2041  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: February 02, 2023, 07:29:25 PM
I will do both to gain experience.
You'll learn more with both but I think there's more advantage for having a personal growth if you'll have more experience in a commissioned job.
The thrive that you're about to set is going to be tough for you and it's more of a challenge because you'll be output based but once you have made a system that's making you getting those job done and getting those commissions. You'll just do it as if they're too easy on you and making it look like that you didn't had hard time from doing so.
When you are on a commission based job then it is really something that wont really be that simple because you would really be needing to have more in speaking about marketing skills and on how you do approach prospected clients or whatsoever.

Its true that they might be treating it out to be a simple job for those who had hired you or even on other peoples perspective but it is really not.
You would be able to find yourself and see the truth once you do step your foot into such work or job where your salary would be basing up into your performance output
which this is the toughest challenge if you arent that good enough and having no marketing skills.
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ethereum be profitable anytime in the future? on: February 01, 2023, 11:56:21 PM
OP posted once and never came back. The question is obvious for the majority that ETH is still profitable no matter what happened and despite many don't like the transition that has happened but yeah, has to quote that part of it's not mineable anymore.

With change in algorithm and rising electricity bills can mining ethereum be profitable again in the future?
No ser, mining stopped and only pos which is you need to buy eth to stake and became validator, is more riskier than mining, so suggesting if you want doing pos, dont go pooling things, set up by yourself and dont rent private server, even raspberry can handle this with little tiny power
It's quite expensive if he's going to build his own. Those that have less will join the pools but how much in it is for them? I'd rather hold it on my own and do nothing with it.
When we do speak about mining then it would really be totally depending on electricity cost on where you are residing and if you are really that going for long term then it wont really be that a bad idea but of course you would need to pay up for the energy consumption + expensive GPU's if you are really into mining.

Not all would really be that having the capital on doing so and its true that it would be more better if you do just simply buy and hold it for long term rather than on making yourself do involved all the
hassle and huge expenses if we do speak about mining. There are people who are really that eager on mining it but well we do have our own choice and as long you are aware of the risk
then its really up to you.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: February 01, 2023, 10:21:18 PM
Update:

Jason Moloney has withdraw from this fight, so this fight is cancelled.

Quote
“The WBC has received confirmation from Top Rank that [Moloney] will not be fighting for The WBC bantamweight title,” WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed to the teams for both boxers via official letter, a copy of which was obtained by BoxingScene.com. “With this letter the process of [Moloney] vs Donaire is hereby cancelled."

https://www.boxingscene.com/jason-moloney-top-rank-no-longer-pursue-wbc-title-nonito-donaire-awaits-next-named-opponent--172190

Too bad for Moloney to not have a chance for the belt because of the 'war' between his promoter Top Rank and Nonito's Probellum.

Because Bob Arum thinks that the company, Probellum has ties with Irish Mob boss Daniel Kinahan. So let's see what route Donaire will take in order to have another belt in his waist.
Thanks for the update and wasnt expecting for it to be ending up on being cancelled due to that involvement of Kinahan.
Im wondering on how these two do make out conflicts and i had fully understand on one of the reasons
https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/other-sport/boxing/bob-arum-claims-daniel-kinahan-26722907

So Donaire would be finding ways on how to set up fight on getting other belt which same as you said.Hope that they would be
able to set out for this year.

For now since this fight is cancelled, then thread should be locked.
2044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE ROLE OF BITCOIN IN EFFORTS TO HELP FLOOD AFFECTED COMMUNITIES on: February 01, 2023, 10:15:19 PM
In my years of existence in the forum, I have always read inspiring stories like this and that give credits to bitcoin or the crypto market itself because without it, these good samaritans can no longer help since they have no funds to provide for it.
There are really people who are really that mindful and really that be in concern on others condition and if ever they do have the money then they would really be tending to make out donations.
It doesnt matter if it in form of crypto/Bitcoin or would be in fiat which it wont really matter as long it does really help out people who are really that in indeed. It is really just good to look
at on how Bitcoin do really takes it part when it comes to donation or something which it do give out that full accessibility and full transparency on where those funds been accumulate.
For personal actions that had been made then passing up coins to wallet to wallet is never been hard.
2045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: February 01, 2023, 08:52:46 PM
No doubt to believe that the price will continue to rise, usually the trend will be up after a correction in 2022, and it's time to continue to buy and hold, I believe this year the price can touch at least $ 40k, even many influencers on social media believe that the year this can create new ATH.
Yes I agree with you, many analysis of BTC price indicates that Bitcoin is in oversold condition, which could indicate a short term bottom. Over the past few weeks, the price of Bitcoin has been hovering around $15k-22k, and some see it as an opportunity to buy Bitcoin before it hits $40k.
yeah and that is why we need to take this advantage . remember that we have been in almost 70k before so having those? we may see the price going to a thousand bucks value.
but lets not wait for 40k before buying when you can purchase now before hitting 24k today or tomorrow.

The hope to see prices continue to rise is huge, I'm sure that the price trend will continue to rise so continuing to buy is a very good thing, especially now that there are more and more influencers who believe that this year prices will be able to touch or create new ATH. let's continue to buy before the price is more expensive, and the next thing is don't be easy to sell when the price drops.
We are all hoping for a huge pump
We are all hoping to have a bullish market
We are all hoping that recognition and adoption would increase

We do love to see green and long candles but we should stick out into that realistic part on which there's no assurance on what this market looks like on upcoming years to come.
There's no way that you could really be able to say that it would be ending up on huge or high prices in the future. We've seen the worst and we've seen the best
but when it comes and speaking about future then there's no guarantee.
2046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your successes over the past 5 years on: January 31, 2023, 11:56:31 PM
Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything? Tell me your story.

It's not just cryptocurrency that unites us all. We all became different after we learned about her, and went deeper into her knowledge. And now, even if someone is not very lucky to increase their deposit, then you probably have accumulated experience, and you can share it.
If everyone should tell it's story concerning cryptocurrency investment life you will be pity with some people, because many people here have experience different kind of negativity during the time of investment, but i will say that if we should have the statistics or the ratio, the people that their story will land on negativity will be far higher than the people who be of positive side of story. When I'm calm i will brief my story.
There would be no ratio in between to those who had succeed or to those who had failed but pretty sure that there are people who had been wrekt and become a millionaire.
We do know that there's a losing and winning side when we do talk about investment not only limited to cryptocurrency but also in other industries as well.
We cant make out some conclusions on whose more than with those numbers, the thing here is that you do know for yourself on which side you are included in.
Doesnt need to make out some elaboration but im much sure that im on the profiting side.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We lose on the long run through return percentage on: January 31, 2023, 10:08:52 PM
Just like other businesses or like a shopping mall. There is no how you will tell.me that you beat the shopping mall after shopping. Even if you are given a loyalty card which you shop with, there is no discount. They are simply reducing the price of some products and increasing some and give you at what seems to be a cheap price, which is not in a real sense.
So, we all lose on a long run and the business owner takes the profit while we take satisfaction which could be fun for gamblers.
Exactly, we may save some money if we buy when there is a discount or when we receive some kind of bonus for our purchases, but stores do not sell their products for a loss, and the same is true for casinos, running a casino is expensive as their owners have to hire programmers, customer support, rent servers and many other things, and as such they cannot offer the services of their casinos for free, but instead of charging directly like a regular store they use the house edge to keep themselves in business, and as we can see it works very well as only a minority can beat the casino with regularity.
Its a huge and expensive business due to the capital involved which it is normal that they would be running the business for profits and those are via for house edge which is typical. They do need to profit
and they do need to make money to cover expenses which is really that understandable. As a gambler then we should be aware on how things been going on what are the things you are dealing with.
Dont force yourself to win because house do always win in the end.Going for longer terms or session could really make you loss because of HE but if you are doing it for fun and
entertainment then this wont really be that much an issue.
2048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 31, 2023, 10:03:28 PM
Apart from still saving now, I'm also still trying to set aside my money for DCA every month because indeed when the previous price was below $ 20k this obviously made me more tempted but now when it's above $ 20k I'm still trying to buy every week regardless of what what will happen later, whether it is a decrease or a further increase, I will still be DCA until the target of $ 30k is exceeded, then I will stop.
This was a chance I had tasted something sweet years before and now I think I'll be tasting it again in a few years to come.
Here's my earning breakdown.

40% for holding for long term
30% for trading
20% for DCA allocation
10% for some spending or buying up something.

Some are also done with altcoins too and not only focusing with Bitcoin but in overall, im trying to deal up with
other coins just to accumulate even more Bitcoins and vice versa.

Doesnt matter on which one you are engaging with as long you could able to save up and accumulate further.
2049  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: January 29, 2023, 07:16:09 PM
I generally prefer salary base jobs where I can do all kinds of work as well as invest as I wish. But the job of the commission is not possible to free one's will efficiently a valuable skill exercise for candidates for salary base jobs. While asking for more money can feel uncomfortable negotiating your skills and hard working attitude can result in a satisfying higher salary, so it's important to overcome this discomfort.
You could be able to point out and realize for yourself whether you are really that good in marketing skills or on hooking up people then commission based jobs wont really be that hard for you plus you could make tons of money which is more than with those salary jobs which is of course it would matter on how good you are into this particular field.

If you arent that good enough on marketing then this would be a problem and it would be better if you do stick with salary based on which you could at least make yourself able to
get some salary on doing those works whether you would really be that busy or not but still you are paid in the end of the month or every 15days.
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 29, 2023, 11:56:13 AM

Again, if you haven't seen Fulton fight, he doesn't have the same power as Inoue, he wasn't able to bring down Figueroa on his last fight. On the other hand, he could have taken a lot of damages during that fight. Yes he won, but the score is really close. And as I have said, he could have been soften by Figueroa and then Inoue just go for the kill and maybe knock him out, just saying.

Which makes Inoue different because there's no fighter that he has a close fight, well, the closest was Donaire because he survive the 12 rounds, but the result was still all in favor on Inoue since Inoue won via Unanimous decision. This might be a debut of Inoue but despite that, I'm sure he will not struggle and his confidence is still very high, he likes a real action because he got bored in his last fight where he won the undisputed champion.

There's no need to compare their records, it's very obvious, we already know who is the better fighter here. The thing is, even if Fulton is the champ, if he will be able to defend his title, people will react thinking it was an upset. That's how big their trust to Inoue since Inoue has been knocking down opponents, a monster with no fear, that's who he is.
But when expectations is really just that too much then they would really be just telling to theirselves that it is really just normal to lose since its a higher weight division champ so its a bit of a rush on taking him directly which it would really be a common excuse for those solid Inoue fans out there.Well, it cant really that surprising because if we do see on Inoue's potential which it seems that he could
handle up those fighters on higher division. It cant be that be so sure though and it wont be that easy but we could really be able to see
whether he could make it or not.
2051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market on the Rise, But Proceed with Caution! on: January 29, 2023, 11:18:10 AM
I've had good PNL so far after doing some accumulation. Obviously taking advantage of the previous bear market has made me profitable today, but what's next - it's going to be something I'll hold them with for the long term (maybe next 2-3 years).

You, I and anyone else still have the opportunity to accumulate assets during 2023. Of course the market is increasing but the market still gives anyone the opportunity to buy a lot. Bitcoin is still at -66% from its previous ATH, and people should be able to take advantage of the current market situation to buy more. I may have had luck getting it at lower price, but that doesn't mean the price won't return to its previous low.
for investors who just entered last year, of course, you already have a high PNL this year, it's evident that you yourself are using this opportunity for accumulation,
but things could change again when you make a mistake, don't be fooled again because the market is actually still not good, WW3 is also in sight so be careful the market will fall again.
don't be in a hurry to do an analysis that the bear market is over, don't let yourself fall into the bullish trap.
For those complete noobs but do be able to get in while bitcoin priced on 16k then they are really that indeed making money as this moment unless if they had made out some sell when it did gain up to 18-20k which we know that it isnt really that a bad spot for you to consider out on selling on your coins which profit is always a profit. You could always make out some buyback if ever the price do make out some correction.

Now the price is playing around 23-24k which is really that hard to tell whether we would be breaking 25k resistance or not.Always move out with caution because we dont
know on what comes next and we dont know on what this market could bring out.
2052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Aptos pumping ? on: January 28, 2023, 11:49:11 PM
Okay, I know that the founders are pretty clever and accomplished, but you could say that of
just about every Layer 1 project. Why is Aptos special ? What does it bring to the space that other
L1 projects can not offer ? We already have too many of these, all of them run by geniuses, all of them
with ground-breaking technologies, and I don't see any of them pumping the way Aptos is ? Or is it because this
project is new or something ? Frankly I don't get why Aptos is so important, but I'm open minded, and
willing to listen.
There are lots of coins that are pumping now which would already be boggling up your mind on how the heck is happening but if you do look up on their real use case then you could say that it is really

the main reason + having this bullish run or positive market condition which is the reason on why they are really making those huge gains. This is why this doesnt only limit out on Aptos but
also into other coins that i know like RON, APE which these coins are really that common.

Pumping? There's always a tendency and you cant rule out on what actually happened behind.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 28, 2023, 10:48:59 PM
Yeah, those games that are RNG are hardly to be cheated on and if there's a chance then that's just a slight one or in a very rare occasion. But those games that are based on skills, we like to get on it because they're based on how good they are. Although for some instances, if it's a PVP type of betting and it's a game where people can abuse and find a way to earn, they'll for sure going to make a way to abuse the game and cheat on it because the system might be foreseen into that situation. Those are like the bugs that's being uncaught and they take advantage of it.
Cheats are a big concern in the PvP sphere, but I think there will be decent products in the future that will have a decent anti-cheat system, which can be a mix between AIs and humans.
One of the hindrance or main blockages on which PvP arent really that something do make out some significant recognition is that these possible cheats could be happen on where
they might be able facing some AI or bot rather than with actual human which it doesnt really give out that kind of confidence into someone.

This is why it ends up on having lesser demand due into those probabilities which arent really that shocking honestly.People do love on sticking up their interest
into those games which are really that instant or something even going against with the house.
2054  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 28, 2023, 10:45:10 PM

If the market anchors very well on the bull trend, it will be able to withstand every negative news to a bearable extent.

I agree with you.

I am surprised to see how recent events related to Genesis and Nexo have not disturbed the price of BTC
Dont get be too surprised because this is how this market works or behaves on which there's no way that you could really make our some conclusions about whether it could make out some effect or not

basing on what are those events are whether its positive or negative. We've been through lots of similar situations and news which it didnt really make out some significant effect on the market.

This isnt something that you could rely when you are really that into fundamental because it could really messes up your analysis and approach
towards your decisions because this isnt always do make out some effect.
2055  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: January 28, 2023, 07:51:20 PM
Currently I still rely on salary jobs because I am still about 4 years old graduating from school, many offers to be able to get a job commission and if we compare it with salary jobs, of course, the Job Commission is greater, I have friends who work as marketing property and rely on the job commission and him Can earning around 2 to 4 times the salary I received.

Commission work is indeed interesting to get a high income that can even be ten times, but I think if it's sales it might not be consistent especially if in a business that has lots of competitors you have to really consider it before going into commission work and you also have to take it into account with your ability to sell, many of my friends are like that, they show high income from commission work at first but after a few months they say stop because the competition is very tight and they can't meet sales targets like at the beginning they worked.

Whatever the job, be it commission or salary based. it all depends on the expertise we have. we can do whatever we like, including in terms of earning income. there is no set size, which one is better. basically, everything comes back to the potential we have and how we use it to become an income-generating advantage. there are many people who make good money from their business, or from commission based work. there are also those who like regular income, some of us occupy strategic positions.

Everything has its own portion and potential, according to the expertise we have. because after all, both have pluses and minuses.  the problem is, it depends on us and how we choose according to the abilities, expertise, and opportunities we have.
Yes, because there are people who are really that good when it comes to marketing products or introducing services and other related stuffs which they would really be able to utilize those skills
and expertise for them to make more money specially if its commission based. Its true that you could potentially be able to earn up more than with those salary based but we know that
not all people would really be having that kind of skills which they could take advantage with. This is why most of the time people would be sticking out with those salary based or
fixed ones which i do also prefer, but if you do see that you are somewhat good on marketing then you could go with the another option.
2056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We lose on the long run through return percentage on: January 27, 2023, 11:55:45 PM
To be honest, I did not understand what the essence of your question is. Gamblers lose because of the advantage (margin) of the casino. If a person suffers from gambling addiction, then no matter how much money he wins, there is a great chance that he will spend it on what he loves - gambling, that is, will lose it.
So... everyone knows this and you want to clarify once again if this is true?

True being addicted to gambling will render a person helpless and continue to gamble.  So it is already given that once a player got addicted he will lose all his money due to the uncontrolled urge to gamble.  But I think @OP is not talking about being addicted.  I think he is saying that house edge will eat up our money in the long run of playing in the platform.  Just like in a return percentage of 96% in every $100 bet.  Eventually our bankroll will get depleted because there is a constant outflow of 4% from our bankroll in every $100  worth of wagering.

that's why gambling business is a very lucrative one if the owners how to handle this kind of business. that's the given fact already. but of course, gamblers will always hope that one day they will hit the jackpot. if you want to gamble, make sure that you are emotionally and financially ready to lose all. after all, it is gambling.
Gambling owners would really be taking that kind of opportunity or taking that advantage for them to make profits or revenue out of peoples perception and beliefs on mind about making money on

gambling. If it was never been that profitable then we wont be seeing this industry on being this big.Of course they are running a business and it would be normal that they would really be snipping out

small percentage house edge which is very typical. What wrong is here that people is really indeed pushing up themselves on trying to be profitable and winning which is
the main mistake on why people do end up on being wrekt.
2057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My step to promote bitcoin on: January 26, 2023, 11:56:23 PM
I see how many people are trying to promote bitcoins in their own way, I am moved and decided that this year, I will play my part in the most little way possible even if I am still a new member here and to bitcoins.

It took me some time to be able to think of something that I could do that will not cost me too much money since I do not have so much of that, and also something that will not require me to talk to people directly because I can get shy.

I decided to get stickers that I intend to distribute among transporters to put in their vehicles and tricycles, and also to put them in places that people can easily see.

I will appreciate someone help preview the post so my stickers can be seen.
--
A very commendable act or move for someone who is really that supporting Bitcoin not only on the earning opportunity that it gives but also into the usage and utility that it is really giving.
We know that recognition is on the move but it would be more much faster at least if there are people who are really that widespreading some awareness even into the most simplest way.
With these stickers then for those who do have zero knowledge on what it is, will really make some curiosity on mind on what it is and would be finding out on what
it is and it would mold up in a new bitcoin or crypto supporter or enthusiast.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 26, 2023, 09:55:21 PM

You are absolutely correct, in other words, we can simply say that there is no free money anywhere even in free town..
Like you said, it's a marketing strategy which the casino uses to try to get those who signed up on their casino and yet to take action to take the action, so far, I've not seen a bonus from any casino that came with out some requirements like deposit and wager requirements and all that, I believe this is something every gambler should already be aware of, the casino are in the business to keep making more and more money, when they decide to give out some of those money in the form bonus, it is also another strategy for them to make even more money.

Free money or bonuses are just camouflage, ordinary gamblers only know that what is given is a free bonus, but behind all that there are many strategies that they do to continue to make more money. Several conditions are enforced in order to get a lot of profit from the bonus that was issued at the beginning.
Casinos have a big turnover, they keep earning no matter what. fishing with bonuses as early camouflage and getting a lot of profit from one bait eaten by prey.
I agree it is marketing gimmick to convince users casinos take care of you as valuable customer. In reality, it is important to avoid depositing more after losing birthday or whatever bonus casino sent you, IMHO. Addictive gambling websites use this gimmick for years and most of users fall with their own decisions.
It wont be used if it wasnt effective or doesnt make sense at all and we do know on how these casinos trying to hook up their players which is something that a very common aspect that they would be trying it out because this is where they do make out some revenue or profits. We've seen on how gambling industry had able to grow over the years whether talking about those physical gambling places neither on those online ones which is something that do tells that it is really that indeed working or really that effective. This is why they would really be sticking into it.
2059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your successes over the past 5 years on: January 25, 2023, 11:05:51 PM
But when I look at my portfolio, I'm happy to look at it every time even if the market isn't that good at all,

I think it is the same story and we share the same measure of scam to it. Investing in Ponzi scheme is a scam already because it will eventually fail. Also back in the past ICO was all over the place and investing on it then seem like it was a sure way to financial independence but it never happened, it all ended in scam. This is the story so far but there is still light at the end because some investment still give you hope for increase soon during the bitcoin bull.
Yeah, and it's not a scam like those that we've seen and those pump-and-dump altcoins that we probably managed to have in our portfolios. I'm happy that I've kept still a lot in bitcoin and now regretting that I've used a few from my original holdings just to buy those altcoins that did become nearly as of typing this. We're all hopeful to the bull run and we don't know when it's going to happen but most likely, after the halving which is we're just 1 year and a couple of months far.
Im guilty with this one on which i have lots of shit coins inside my bag specially on erc20 specially into those times where ICO run is really the main thing which everything is hyped up,
but seeing the value of those coins and trying to check it out on which i do make myself that get depressed because of it but there's no other way to deal up with things but to move on.
Doesnt matter if we've been able to commit out those mistakes in the past, the important thing on here is that you do learn out of those experiences and make yourself much more
wiser and aware on how things do works.
2060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: January 25, 2023, 10:02:38 PM
Free crypto hmmm dear i think that 50 by 50 as the answer is Yes and No also. Yes you can earn some shitcoin or you can say that Some how small real cash as well. Dear You can't make big profits as far i know valuable assets can't be earned in free. For example you can earn some altcoin using the Airdrops & Bouties and many other promotional Campingns. You cant earn Bitcoin or leading digital coins.
When it comes to free then this usually talks about;

1. Airdrops
2. Giveaways

Its not bad to deal up with these things as long you arent submitting any like kyc or some money because we do know that there are lots of frauds and scams
