2661  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest - $5000 Prizepool up for grabs! Ends August 31st on: September 04, 2020, 01:45:34 AM

Winner number 2, well this is i can't say anything since i'm amazed too with the result.
Hey, thank you for those kind words. Appreciated.

Winner number 1, Does roobet kill the monster? Is roobet a game site? The art isn't even completed yet if you watch the video until the end. What's the relation between Kill the monster and gambling site? 0 or ZERO, it has nothing to do with the gambling
Winner number 1 @Yatsan is indeed a great visual creator hence he will not be called as one of the great artist who participated in the last bitcointalk 10th anniversary art contest, that is why he is wearing that particular limited edition "brush" badge.

As per his entry though, it is actually not about the concept of killing the monster or being related to a gambling site but rather it is about employing his skills in which he did a great job on creating such magnificent frame by frame animation which is quite difficult to implement on an artist's point of view.

Also, as far as I know, there is no such rules where the need of creating an artwork is based on a gambling concept. As long you incorporate the roobet logo and mr. roo itself onto you artwork will do. Even my entry, it does not include the gambling concept but rather a halloween concept which is pretty unrelated to how gambling works LOL Grin

Thank you!

Well, that application was used solely to survive amidst pandemic but then I managed to build my personal computer in which I currently use for commissioned digital drawing and any other graphical editing tasks. Glad you like it!

Platform used: Tinkercad

Hey guys! Just wanna share that the previous logic circuit that I have made which is the quoted message above can be simplified using "Boolean Algebra" rules in order to reduce the number of IC to be used while maintaining the project cost efficient.

@Peanutswar, I think it would be very good idea to at least give some time creating a lecture with regards to how Boolean Algebra works as well as creating "Karnaugh Map" or "Quine Mc Cluskey" as a means to simplify Logic Circuit canonical forms.

Furthermore, I just want to add another application if you want to create logic circuit diagram. You can use "Logisim" for that.

This person bought merit and I sent it, but didn't pay me
You just compromised each other's account due to an abusive behavior LOL. I know that you are aware of this kind of transaction right? or else it might lead to a regretful moment of your stay in bitcointalk.

3. Become a money lender
Lending money is also like going through a career, you get income from the loans you provide.
The funny thing here is that the forum teaches me on how to overcome the aghast whenever I lend someone my hard earned money. Due to this community and to our very own local section where I started microlending to my fellow countrymen, my lending journey started and eventually become reputable at some point and started making profits  Cheesy

[1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193294.0 - I've had few lending transactions here.

4. Become a professional designer (graphic / website)
Threads, signature campaigns, promotions all require designs to attract members' interest in Bitcointalk. If you don't get the opportunity at freelance website services, try to be more serious about improving your design skills. Thus you can be trusted to be the permanent designer of a project. Or use the service by top BM.
Well, fortunately, having a service thread where I draw digital portrait and animal drawings helped me to survive amidst the pandemic. This also gives me the opportunity to showcase my talent and invest on the materials that enhances the output I am creating. As a result, I managed to harness my skills and be able to join few Art Contests.

2670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: August 29, 2020, 12:28:26 AM
The dilution fees generally makes us reluctant to put coins in and out missing even the larger fluctuations.
In YOLOdice, I don't think that's true. Yesterday, ethan_nx, announced that the dillution fee will be abandoned for the safety of investors especially if there is an instance when a whale is active making large bets

3. Dilution fee concept is being abandoned

I've been waiting quite a while to give the dilution fee green light, but something did not feel right to me. I have finally decided to abandon this idea for a simple reason - I don't want to keep invested coins "locked-in" and penalize investors for any operations on their coins. IMO the dilution fee would do more harm than good.

Cheers,
Ethan

If you know what you are saying or at least have some basic knowledge with respect to a certain topic, then you can definitely earn that merit without you expecting it. Perhaps, it would not hurt you so much if you can spend some time reading articles, bitcoin posts, and any other crypto related stuff that will establish your capacity to contribute on a meaningful discussion later on.

The thread below contains good discussion with regards to your concern created by @mu_enrico

I'm waiting for your actual with the use of BBoard, also thanks for the idea with the use of the NI Multisim I haven't use this on my projects.
Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to use an actual implementation in breadboard due to absence of a face to face class and the crisis caused by the pandemic. I just hope that in the next few months, things will get back to normal.

Moreover, NI Multisim is a pretty interesting tool to be used for creating and simulating projects before applying it for a real implementation. It just takes a little bit of effort to familiarize yourself on every button on the application. Also, just a heads up, NI Multisim have a paid subscription and you can only used for 7 days trial if you are not going to purchase it.  Roll Eyes

Long term yea but how long? Seeing the losses made recently in the LTC investment for old investors, then I wonder if it worth keeping my money for long time or just invest in the deep and divest at high. I am talking about - 70% ROI for early investment. This 70% needs months or maybe years to recover and to start winning again.
The movement of your profit isn't something similar to the movements of supply and demand. You really can't determine whether the graph is in a state of dip nor high and that is not something you can depend on with regards to your investments.

In fact, there is no certainty that the graph will soar high if it is experiencing a massive low and vice versa. The only thing I can be at least sure of is to have multiple investment in different casinos to at least reduce the damage if whenever there is a whale winning.
2677  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: August 22, 2020, 04:00:35 AM
And who made all those new investments, the gambler? I don't really understand what happened, it's like the gambler divested a lot, then started playing, crushing the rest of investors that stayed and now has reinvested again.
If that is true! That is some quite impressive moves as an investor and at the same time investor. Imagine that if you lose against house, you are still cutting the percentage of your loss. But fortunately, he almost actually crush the whole LTC bankroll.

Well, the recent winner seems to have a lot of luck. I was constantly checking his bets and stats looking for anything unusual that would indicate it was not a fair game, but I found nothing so far. We looking at anything suspicious in our code and in server logs just to make sure nobody has access to server seeds, but we found no leak.
That was a relief though  Cheesy. Also, thanks for the quick response for the sake of investors as well.
2678  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: August 21, 2020, 04:03:27 PM
Hey! I just want to ask since I am a little bit worried about YOLOdice. What will happen to YOLOdice if ever the one who is playing in Litecoin bankroll will totally wiped off the entire LTC bankroll? I have seen him/her ripping it continuously which results to a massive loss especially to LTC bankroll investors.  Huh

Seriously, this guy is insane. Is there any chance that he found a big security flaws?

2680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: any sportbooks support LN on: August 20, 2020, 08:04:10 AM
Nice finds Maus but I guess those are just lightning app games,,, not sportsbooks as requested.
Yep, those are just common gambling games only with the exception of having Lightning Network enabled. But unfortunately, as everybody said, there are no current sportsbook with LN implemented other than recently closed Microbet.

I am currently exploring how LN works just in case this system has been implemented on the gambling industry.
