2661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 22, 2021, 07:57:05 AM
because based on Nonito's last fight, he still have that power to knock out anyone.

That was exactly the reason why age should not be considered as a disadvantage for Donaire.

Remember that he's the one who gave Naoya Inoue his first cut damage on the champion's career (a cut above his right eye) and the first boxer to make Inoue struggles to win.

Gaballo surely knows that he's up against the monster. I'm looking forward to him giving Donaire a tough match.

Both of them looks tough that is to say the fight is gonna be tough . Let me not just conclude the fight in looking in appearance,  because  sometimes what think about in appearance  is not what really come true. But won't miss to watch this fight.
It's not totally based on the appearance only, it's based on their record and how they beat their past opponents.

What happened is, Donaire had a clear win against Nordine Oubaali as he knocked him out early, while Gaballo is coming from a controversial split decision win against Emmanuel Rodriguez, and he has not fought an elite boxer before like Donaire.

"I got my investment back, rest is pure profit" mindset.

I always have this kind of mindset, but sometimes when you lose your profit, you would also feel bad as you could have taken that money out and invested it somewhere less risky than crypto. As an investor, I don't only focus on crypto, instead, I look for other forms of investments and even business just to minimize the risk and that my cash flow would continue in case crypto will collapse.

The man that made his name known when he took over Steve Kerr as interim coach of GSW was fired on his third season at SAC https://www.nba.com/news/report-sacramento-kings-fire-coach-luke-walton-after-6-11-start His replacement will probably have the same fate hehe. You cannot really do much as a coach when your general manager sucks at picking the right players. I just found out that they had the chance to land Luka Doncic or Trae Young.
Walton's another coaching journey is over, this is not good for his career, and though he was not officially fired with the Lakers before but it still looks like he was fired since the Lakers aren't really doing well under him.

Lakers ‘Mutually’ Part Ways With Coach Luke Walton
This looks like you are asked to resign or you will get fired.
2664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 21, 2021, 09:20:20 PM
Game : Warriors vs Raptors.

I think Curry and Green will come back from rest and will be available in this game. Raptors is a decent team, but The Warriors playing at home would always dominate, so I will take the Warriors -7.5 against the Raps.

I'm in on this, Warriors are currently the best team in the league no doubt.

With Klay Thompson's imminent return will they be unstoppable again ? Playing defence against Curry is one thing, but having the splash brothers would again be another.

Hopefully, Klay Thompson will be back soon.

Curry is leading the team with good chemistry with his teammates, that's why this team is really dangerous and they have nothing to prove anymore, so I'm confident with my bet. If they beat the Nets on the road, there's no way they can beat the Raptors at home.

Good luck to us!

Houston Rockets added another on their losing streak and it is now their 14th loss. Some games are within reach, some are not.
Yeah, it looks like the Rockets management did absolutely nothing during the offseason. As far as I know, the Rockets lost 20 games in a row in the previous season, and it was the longest losing streak in the Rockets franchise history. So I won't be surprised if they set a new anti-record this season.
What else we can expect from those rookies, Rockets managements are not doing anything to improve their competitiveness.

Without any good trade, this losing streak will continue, and it's possible to break the last
record for this franchise in having most losing streak.

For now, the team is doing what they can provide. It's the management to play their cards in
bringing decent players into the team.

They weren't the same team when Harden left, now, they realize how important Harden is and they have to make sure they'll find a way to make this team a playoff contender once again. John is still with the team, I think they are looking to trade him soon, but they have to make sure that it's someone that is healthy and could help the team to bring back its competitiveness.
2666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 21, 2021, 12:04:33 PM
With the fight that is less than a week to finally come, I think we should bump this thread.

What do you think about the statement of Kambasos that Lopez was scared of him?

Quote
‘He’s scared of Kambosos’
Kambosos’ upcoming opponent Teofimo Lopez wasn’t spared the Aussie star’s fury - with Kambosos insisting the American had been running from their matchup.

He believes that it’s not just him, but also other fighters, that think Lopez is avoiding the fight.

“You’ve got the undisputed 140 pound champion of the world Josh Taylor in a recent interview saying, ‘I think he (Lopez) is scared of Kambosos, I think he fears him’. And obviously, Devin Haney said the same thing,” Kambosos said.

source : https://7news.com.au/sport/boxing/george-kambosos-jr-slams-triller-promotions-for-mishandling-boxing-unification-megafight-with-teafimo-lopez-c-4591049

I didn't expect that the fight is fast approaching and the long wait for it is almost over. I still put my hope for Kambosos though Lopez seems silent yet well prepared. Kambosos is underrated but lots of people are also betting on him. I do not doubt that it will be a tough yet exciting match this year.

Because they believe in Kambasos and the odds are very attractive. Kambasos will take this as a big opportunity to make a name in sports, if he wins this fight, he can be a superstar in boxing as Lopez beat Loma, so it's like he beat the 2 boxers or shooting 2 birds in one stone.

2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 21, 2021, 09:44:35 AM
Great performance and a well-deserved win by Crawford Porter's father stopped the fight after Porter suffered two knock downs

That's the instinct of the father to protect his son from further damage. After that second knockdown, Porter doesn't have the legs anymore to continue competitively so that's a good decision by the father to stop the fight.

Damn, lost my bet but that's okay as the fight was very exciting and personally I have Porter leading the scores going into the 10th round.

I did bet on Crawford winning by KO at the last minute:

I just thought that if someone is going to knockout Porter, it could be Crawford. Bud's power is underrated, but I see the fight like the Jeff Horn in which he always tag Horn coming in.

And this is what happen in this fight, yes, Porter has some moments, but Crawford is just waiting for the right time to counter and score a knock down.

He made Porter tired and really look for the right counter. The strategy works and he KO Porter which made the fans impressed with his performance. Congratulations on your win mate, that was a sweet 2.82 odds for that fight is the easiest. Who's next in line? I think Bob will not worry anymore of giving Crawford a big fight as he has proven he can beat a tough boxer in an impressive way.

Therefore my pick is Indiana Pacers -7.5, GL!

Good come back after a loss, hopefully, I can start my little win streak again.

Will be updating this post on my pick later.  Thanks!

Edit : update

Game : Warriors vs Raptors.

Nothing too exciting going on in the NBA today.  The Jazz should slap the Kings around, that's about all I see on the schedule.  Probably not worth betting on that outcome either since they're such heavy favorites.
They are -8 on the road, and this is their first road game after winning 3 out of 5 games at home.
I don't know but I think I have e feeling that the Kings will win here because Jazz are just too inconsistent lately.

The big news in the NBA at the moment appears to be LeBron James and his ever worsening views on American justice.  Not to mention Enes Kantor has been slamming him all week and just spoiled his return to the Lakers...  Been a rough week for the King.
I'm more concerned about his team that are still struggling to figure out their chemistry until now, they are not competing well against playoff teams, so you can tell the problem is really serious, a super team that is doomed to fail in the making, most likely.
2670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 20, 2021, 08:46:34 PM
Lose my bet on the Pistons, that was close but it's still an "L".
Anyway, let's bounce back tonight.

Game:  New Orleans at Indiana

Pelicans won this last game against the Clippers, that's good for them as they need to wake up. However, they will now play on the road and I think I don't trust them to win against the Pacers since their record is only 1-8 on the road which is very poor.

Therefore my pick is Indiana Pacers -7.5, GL!
2671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 20, 2021, 12:28:15 PM
there are so many who try to stop bitcoin such as one example of the Chinese state which strongly opposes the circulation of bitcoin in that country where they forbid its people to adopt bitcoin, even though bitcoin is opposed by various countries but they are unable to stop the circulation of bitcoin or prohibit bitcoin from circulating in the global stock market, they can only ban the circulation but can't stop the bitcoins
Can you give us more examples then besides China though? You said there's a lot of groups or entities that are trying to stop bitcoin pretty sure that it's not only China though. Also, I don't get how there is a global stock market involved, they are a different kind of investment market so they really can't stop bitcoin if it doesn't exist right?

Let me answer that, I don't know if this list is still updated but there are the top 5 countries in which cryptocurrencies are banned.

1- CHINA
2-BOLIVIA
3- INDONESIA
4- TURKEY
5- EGYPT

I believe that people in this country can use Bitcoin as well as people in other countries. Is not it?
Of course, but OP is asking for a way to convert bitcoin to fiat without KYC requirement.

I don't understand why OP's friends don't like to comply with the KYC requirement, it's very basic that once you convert you crypto asset to fiat, you need to do it in an exchange regulated by the government which means you are required to comply with the KYC.

If he is really interested he will find a way, I think passport is not the only document allowed to verify KYC as in our local exchanges, driver's license and national ID is allowed.

It's now Curry - 1st, Durant - 2nd, Giannis - 3rd, Jokic - 4th, Doncic - 5th.
A big change from what was expected before the season starts where Luka Doncic was on the top. But I am still waiting for the Luka Magic. He is still there and may need to just step up his game a little bit when he comes back from his ankle injury. Average of triple-double with his points at 20-30 per game. Although, if he really wants to win the Season MVP race, he will need more than that. Because Curry is trying to lengthen the gap between them with his monster games.

Unless Steph gets injured, I don't see him stepping down from that 1st place.

I think that whilst Doncic is still doing really well with the Mavs, their record is just incomparable to the Warriors.

Plus, Doncic is actually averaging less points in this season than his overall career, which is definitely strange.

Curry is +250 now, I guess it's still a good odds to take as Curry is doing effortless basketball this season and the only way he would lose in the race is if he will get injured which as a fan we don't hope will happen.

https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/news/nba/updated-mvp-odds-after-nets-vs-warriors-curry-shortens-250/

I can't remember anymore the opening odds for MVP but I'm sure Curry is not even in the top 3.

Here's my pick.

Game : Warriors vs Pistons.

Last night it was a great performance by the Warriors and they beat the Cavaliers. Tonight, 4 players of the Warriors are going rest against the Pistons, so I'll be backing the home team here.

2675  Economy / Economics / Re: US could run out of cash as soon as Dec. 15, Janet Yellen warns on: November 19, 2021, 12:55:26 PM
The only outcome I see is the increase in inflation.

Increasing their debt ceiling is the result of ineffective management of loans, and yet we still perceive the USA as a powerful nation when they are now struggling with paying their debts. I feel that one country will rule above the USA as in the long run they will not be able to keep their problem and people will lose faith in USD, but anyway, it's good for crypto for sure.
2676  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can Regulate crypto currencies in present Time ? on: November 19, 2021, 12:41:57 PM
Every country may have a different stance on crypto, but those countries that believed in the positive effect of crypto on the economy will regulate it.

Regulating crypto is not hard because other countries are already regulating it, they can just follow the standard but most especially crypto being regulated will become centralized due to KYC which is the main policy.

@wheelz1200, it's a trap.  Grin

I was thinking the Bull would win that game easily as they were dominating early on, but you cannot really get too excited for your bet until the game is over. This loss also resulted in my win streak being over, until next time, keep grinding.
2678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is New Bounties are not paying Good Rewards? Real Or Trusted on: November 17, 2021, 09:32:09 PM
Nowadays we are joining new bounties but getting low or non-rewards, is any new project that is paying good rewards that will be real or fake?
That's normal because the majority of the projects are bound to fail.

At least you don't invest money when joining a bounty, all you need is time and a little effort, so as much as possible carefully study the project you are promoting, don't be easy attracted by a high reward, look first at the reputation of the team as that would tell the quality of the projects, with a reputable team handling the project, most likely it will succeed and you will enjoy your reward.

Lastly, don't get easily disappointed, as one of my favorite actors say, fail 9 times, rise 10.
2679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 17, 2021, 09:10:52 PM
I'm back in business after a day of rest.

Game : Bulls vs TrailBlazers.

Lillard is questionable tonight that's why the line is only -1.5, but regardless if he will play or not, I will still take the bull as I believe DeRozan and Lavine is still unstoppable with a team that struggles in defense sometimes.

Therefore, I'm taking the road team here at +1.5. Good luck!

-Development of Risk taking ability; to win big in life, you must be willing to try, and gamblers have so developed their risk taking ability.
This is the most important thing for me as a gambler, I learn to take risks and learn how to minimize the risks by calculating them. Knowing the winning probability is the first thing you have to know in order to calculate the risk, and if you master it, you should not face a problem in gambling because you know your limit and you know your chances.

Some gamblers blame gambling on their misfortune but in reality, they should blame themselves as they were the ones who did not understand the risk and their chances, they got aggressive thinking only on the bright side but not the losing side, your ability to handle your losses will define your future.
