Several players have been caught cheating in the past. They have used a variety of technologies to cheat. Of course it started with a pocket PDA and then consult an engine in the toilet. Cheaters with a bit more high tech stuff have also been caught. I'm sure there are still a lot of cheaters out there who have not been caught and will not be caught. You need to have a decent level of chess if you don't want to get caught, and understand which moves a good player would make and which moves a computer would make.
I'm lack of knowledge about the history about chess tournaments but knowing that it happens, in every sport there were always those exploitation that's being done by these athletes. Too bad that these have to do it because they probably know that they can't compete. Why you need to think of being caught? You don't even want to get involve into cheating, the fun and intelligence that's involved in this game is going to be gone if someone thinks of doing it.

That's basically why I quit online gaming. There's rarely any online game where you fight other players that will not make you nervous. Even games where you play with others against an AI can be frustrating.
I can feel you when I've read what you've said. It's true that even we're just playing against AI makes me frustrated because the higher it gets. The intelligence and strategy of these AI are becoming better and I admit that I can't defeat the higher levels it's funny to think that these are no real people but programmed in a better way to play for the better chess players. But if someone really wants to get a focus on this one, he can be one of the best and it's a good training ground that we have nothing lose. If you are competing against someone as good as yourself, you will be forced to play at your best. You need to be aware with your moves and set a plan. It takes more than just accumulating chess knowledge, you need to improve your ability to concentrate, your mental endurance, and your emotional control. Yes, I know. You need to be better than the opponent of yours. But it sucks at first when you're having a losing streak knowing that your opponent is an AI. I've been there and done that and I couldn't be proud of myself since I'm not even a good chess player but it's also amazing at the same time, that these AI's are really good to be your sparring partner to become a better chess player. Several players have been caught cheating in the past. They have used a variety of technologies to cheat. Of course it started with a pocket PDA and then consult an engine in the toilet. You need to have a decent level of chess if you don't want to get caught, and understand which moves a good player would make and which moves a computer would make. Well there are advantages and disadvantages in every game and in every field. Chess is the game for mind champion. So they will come up with good plots and keep eyes on all the moves. I am sure the chess players have a different ways of looking at the things. But what is the most used online platform to see how the players keep the game rolling.

Really? I played Chess before and kinda forgot how to play the game but I still knew the basics. Now, what kind of cheat are referring to? Can you please elaborate more in a detailed way how those cheat works in Chess?, Because as far as I know, movements are controlled by the opponent (not unless If your opponent is an AI). There's no way to cheat and read his mind lol. But, seriously I want to know how cheats works in this kind of game?

The computer can calculate every possible move, its a brute force tactic. I'm glad they can detect and remove people who use that kind of assistance, its really pathetic. It wont be that rare among the general population because some people will aim to cheat at just about any game they possibly can but actual proper chess players I would hope not as would you ever really improve. Sadly I did hear of a top player recently caught using a computer while taking a rest room break, I'll look for the link https://indianexpress.com/article/explained/explained-can-grandmasters-cheat-in-online-chess-and-getaway-7257938/

You can't find anything like that the closest you can get is Chess.com but they don't have a betting feature and you can only play to increase your rank though I find it very nice that many people here do like and know how to play chess out of a lot of sports Chess is the one that considered as sports without a physical activity. Would you think some gambling sites here would add a Chess game and users can invite other users to play Chess and have a bet and winners takes all pot?

CHESS WEBSITEHere is a site where you can sure play chess with another friend that also had an account in it and you can also play with a bot to challenge your self and surely enhance your skill, but this site is only for fun and you can not invest any online money or crypto in it yet and this is the best site I know you can surely play online chess with your friends and other users on that site, well, if you want to have a betting match with another player you can always talk to him a winner takes all gamble and have an escrow to hold on your investments. Nice share , Had been looking for this for long as I am a Chess lover that also wanted to Play against my friend with crypto related bets and investings. And also with the Bot available that i can play freely ? then i may be interested in this for now and forget casino sites for a while. Will share my experiences here sooner as I will create my account now .

I am not sure if adding a reward or betting that is inclined with financial figures could be a good thing when it comes to chess. As stated by the others, if it is a game set in the computer, then cheating is most likely to happen. And I think that real chess players and chess enthusiasts would be dismay if matches would end up being rigged due to aggressive desire to win the monetary reward.

The competition would be futile if they would even think about cheating when effort should be made, not some sort of tactics to just win, disregarding the process on how to get the winning title and prize. Nowadays, it really isn't a secret that there are numerous ways to cheat. In almost every platform and games, there are cheats that are being made and sold. However, this just beats the essence. In addition, the cheating ways aren't even guaranteed so why bother. Instead of thinking that way, you can condition your mind and aim for winning by playing neat.

Anything that is done on a non-face-to-face basis would really be always be having that kind of probability or likely to have that cheating which is something that understandable already. This is why its not surprising that we arent seeing websites that do offer chess online based on what i do observe, if there's one then there's no solid thing that it could be proven out that we are dealing with real players and not Bots which would really give out that kind of hindrance.

I don't think that chess game is rigged whether set in computer or real live chess game. In fact when chess is played you see everything clear and sometimes you see cluster of people watching and observing the players and waiting for their set. I have not heard people complain of being rigged out in the game or cheated, if you lose you know it that you have lost out.

They've got the guts to do it but they'll always be found out of what they've been doing. If it's for chess, they can't do it anymore especially if the game is on live and not through any online platform. But anyway, there goes the chess platforms where everyone can meet and beat each other and one time, those that don't fight fairly will still be caught.

Currently never seen gambling with chess I only know that there's a chess game online which you are allowed to compete with the other and I guess if the bet it will outside with the chess game and both player are now at risk because there's not included on the rules, the other members already given the chess platform but there's some issue about cheating that might to be fix to prevent cheating in this casual game.

But what if the player uses third-party programs from the very beginning? Then the computer will not be able to notice the change in the player's behavior and determine that his level of play has changed. The computer will perceive this as normal chess player behavior. Firstly, all strong chess players from the very beginning of their careers play in live tournaments where cheating is as complicated as possible, almost unrealistic. Secondly, even if you cheat all your life, you will be caught on the fact that your analysis is statistically too close (unlike other players) to the computer one. In addition, if a player plays games as first lines of chess engines, then he automatically receives a ban on almost all chess sites.
This surprises me a little. Chess engine programs are written by people and loaded into it with standard moves, combinations, debuts, that is, everything that was used or is used by chess players. Any average chess player can use one of these options, but this does not mean that he is a cheater and there is no reason to ban him. You are probably far from the world of chess and from computer analysis. Firstly, modern chess engines are neural networks that have learned themselves and have nothing to do with "learning" from people. Programs written by people still exist, but this is the previous generation. Secondly, computer programs offer such moves that ordinary "protein" players have not even dreamed of, this is easy to identify.

Can anyone tell me if you know any website where you can play online chess with other people and that both man can invest crypto and winner takes it all?
Betting in chess sound as a nice way to gamble, the problem is people could use a computer in the hard level to play chess against other people, that way the gamewill be rigged and the winner will be the one with a smarter PC. So, if you find a place to bet on chess, i would like to recommend you to not place a bet. This is true and probably why a chess gambling site could never be fair in any reasonable setup. Even world champions have been beaten by the best chess playing algorithms. All the information is readily available to always make the best calculations, unlike a game like poker where even a computer is unable to make a solid counter against an expert who will understand bluffing and pot odds. Seems like a novel idea and could be fun, but it's wide open to abusive players.

Apart from audience - this is a big stain on his career. I am sure he would be repenting so much for what he has done. Fair game is always liked and admired by the audiences. No One would like to have a tag of cheater along with them - even if they are cheating. Have they had focused on the game - he would have done better than focusing on cheating. Big stain on the sense that it would really be changing up his entire career situation because once you do already have that bad impression on being a cheater then people could not just trust you once again because we do know that once trust is broken then you would really be having a hard time on getting it back and this is the thing on which people is looking at him as a cheater. He cant be trusted once again. Well, we do all change but he shouldnt have done it on the first place.
