Just before they lost to Germany in the tournament's title game in 2014, they last participated in it. And I still have a bad feeling about Croatia playing Argentina since it may be Messi's last stop, just like it was for Ronaldo. Portugal never expected to lose to Morocco, and Morocco really played well after scoring one goal before switching to the defensive.
I expect Argentina and France to reach the finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Because they have enough potential to secure victory in the semi-finals. However, a France win against Morocco will be very easy to secure. On the other hand, it will be difficult for Argentina to secure a win against Croatia, as the team defeated Brazil and they have a lot of good players in their team. We all expected many things from the onset of the world cup and boy have we seen alot. Well no one can actually say or tell when another bull season will be experienced and most certainly no one can tell if the bear season can go way worst than this already experienced. Ronaldo can be seen shedding some tears as he leaves the field into the dressing room. Who would have thought that Morocco, the only African country to still remain in the tournament just beat Portugal by a goal and thereby sending them home and out of the tournament. The dreams of Ronaldo lifting the World Cup has now be eliminated by the Moroccans. I think it was a great game and in my opinion, the Portuguese underestimated the Moroccans and got beaten. I almost felt pity for Portugal as their players took the loss badly. In all, it was a great game. Just not the results I was expecting but that’s football for you.

Yes I think everyone knows this because in the previous world cups the likes of Cameroon, Senegal and Ghana has achieved same success but what makes this one different is the fact that Morocco has done this in an impressive way. They got the highest point by an African team in the group stage, defeated the heavyweight teams that were in the group and ended up topping the group. They have done all this without losing a single game and now they're in the quarter finals. It also came to my knowledge of recent that the Arab nations are now coming Morocco with headlines like then been the first Arab nation to achieve this and only Arabic team left in the competition. Once again when they win they're been called Arab but when they lose African, well I'm grateful the coach made it very clear of Morocco been an African nation and we'll be routing for them today. International I'm supporting Portugal and if Morocco can't go on to win the tournament then they should step them for Portugal who has a higher chance of winning since the likes of Brazil are out of the tournament. No doubt Morocco has indeed done very well in this world cup. I couldn't imagine the likes of Morocco topping their group with the likes of Belgium in their group. The world cup it self has been a very surprising one with so many top teams loosing or going out in the group stages. Its also depends on how the person handle his way of living and most times when the struggle of life get to us we then get ourselves involved in loans and depts and if you are very unlucky you will be entangled in it and before you know it you have really got yourself in deep shit. After messi had scored and it was 2-0 , it would be just naturally for the Netherlands to ease their pressure after going two goals down but that wasn't the case here like you said they exploited the weakness in the Argentina defence and pull a wonderful comeback and drew the game at 2-2. This would be the second time in the competition if the Argentine lose that they have taken the lead but let it go and also this was the first time in the Qatar 2022 world cup that the Netherlands have trail by a goal and in this case they were even loosing by 2goals to nothing. I didn't really expect this result and I thought Brazil would win this trophy. Perhaps one of the weakest teams at the moment managed to eliminate the most favorite team. Congratulations to Croatia, it is a great achievement that they conceded only 1 goal in such a match. Once again, we have seen that it is not so important how good the team is, its performance that day is more important. Once again, we watched a match in overtime and the favorite team was defeated on penalties  Yeah truly it is now seen that nothing is impossible in the game of football. The favorites to win the world cup has been knocked out of the competition by the last world cup runners up. Croatia is just an awesome team when its comes to team spirit and togetherness in the field of play. I followed this French tv program where Dave Appadoo who is a journalist could predict the right results of all round 16. This table made before they play round of 16 He said Morroco will win against Spain and going to be a surprise when everyone didn't believe and that's really what happened. And i also can't agree more than him with the rest of his predictions. Brasil in final against England and comarads of Neymar will gain this cup  It's just a coincidence for sure. I have been watching a guy in the group stage who predicted 4 matches correctly with the goal scored even but he was wrong at his 5th prediction. We don't know what's going to happen; I'm going to pick Portugal to win the world cup this time. They seem unstoppable in the last game. I see the France team as very likely for the final. Because all the players in their team are very experienced. Kylian Mbappe, one of the best strikers in the team, is in great form and will play a huge role in helping the team win. A World Cup break of two straight days after 17 straight days of World Cup action. 2 days off was just too exciting for me, I could not contain my excitement. There are only eight games left. In as much as I am enjoying this break, I am also looking forward to the quarterfinals. We can look forward to Brazil and Argentina both completing a clean sweep tomorrow. There is nothing I miss more than samba dance celebrations.
Yeah the players needed the break its not easy to playing football for almost two weeks plus if anything they need to cool their heads and come back refreshed for the round of 8. The world cup has been a display of many talents from all around the countries that participated and we the fans have truly enjoyed watching them perform. Now that the round of 8 is about to kick off i will be very careful on who to place my bet on now because this not a round of surprise wins ,its always go down to penalty shootout and I think i would predict on under2.5 goals in the matches.
