26561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Third alt coin thread last two were too big. Builds links thoughts etc on: February 22, 2017, 10:34:25 PM
@ citronick    we will have excess power at the solar array  starting spring march 21  ending fall sept 21

so buysolar and I will need to figure how we ramp up in the next 30 days.

@ LoneRangir

this new mobo almost certainly will run 5 gpus  as my gigabyte aorus does that.

I need to learn to do xmr cpu mining.  I had some helped and for what ever reason I have yet to run xmr cpu correctly

I have 6  biostar z170 good boards running.
I have 1 h81  does 4 gpus easy  does not like 5 or 6
I have 1 asrock z170 does 4 gpus easy
I have 1 asrock itx z97 does 1 gpu easy
I have 1 aorus z270  runs 5 gpus no worries.
I have 1 pandaminer  runs smOS fine runs Eliovp OS fine.

I have 1 h110  works poorly shuts off every 6 hours I should try it with linux

I have 1 biostar z170 the 80 day rma  does not seem to work correctly  but have only used smOS

The new  board  a z270 is a gigabyte  I will report on it. When I get it.

I have 8 mobile  rx 480's 4gb in the pandaminer
I have 6 msi rx 480's 8gb  in the aorus 3 in the h81 3
I have 2 msi  rx 470's 8gb  in the aorus 1 in the h81 1

I have 14 msi  rx 470's in the biostar and the asrock z170
I have   1 xfx rx 460  slim  in a biostar
I have   1 xfx rx 460 slim in the asrock itx.

I will move the pandaminer to the solar array and hook it up to omOS with the SRR

All the rest I just don't know at the moment.

I am going to do a build with this newer z270 board

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N2V0AHI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I had coupons paid 65 for it.

I have an intel i5 6400t and 2 sticks of ram

You opened a new thread Phil?

Yes they get too long to find anything.

I bumped and locked the other 2 so they are easy to find. I placed links to both threads.

reasonable!

Phil have you ever thought about cutting the part of a tower frame that holds mb + gpus for your 2-4 card rigs? I have two spare ones and when I´m finished I´ll post some pictures of course. This will help to hold everything together tight + installing some "case" fans etc.

Please show via photos.
Right now I have  6 biostar z170's partly loaded as I am prepping for newer gpus

26566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - BETA UPGRADE 2-7% performance boost on: February 22, 2017, 01:44:36 PM
My Config claymore-eth v7.4 (ethereum ) I think will work for you!

-ethi 16 -epool us2.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal 0x$walletETH.$rigName -esm 1 -epsw x -allpools 0 -erate 0 -mport -3333 -fanmax 99

BTW, small request... can the watchdog timeout be extended to 600 seconds or more - I noticed it goes up to 250 secs - in some instances where there is a short Internet cut -- it may good to wait a minute or 2 for cases like that without rebooting rig. Thanks

Yep, i will give much bigger limit to set.

Also i fixed the dashboard issue. Now it will work SRR options.

Thats great!

I think posting in the other SRR thread will be better so that I can share my review as I go along with other owners.

So far so good - this SRR will be very useful for my farm.

yeah I want to see reviews of the srr

also anyone with some info on setup for me:

Waiting for some reviews.  My setup is in my garage, but my summer power rates kick in  on June 1.

I have to either sell everything off in the next few months or  get an srr  and move the rigs to the solar array.

I would love to know if people like the srr.

They hope newbies buy it for btc since newbies don't know what xmr eth zec are.

so the above should work for 7.4

that will work

i have tried it before

you may want to use "stratum+ssl"

claymore fee is less if you use SSL

I think it will work just like his ZEC miner

I keep forgetting to click the upper left circle so it picks the change up .

duh  second or third time that happened

so anyone that ever mined in any block except part of block 1  is going to collect when I hit this block today.  Grin

Wow, is right. Block 454049, found by 7fa36312, with transactions fees of 1.547 BTC. There will be a few hours delay in releasing this block while I pull some coins from cold storage to put in the hot wallet. With two immature blocks in flight my warm wallet is too low.

well missed that reward.  but still got close to .78 btc coming in.

we have never done 4 blocks fast.

we have done 3 fast blocks

so lets hope for one more fast one.

To all  mmpool  makes his profit  when a block is fast the last block was good for him.

mmpool is the only pool that the runner of the pool takes on risk of a slow block like 70% or 80%

So let us  rip one more fast block to help  our pool runner make some coin Grin

I have 200 th pointed here and others have far more.  Lets win one for the operator! or is it the gipper?  (a very old movie reference)

Yeah I was pissed at the top guy tossing so much fucking hash here, but I will eat some crow and say three blocks in two days made it good for me.
