There are many ways to prevent the 51% attack for new coin but I mention the method used by some coins before to prevent the attack.
Increasing number of confirmations from usual so that anything fishy can be notice since the attacker will need the transaction to be confirm before the double spend will be successful. However, the attackers have no profit doing the 51% attack but to eliminate their rivalry coin.

Have never read the report before but I some how agree to what was said in the article because the bitcoin market was not looking good after the some particular whales flooded the market with thousands of bitcoin. Besides, they even mentioned the price range that the price will dump to but I don't know if bitfinex were the one behind it though.

Some bounties that I joined in terminated the FB campaign because of their advertising ban. It seems that if the ICO promotion did not pay FB, maybe as an advertising fee, then their link is always deleted and marked as spam. Even on messenger, they always blocked the link and you can not send it.
Of course there is cause I posted some on my Facebook account and everything is fine but Facebook blocked the ICO you're promoting then cause there's something fishy about the ICO itself. Besides, Facebook is doing all what yo said it happened to protect their users due to a lot people been scammed through ICO while the social networking site were blamed for it. |

Bitcoin was something of 2009. There are way better cryptos around now. BTC transaction time is way too slow. BTC transaction fees are way to high. Max transactions per second is 7 which is WAY WAY too slow. BTC has some serious scalability issues. BTC is vulnerable to a 51% attack since the 4 biggest mining pools (which are located in china) control 50% of the hashing power. This means if they and one other mining pool would team up, they could do some serious damage to BTC. Bitcoin has almost no utility. One current utility is being a bridge from Fiat to Alt coins since most alt coins don't have fiat parings. Another utility of BTC right now is using it to buy things on the black market, although this is slowly being replaces by privacy coins like Monero. Bitcoin will also never be a store of value, unlike Gold. Gold has a demand since it is used in electronics and jewelry.. . If your a Bitcoin maximalist, good for you.
Well, bitcoin is not vulnerable to 51% attack if you ask me and if Bitcoin is, we would have experience it before now. However, you're right when you said the mining company team up, they could do some serious damage to bitcoin but I wouldn't do that because it will affect their business cause they'll be the one loosing the most. That's why they won't even pray for it to happen. |

I think it is not stupid if we already get enough profit
Selling little bitcoin now is not stupid for trader that get into the cryptocurrency business at the early 2016 but it is a stupid decision for new trader if not in an emergency state of financial assistant. |

Well, most of the people that are said to predicted the future price of the market are saying things they thought will happen while some are making baseless prediction and i don't believe them either cause the price will never go below $6000. Your wallet is very diverse, and i like it, but in my opinion buying such quantity of ripples is risky. You should change ripples and litecoin to something safier like ethereum or neo.
I agreed with what you said about Litecoin cause the coin is already died in my own eyes but ripple is still okay though the coin don't usually gain much pump like ETH and NEO but it still a safer coin. |

Yeah it is fun if you have lots of money to spare and never really care about that much your preference and ours are different day trading isn't fun for everyone almost every traders that day trade's are always stuck at holding if they don't get what they want, unfortunately for some they didn't recover the loss that can't reproduce in the meantime leaving them broke as hell.
Day trading is fun of course when you are winning a lot and you are not losing but once that you will commit consecutive losses let me know if you still enjoys it. There are a lot of peoples taste and when trading is really your passion maybe you are gonna have fun with it but if you keep on losing then that is not fun at all. Trafing is hard but if you find the right strategy then you are gonna be great. Just do not celebrate all time and enjoy while you are still having fun because time will come tou will lose and you will feel the pain. I agree with your point mate. Day trading is only a fun when you are consistently gaining big profits and you are lucky enough in time for investments. But what if you lose all your crypto savings because of this ways. Is it fun anymore? I mean, it will all depends in a kind of situation. Maybe for big whales, it is just a fun but for us, who always seeks for opportunities, it's not. Day trading will definitely not be fun once the trader start loosing instead of gain cause the goodness of every trading is the profitability in it. However, only someone with much capital will earn enough profit through day trading. |

You already have a good collections already because the altcoin you selected NEO/EOS/ETH are nice altcoin with the require utility to give you awesome profit but I think will be more nice if you could add KMD to your portfolio because I have made an awesome profit from the coin before and UBCoin as your 5th coin. Mind you, their ICO will close in 2hr 40mins. |

I think you should opt in for trading. These are the lowest and the best price you can get in the market.Be wise and diversify your investment in Bitcoin and altcoin to manage the risk factor.Many have already opt out of this market but I still believe crypto currency has lot to offer to there customer.Hold your stake and you will not regret doing that.
I agreed to what you said because some cryptonier usually opt out when the market is in dump mode and my thinkibg is that maybe they think it the doomsday for cryptocurrency or maybe they think it will never rise again because it seems they dont understand how cryptocurrency market works and what to do in terms of bearish market which litterally open windows for max. profit. We're are not in the middle of the failed of crypto currency because we're in the middle of correction cause price manipulation was said to be involve last year market bullish and we both know that there's always price manipulation in cryptocurrency market. I guess this is why the whales flooded the market. However, it will be over soon buddy.
I don't think this is part of the price manipulation since the values should've been back earlier than this. I think what is happening here is that there is a bigger organization that is negating bitcoin, maybe a big company or companies that crypto has been affecting since it got more popular lately, its up for the investors and upcoming investors to trust or to negate crypto as its in the verge of rejection. I guess you misquote everything I said because everything you said clearly shows that we're both on the same side and the words manipulation means to control something either by force or skills. However, you're right about group or organization that control the market but it all good for experience cryptonier, you know? |

The risk for crypto currency beginners is loosing the money invested which lead to depress or seeing cryptocurrency as enemy or bad investment and the risk factors are buying or investing at the wrong time and investing into a shitcoin or ICO which barely have the utility to survive the market.
The precautions are don't be greedy, make research or ask question about the particular coin or ICO you wanted to invest in and always put in the amount you can afford to loose which is the reason why I said don't be greedy earlier.

Bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrency and others crypto currency are just copy cat of bitcoin protocol. However, all altcoin are traded against bitcoin and the cause of this current market dump was manipulation and FUD which leads to some market flood and panic sell. Meanwhile, so trader believe the only way to secure their fund is to dump their altcoin swap to bitcoin and then convert it into fiat currency.

There's no amount that a crypto currency trader can not use to start trading because what matter the most are the time you buy and some other important skills require to be successful in crypto currency trading. Although, the capital also matter in some aspect in other to make more profit.
Well said and I totally agreed to what you said because I have seen a lot of trader that have much amount to trade cryptocurrency and later run into debt cause they dont invest at the right time/lack the require trading skill. Note to Newbie : I want to advice every Newbie in this thread cause I see a lot shitcoin and token which were posted on this thread. I believed UBCoin is the best ICO for this month cause the concept of the ICO is to promote crypto currency, create a platform for new/existing crypto currency investors to become their dream investors easily, making crypto currency flexible to spend and creating a market place where people can trade by buy stuff with cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, the ICO will end in 38hours. |

You're right buddy cause something good usually happen when there's dip in the market ans my own believe is that the dump in price is like a door ones don't know it was left open whereby goodness sneak through it. However, I currently invest in Bitcoin and UBCoin cause the coin looking promising and with the concept I believe the coin have the require utility to survive. |

The main reason why you should do long term investment with bitcoins is because the bitcoin is still gaining more power and popularity.If you will observe the chart of the bitcoin, you will find out that its value is continuing to grow up and it is the reason why it is better if we will do long term investment.
As we know that long term trading gives you time to get maximum profit from market and this is not possible in short term trading in order to get maximum profit. Long term will payoff the most as we know of its nature especially in the Bitcoin which give you huge profit after a long term investment of trading as after long term the market value goes high and encourages selling. Both long and short aspect of trading can both yield more income not as you said. But, the trader must have the right capital and also buy at the right time.
