Can anyone explain me how forging with NEM works and if this is profitable for those who will buy at an exchange soon?
Because I see that a lot of newbies are complaining about not being able to forge because of the low amount NXT they have.
The forging mechanism is not yet fully developed, but I think its safe to say that it will be fairer to the newcomers than the NXT mechanism. In other words it will not be wholly based on the amount of NEM you own (POS) like in NXT. You can look at the dev plan to read up on it (plz look for a link the registration threads) or find my post a few pages back where I tried to explain it allthough I'm not sure my explanation is 100% correct. |

I just noticed I got marked with "Duplicated Hash." Could any one of you explain to me what's going on? I'm located on Thread 1, Position No. 1094.
Does it mean someone steal my Hash? Where can I find the Hash Check spreadsheet for Thread 1??
Please get back to me and let me know asap. I did sent the money, so I can certainly prove I'm the sender.

Hi, Yes this means that someone (or you  ) has stolen that hash. You can provide proof of your ownership via a new transaction from the same address with a very small amount or by providing a screenshot of your client showing the transaction. Hi pat, I found the thread 1 hash check. It shows that SchlockHolmes and skylartomstrom have same HASH. And it also says I'm the possible owner. Well, I just sent 0.0002 BTC to prove that Im the legit owner from my bitcoin address: 1Jg7stgF3cor9e1CTq8ox5PKMAw3MNcUHN, which as you can see, is linked to transaction id: 55c9245283dea2ff97e4addc01bff0b78b59f629a8839fcc412d8632d6bfc63c. You'll have to proof that this is really your transaction no matter how crystal clear it looks. We've had cases where the legit user used his hash later. Your "proof" is no proof since you only provided the same hash as you did in your original posting. You need to make a new transaction to proof the sender address is yours or provide a screenshot of your client showing the transaction. Will we receive a PM from you utopianfuture when the audit has been completed? Or are you going to post on the discussion forum thread?
There will be community audit following the core team audit. For example I checked about 50 transactions once and found several cheaters. If every member of the community will do the same then the audit could take a while. As I understand it: The first part of the audit will (obiously) be just collecting intel. Searching for dupicate hashes and unreasonable amount of stake bought by the same person. This is the stage we're in right now. The next part will be a public thread where all the suspicous people can comment on what they are being suspected of to resolve possible false positives. After that we should have a relatvely clean stakeholderlist. |

Hello, on page 14 I sent some Bitcoins that my friend sold to me to buy a stake, but after hours it was unconfirmed and I ended up losing the Bitcoins. It was just weird and makes me not trust Bitcoins anymore after Googling the problem and seeing that other people had the same problem. Is there a way for me to pay that stake? And if yes, how much? It's possible that there was something wrong with your client or the blockchain that your client held. Before making a TX you always need to make sure that your blockchain is up to date. on stakeholder list I am put down as duplicate hash. My hash is first so I dont see how it can be me at fault.
my number on list is 2749-thread 2.
i sent 1 nxt coin to prove it was my account and transaction number is 2260315738946426351
I check other guy Knisch on blockchain---he sent 700 nxt after me on another transaction number. I think he put my number down as mistake?

I can understand, when you try to punch out the 1-post-new-members - probably they opened a new account just to get more stakes..
BUT why you would penalize the new ones, who are a part of the community and write some posts in the community??
These people are like us - THEY LOVE the NEM-PROJECT!!!!

I`ve sent 700 NXT 3 days ago, but in stakeholder list I was suspect to be a fraudster. I am come from china, maybe there are something wrong in my Transaction. I opened my wallet today, and I found my NXT coins are the same, so I resent 700 NXT to 14343293611098709683. please  I am not a fraudster,please check it, thank you! my Transaction id: 6418516068958028500 You are not marked as fraudster. I will add by : - The best distributed coin - Better than NXT Plz don't do that. We don't debase other coins I also think we should only put there what's absolutely for sure and thought through. Eventually there should be our logo, a link to the website and maybe a slogan. |
