2681  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone know when the Gemini exchange will be available? on: September 23, 2015, 12:54:27 AM
I'm also curious when will the Winklevoss brothers come and contribute to the bitcoin community. And in somewhere in reddit I read they will take bitcoin into Moon like that....Another bitcoin exchange must be good for bitcoin. After mtgox shadows, may be Gemini can give bitcoin some good times, I too believe....

2682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: September 22, 2015, 03:43:19 PM
I think it won't be possible, because gambling is based on your luck.

That's not true. If you develop your skill sets along with your particular game, then the winning chances after hard practice you can definitely crack the game to make your profits. I strongly say gambling will pay us in long term basis. But we need to design our own strategy and skill developments are more important.
2683  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash will be abolished & negative interest rates via bank accounts enforced on: September 22, 2015, 02:43:58 PM
Negative interest rate must be a good sign of people look for bitcoin for their alternate investment for bigger returns. In many countries already negative interest in practice. When gold and bank interest are not favorable for investors their obvious choice would be bitcoin only. So, bitcoin has a greater future from these news.
2684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: September 22, 2015, 12:14:35 PM
No I have not used bitcoin as a fiat currency for physical goods. I just used bitcoin for buying online services. Other than that I have not spent any bitcoins I earned. In my view bitcoin as investment for retirement. So spemding for real goods or online goods are not good idea by this time itself.
2685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Realistically does bitcoin have any competition ? on: September 22, 2015, 11:46:49 AM
I understand there are 600 other coins and that banks might be involved in trying to put in place there own mechanisms based on the blockchain but now that bitcoin has become as big as it has is there even a 10% chance that anything could replace bitcoin in the next few years.
If you talk about future if any government issues their own crypto, bitcoin will face some serious competition but that is not possible to happen in this decade so I dont see any competition for btc for next 10-15 years

Creating own cryptocurrency by any bank or Government is not a problem for bitcoin. The real competitor for bitcoin would be current fiats. Bitcoin needs to out perform them to be widely accepted and to be proffered one. When every service available for bitcoin, it means bitcoin defeated all it's competitors.
2686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the fee to send ? -_- on: September 22, 2015, 07:25:30 AM
Blocktrail has the feature to indicate us the current optimal fees as well as possible lowest fees. This is very much useful data we need to consider before starting bitcoin transactions. Because most of the light weight clients like Multibit or Electrum accepts our transactions with low fees but blocks are not picking our transactions.

2687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can we get the exact time of a payment first confirmation ? on: September 22, 2015, 05:28:03 AM
Plz Can we get the exact time of a payment first confirmation ?

example: i need to know when a payments was confirmed .

like this payment : https://blockchain.info/fr/tx/d4ea8f52195e82c68e9ca3e21986db67b904fe01d1156b69e60e95394b0b6c9c

can you know when it was confirmed (exactly).

Thank you .

The exact time of your first confirmation is the block generation time of which has included your transaction.
Because I do see may transactions remind unconfirmed for some time, it had got it's first confirmation once it got included into a block. So the first confirmation time must be exact equal to the included block generation time.
2688  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: September 22, 2015, 05:11:56 AM
those people who said bitcoin is dead are the same peoples who hate bitcoin and its success, they missed the bitcoin era and now spreading fud like this, but they know that its not correct bitcoin is not dead but it gonaa shine more and more in future

Spreading this kind of rumors is their idea of getting into bitcoin at their desired lower price levels. The people who missed the big bitcoin price movements may hate bitcoin and would say bitcoin is dead after seeing the price fall from $1200 to $230. Price up or down is usual thing for any commodity. It does not mean of dead of it.
2689  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: September 22, 2015, 05:04:12 AM
Already morden world had burnt the paper money. Almost 15 years back itself, people had moved into Plastic money, that's cards. When debit or credit cards replaced your paper money when you transact any thing, at that time itself paper money started to decline. We are in the beginning of digital money from plastic money.
2690  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: September 22, 2015, 05:00:35 AM
Low price of bitcoin also shows that bitcoin can be 'lost' investment because if price dropped once it can go down again even more.
It is only fine if low price is short occurrence. Long Term low price is not good at all.

You're right. But keep in mind that we had a tremendous bubble in late 2013. After such bursts a hard correction and bear market of 24 months is nothing unusual.

NO. If bitcoin was keeping on around 10$ in it's so far life of 6 years means, only some 10k people would have been aware of it and using of it. As per Satoshi idea, initial adoption of bitcoin as a investment. Because of a booming commodity can attract more people to use it. Later people use it as currency. So, bigger prices are more important for the growth of bitcoin. That's the reason we have halving every 4 years. Otherwise we would have same block rewards to get all 21M bitcoins.
2691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is back ? on: September 22, 2015, 04:25:39 AM

Yes. It's really interesting to see a bitcoin movement after 6 years of hoarding. Some bitcoin elder moves them. Probably that would be bitcoin God Satoshi. We are all given by him a chance to see his activity at least. I strongly believe this will not have any impact on bitcoin price as Satoshi has full rights to do anything with his own bitcoins.
2692  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: September 19, 2015, 04:53:07 PM
let me figure out right xapo its just a wallet no? or its a service besides wallet?

Well Xapo is not completely a wallet.
Since it does not let you to sign a message from your address (wallet) i don't consider it a wallet.
Also they don't provide you with the private key, But even though it has good features like their bitcoin debit card.

Your definition for a wallet may differ from others. I find Xapo feathers more than enough for my requirements, in fact exactly what I prefer to have. Some wallets designed for some specific purposes that may not match your requirements.
2693  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: September 19, 2015, 08:37:32 AM
Low prices are very good opportunity to get into market to make huge profits when bitcoin hit higher and higher prices. Because no one catch exact low price. So, when ever bitcoin hit low price we must buy some bitcoins to get a lower average buying price.
2694  Economy / Economics / Re: simple way to understand bitcoin on: September 19, 2015, 08:35:39 AM
Simple way to understand bitcoin must be using it in real time with very small volume. We need to intensive meet ups and training sessions all over cities world wide. So, we can spread the spirit of bitcoin. That will ensure the growth of bitcoin as well.
2695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just a friendly advice for the new guys on: September 18, 2015, 03:59:42 PM
Many people have shared many good ideas here. Still, bitcoin oriented services will get us more bitcoins as quick as any other methods could bring more bitcoins to us.
2696  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Keep your system updated and stay secure. Tips to avoid viruses trojans on: September 18, 2015, 03:56:48 PM
If you use Windows for anything money related don't use a cracked version!

Buying windows is being ripped upfront!

ironically i'm using a craked version of windows 7 and my coins are still all here, so i'm must assume that this version is safe

torrent in general are safe, you should check the owner and the comments

Perhaps you are using an online wallet?

An online wallet with 2 passwords + mobile authentication & emergency withdrawal address is more safe than a lightweight wallet stored locally on an infected PC.

Plus make sure your antivirus/firewall is a higher quality one. But best would be to just use Linux, because you don't have to worry about anything similar there.

With a proper security based linux distro , that is already packed with good firewall, is probably the best defense out there.

It's always guarding up ourselves by using latest versions of browsers or it's plugins as well as bitcoin wallets. We need to look up for latest things for the purpose of defending scams.

Bitcoin has all the property one can have full faith within it. I strongly believe on bitcoin. On a decentralized digital money system who will issue the coins. So, it's automatically generated. It's simple point to show the fairness of bitcoin. We all can believe bitcoin.
2700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 18, 2015, 03:28:38 PM
