Still on track AFAIK. You will know more tomorrow or Tuesday.
Tuesday too late. I think they will not make it for september. If they ship one unit next week, I would be very surprised. Hell, even bitcoinrama lowered his standards and said that KNC will earn some points by showing a working unit by 1st of october.

Next week Bitfury will start to ship october kits. I didnt see a picture of a single hashing knc unit, but yet some people who ordered knc are demanding pictures of bitfury units? Boy, I am glad so much people ordered knc. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Only because they are already meant to be out in the wild, and I hadn't seen any myself showing hashing power and power consumption for his chip, yet heard a range of numbers for both variables. That said KnC wants to be showing hashing units soon, as promised. Will be any proof of the chips working before they start shipping? I don't remember and I hate to search this sorry... Of course - against people's wallets, again as promised, and I dare say a video, as it's really not hard to upload one! What for do you require a video? Let's derail this thread, here's a pic of my unit, received in August. As you can see, it draws 0.79 W/GH from the wall. Actually when it ran for a while, power consumption dropped to ~51 watts and by some tuning I got over 69 ghash hashing power. Currently these 3 h-boards are mining for over 80 ghash due to overvolting. [img]/img] That was with respect to KnC providing proof of chips working before shipping. I think it's a pretty standard and realistic expectation of standing by your product in the 21st Century. I mean if you can created a 28nm node die shrink, I'd envisage you can operate a smartphone and upload to YouTube! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) EDIT: If that can be done before 12am 1st October, then they earn huge brownie points and have fulfilled their promise. KnC promise was september delivery, what happened to that? Now they will earn points for showing a video before 1st of october?

this order can be converted to new boards with Bitfury chips.

Paid 3k euros.
starting bids @ 1800.
if paying in bitcoins, use bitpay exchange rates.

1. no 2. no 3. buy BTC instead

Very suspicious behaviour at stamp for last two days. I am really eagered to see what will happen.
I agree on that one. To me it looks like somebody is trying to manipulate and bring the bitstamp price to mtgox levels, when actually there isnt any real buying pressure there. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Monday, September 23, 2013 $127.21
Tuesday, September 24, 2013 $129.43
I think I liked your other indicator better. But I'll say that much: if the (short term) reversal that would be needed to reach your numbers takes place over the weekend, I'll give your new method all the praise it deserves. I don't see any signs for that happening, but then again, I usually only pick up trends once they started forming, while you seem to attempt to look ahead a bit more. what reversal are you speaking about? current mtgox price: 140 $. so, instead of a drop to 127 $, we will have it to 129. nothing's changed actually.

yes, thats true. However, I feel that if Burnin can get a single chip to 4GH/s then personally I'm inclined to believe that he can transfer that speed to a full board. So for me at least the main issue is price.
But I'm with you on the performance issue, it would be a lot more reassuring to receive clearer specs like Burnin did with the original boards tho
I am not sure about that. First> there is no chip binning at bitfury. so if you get a board with one or two chips that are dead or under performing, you can say goodbye to your ROI. Second> bitfury's cscape original H board design (with 16 chips) wasnt able to get the full specified hashrate at first shot.
|
|
|
the best performance they got out of these chips till now was 2.7Gh/s, so I would like to see it hashing at the "demonstrated 64Gh/s", and the stated 40-80Gh/s is so unacceptable, this is a huge scope (a factor of 2), it would be closer to logic if you said 70-80 Gh/s or 55-60 Gh/s, but 40-80 Gh/s is called cheating.
and again I would like to know what is the answer about your prices ? you have to make a statement today as tomorrow is the last day to pre-order for Octobers first week delivery .
This weekend Burnin already reached 4 GH/s. but 4 GH per chip is one thing, and 64 GH per board is another! if we give you 800 euros for first week of october delivery, are you saying that you are guaranteeing 64 GH speed?

HOW FUKING DISGUSTING IS THAT. AND IF SO WHY DID BURNIN ALLOW FOR IT.
burnin made a mistake when he transferred the whole user database. I guess cryptX saw how many pending orders are there and made this unacceptable pricing policy. he left us with no choice: 1. pay for Fury burners at premium prices 2. go back to burnin for 50 % refund
|
|
|
When I get all this right, Burnin stated his first price before Bitfury raised the price for their chips by 50%
for september delivery price per bitfury chip is 22.5 euros.

"save the bitcoin network" isnt a valid argument anymore.
thats early btc adopters + asic manufactures propaganda.

bids are building up (1k wall @ 123).
I am expecting some nice dumps on bitstamp.
Bids are building up and you think price will *drop*? It's not impossible I guess, but not very likely IMO. those 1 k walls are nothing in comparison to mtgox order book, but are big enough for bitstamp. remember that bitstamp is processing withdrawals. we all know that volume on bitstamp is small, so we have this market depth, but with bids building slippage is smaller and you could actually effectively test the price. last week somebody dumped 2 k btc, and brought the price to 115. today 2k dump would bring the price to 123. For me to dump on bitstamp is now tempting .

|
In unrelated news (and more on topic of this thread), bid/ask ratio shot up in the last 24 hours, from 0.67 to 0.85 (source: coinorama).
In the recent past, this was usually followed by a noticeable increase in $/btc. Will be interesting to see if it holds this time.

fuck them all.
just dont buy them.
if asic manufactures are asking for so much money for their ASICS, leave it to them to secure the network, and just buy and hold bitcoins.

ridiculous price.
I will probably ask for a refund.
|
|

You know, all this complaining about the price is unnecessary. You can just vote with your BTC's. Then when he starts taking a loss because he's not selling enough, the price falls.
he will keep miners for himself.
