are events or situations where fundamentals do really happen around thats why people would really be making use of those typical indicators which could help at least and letting them know on whats

the current situation or patterns that they could possibly see but we know that it was never been precise if you do ask me but at least we do try.
2644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 01, 2022, 12:20:46 AM
Possible trilogy? Yes but lets see on how this rematch turns or results out.

The trilogy is the automatic next event for these two only if Nonito Donaire will win the rematch, obviously. There's no other fight that should happen next aside from a trilogy if Donaire was able to upset the heavy Japanese favorite Naoya Inoue.

It needs to be decided on the trilogy if the rematch results in 1-1 standing.

Of course, in the event Donaire loses in this rematch, no trilogy will happen and Inoue might now move up a weight class to face new challenges there.
Yeah, its already understandable that trilogy would happen if ever Donaire would pull some win on this rematch but it would really be just like on breaking a huge and tall wall on defeating Inoue.
The day is getting closer and for sure they are making out preparations for this upcoming fight just like always. The better the boxer the one who would win up this match.
I cant just believe that Casimero wont be the one will be fighting due to those shit things happened to him.  Grin

2645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What approach do you expect from the Government if your Country adopt bitcoin? on: May 31, 2022, 10:56:44 PM
Starting from a topic started by Ratimov: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? so my inspiration to start this thread suddenly appeared where right now i really am would like to know what you think and expect if your country decides to adopt bitcoin as a legal tender.

We all know that El Salvador boldly announced to the world that they adopted bitcoin as a currency as well as legal tender. Many of us agree that this is an expected development, but in the end we can learn from the country [El Salvador] that to achieve successful adoption, the country and its government must also have a good approach and take the right steps. It is clear that this approach will have an impact on the success of the adoption, but so far El Salvador has failed with the adoption because their approach is not as perfect as expected based on the research.

Well, if El Salvador is considered to have failed with its bitcoin adoption so far [perhaps they have never failed 100%] then what do you expect if one day your country also decides to adopt bitcoin as a currency and legal tender especially regarding the approach and steps your government should take?
I think one thing the government should do first is to make the citizens more educated about bitcoin as well as the cryptocurrencies itself. Once they know about it, then they can help the government to assess whether it could be helpful to improve the government or not. Otherwise, there will be strikes that will possibly happen from those people who will oppose the decision of the government. So i think the decision is not only for those officials sitting in the government but the concern of the citizens should be given the top priority to be heard.
Make them at least aware so that support would come next in line because if they dont then just like been said above by some user that it would be ignored. As long they wont really be making it as a legal tender then people wont really get shocked and if they do allow or make it legal on any transactions then that would really create some curiosity and possible problems ahead.
It is really that great if government on your country would be ending up on having positive impressions towards crypto which is something not that really common and most of them are going against on it.
2646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding my horses for now on: May 31, 2022, 09:38:17 PM
Is buying bitcoin right now the same with buying later? I stopped buying because it looks like Bitcoin dips isn't over, imagine buying at 19k per Bitcoin, I think the whole idea of investment is when you are buying not running after the best coins in the market, buying them cheap is better or I don't get it?.

If you're thinking about from a long-term investment strategy it doesn't matter when you buy.  I purchase a little bit of bitcoin every month.  I bought when it was $60k, I bought when was $28k.  I'll buy if it drops to $19, and and I'll buy when it pumps to $100k.  I'm playing the long game, so the current price is really not as important as the over-all average price of my bitcoin purchases.
When you are going for long term runs then price wont really be mattering much whatever the price point you would tend to get in and this would depend on someones perspective whether they would

be going for long term or going for short term.So it do vary on someones plans or target because not all would really be having the same thing in mind and even myself do accumulate
little by little.I do have some funds for short term trades and i do allocate something which is good for long term so that i wont really be stressing out much
when it comes to price movement.
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 31, 2022, 08:25:06 PM
Back to Inoue and Donaire, I don't have issues on how prepared is the latter. In fact, I believe that he's more than ready for this rematch now. But the real question is, can he defeat Inoue?

According to Donaire, he is confident that he can now take down and deal with Inoue.

Well, as for any boxers, if the question asked to them is about their status of the fight, they will surely answer that they are prepared.

From what I see of Donaire, he knows very well the strategy to beat Inoue but the question is, how he will apply those strategies in the actual fight as that wasn't easy to unleash without meeting some certain factors.
In terms of strength indeed he must be completely sure of his strength because this can also be a precursor to his current spirit but the problem is that things like this are sometimes different from words and actions later.
Indeed, in this case I have high hopes for Donaire but on the other hand Inoue is still very strong in my opinion and indeed this is still unpredictable even though Donaire is highly favored

I disagree, Inoue is the one who's favored and in fact he's the favorite to win among the sports bookies but again, that's not a guarantee that Inoue is the one who will surely win because an upset can always happen anytime including this fight. As for Donaire, I know he have some strategies in mind for how to counter Inoue's movement but the latter also have those techniques too about countering Donaire's movement.

Both of them surely knows each other's weaknesses and strengths. It's a matter of who can put that successful blow first and who will be the one to exhaust first.
Donaire is surely prepared or cooking up something in regarding with his counter punches and since he does have experience on fighting Inoue then he do knows on what to do but of course

Inoue would made out some adjustments as well and be preparing on what would come. Upsets could really happen thats why this fight is something interesting to watch.

Possible trilogy? Yes but lets see on how this rematch turns or results out.
2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO tracking site are you following? on: May 30, 2022, 10:21:12 PM
I was deeply involved with ICO back in the day but these days, I'm not much active and I really don't have much idea which site provides better insights though I know most sites are biased and paid. Still, I believe there will be a few sites which worth to have a look on. Suggest me some ICO tracking sites please.

Yeah, same here, way back 2018 I followed a lot of ICO websites but it just fell on the radar for me. I'm not sure if ICO though is still the thing this 2022, as obviously they've lost the hype already as new project emerges with different methods to attract investors. Unfortunately, I can't recall those websites anymore but for sure there could be some that survived and most likely doing still doing their thing, providing investors which some good (and bad) ICO projects.
Surprisingly there are still some ICO projects nowadays if you do tend to look on bounties section or board where there are still a number of projects who do look for funding.

Long time ago where these icorating sites were really that famous and known specially icobench as far as i remember and on the time that ICO trend has gone or over
then these sites arent really that relevant anymore. Therefore, i dont see on why people do still boggle up their mind on finding these kind of sites unless
if they do still have that money to invest or this one involves on bounty hunting?
2649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: May 30, 2022, 10:10:31 PM
What  I learned is that the more you read about a certain project the harder it gets to invest. Particularly if you are new to the crypt space and do not understand the essentials. Basically, the more you learn the less you know.

Crypto trading works in such a way that the more you learn, the more you gain experience. And using that experience will be able to build the ability to take the right trade later.
If you want to trade in any market, you have to have experience to understand that market. And if someone is inexperienced and opens trades based on emotions, they can't stay in the market for long.
I would say totally in reverse which is;

"The more you experience, the more learnings you would able to gain"
This is where people do make out learnings out from experience and part of the experience are those losses and errors that you had made which is something that inevitable.
When you do decide to step your foot into the market which is totally unpredictable and random then expect that this wont really be a smooth sail ride i would say.
2650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever thought of doing your thesis on Gambling ? on: May 30, 2022, 09:12:04 PM
No matter how many studies they'll make about gambling, to help addicted players, it's just nonsense to an addicted gambler who doesn't want to be help by others, or to be corrected by the society around them. Most of them are full of pride, that won't listen to anyone but themselves. It's hard to preach to people who doesn't accept that himself should be corrected because he's doing something wrong.

Addicted gamblers will never understand their situation unless they lower their pride and accept help from a professional.
Addicted ones wont completely stop until they would really be messing out their entire lives when it comes to finances. Its not surprising nor very that common that addicted gamblers are someone who

doesnt really tend to listen to anyone.Speaking about thesis on gambling? This would really a very broad kind of topic to be discussed with and would really be that complicated whenever it touches on how
to resolve addiction which is something that will really blow up your mind on how you would really be able to defend yourself with those argumentations which would included out this scope.
So better be prepared i would say if you do intend to dive in with this thesis.
2651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Habitual Bitcoin Buyer-Not what you think on: May 30, 2022, 07:28:51 PM
ok, I know for a fact that I am not the only one, but Im having an issue with it. I discovered several months ago, that I had a personal liquidity issue. My income is decent, but have little to no liquid savings. If I save a few hundred bucks, by the end of the month, it has gone into bitcoin. The ideal picture is to have an emergency cash savings and to have some dry powder on the sides to buy the dips or DCA into my bags, however, I end up DCA-ing anything I have left over or think that I might have left over after bills and even then, sometimes, I may sacrifice $100 of a $300 bill knowing it does not have to be paid for another week.
I want to stack as many sats as possible especially at its current price range, but it has become almost a destructive behavior or a sickness. I DCA into BTC everyweek on a schedule, but there is alot of extra being bought. You would think I was in a hurry or something like its going to go to 500,000 and never come back. (mental perception)lol. I know I need to instill some discipline and get cash plush especially with our economic outlook right now and be able to weather the storm if it comes without having to sell to cover an emergency or a bill. If I was single with no mortgage and no kids, I wouldnt care but.....

How have some of you stopped doing this over leveraging. Crypto rich but cash poor. Tips and advice appreciated.

Many people are doing the same and they save money only to invest in bitcoin for the long term. The method which you have explained is good but you should not consider the price of bitcoin when you buy bitcoin. For example, if you decide to buy 100$ worth of bitcoin every month, buy only 100$, no more no less.
Do not buy more in some months thinking that the price is low. This way, you will only use your extra money which you have allocated every month for bitcoins buying, and not end up buying bitcoin with the money you need for day to day purposes.
Sometimes its not bad when you do make yourself go beyond your limit specially for us that could alter out our plans or limits whenever we do see some opportunity which i could say that this is something

that cant really be avoided most of the time specially if you've been here on this market for a while then you are aware on how things do possibly work or happen thats why we cant really just afford to miss another opportunity for you to take and in regarding with op's situation then it isnt bad as long you do able to do your role as a  family man.
2652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading - experience and tipps on: May 29, 2022, 11:29:38 AM
In my opinion, this kind of work significantly weakens the trader's desire to develop. When I started working in this industry, I tried my solutions on a demo account of AMarkets broker. This allowed me to get the desired result.
Demo account is just good for practice and familiarizing technical tools and indicators but it wasnt really mean on enhancing your emotional and psychological aspects when it comes to decision making

which is something crucial when it comes to trading because having no involvement of real funds wont really be putting you into a mood on taking serious risk management since you do know that you cant lose something because those are just demo money unlike when you are using real funds then this is where real story starts and real experiences where lots of trials and errors
would be made.

Making yourself get involved with real market with real funds is something that you should really focus on.Yes, it wont be that easy but this is the only way
on making yourself improved.
2653  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New bitcoin fork on Yobit? This is another shitcoin on: May 29, 2022, 10:11:34 AM
How is this exchange still alive it seems that there are still many Russian users trading there based on their chats?
Their Withdrawal fees are so high, just like HitBTC's as compared to the rest of the exchanges. So that's where they end up trapping people.

A trader reaches a point where they are either forced to leave the funds in the exchange because the withdrawal fees are higher that what they even want to withdraw especially for the tokens, or they only get to trade in Yobit because the withdrawal wallets are in a never ending maintenance state  Grin
Is this exchange still alive? Surprisingly they are really that long to live after all the years of existing and been frowned upon to be one of the most shadiest platforms that we've known in history.

No answer/response forever
Lots of shitty tokens
High withdrawal
Never ending wallet maintenance
High house edge gambling games(dont know if its still there)
Shady ICO's

and now we do have that new bitcoin fork? Wow.
2654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Old Casino Keep Up Without Support Here In Bitcointalk Or Signature Campaign on: May 29, 2022, 09:34:14 AM

Well, the owner will be the one to decide if it's pointless and worthless. He's or they are the one to decide to fund up their campaigns so, as long as they see the metrics of it and they think it's no longer worth it.

Then they're free to stop it.

But if there's a good result that shows up with their metrics and results, there's no need for them to stop it as they see the worth of each buck they allocate on it.
It do really depends on the budget because ive seen some campaign do only last up for 1 week then completely stop which they are really testing it out if it does really work or get users or not and you are right that it do matters on them because they would last or tend to stop it directly if they dont see any results but just like been said by others that results doesnt come out on 1 week duration or few weeks because it would really be getting results in longer duration but of course it will really depend on the site if its good to look at or something interesting because marketing is useless
if your site is shit.
2655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: May 28, 2022, 10:59:47 PM
I'm sure many governments are now puzzled that bitcoin allows many people to work without paying taxes, in fact. And I'm sure a lot of people don't like it.
Paying tax isnt bad but there are places or countries in the world which are too corrupt thats why people doesnt really like on voluntarily paying up taxes due for that reason.
We know on what TAX is and whats the role of it for economic progress of the place you are living. It is really just depending on the leaders or the government who do
really handle out those funds.

This is where government do really put up their attention the most since people could actually hid themselves on not to pay up tax despite of the good
income or profits that they do get out from crypto investments thats why they dont really have any choice but to deal with those centralized platforms and services
which they could only able to potentially touch up.
2656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: May 28, 2022, 09:24:46 PM
With this kind of thing mostly when we play gambling we can't deny something we abuse our busy like skipping meals and sleep just to play gambling this kind of action has a consequence too to us. Also not only with the physical health but also with the mental and emotional health if your body does not have a good state it affects a lot to your body this add for the overthinking now that's why if you want to play gambling you must prepare your self for the possible things might happen at the same time. Health it wealth its more expensive if you get too much trouble in your body.
I agree with the last line you wrote - "Health is wealth its more expensive if you get too much trouble in your body."

To consider it, imagine how much would Bill Gates pay you to offer him your age and for how much money are you wasting your previous years of life. Most of us are technically selling our health for money or let's say cashing our health for some money. Whether it's a job or gambling or whatever, holds true for most things in life.

I have a back problem for years now and this happened because of the day job I did for years and now I realize how stupid a decision that was but at that time it seemed like the best option I had.
We do really have that kind of regret but actually we dont really have any options into those particular times which we do really need to get some income which we do decide to take risk even we do know

this isnt something simple and could really take a toll for long  term aspect on health manner or something in related to health but in due circumstances we dont really have any options but to deal
with that since we've been thinking that it wont really take immediate effect but on the time comes then you would really be having those realizations that you should have
give importance into your health.
2657  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC -85% FROM ATH IN NOVEMBER..... on: May 28, 2022, 08:10:20 PM
In those previous times, we had an exponential bubble before the 80%+ crash. There was no exponential bubble this time, so I don't expect the pullback to be as severe.
This is actually the difference, yes we could really see some patterns but we should always be considerate when it comes to other aspect or factors which are still present or not really that relevant at all.

In speaking with that exponential bubble which is definitely precise i would say and its something that we couldn't really see as of today basing in overall adoption and recognition.
Although the possibilities is there if the market tends to follow those technicals but we know that it wont really be that precise as always yet this market could neither
follow or fucked up any analysis out there that has been made.
2658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Legendary Forumla of Dip = Opportunity on: May 28, 2022, 06:57:07 PM
It’s been so many years we have seen bitcoin and altcoins melody of bear and bull trends. Every time I see bull run, peeps will be asking two questions:

1) What is the highest bitcoin price in this bull run?
2) Is current price is perfect to sell my assets?
----------------

1) Why bitcoin is falling so harshly?
2) Why altcoins fall when bitcoin is falling?
3) I sold my bitcoins in loss, what should I do?
4) When will bitcoin go bull again and when is the resistance for current market?

1. No one really knows in speaking with ATH
2. It does really depends on your own choice and preference when it comes to selling decisions

------------

1. Sell-off, Fud, Manipulation
2. It do always correlate with bitcoin trend most of the time but there are eventually who do goes opposite
3. Buyback if you could still take risk
4. This is where technical analysis do plays out or relevant thats why its important to know which you do at least know on whats happening.
2659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can a new sportsbook gain trust? on: May 27, 2022, 11:46:20 PM
...

So I’m looking for thoughts on how to gain trust and reputation, because I know I would have doubts depositing money into a brand new sportsbook that’s just appeared out of thin air.
no matter how perfect the product you make, as long as you can't market it then it will be useless...

if you want to make a sportsbook famous (just appeared) then the most important thing you do is marketing, never be stingy with marketing costs at the beginning because it is important. you can try by holding a campaign or contest on this forum or try something else.

if they can't afford spending large money in marketing, they can still earn credibility thru time. it may be long and hard, but these players once you get their trust, they will be your loyal players. the reputation of the casino or bookie is not earned overnight. so that's fine if they won't run high-reward events. but at the beginning, at least hold some small events or bonus program. it doesn't need to be expensive reward. this is just to attract potential players. and for me, it is better to run bug bounty program rather than promotional activity. this bug bounty will further help improve the site itself and it will show that the site is sincere in giving good services to the players.
Whenever you do build a business then always consider on allocating budget for marketing because it would really be that crucial in your business success and relevance in the market and as considered out that competition is really high then you should really make yourself at least aggressive when it comes to this.

It worth the try on something which should really be default on any business.Exposure is a must thing to be considered.
2660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Bounty who is giving Big Reward. on: May 27, 2022, 10:52:22 PM
Unfortunately, the golden times of bounties in the ICO era, where it was possible to earn tens of thousands of dollars on one campaign, are gone and will probably never come back. However, there are still interesting projects that offer promising bounty. However, time must be devoted to thorough research. Nowadays, I definitely prefer to participate in bounties that pay out rewards in cryptocurrencies available on the market, and preferably in stable coins. I know in advance what conditions I agree to and for how much I am working for.
It would never comeback and gone are the days which we could really potentially able to earn those big amounts on just doing particular tasks which is something really worth for your time and effort but now? Majority of coins/projects now are trash which It couldn't be possible to have the similar situation
Although there are some which are worth but finding one is really a pain in the ass.

This is the main reason on why I leave bounty hunting where it isn't really worth for the time and resources and effort you do spent.
