I received my CLAM deposits finally after about a month.

The trick was contacting their Facebook page and the person there was really quick/easy.

2683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 05, 2018, 11:01:49 PM
At least this is flushing out the stupid altcoins. Bye bye alts, come back to Bitcoin.

Why would anyone come back to Bitcoin...?  So we can wake up tomorrow to $50 fees because one group of miners can manipulate the fee market that much.  I'm sure the trash alt markets (which are most) will be flushed, but the "real" alt markets are still strong and will continue to grow stronger during this shit show.

Bitcoin needs to scale to at least make it more costly and more risky for those who want to spam pool for profit.

I'm getting all types of calls "Why is Bitcoin going down?"... I just remind them that $50 fees are NOT the future and this is the markets slow reaction to the shit we dealt with in December 2017.

2690  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is bitpay down for everyone? Or only me? on: February 03, 2018, 06:41:13 PM
Bitpay hasn't worked for me in months. No "send to" address displays in the payment form.

The answer is in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2736694.0

(You need to hack the payment URL and then extract the payment address and amount.)

You have to open an account to them or have a compatible wallet with their system to scan the code. At the moment, the only one i can find is Copay.

Electrum understands the "payment protocol" faux-URL.

https://support.bitpay.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005559826

So stupid.

Here is how I use Bitpay now that they made their system unpayable.

1.  Open invoice and see it's Bitpay.
2.  Close Bitpay invoice window.
3.  Choose a different service that doesn't use Bitpay or just use a credit card.

Second that but don't know if LTC transfer fees are smaller then to BCH?

BCH is cheaper.

CLAM is even cheaper.

2694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With which coin would you like to wager in a casino? on: February 02, 2018, 11:28:36 AM
Clamcoin is a great option because it lets a lot of the 2014 crowd have a free go on your site.

All Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin addresses that were in use on May 12, 2014 got free CLAMS.  (my signature)

I thought also about Clam but not much interest here in this poll. is it difficult to implement?

thx for posting

Honestly, Just-Dice has a bit of a stranglehold on the CLAM industry... keep in mind that JD totally rocked SatoshiDice out of the #1 Bitcoin casino back in the day as well.

It is shocking however how many of the most random folks use CLAM.

Implementing shouldn't be difficult if you choose to do so.  Syncing the wallet can be a bit of a bitch, but if you use Dooglus's bootstrap... it shouldn't be that bad.

Lots of luck <3
2695  Economy / Economics / Re: No longer able to pay Bitpay invoices with Gemini :-/ on: February 02, 2018, 02:19:00 AM
Bitpay no longer provides a fucking Bitcoin address on invoices...  I couldn't figure out a way to pay with Gemini.com anymore Undecided (Gemini covers BTC fees.)

Am I missing something?

CLAMS (www.clamcoin.org) is the only "legit" coin that is similar to an LTC fork.

It was actually a snapshot of the BTC, LTC and DOGE blockchains... then the CLAMS where given out to each address in 4.6 CLAM clusters.
