A smooth win for ENCE yesterday, i'll go for NiP -1.5 @ 1.69 as my next pick, they'll be facing Complexity in the lower bracket as these two teams lost their first game yesterday.

Complexity only got 4 rounds against MIBR which is a bit surprising since they're somewhat in the same level and NiP struggled against BIG as they're missing hampus but should get the job done given Complexity's abysmal performance so far.

ENCE are looking like the favorites to take it all this tournament but Cloud9 are looking very dominant in their first matches since rejoining the circuit.

ENCE are up against Furia which is never an easy team to play and Cloud9 is playing against BIG who haven't been a major threat in their league play this entire year.

One thing that nobody is commenting on is that in Spain there were team orders from REdBull for Checho Perez to let Max Verstappen pass, but if Checho Perez had not let max pass and had won the race, today he would be the leader of the world of pilots

Terrible on the part of Redbull to start so early with the team orders and not let them compete.
Whenever team orders happen, they just nauseate me. It is still remembered how Rubens Barrichello yielded his position to Schumacher approximately 20 years ago. Besides, I think having this kind of incidents at the beginning of the season can harm the team in the long term. For example, we need to think about whether Checo would have the same willingness to defend another driver in case Max needs it.
I have always seen Max as the main driver who should be looked to for a place on the podium, no matter at what cost to Red Bull.
That is just how his attitude is: At any means necessary.
Checo is just his defense at the back to block the other drivers from over taking him at the final few laps.
That's how I see the team's of other F1 operate. It's just how the pecking order of formula 1 is.
Perez is Max's wingman and should make way for the one who higher up on the leaderboard with the points.

The reality is that the Boston Celtics are more of a team in the physical section than the Golde State and part of that comeback could also be due to that.

Likewise, Golden State never imagined a comeback of that style and they almost never suffer it because as soon as a team starts to come back they start hitting triples that automatically destroy the little remaining morale
They are the better team defensively as the Warriors are more better on the fast break and scoring from outside and mid-range.
Everybody imagined them to win the first game in the series to set the tone at home but it just wasn't meant to be.
Al Horford and Derrick White stepped up in the 4th and dominated them offensively and Golden State were in a state of shock.

Gotta lean in on golden state next game in my eyes.  At home I dont think golden state wants to lose out twice.  Think they will come out muchore focused for all 4 quarters.  Curry proved the defense situation won't affect him, he just needs to play the same way he did in the first q/half.  Taking the money line next game.
Yes that is the plan.
I think everyone is thinking Warriors will bounce back for the next matchup. Curry is not the problem as he started strong.
It was the other teammates of his that lacked any defensive play to stop Celtics from just steamrolling over them and not being able to do anything against them once they got locked in the zone.
2686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 03, 2022, 09:06:07 PM
I was expecting Celtics to get a Warriors but not this way. They beat GSW in their style of play. Harford and White had an epic match. The fourth quarter was like a storm. Incredible. However, how ambitious and eager Curry and his friends started the game. It looks like it will be a long series. This is pleasing. It was one of the most exciting NBA finals I've ever watched.
Horford was the main reason why the Celtics won game 1 since he went 6/7 for his shots and scored all the three's in the 4th quarter for Boston to take the game.
They outscored the warriors by alot, I can't recall but some one put a bet on Celtics winning the game by 11+ points with odds of 98.00x and at the end they did.
I had a bet on Celtics with over 223.5 at 8.50x and that one hit too.
It seemed that anyone that bet on the Celtics to win game 1 made quite abit of substantial amount of profit from the night.
Can't wait until game 2 but it all the way until Sunday.

Changing seed doesn't change anything, it is still random to hit max multiplier. Switching coins has no effect on house games as well.
Agreed. I have no idea why so many gamblers feel that changing seed or switching coins actually has some sort of effect on the results which are completely random due to the provably fair systems in place.

Personally, I don't focus on any of that stuff and gamble randomly with random amounts in different games in any gambling site(FIAT or Crypto).
They might superficially think it as a clean slate to work with.
Sort of like clearing the cache of your bets. But it doesn't really change your chances at all.

I do believe in those "Lucky coins" to use when gambling though.
The amount of the bet does matter when it comes to using other altcoins as opposed to bitcoin. That is obvious.

I actually did see something about Verstappen being vocal about something that happened at Monaco but didn't know what it was about until you mentioned it.
Of course he would be insanely mad if Perez didn't listen to team orders. Red bull better be careful or they could be creating a barrier between their two drivers which can cost them the remaining races as there are alot left in the season minus the one due to FIA having it cancelled.

@leea-1334
To your questions from earlier:
There isn't a set amount of fights in a year so you don't necessarily have a 'season' in the UFC. That would not work out anyways. They have fights every weekend (expect for national holidays for America) so this format has worked for them.
Because as you fights can be cancelled at a moments notice. So it is not very stable when it comes to filling the fight card. But they have seemed to have enough fighters on-call if they do have alot of their current cards cancelling for whatever unforseen reason.
The site you have mentioned is a good one to get information from.
I tend to keep up to date on the current fights coming up from youtubers who choose their fight predictions days before the fights incase there are those cancellations as mentioned above.

We have the UFC Vegas 56 up this weekend and here is the challenge for you to put in your picks:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5401003.0

Good luck!

Didn't know I was old hat haha but yeah, been in a lucky streak with SB promos and stuff, don't think there aren't others luckier though, they're just not on the forum. SB pretty much spends a lot of time taking their customers out for sports events here and there -- it's just the footie here that's probably more "global" for the forum to enjoy.

Saw a Turkish league special today, so it's definitely still happening, just perhaps back to the old format of specials going live every few hours closer to event.
It was meant as a complement because when it comes to anything you don't want to be a green hat (at some jobs they are the inexperienced while the white hats are always the mature and much more experienced workers in the gang) especially when it comes to betting or anything gambling related.

Yes, this is the place so to talk about anything to do with the specials as you had a shout out to me on the final day of the Champions league final match during the clubtalk!

I just saw there's a World Cup game plus even Africa Cup of Nations games in addition to Nations League so keep your eyes open for new specials today I guess.

I'm such an addict I put a multibet mixing up all the games, first bet in a while for me since La Liga ended lol

Are any of you also reducing gambling because of BTC being low price? Or increasing because you can get more BTC with same amount of money?
Talking about cup of nations, looks like Pogba is voicing his opinion about being at Man Utd. Think he will be focusing on this tournament instead and the most expensive player on the red devils squad (from what I remember when I last looked late last year) just might be calling it quits there. Who knows when those big name clubs flash the money where they can not say no too.
Are any of you also reducing gambling because of BTC being low price? Or increasing because you can get more BTC with same amount of money?
For me, it's increasing since I tend to base my unit sizing on USD or EURO when placing bets and sometimes I have to look up the equivalent just to double-check.  Cheesy

Good thing Sportsbet made things easier as they have added the three buttons that track our average bet size so it only takes one click instead of typing it over and over again.
Didn't realize this was offered when placing a bet. I have had times when I would miss a bet because it wasn't in time due to having to type out the bet amount over and over again. This can shave off the milliseconds so to have it finally take the bet.
Thanks ralle14 will give it a try next time!

He had met up with one of the clubtalk radio dj's before and had dinner with his family while they were there from what I remember.
Sojouner is an old hat when it comes to Sportsbet.io meet-ups and celebrations.

Sojourner the old hat. I don't believe there's any other casino or sportsbook with as many meetups in this forum, and then Steve mentioned they were also at the UCL final with other customers.

When you think about the other big names here like Stake, they don't do that to my knowledge, so I guess they all have a lot to learn from the way Sportsbet does community reach Smiley
You never know they might start because they did mention on their last livestream over the weekend that they will be travelling to their head office in serbia to do the next livestream on Saturday so they could be in discussion to start doing the same too.
Who knows but only them.

Completely missed the start of the CS:GO tournament in Dallas as I was away from home for the long weekend and just got back.
Must be the continuation of the IEM from a couple of months ago if I am correct.
Intel Extreme series always seem to have a break inbetween their last tournaments. I would imagine for the big teams to participate in other ones which are running at the same time as this one.

What do you know.
The first matches of the tournament is of Imperial Sportsbet vs Team Liquid:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/counter-strike/esl-cs-go/intel-extreme-masters/imperial-e-sports-vs-team-liquid-6295267e0f534f766898d718

They were about even when I noticed them but now the lines are dropping for Liquid.

Hey guys, I hope everyone is recovering from the long weekend of disappointment,,, strangely I had nothing at stake but I still felt a bit low to learn about the results in football and in F1 even Wink And then in tennis too  Shocked

Waiting for specials to come Wink

There are many opinions in the news about fans doing anarchy but I don't know which one is actually happening sometimes in the news it makes news that is not appropriate.

Of course, there must have been a lot of disappointment that occurred in the final, the audience was disappointed because police  they were too aggressive in carrying out their security with the tear gas that was given, which made others suffer, especially small children, I also regret this.

I don't think a final like this will happen again next season.

I saw on 9gag a lot of people posting about this French guys I think at least 2 of them. Who did their own videos of them sneaking into the stadium under the bars and then laughing and pointing at the police preventing the Liverpool fans from going in.

The same guys are also shown shooting guns (supposedly in Syria). And speaking French.

The problem is not so much it happened, bad things happen,,, the problem is the authorities and police are blaming Liverpool England fans for everything.
The news about what actually happened there is starting to surface today.
And it does not look good for UEFA or for the French police who decided to fire tear gas into an innocent crowd who were just waiting in the cue just like they were told too by gate officials.
The problem all started with the french youths who decided it would be so very cool to hop the fence and cause mayhem for the Liverpool fans waiting in the queue like they were told to do by stadium organizers so they can get into the stadium.

Here is a video from someone who was actually there and showed what it like during the match and before all the havoc insued outside:
Thogden at the Champions League Finals match
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhNx4HeNclg

This was the first report I saw of this on the news media from Skysports but it was broadcasted the same day the incidents happened so there are probably different spectator accounts now days afterwards:

Well that was certainly an unexpected result for the Monaco grand prix.
I think I had seen Perez having odds of 17x after the qualifications were done as Leclerc was the heavy favorite being at the low 1.32x odds right before the race started when I checked.
It all happened at lap 22 and then the red flags came in.
Both Haas drivers were knocked around and had their cars taken off the track due to technical issues and a crash into the barrier at the pool.
I agree with most here in there should be a change in the format of the track as it would be more exciting to watch if there were more straight aways but alas it is a track for it's nostalgia instead of the what the fans want.
