hartcode seems to be working again ( but not within coinreaper for some reason ).

bitcrate is still empty but according to the tweets will be refilled soon.
2663  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FREE BITCOIN Sites *and* Free Newbie Lotto on: April 27, 2013, 04:30:52 PM
Has anyone received bitcoins or litecoins from these sites ?

for bitcoin :
http://canhasbitcoin.tk/

for litecoin :
http://canhaslitecoin.tk/

I have not gotten anything from them after 1 week.
I hoping it's not my wallet that is the problem.

canhasbitcoin.tk has been confirmed to payout and is in the list.  I will keep an eye on it to see if it is still paying out regularly.

Thanks for the report.

I don't bother with litecoin...

Hi all.  Yeah, I've used canhasbitcoin (they have a .com address as well, didn't see that posted) and they do pay out.  One of the nicest things about it is that it will link to another faucet after you submit, which then links to another faucet, and so forth - I think it turns out to be close to ten total faucets, and most if not all of them are 30 minute ones.

I can only hope they don't dry up anytime soon, as I am VERY new to BTC and this has provided a small amount of what I like to call "messin' around coin".  Smiley

Thanks for the report.

Such a list already exists and has for a long time, and has many community members checking it everyday to make sure it is up-to-date and safe.

Just a note www.coinreaper.com is back up

Got a payout from bitcoinforest, so it definitely works, just a horrible buggy site.

Thanks for the reports.

And of course if you find any of these sites not paying out or doing something suspicious etc., please let us know here.

These sites are usually checked everyday, but only the paying out free bitcoin part, and we can't keep on top of things
24/7 either.

Thanks
Just wanted to say, not trying to hi-jack your thread or all of your hard work portnoy, just trying to lend a helping hand. Didn't want you to get the wrong impression or anything.

Not sure why you feel the need to say this. I saw nothing wrong with anything you posted.

All help and feedback is welcome and appreciated. This thread is for everyone to find out what the best and safest sites are to get free btc,
and to share their experience on what are the best sites to use and which ones are best avoided etc...

The more people using and checking these sites and reporting back, the more easily we can weed out the bad ones and maintain a safe and easy to use list of worthwhile sites.

Thanks for your, and everyone elses, participation.   Smiley

Thanks for compiling, although some are sketchy and don't work so well.

Bitcoinforest is buggy as.

Does the guy have his own thread on these boards  so i can tell him?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=91812 Follow that link to send the owner a PM and tell him all about it.
It is my belief that portnoy was hesitant to add it to the list to begin with so, I would be weary.

Yes, a lot of these sites have some sketchy links and stuff on them besides the form to give away free BTC.

I would say just make your submission for the free btc ( which is what I check before adding them to this list ) and then get out...
without completing any offers; doing any surveys; clicking on any links... especially coinurl, adfly and other redirection links.

most of the site are temporary down or out of bitcoins..

The only one I see being down is hartcode. And the only ones that are empty are the ones that are always empty like bitcrate ( and they are pointed out in the list with the * ).

Derivatives and greater liquidity will bring more stability over time ( we are still early days ).

Merchants can also use such things to hedge, if they choose to hold a lot, or some, BTC
instead of using services like Bitpay, which can convert the BTC to fiat for them right away,
which lessons their exposure to fluctuations.

More merchant adoption brings more liquidity and more stability even as it increases in value
with greater demand.

And of course the value is largely irrelevant in its intended use as a global decentralized p2p
payment system.

You can see in the list, in the OP, that it was one of the first Free Bitcoin sites to shut down
and be moved into the discontinued section.
