I am not sure if adding a reward or betting that is inclined with financial figures could be a good thing when it comes to chess. As stated by the others, if it is a game set in the computer, then cheating is most likely to happen. And I think that real chess players and chess enthusiasts would be dismay if matches would end up being rigged due to aggressive desire to win the monetary reward.
I don't think that chess game is rigged whether set in computer or real live chess game. In fact when chess is played you see everything clear and sometimes you see cluster of people watching and observing the players and waiting for their set. no geral eu achei essa aquisição boa pro mundo dos NFTs na verdade
alguns donos de punks já reclamavam faz tempo da inatividade dos criadores do projheto (larva labs), e do fato de não poderem explorar o IP (propriedade intelectual) dos puniks e meebits.
O que eu sempre entendi como um espectador do mundo NFT é que a Larva Labs nunca fez muita coisa para agregar valor aos seus projetos. Muito pelo contrário, lançaram o Meebits meio como um "cash grab" e um dos fundadores ainda foi pego vendendo os Punks V1 apenas para dar um anúncio dias depois de que eles não viam o projeto como "oficial"... Se eu tivesse um Punk, acho que estaria feliz pelo projeto ter sido 'adotado' por um grupo que continua no ecossistema e parece ter uma mente mais revolucionaria e que pensa no futuro dos NFTs. A LL me parece um grupo que foi pego no hype do NFT com um dos primeiros grandes projetos e aproveitou para ganhar uma grana fácil. Concorda com essa visão, como alguém mais ativo e mais NFT-friendly? discordo TryNinja haha por várias razões. obviamente nem mesmo os fundadores da LL esperavam que os punks se tornassem o que se tornaram, mas não acho que o intuito deles era fazer um cash grab e pronto, e salvo essa situação dos Punks V1 que é realmente reprovável não acho que foi o que fizeram. Os punks no começo foram distribuídos gratuitamente e o mercado oficial deles nem mesmo cobra royalties. Os Meebits foram um projeto que trouxe a onda de 3d pros PFPs, na época não tinha muita coisa de 3d ainda, quase ninguém falava em metaverso + NFTs, e eles ainda distribuíram uma parte do supply pra quem tinha apoiado o projeto antes (holders dos punks) o que acho é que a dupla é muito mais do time de construir coisas legais e testar ideias do que de tocar uma empresa e ganhar dinheiro, tanto que preferiram segurar punks ao invés de cobrar royalties no projeto, o que seria uma ideia muito mais lucrativa... enfim, podemos continuar esse papo eu me lembro levemente do lançamento dos meebits mas teria que pesquisar pra ver os detalhes direitinho também. |

I think that there's still space but it's going to be a difficult time to compete if they're just new. It all depends on how they're going to market their new casino upon entry. I guess they have to spend a lot in marketing to let the people know that there's a brand new player in the industry. It's not just about marketing and stuff, there's more to it. But if there's really a serious competitor that wants to get in, they'll for sure going to get in but knowing if they'll click to the community, I have no idea. yes, it's impressive how good marketing is key in almost all business regardless of their area. if a new player can put together a strong community nothing can stop them... even Duelbits is not that old company, right? |

sobre a indústria de NFTs, como ela é menor que de trade em geral e por estar crescendo agora, o opensea ainda não tinha concorrentes significativos até esse ano, o rarible que tinha tudo para ser um grande concorrente nunca conseguiu se estabelecer
É verdade, mas também ainda é cedo para sabermos isso. E apesar de ser difícil, até a Binance pode vir a ser destronada. Mas olhando para o exemplo da Binance e da CoinBase. A CoinBase surgiu em 2012 foi crescendo e tronou-se a maior até a chegada da Binance só em 2017. Ou seja foi preciso uns 5 anos para surgir num mercado um player que realmente conseguiu dominar o mercado. Porque apesar da CoinBase ser a maior não tinha um domínio avassalador do mercado. A OpenSea é a maior deste momento, mas reconhecemos que não tem um domínio avassalador do marcado. Ainda é cedo para perceber se ela vai conseguir isso ou se vai surgir no mercado um novo player que irá ter esse domínio. Sinceramente eu acho que sim, a menos que a OpenSea venha a fazer grandes alterações, que não estou a ver que venha acontecer. bem colocado! é interessante como a binance e a coinbase atendem públicos diferentes (que como num diagrama de Veinn terão uma parte que se sobrepõe, comum às duas) me parece que a Coinbase é mais porta de entrada, masi básica e a binance já começa a avançar mais e ter mais produtos, assim como a FTX tbm. também acho que o opensea poderá perder seu posto de primeiro lugar em breve, ou pelo menos perder uma parte significativa de marketshare (cair abaixo dos 70%), principalmente pq ele tem vários bugs e é muito lento em receber feedback dos usuários e mudar a sua principal vantagem atualmente é a liquidez, efeito de rede mesmo. |

Perhaps there are some users who knows how this security system works so lets wait for them if they can answer you with more details. in reality I'm not sure if it's possible, only in case the user is sharing more geo-localization information with the website, like if the user is accessing from a smartphone and not from computer if the users access with a VPN shouldn't be possible for the website to tell their country... This is simple, They will ask you to do KYC to determine your real location, In reality, people who got caught using VPN are those abusing promotions and not the regular players that using VPN for privacy purposes. So you will only get caught using VPN if you are doing shady things in your account. Most of the report issue in the forum before about VPN are using this reason to dodge and save there cheated funds but they are always being caught when they ask to do KYC. It’s very seldom for a casino to detect and hold your account for using VPN with just a normal usage of it. this is the point! totally forgot that they also have KYC this answers everything since KYC would point to users country regardless of the IP they use to access the website at any given moment. |

A primeira coisa que pensei quando li a notícia foi ´cade a lei antitruste dos NFTS?'. Óbvio que não foi um pensamento que eu levei a sério, mas eu sempre me indigno um pouco comigo mesma quando minhas primeiras reações/pensamentos são em buscar a solução no Estado, nas Leis e na política. É acho que detesto que ainda aconteça.
Mas enfim, sobre a notícia em si, realmente não é um problema, mas talvez seja uma pena em alguns sentidos.
Tem uma frase que li uma vez que me marcou muito, ela dizia ´´o verdade dinheiro foge dos holofotes´´. E sempre acontece de existir uma empresa IMENSA por trás de coisas que todos conhecemos, mas o que está por trás, ninguém nunca ouviu falar. Nunca na vida tinha ouvido falar de LVMH.

you have a point I think we'll end up with a mix, with more people learning about the importance of privacy and taking care of their data but also more people falling for the convenience trap and ending up giving even more information to third-parties... If other people don't care about your personal data, then what does it matter if they obtain it? Other people have stated that they do not want their personal information obtained. This is the biggest debate of all time. I believe that as technology advances, we will be forced to divulge more and more of our personal information to third parties. This is similar to the situation in China, where all of their citizens' personal information is collected and used for the greater good. No idea how they will handle our data with this, but I am hoping that they will use it for the betterment of the community. "greater good" and "hoping for government to do the best" are some tricky ideas... usually government will do the best to remain in power even if this means doing something that is not good for the people after all regarding data it's a game of cat and mouse, the more exploits and surveillance coming, the more ways people will find to protect themselves too |
