2661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We lose on the long run through return percentage on: January 25, 2023, 10:58:47 PM

I just googled the return percentage of online casinos and saw different percentages that doesn't seem real. A slot machine can be written to pay out 98%, but its programmed to pay 90% and it's publicized that way to attract more people to play using that slot. Though one slot could be paying out that amount in the casino, yet my point is that no casino offers 100 percent payout that means if a slot pays out 94 percent for every 100 dollar bill spent on that machine the player losses 6$ to the casino. That is if you play longer times you'll lose, and we can almost never stay atop of the slot machines after long period of plays, unless you win a jackpot. Even if you win a huge amount, you can lose. They are numerous stories of people who won the jackpot and ended up spending the whole money back on the casino within a short period, 1 or 2 years, they lost the jackpot.

Isn't it?

Inspired by Jean Scott - Frugal Gambler

It's already an established fact that the longer you play in one session the higher the chances you lose, whether you play online or offline, the casino edge always plays out and when it comes to slots whether you play online or offline is very hard to do a repeat of the jackpot, you should be very lucky to be able to win another jackpot in just a short period of time, if there's something like chasing your losses, there is such a thing as striking while the iron is hot in gambling, two things that gamblers need to avoid.
2662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 25, 2023, 09:37:16 PM

Well, we cannot blame those fans who are expecting much from Donaire; he's one of the great boxers out there which means expectations are high on his end. Which makes it not surprising to know that his recent fights were veing compared to his previous or career fights which showed how dominant he was on his weight class. But this one I think Nonito has the advantage with speed not unless Moloney would surpass his agility trainings. Would be a good fight on my end. Been a fan of Nonito for years and I think it would be great for his comeback to win this match big time. Hopefully he'd be on top condition during the fight.

Donaire is looking for one last big fight and he wants to end his career with another title, every boxer whose career is in the twilight will like to have that graceful exit, I just hope he'll get it this time and finally retire, a title on his belt will vanish that nightmare loss
to Inoue, because the boxing history book and people always remember your last fight.
I hope Donaire will finally consider retirement if he wins the fight and the title, that's the best time to retire.
2663  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE UNISWAP and OP Airdrop on: January 25, 2023, 09:02:08 PM
If you're active in investing, airdrops, and bounty campaigns the first thing that you need to do is how to differentiate a fake site and airdrop from a real one, and how to secure your coin, I have seen some people losing instead of gaining because of ignorant, you never link your wallet to platforms without checking if the platforms are legit, and you never linked it to wallets where you have funds on it, ignorance and carelessness are the two factors why so many got scammed.
2664  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Betincrypto.org 🚀 Crypto Bookies & Casino Reviews 🔥 on: January 25, 2023, 03:23:55 PM
Thank you for placing Stake in the number one spot on your casino review site, they deserve to be in the top spot they are one of the industry giants and have done a lot of innovation in the gambling industry, they have taken part in all big events in the sporting world, I think the cons are ignorable as long as their strong points are acceptable by gamblers.
There are a lot of good casinos here in this forum please do check them all new and old ones so gamblers will have an insight on what casinos are worth adding to their list.
2665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 25, 2023, 02:51:53 PM
It's going to be the norm of being asked for KYC I believed, so you should be ready when one casino will ask you to do that. I guess it's the question of practice though, as the OP mentioned, it's only when the bettors won big that suddenly the casino will ask you to submit info. And when you comply, still, there are suspicious and then you might not get your winnings, hence there is a scam accusations against the casino itself. So it's better to ask for KYC in the beginning for me, and not get gamblers info false idea that they won't be getting KYC'ed.

Unfortunately, so many casinos are not doing this, they allow people to join and do nothing while betting, there are people who already wagered 5 digits without being asked to do KYC, then they asked when the players are about to cashout huge amounts of money that's where the issue for the player start, besides the long wait they are in agony if the casino will release their earnings.

The scam section is full of these players wagered 5 to 6 digits with no KYC then the casino asks for KYC when the player wins a big amount only to be accused of cheating or having multi-account.
2666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 25, 2023, 01:19:16 PM

Ticket sales on this fight is guaranteed as they are champions and both are popular. We don't see big fight like this all the time, that's why fans are surely willing to spend money just to watch this fight whether in the venue or through PPV. They can continue throwing words against each other now as it will continue increase the value of this fight and that would help to sold out the tickets and PPV subscription.

This fight is three years in the making but for one reason to another it never happen, but now that the two fighters show eagerness
that they want to clash this year, and both promoters agreed to make this fight happen, it could not happen if Gervonta did not get out of Mayweather's promotion, because Mayweather clearly stated that they want all his fighters to fight in the house or under the same promotion, so they can protect his cash cow and make money.
Everything on Mayweather promotions are all about making money not for legacy.
2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 24, 2023, 11:39:14 PM
I still believe that Donaire can still pull this one off, his loss against Inoue was because of miscalculations I'm sure he learned his lesson well, he is still fast, strong and wise in the ring, Jason Moloney is good but he is not Inoue to beat Donaire, this fight is not yet official, because so many contenders are on the list to make titles contention now that all the belts are vacant so many name is coming up, but if this fight happens Donaire has a good chance to take the belt.
2668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 24, 2023, 01:42:47 PM
I have a discussion with a close relative about online gambling and he said something that about how he hate gambling online because it's too addictive, he claimed real life casinos are better and less addictive because he will have to drive down to Las Vegas to gamble or drive down to a local casino and this still takes some physical effort and it discourages many people from frequenting gambling.

He said with online gambling it's available on through mobile phones and you can play at any time, this means no shortage of gambling around the clock and no shortage of losing money as well, you can easily pull out your phone and gamble with any free time, a bit compulsive and too accessible.

What do you think about this claim? Is he right or wrong?

He has a good point but to gamblers, it's not about getting hooked or not, its what will make them enjoy the games, you cannot force yourself to play at Physical casinos because it is less harmful than online gambling, it where you enjoy the most, the fact is online gambling is beating offline casinos because of the fairness, accessibility, and easiness of using the platform and besides even if you're playing in offline casinos if you do not have control of yourself you will still become addictive to gambling.
2669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 24, 2023, 04:49:11 AM
It would require a large set of cahoona's and a hell of a lot of confidence to open publicly deem yourself as a founder of a casino or gambling platform. Especially with the known fact that there are angry losers out there.

Even if we like owners to doxxed themselves for the sake of reputation, that will put the casino at risk because gamblers even if they lose fairly will still complaints, we have reports of gamblers losing fairly but still filing a scam accusations and posting hate remarks it will not only harm the owners but their family and their associate as well.
Casinos with doxxed owners will eventually close the casino if they attack their families and those close to them, casinos are one of the platforms where the owners need not be doxxed to gain a reputation, its enough that they do their best to maintain their reputation by treating their players fairly.
2670  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: January 23, 2023, 11:36:34 PM
This is my contribution to this thread there are actually lots of good ones but this one is personal and still trying to apply to my gambling session.

“Hoping to recoup is what ruins the gambler.”

Quote

“Hoping to recoup is what ruins the gambler.”– Baltasar Gracián y Morales, a 17th century philosopher.

I'm surprised that this philosophy already exists in the 17th century I thought, just recently or in our generation where gambling is very rampant.
2671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheat the Lottery Winner on: January 23, 2023, 10:37:43 PM
You will really know the character of a person when entrusted with a big amount of money, that's a big amount and he deliberately deceives the real winner of his winning, the winner should be partly to blame here, it a lottery win there is a way to become anonymous but not entrusting your winning to one's person even to your family, the winner should charge his cousin for fraud.
This could happen to anyone, when it comes to the lottery win, claim it yourself its a once in a lifetime jackpot not to claim it yourself.
2672  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Amazing Gambling-DeFi System on: January 23, 2023, 09:06:03 PM
Its very very easy to play, you only new to connect your Metamask Wallet with BSC network (for the moment I only see this network) with some BNB to play. There are tickets of 0.01, 0.1,.. BNBs...

Its realy amazing and The REAL DEAL its the staking with END token. Now the return per 1 END in 7 days is 0.4086 BNB.
Every time you play with BNB you get the same quantity of END.

And, I dont know the creator.

More clear now?

since it is a defi ecosystem and not accepting btc, this should not be here in this board. maybe move to service announcements (altcoins) section. in any case, a player should dig more about this END token. it may be giving good returns for now to attract new users, but later on, it won't give anymore just like many abandoned platforms.
what i am wondering is why need to be referred to win in the stake? it seems dubious for me though.
The video introduction is a very clear and straightforward, a good introduction to a new kind of game, the end token of this game is not yet in any exchange they should put a link to a decentralized exchange where it can be purchased, I agree that this kind of announcement that is not Bitcoin related should be in the altcoin service, they have a good potential in the DeFi gambling industry if they launch a marketing campaign for this token.
2673  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Memes! on: January 23, 2023, 03:54:35 PM
Just saw this on google and it's originated from a Twitter post which I'll be linking for the source on the image.

Yeah, and the 10% are those that keeps on going because they can feel that they're about to hit the jackpot. We all do have that thinking that when we quit, we should have won already.

I just think that this is the best gambling meme, we all like that we want to quit but we still believe that we are a session away from hitting the jackpot, but the truth is we really don't want to give up and we enjoy gambling, we just want to have an alibi to continue and this is probably the best alibi you can come out, I still have this mindset honestly but at least I'm not chasing my losses.
2674  Economy / Gambling / Re: How best to report vulnerabilities? on: January 23, 2023, 03:10:14 PM
So I discovered a bug affecting a mode of play at OwlGames casinos that results in certain games rewarding more money than they should.  I tried to report it to OwlGames but was told that they have no bug bounty program and to "enjoy the bug" (not kidding).  (of course their docs say that any "exploit" can result in not being paid out, but it's not an exploit if it's simply how things run under the given conditions - not that that would stop them from screwing someone over I'm sure)

Their poor attitude certainly doesn't do much to make me want to help them out anymore although that was my intent.

But since it is only certain games, from 1 provider, should I try to contact that provider instead?  It's possible I imagine that it's not just OwlGames that might possibly lose money to the issue, though I really don't know.

I guess since these are casinos, losing a couple hundred to a few players every few days that would otherwise not have won anything maybe is just a drop in the bucket.  But I found it so strange that they immediately just alerted me that they have no bounty program.  Aren't casinos supposed to be pretty protective of their money even if they have a ton of it?  Huh

Anyone else have any experiences of trying to report issues like this?  I want to be rewarded for my time verifying the issue without taking advantage of it and alerting someone about it, too, so I'm also just worried about giving the info out and having them come up with some excuse like "oh it just needed a restart it's fine now, that's not a bug."

If that's their response towards you, then they aren't open for feedback and are slacking off their jobs to maintain the casino abuse-free which is really a cause of concern since these abusive activities are prohibited in the first place. Why would they even say a statement of enjoying the bug, if really there is any instead of acknowledging their shortcomings and giving a reward? Perhaps they are just too complacent and too confident that it won't happen, or they just don't want to acknowledge your report because they have to give a reward, which they don't want to.

Check whether the casino still have this bug and if they do, they probably are just confident and slacking off maintaining the casino away from glitches. If it suddenly don't have it after you reported, then most probably they have taken an action about your concern but decided not to credit you for noticing which I believe is such a jerk move if ever it is the latter reason.

Either way that's a bad attitude they should at least acknowledge the report, even if they are not giving rewards at least they should be considerate enough to acknowledge, with that kind of answer they don't care because coming from their own mouth if this is true they will just not honor coming from bugs, the gambler is the one that will suffer because he thought his winning comes in playing fair, it turned out there is a bug, I want to see Owlgame answer into this allegation this is serious and gamblers will opted not to play in their platform.
2675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Online Gambling Fraud on: January 23, 2023, 01:22:57 PM

  • 1. Bonus Abuse
Bonus abuse is the practice of joining up for a service repeatedly using promotional offers that are typically only available to new members. There are various terms are used to describe it, such as bonus abuse, casino whoring, bonus hunting, and promo abuse. This practice, known as multi-accounting in the fraud world, frequently targets no-deposit bonuses like free spins or free money. It mostly affects poker, casino, and sports betting websites, but any business that leverages signup bonuses as a marketing strategy may be at risk.

The problem is that fraudsters attempt to create as many new accounts as possible, relying on stolen IDs, resulting in synthetic identity fraud and prepaid credit card details to bypass the Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. More sophisticated criminals can also have the resources to use emulators, virtual machines, and even residential-like IPs, such as Socks5 proxies or mobile networks to leverage fresh IP addresses.

That's all for now. Thank you for reading.
What other common or uncommon type of online gambling fraud have you noticed?

Bonus abuse is probably the most used method by many gamblers to commit fraud in casinos because its easy to get away with, especially in casinos with faucets and giveaways, unless the casino is good at tracing this kind of abuse abusers can always get away with it, that is why we have seen so many gamblers after winning huge amount of money they cannot withdraw their earnings because they are caught multi-accounting when it's stated in their terms that they will not allow that.
Abuse and fraud is very rampant in the industry its one of the main problem why casinos are going down.

Gambling in Japan is not black and white. In fact, gambling is considered a criminal offence and is generally banned across the country.

Those that are found gambling can face large fines and even serve jail time.

However, there are exceptions to this rule. Betting on horse racing and the lottery are two forms of gambling that are accepted in Japan.

To me, this seems hypocritical. You claim that gambling is illegal, but you may bet on horse racing, Pachinko, bicycle racing, boat racing, and Mahjong, which baffles me. I do not seem to understand. Why is that so? You claim it is unlawful, yet wagering on games that are overseen by the government is not unlawful. Is this not hypocritical? What does the government fear?

https://gamblingnewsmagazine.com/gambling-in-japan/
I agree if gambling is banned in their country it should ban all forms and kinds of gambling, but it seems they let the other gambling events because its part of their tradition and culture, what they are banning are casinos, they do not want casinos in their country because they believe it will ruin their morals, because Japanese are known for their high standard of morals like honesty, I read in Japan that if you forget your umbrella in one corner in a park you can still get it even if it passes a few times.
Japan is a very interesting country and some of its beliefs are quite hard to grasp.
2677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 22, 2023, 03:50:47 PM
If you treat casinos like any other businesses, there's no rule that the ownership, staff, etc., must be public IMO. For example, you normally don't get to know who is the owner of your regular supermarket, coffee shop, bar, etc. Meanwhile, these places can KYC you if you buy a can of beer, cigarette, and stuff.
You have a point, but we are talking about online and it happens to be a casino where people are putting money, and some gamblers are complaining about getting scammed, by getting the online operators doxxed, they know who to deal with and who they will be posted as scammers and this will harm the reputation of the owners, so far no casino operators undergo KYC to prove that they are the owners and responsible for its operations and actions, and the gambling industry and community are ok with it.

2678  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 22, 2023, 12:42:55 PM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?

I enjoy playing games at my favorite casino using a desktop, the screen is wide, and I can sit comfortably in my chair, phones are also good as you can play anytime, anywhere but I have a specific time to play casino and I can restrict myself from playing too much and besides playing on the phone will steal your attention on the most important thing that you do, because you have your phone all the time and you are tempted to play.
