2641  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has an exchange ever blocked your Bitcoins from Signature earnings? on: January 29, 2023, 02:48:18 PM
I am just trying to know from forum members if there is anyone who has ever had their bitcoin payments from signature advertising get blocked by an exchange, citing "suspicious transaction"?

What was/would be your course of action if they asked for source of funds or proof of source of funds, especially if you were dealing with payments from a bitcoin casino or bitcoin mixing platform (since most CEXs seems to be no so friendly with bitcoins from such platforms) ?

I almost got my transaction blocked, because, in the terms of our local exchange, they prohibit transactions coming from gambling sites or online casinos they still accept my request and I promise them that it will not happen again, so from then on I use Exodus to store my earnings and wait for a few weeks before sending it to our local exchange, I never send directly from the on, or have never used an exchange wallet to directly send my earnings but its only on our local exchange but on other exchanges, I have no problem at all.
2642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: January 29, 2023, 08:00:14 AM
Artur Beterbiev successfully defends his title against Anthony Yarde.

The early rounds were tough for both boxers and Yarde is able to keep up with Beterbiev. He was even able to connect some good shots on Beterbiev. But the champion is always a champion and after being fairly outscored at some point, he came out aggressive in 4th round and that's where the trouble on Yarde started.

I thought Yarde, that fully turned serious during the period of his training, will last a whole fight but ended up short.

It was really a war and I applauded Anthony Yarde, and I will tell you that I have him ahead on my unofficial score card and so is the two judges if I'm not mistaken. But the power of Beterbiev really caught up on him, that jab and then the chopping right. Once you are hit for sure you will feel dizzy and off balance as we have seen in Yarde.

Unfortunately, he just fell short on Beterbiev, if only he could have more power to hurt Beterbiev early, and then fight till the 12 rounds.

Yarde's courage is admirable this is one of the times I've seen Beterbiev getting hits and rocked by solid punches but every time Yarde hit him he always comes, those short crisp punches to the body and head take its toil on Yarde's defense
We all know that Beterbiev will beat Yarde but never expected that Yarde will give Beterbiev a hard fight.
There's no use in Beterbiev fighting other fighters he needs to prove that he can take someone as strong as he is and this is Bivol, they need to finally unite the title in the lightheavyweight.
2643  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning CrownChange.net is likely scam. Fake bestchange partnership on: January 29, 2023, 05:37:18 AM
Not only do they claim to have a partnership to bestexchange but they also claim to have partnerships with some of the top exchange and online wallets in the industry.

For them to have a partnership on these top exchange and online wallets in the industry they should have the Crownchange logo on their page also but it's unlikely they will be a partner in a two-month exchange, this alone give them away as a scam exchange, you never lie about your partnership.
2644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there gambling games/sports that suits a particular gender the more? on: January 28, 2023, 11:45:51 PM
In our present generation none that I can think of, we are living in a gender equality generation, if men can do it women can do it too, and if women can do it, men can do it also, it's not also profitable or will it gain attention if a sport specifically targets a specific gender, in our new generation, all sports are open to any gender, it used to be boxing and weightlifting for men but this category or sports have been conquered by women also.
2645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 28, 2023, 10:39:56 PM
As long as you are not coming back to play and you've used that money to improve your life and your family then you're good and you can say that you did beat the house, now the real fight is urging yourself not to go back to gambling again, because like a ghost it keeps haunting you to come back and play again, and this is the hardest fight to win because it will keep playing in your mind that you can do it again, and when you come back even if playing with a small amount, that's where the house will slowly get your winning.
2646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 28, 2023, 10:09:31 PM
Can't handle myself as well watching those slap matches, I don't know how they handle such strong slap right after the match, for me its very inhumane. Well, if they have the consent to do that probably its ok for them but to other viewers, that's too much. Anyway, I see there's a huge number of followers already on social media so probably many are already interested with the Slap league, hopefully they are being treated well here to avoid any serious problem.
They could have such a powerful slap just by practicing hard every day. I couldn't bear to watch the match because I imagined that if I got slapped, I would immediately pass out and not wake up for several days. I don't know if the game has a lot of fans or if it still needs promotion to get the viewer's attention. Those who compete will get good treatment because they have given the best for the viewers.

I also got that feeling too when watching it, I felt the slap, in boxing and MMA I have no feeling while the two fighters are exchanging punches and hitting each other because it's spontaneous, but it is very different when the punches or slap is anticipated, especially when the slapper is preparing to hit the other slapper, you're thinking if the slap is strong or hard and when it land you feel that it also land in your face.  Cheesy
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 28, 2023, 02:57:18 PM
I'm not interested into betting on sports and events in which physical harming is done. Recently saw a video in which two players slapped, and I got shocked to see a player get hurt.
In one of the matches at Dana White's event one fighter suffered memory loss after suffering from a brutal knock out

Quote
Kennedy had even forgotten why he had been knocked out, or if he even fought in the competition. Kennedy was unable to stand up when the result was announced

Participants should be checked completely if they are capable enough to receive a big slap, this is one dangerous sport that needs medical attention on all participants, there's a possibility that one slapper can suffer from permanent damage.

In specific the player's mandible got dislocated. I don't think most of the cryptocurrency accepted gambling platforms will add it to avail for betting.
It's early to tell but we never know if they will include this kind of sports event, Dana White has a huge influence it may get in some casinos if there are demands coming from gamblers.
2648  Economy / Reputation / Re: My Apology to Bitcoin Community and Request for a 2nd Chance on: January 28, 2023, 01:43:39 PM
I think most people deserve a second chance and I know many have gotten it on this forum, but in this particular case I agree with @lovesmayfamilis and I wonder how many chances the OP deserves if this is the third or fourth? I'm not one of those who was harmed in any way by the OP's actions, and I'm not one of those who supported the flag or left negative feedback, but all those who have a part in it should think carefully about whether it's time to change their opinion.

There is a saying that says "the wolf changes its hair, but its temper never changes".

Basically, it is not about the 1st or 2nd chance , he has scammed people money, not paid them their bounty work and now asking for forgiveness without compensating them does not make sense.

Yeah, i agree that it is not possible to pay every participant with his own pocket but i remember there were some projects where he was paid good by the project team for his efforts of bounty management, but the bounty scam the participants. Why now start by distributing that amount to the bounty participants as a token of grantee that he is really concerned about the bounty participants and this apology is not only to start his bounty management work again.

Why now why when after what happened to the bounty, the majority of reputable members are not ready to forgive him, because those who got scammed lose their hard-earned money and bounty hunters lose their time and expectations, if the reputable member will forgive him, then it's better that he compensate people or try a way to make amends to those who suffered from what he has done.
Jollygood and all the others are just right that they decline to take down their feedback, he should do something that will make their mind not just ask for forgiveness and take the bad feedbacks.

2649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 27, 2023, 11:50:32 PM
Alright! Hopefully, Fulton is committed to the challenge and is willing to travel to Japan. And I am also hoping that Fulton put this matter into his own hands and stops Al Haymon of PBC from deciding what to happen next to his career. Earlier, it was announced by the WBC to let Fulton and Figueroa do a rematch at 126 for the vacant WBC or the interim belt depending on the outcome of current 126 WBC champion Rey Vargas who's also moving up to 130 for the vacant 130 WBC belt. If Vargas losses at 130 then he can remain as champion at 126 and face the interim champ. I wonder what will be the reaction of Al Haymon after the arrangements earlier will be canceled due to Fulton's willingness to give Inoue (a rival Top Rank fighter) a shot at his 2 belts.

Gonna be hard for Fulton though, unless he separate from Al Haymon, but in any case, if he agrees to fight Inoue in Japan it could have been with the blessings of PBC already? or it is they just agreed in principles and then anytime Fulton can says no and go up to 126 lbs?

And I'm not aware that the rematch with Figueroa will happen in 126 lbs? it should be in 122 lbs since that is their first fight?

Anyhow, let's see how it goes for Fulton and Inoue here, hopefully the fight can happen as schedule around April-May in Japan.

Inoue and Fulton only agreed to face each other but there are no signed contracts yet. Most likely Fulton is now trying to get the approval of Al Haymon to travel to Japan and defend his 2 belts against a fighter coming from a rival company. Let's just hope that Fulton grows some balls and sticks to his words that he can beat Inoue. If he moves up to 126, I believe he will be stripped of his WBO belt at 122 since Inoue is now mandatory.

Fulton and Figueroa fought each other in order to unify the WBC and WBO belts at 122. The fight deserved a rematch because it was very close. After the defeat, Figueroa went up to featherweight and since Fulton is a reigning 2-belt champion, the WBC presented them an opportunity to rematch at 126 for its belt.
If it's mandatory he needs to defend the title against Inoue, Inoue's promotion I'm sure will give in to Fulton's demands because he is beatable and they want to make Inoue champion again, no boxer in the super bantamweight can match up with Inoue's speed and power, I think Inoue is more comfortable fighting in this division because he will just add few weights, but Fulton will give him a good fight compared to fighters Inoue fought in the past.
2650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Medical student wins lottery 5 times after embezzling graduation funds on: January 27, 2023, 11:13:09 PM
They failed to teach the student about honesty and also failed to trace that she is addicted to gambling if they discovered it earlier they will not entrust the funds to her care, and she ruin her career not only she will not going to finish her study but the school will likely ban her and worse she will go to prison for money laundering and embezzlement, this is what will happen if you are deep into an addiction to gambling, you will have no respect on people's trust and money.
2651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 27, 2023, 10:41:23 PM
Who didn’t hear or watch at least one video about Dana white’s latest show which called The Power Slap League that started this new year of 2023, the rules of this sport are easy and simple where both competitors taking turns trying to knock each other out in order to win
There is a lot of talking about it lately about the low payout of Ufc boss to the participants of this tournament which goes to only 3200£ a Fight while he might be generating millions of dollars of it, But my topic here i want it to be about betting on this new sport and tournament which i still didn’t see any bookmaker announcing anything about this matter, And in my opinion it’s a lot of fan and as any fighting sport there is always bookmakers that will eventually include Power Slap League and allow people to bet on their favorite fighters.

I first saw this kind of competition on a Russian page, it's very popular in Russia, and Dana White wants to make it popular here in the US and all over the world, I have a hard time watching this kind of sport it's kind of brutal because the participants are defenseless, Dana's defense is you only get hit three or five times in this event while in boxing and MMA you get to hit 100 times or even more but in boxing and MMA you can defend and protect yourself and fighters have gloves to lessen the impact, this is another cash cow for Dana White.
2652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 27, 2023, 01:51:47 PM

It's definitely true that the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact and made online gambling more popular. However, it's also worth noting that online gambling was already becoming more popular before the pandemic because of technology and internet access.

Let's look, for example, at the google trends of the last 5 years for terms like "Gambling" and "Online Casino":

There's no denying that there was a big spike in interest during the first year of the pandemic, but it's clear that people were already starting to turn to online gambling more and more. And, it's likely that this trend will continue even after things go back to normal.
Because everything is done online now, we are in a fast-paced generation now, we like the ambiance of physical casinos but we like the accessibility of online casinos, we are likely to enjoy more on physical casinos but we are likely to get more addicted to online casinos because of easy access, and comfort, we have a work from home because of the internet but now we have the gambling at home because of the internet.
2653  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: we always regret once the price go up on: January 27, 2023, 01:10:59 PM
If I have my way I don't want to sell in the bear market, in fact, I want to add more to my portfolio but we have some expenses that we need to address, as long as you keep a good portfolio you are good to go, the most important thing is you still have a good portfolio when the price moves up, right now my concentration is on the next halving and we are 13 to 14 months away and hopefully, no FUD is going to happen before and after the halving.
We can only stop regretting if we have good coins in our portfolio and we are prepared when the ear market shifted to a bull run.
2654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: January 26, 2023, 11:37:37 PM
^^  I don't know, but Paulie M. is already retired long time ago I not sure if we can value what he had said, he had a good career, no doubt, but he was not great to be honest, pillow fisted fighter, all he do is bark and with no bite, and when Cotto broke his jaw, it was over for him as his career didn't go up after that huge beating he got.

Anyway back on topic, Ryan says that he knows what Tank is doing, playing mind games already specially with what he says about his PED accusations. So he is ready by any attack from Tank's camp and on the other hand, he can throw his trash talk as well which he has been doing for the last couple of years. So I guess the feeling is mutual about this two with their accusations and verbal abuse.

Well, we cannot deny that Tank is a boxer who is like from the old school, he knows many things, he knows how to face the psychological factor, and of course he takes advantage of the networks to do what some friends say here is a "Psycho-terror" "It is something that is used a lot to cause fear to the rival, that is why Garcia says those things, because he knows very well what he is doing, however these boxers are as they say here: they are "old foxes" you know very well Well, they always look for a way to make an entire show by letting people know many things that only they handle in the ring, and in this there is of course an associated "pique", something that we all know.

I don't think he is form old school though, we have this new era of social media and that's where boxers like Ryan and Tank do their talking. Unlike before wherein they just want to face the best in their division, but now it's totally different.

Mind games have existed before though, Ali for example is one of those who open his mouth and trash his opponent even inside the ring.

But he can back all the talking because he is the GOAT. Unlike new boxers in this era, they are afraid to face the best and would likely be protected because boxing is now more of a business side.

Because back then there were only two promotions, Bob Arum's and Don King's and there are two boxing organizations WBC and WBA now we have 4 or 5 boxing promotions and 4  boxing governing bodies, and boxers are protected by their promotions
because they are their cash cows, they imitated the MMA and WWE promotions where you can fight boxers in your promotions a big shift from the old times when boxers can fight just anybody and their promoters and the governing bodies will allow them.
2655  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betrefs.gg | The Best Social Gambling Society ✌️ | Special Bonuses And More !🌟 on: January 26, 2023, 10:49:41 PM
OP's site is good but he should change the title of the article page to casino reviews at first I though everything is just a compilation of casinos with referral codes I have to roam around to see that he is also reviewing casinos but you have to look for it, it should be prominently displayed because gamblers love to read review sites and check ratings before they join a casino.
2656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 26, 2023, 09:57:50 PM
<snip>

I think he has a point. But to me, I think gambling in physical casinos is more enjoyable than playing on the phone, online. On the other hand, he already stated the reasons why gambling online is more addictive than playing in traditional casinos. Some other factors might be because it consumes less energy (which makes you play continuously for many hours) on top of it, you have all the means to deposit and play anytime.

You can also play long hours in physical casinos too, much longer in online casinos, I have known several guys who spent 2 to 3 days in casinos because everything is already provided in the casinos like food drinks hotels, and entertainment, that is why casinos are situated inside the hotels, the ambiance in physical casinos is to make your stay long hours and spend more, both platforms are addictive you cannot escape addiction if you have no control in how you gamble.
2657  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paypal are scammers like the FTX bitcoin exchange on: January 26, 2023, 09:28:02 PM

OP, is there no way you could retrieve your card details? Is it that hard to communicate with the issuer and ask for those?
There should be a way to do that if he got it from a bank all he needs to do is to ask the bank about the card details even if it is lost the bank will grant his request because he has the right to that information or have you not linked that card to any online platform so you can easily retrieve it, I understand OP's sentiment as I faced a similar issue about my account getting locked with funds on it, they can only grant your request if you cooperate based on what they asked for, even if you verified your account.
2658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 26, 2023, 02:53:46 PM
They cannot launch without a bankroll and just wait for gamblers to lose before they can pay their winners, I don't think any casino can sustain that those who do this have the intention to scam gamblers after they launch their casino, I've seen one thread asking for proof of funds which is an ideal for a new casino to gain the trust of the gambling community, but casinos will not do this because it will be a battle of proof of funds to gain more players.
The worst that can happen to a new casino is to have winners and they cannot keep up because of lack of funds, they will be reported and will eventually lose players.
2659  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason why I will never help anyone to invest in crypto on: January 26, 2023, 08:24:25 AM

There are some people like six of them who are troublesome to me, they don't want to learn but they like the success stories surrounding crypto investment, not sure about the risk side, the funny thing is they want me to help them invest and choose coins for them, to me this is like breaking the rules of crypto investment, meaning they have no knowledge about what they are investing money on.

I have never done that and will never do that the one who teaches me how to invest taught me what to look and not following him on what to invest, because of the volatility of the market, you will end getting a blame if the coins that you picked to your friends crash in the market and never recovered, I advice them its their money so they have to decide for themselves.

Quote
If you are in same position like me, no matter how much you like someone or want the best for them do not help them to invest in crypto, they are lazy asses who can't get anything done on their own, and this type of game I don't play it because, in the end, you will become their enemy.  It's already happening and I just ignored them. Is anyone seeing the same thing in their city or country?

There are so many people in our country because of ignorance and their perception of Cryptocurrency, choose to rely to people who are long time investors to pick the right coins to invest, they claimed to be overwhelmed by the technology behind it and you are right, too lazy to learn how these things work because it really takes time and effort to learn how to invest and profit.
2660  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Amazing Gambling-DeFi System on: January 25, 2023, 11:52:50 PM
I don't need to go more further about this site but I am sensing something phishy about it, any platform that will requires participants to connect their wallet is at a very high risk. Btw, what are the trust level to ask users to connect their wallet to the platform, is there no other methods for someone to join if I may ask?

OP already stated that this is a DeFi or Decentralized Finance
Quote
Decentralized finance, or DeFi, uses emerging technology to remove third parties and centralized institutions from financial transactions.
So the only way to join is to connect your wallet if you're trading on Pancakeswap you have to link to trade and its not high risk because it's just the way how DeFi works, you just take the code and the reputation of the platform based on reviews and users' experience.
