2681  Economy / Gambling discussion / [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: December 21, 2021, 01:48:48 AM

What: Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match
When: April 16, 2022
Venue: AT&T Stadium , Arlington, Texas.

RESULT: Spence Jr. wins via 10th round TKO

Supposedly, it was Yordenis Ugas Ugas against Eimantas Stanionis but the latter step aside made it possible for the former to now get his original request. That request is not possible to happen if he losses against Pacquiao last August. And now that WBA approved the fight, it was now set on 1st quarter next year.

As we know, Errol Spence Jr. didn't push through to a fight against Pacquiao because of an eye issue that needed surgery. Instead of postponement, Ugas stepped in as a replacement. Maybe if only Pacquiao won't be busy in the election next year, they can delay that fight as it was only a few months waiting more for Spence to be cleared of fighting.

Moving forward, Ugas' career is going nowhere until he wins against Manny. Fighting against Spence is a big opportunity for him. Let's wait for more updates. I will give a 70% chance that this fight will push through.

2683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 20, 2021, 11:47:36 PM
Of course everyone would like to see Tyson do KO on Logan. However, rumors of a contract being written create a very unpleasant atmosphere around this fight. In my opinion, after 3 rounds, we will know if Tyson is really fighting or if it's just a script.

Tyson will fight but not on his 100%. There's a big possibility that it will be like the fight of Mayweather where no winners are announced at the end. I can't believe why you guys still believe that the fight will be serious. Let's take note of what match it will be, an exhibition match. Do you already see an exhibition match nowadays that is not a staged one?

I doubt a KO will happen. Logan Paul won't allow that as if that happened, that will be the end of his exhibition matches and his future fight won't have generate more income.
2684  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 20, 2021, 11:42:51 PM
Manny Pacquiao is the only 8th division worth champion, I guess Canelo is only 4 or 5 now? I think he cannot surpass the success of Pacquiao but his journey is still remarkable as he is the only fighter (correct me if I'm wrong) to try to dominate in heavyweight classes. Anyway, let's watch the result of his fight and judge his future afterward.

What do you mean by surpassing? Generally, Canelo's competition is much tougher but that is obvious because that is where he is capable of. Pacquiao on the other hand goes the same. If everything is just counting the winning titles per weight class, Canelo can start at a much lighter division when he started up. There's should be no room for comparison here. Look at Canelo, now in Cruiserweight where he is just supposed or keep staying in Light Heavyweight or Welterweight division.
2685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: December 20, 2021, 11:38:21 PM
Change of venue would be considerable too if they would get even more revenue on that particular place compared on the older one but its true that this one adds up on expenses that they don't really like

Revenue is not a question. The place should take place in Japan and not elsewhere. Revenue won't be the reason for the change of venue. It will just be considered if Japan will take that sports restriction policy for long as boxers need to fight following their respective roadmap.

There should be no problem if the postponement will be around 1 month or close. More time for preparations and a bit of relaxation as no pressure for both boxers.

So will JB still wins the best import award this time?

It depends. Right now based on stats, KJ McDaniels is currently the best import. The reason is, he is the main scorer at NLEX compared to Justin Brownlee that receives lots of support and good backed-up teammates. Best Imports are based on stats regardless of where the team ended up in the competition.

Brownlee is still performing good numbers and no doubt why he is being considered as the best imports for many years so let’s see if he can get the championship for his team since this governors cup are quiet different, many surprises with other teams are also happening that makes it more exciting.

What do you mean by many years? He has only 1 award for being the Best Import of the Conference but has 4 championships with Ginebra. That was his contribution and impact to Ginebra.

Without Davis the Lakers are in trouble, that's the reality as we already saw what happened to this team last playoffs when they face the Suns. However, there's still a good news on the injury of Davis as he will not be out for a long period of time, as per report, he will only missed 4 weeks as the injury was just an MCL Sprain.

Actually no need for Anthony Davis to literally come back once he was cleared to play after 4 weeks. The Lakers can extend his recovery time and what the team should do is to try to keep winning for them to maintain their current standing or much better. It's still good instead to miss those key players while in the elimination round compare to when the playoffs come.

For 4 weeks period, it's around January 4th week for Anthony Davis to return. He can be put to limited minutes while All-Star is coming extending his much recovery period unless he will be chosen as one of the players that will play for the All-Star game.
2688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 20, 2021, 11:24:32 PM

The Golden State Warriors are known for winning with big margins against any team, whether strong or considered weak. In tonight's game against Sacramento Kings, two of their most performing players, Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole are out because of safety protocols. I'm thinking "at least"  Sacramento Kings should cover the +10.5 @ 2.21 even Steph Curry will explode on that game.

Houston Rockets is sometimes surprising too even they have the worst record currently in the standings. Maybe will try a risk betting at +7 for them against the Chicago Bulls who just came from winning against the Los Angeles Lakers.

And if I'm not mistaken, I saw Kemba Walker was back in the rotation?

Wasn't able to watch the full game, only in first quarter but I never doubt that the Celtics will win this game. Randle though was even check by Tatum in the first quarter.

Not sure what happen to Randle though, it seems that he was really off in the last couple of games. There was a lot of hype around him last year with his performance but it was not seen this season.

Yes, Kemba Walker is back in the rotation and he was a starting player on that game. Kemba makes it clear, "if he's not be included as a starting, he won't play". He really takes seriously that decision of giving him fewer minutes on the floor. He was also asked if he wants to be traded and to conclude, he just wants to go with the flow as he believes in himself he still has lots to give in.

About Randle, he is good but there are really times sometimes he is on off-night performance. In that game, he scored 20 points but that was on 6 out of 19 field goals attempt. He also has that mentality on Kobe that even in the worst shooting, he needs to continue on it. Sometimes that mentality is not good as if a player feels off-night, then allow his teammates to cover that hole.
2690  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 19, 2021, 11:59:24 PM
Manny has won 8 already as most boxing pundits put it, while Canelo is attempting his 5th in CW division but I think that's the most that he will got and could be in the company of some of the best boxers who have won 5 titles or more like Oscar or Floyd. Manny is on top though.

That's a big task if Canelo will push up to 8 holding title within the Cruiserweight. No need to do it as he can step up on another level. However, there are lots of big names on his chosen path. If possible, Canelo might achieve another milestone in his career for the next 2-3 years challenging boxers in that division.

Just a surprise to me that Canelo is not aware of this fight and the plan of the supposed moving up. It was reported that he was surprised by his long-time trainer Eddy Reynoso and told him to take a shot in another title match against Ilunga Makabu. Meaning, Canelo's stepping up is just a plan but his trainer makes it real right away.
2691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: December 19, 2021, 11:57:26 PM

Since I see Charlo being mentioned here, it was reported that Caleb Plant wants a piece of him and the analyst even seems to side with Caleb Plant being a winner. For me, Charlo is much closer to Canelo's skills so I can't see why they looked at Caleb as Favorites.

And to conclude that, GGG can match Canelo, Canelo outscored Caleb Plant, Charlo is a good match to GGG, then Caleb should be out of the discussion lol. Caleb should face Murata instead and that might be possible.
2692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Only install Metamask from their official website, do not click on Ads on: December 18, 2021, 10:35:08 AM
Here is the link to their official website https://metamask.io

Due to the increasing number of new crypto investors there are increasing numbers of scam Ads pointing you to a fake replica site where they can steal your assets. Read through this article as a warning on scam Ads: https://www.thesun.co.uk/money/16764487/metamask-users-loses-thousands-on-google-ad-scam/[/url

A big example was on Axie players. In our local community on social media, lots of "new players" in the crypto environment got phished because of those random links they found on the internet while browsing for the download link for Metamask, Marketplace, and Ronin wallet. Even after downloading those successfully from a legit source, they are instead got victims of those random ads.

Can't blame them but they should not be carried away from the excitement of playing that game. As a result, instead of enjoying, they are in devastating loss as the price of an Axie team is not a joke.
2693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 18, 2021, 10:22:29 AM

Speaking of NLEX, they are now 4-0 after defeating the Terrafirma DYIP by 30 big points just a while ago. The team standing on the site is not updated yet but the stats are now there just quick. As usual, NLEX import KJ McDaniels dominates again the scoreboard and his teammates also have a good contribution.

This NLEX is a big deal. The chemistry is already there even McDaniels is now to their system. Coach Yeng Guiao plays a good job there. The chances of seeing a new team in the playoffs competition are likely high and that's NLEX.

NLEX - 116
Terrafirma - 86

2694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: December 18, 2021, 10:10:44 AM
There are lots of exchanges available in this crypto platform. Binance kucoin coinbase houbi and so many good exchange Where people keep trading daily. But apart from that, sometimes we need to use unknown exchange for trading. Some may good and some may bad. And thats what I'm looking for! Your selected worst exchange, may best for others but it doesn’t matter. Share the name of exchange which gave you worst trading experience, scam your fund or sometime else. Share, so that others can alert from it.

My first encounter with an exchange hacking incident was in 2016. The exchange involved is Bitfinex. If I remember it right, after they came back from the business, they did some swaps on the hold balance of those who got affected including me. My bitcoin was shifted into their own coin. If only they didn't do that, the hold BTC on that exchange should be more valuable. That was far as I remember.

The next one is Cryptopia on which until today, the supposed recovery is still in process on which I'm not sure if it's really taking place.
2695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: exchangers with market price on: December 18, 2021, 09:54:51 AM
Do you know exchangers with supporting market price trading? it is important because some of exchanges just support fixed rate that increases commissions.

Sorry, but what do you mean by "supporting market price"? What's the fixed rate do you point out too? If my understanding is correct, do you mean what's the basis of that exchange having that rate? Or where do those trading platforms get those market prices? Generally, rates are different between exchanges but not that having a big difference.

Am I correct in what are you referring to?
2696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money while gaming on: December 18, 2021, 09:48:12 AM
No question that the gaming industry will follow this route. Crypto is the best thing around and every industry wants its share from it and earning while playing a game that you would ordinarily be playing for free. I guess this is a good idea and I noticed some games are in this direction now.

By saying "no question", do you mean gaming companies will follow the same? I don't see it that way honestly. Most gaming companies might not follow what Ubisoft does but rather they might just accept crypto payments on their game. Applying crypto directly to the game is innovative but not a game changer as there are now lots of blockchain games that dominate the world of crypto games.

If ever they will follow, I will support them but don't expect they will.
2697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 - December 18 on: December 17, 2021, 11:55:17 PM
We can't just expect someone would win in this exhibition match since I have a feeling that it's like a different rigged games that's why they call it as an exhibition match.

The fight is not an exhibition match. The result will change their respective records. But since it's Paul, people tagged that match as an exhibition match. I don't have any thoughts that the match will be rigged. Or maybe "Who knows".

If we think logically, I don't see any sense in making it rigged. If Paul loses on the match as it was rigged, I doubt more viewers will watch him in his next matches as the goal of seeing him being defeated is now achieved. If Woodley on the other hand losses, there's no Part 3 now. That's the reason why I can't see that match as rigged that will benefit both fighters.
2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: December 17, 2021, 11:53:26 PM
If the problem is true then it's necessary that he won't fight. Fans would not be happy if he loses against Jake Paul and just make an excuses after the right, he better get himself healed first since the opportunity is still always there, if Jake Paul wins his next fight, then maybe they can schedule a fight next year when Tommy Fury is already healthy.

Obviously, it's a truth for me. I don't see any advantages or benefits of not telling the truth. It's good to back out instead of pushing the fight for the sake of the money. Moving forward, it's a good decision for him. The possibility to fight is just there.

He is now sitting back and relaxed waiting for a later fight between Jake Paul and the one who replaced him, Tyron Woodley.
2699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 16, 2021, 11:46:06 PM

Brgy. Ginebra vs NorthPort Batang Pier later on Araneta Coliseum.

As for speculations, more fans are expecting to watch live on the venue because it's "Ginebra". They might also like to see live what Greg Slaughter looks like in a different jersey and will play against his former team. Maybe they want to see if there will be a drama involved.

As if it will be postponed because of the typhoon that hitting the Southern Part of the country, I don't think it will as Metro Manila is far from it and no typhoon signal are raised in the capital at the moment.
2700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of NFTs on: December 16, 2021, 11:40:16 PM
I don’t know about you, but it looks like we’re in the ICO stage (2017) stage of NFTs. Quick cash grabs, high floor prices, etc.

I can't compare the NFT trend to the 2017 ICO trend where even a rubbish project can make a good profit. Here in NFT, it seems a big deal at most and the daily sales on OpenSea are the best proof of it. NFT blockchain games also contribute to the popularity of it and unlike projects after ICO, some NFT-related games sustain their operation and yield profit to most people.

The NFT trend will last for a long compared to the other trend we experienced before, ICO, IPO, IDO, Defi, etc
