2681  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving Price Prediction $55,000 - $130,000 on: November 14, 2019, 10:21:45 PM
In 2012, there was roughly 10x rise in bitcoin's price. In 2016, there was roughly 30x rise. So what about to add them to each other and then halv too? I think 20x rise of current price may be fair cause from this halving. Halving caused huge positive effect on people in both cases and I highly believe this halving will do the same because everyone has almost this expectation that after halving price rises and this expectation + hope + need, really causes rise in price.
2682  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BWC Marketplace (BWC = Buy With Crypto) - Coming soon! on: November 14, 2019, 09:43:00 PM
I think you had to open this thread (or move now) in project development section.
Idea is good, would love to see something like etsy with cryptocurrencies cause it seems quite good. But how will you deal with escrow? One thing I can't understand, with which escrow service are you cooperating? The ones which are on bitcointalk? For start that will be normal I guess but if your website becomes known (hope it will) then you'll have to look at this task again and modify it.
Btw can you spoil us with website's design?
2683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India’s Blockchain Coffee Platform Onboards 30,000 Farmers on: November 14, 2019, 09:08:26 PM
To be fair I have no idea why China even decided to ban bitcoin mining, what a silly decision, do they wanted to test their power on bitcoin, how just simply their statement would affect it? Cause otherwise it's out of logic. Can say the same about India's decision to ban bitcoin and crypto usage, make it even illegal and set punishes on it.
OP it's not like change their hearts and etc, it's politics and they do something for some reasons but personally I don't see any logic here, ban especially from India was unexpected for me. I think they'll understand that there is no pro that can outweight cons in this decision.
In overall it's great that blockchain technologies are adopted so massively. Land title registry, birth registry and a lot of serious services already integrated blockchain technologies in some countries, brazil is first one in birth registry via blockchain. India is first Blockchain Coffee Platform, great!
2684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 14, 2019, 06:21:18 PM
In some countries police can't even track direct deposits and who thinks about bitcoin. The problem isn't privacy because any scam/fraud is punished but problem is that crypto is hard to track. Some governments become good at it recently, countries where there is crypto business which includes exchanges and etc. And in countries where crypto is rarely used, no one cares about scams, government only warns you to avoid websites which look like fraud.
2685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sports predictions on: November 14, 2019, 01:41:43 PM
Im very confused how to win with high odds in soccer prediction. Because winning with low odds is very basic IMO , i mean it's not specific but mostly low odds always win , the potential is higher unlike with high odds as its 50/50 chance wherein very unpredictable.  Is there any strategy you know except viewing their past game or history?
Usually high odds means low chance of winning and opposite - low odds means high chance of winning but that's not always like that. Personally I was testing with some matches and teams which I had no idea about, very strange and unknown matches with high odds and what I found is that it was pretty easy to risk and catch high odd on such games. I think sportsbook providers don't care and to be fair can't take care of every single match and on very unknown matches they sometimes give random odds.
In one ticket I had 3 match, each with 10x odd and two of them win but one failed, if succeed, would be amazing 1000x win.
2686  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advice on online shop selling goods in crypto: real or scam? on: November 14, 2019, 01:16:01 PM
Hello,

I just found this online shop: https://www.cryptoemporium.eu/.

They claim to sell luxury goods and services like cars, watches, real estate...

Does anyone know them? Is it "safe"?

Thanks !

When someone launches so serious business like selling luxury, cars, real estate and etc, minimum it has to be promoted AF, usually this is done in 99% cases to grow knowledge about your website among people and to gain attention in overall which automatically leads to more attention from another news websites. About this website, I can't find anything exciting.
I don't say that they are scams, idk and can't judge them blindly but personally I wouldn't risk. It's super easy to exchange bitcoin into usd and then buy anything you wish from trustworthy websites, why to add another headache?
2687  Other / Meta / Re: Has anyone ever purchased anything through BitcoinTalk on: November 14, 2019, 12:48:15 PM
Hey everyone,

Just a random question out of curiosity - Has anyone ever purchased something through BitcoinTalk and successfully received the goods?

I know there is a marketplace section but seems like there are scam accounts all over there. Newbie accounts with one post etc.

Interested to hear the responses!
Many who try buying from members on this forum ends up screaming scam and later have no choice but to tag such account with red tags, becareful
Personally I have purchased a lot of things on this forum and everything went ok everytime. There are a lot of amazing people on this forum, for example Minerjones and condoras are my favourite ones because they helped me a lot of times and I bought items via them.
There is no trust from you or another person? Then use escrow service, see this topic for example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5047302.0
In overall there are a lot of things purchased through bitcointalk, especially physical coins.
2688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that Bitcoin becomes quiescent? on: November 14, 2019, 12:15:01 PM
In the year 2130 all of the Bitcoins will have been mined and the only reward at this point is transaction fees,if most people are using Bitcoin just as a store of wealth, then there are very few transactions, which means there is very little reward for mining and so a lot of computers would pull out of the Bitcoin network. Would this be a problem? If large Bitcoin transactions occured sparingly in 2130 and beyond, would the Bitcoin concept still work?
That question is asked pretty often. No one can exactly say what will happen but I think situation will go like this:
At some point bitcoin is similar to gold, it has miners too like bitcoin. When all gold will be mined, employees will be out of job (maybe? or start digging in different and different places) --- when all bitcoin will be mined, miners won't be out of job. Because here we have transaction fees which needs miners to confirm it. Nowdays tx fee doesn't seem huge in usd yeah? But what about if bitcoin rises and becomes for example 100K and even more? Just imagine, then transaction fees which currently seems for example 500$, will be 50 000$ which is pretty amazing and close to mining reward.
2689  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker 1 VS 1 ON BTC! on: November 14, 2019, 11:51:53 AM
Hello dear friends from BTCTalk! Chris here, we have conformed a small team of developers and already produced our first BTC Game.

Is there any 1 VS 1 Poker in BTC online?

If so, would you be interested in alternatives? is there any other Player vs Player game that you would like to support?
You'll rarely find crypto casinos which offer poker and if any offers, most of them have very bad UI. I highly doubt there is 1 vs 1 poker playable by crypto.
Btw if you really plan to offer poker game, I suggest you to add spin poker, it's exciting and attractive for most users.
There isn't much demand on 1 vs 1 poker but what goes from your side to include such poke room along 6 seat poker room? I think nothing much so offer variety choices. Somewhere I have even seen 10 seat poker.
2690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Newbie Traders Lose money? | Risk Management Basics on: November 14, 2019, 09:12:06 AM
Are you one of that "Trade Gurus" and decided to reveal the secret?
Well, I appreciate what you wrote, don't take it wrongly but please can you answer me on one question? When you profit, it means someone loses yeah? So in any way someone has to lose, doesn't matter how experienced these traders are, one can't profit without another ones' lose.
And what about to forget targets? I think you can't plan economy because your plan of daily 3% may ruin chance of getting 10% profit or you even won't reach your target so this means your plans failed? And some may start digging to get that planned profit next day combined with tomorrow's plan and it will ruin everything, especially when we talk about newbies.
2691  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: November 14, 2019, 08:43:12 AM
To be fair it's really hard to answer. Some may say: Bitcoin will lose it's dominance once bitcoin's price will be lower or near to any major currency, escpecially 2nd and 3rd ones but at the same time we have to consider the fact that once Zcash's price was almost 3x higher than bitcoin's. But did it change something? Did it ruin bitcoin's dominance? Logically it had to affect bitcoin and from the very first day people had to see light in Zcash but no, it failed and fall down, bitcoin kept it's dominance and still along with USD, altcoin's price are shown in bitcoin too.
I don't think price will be a huge indicator there but if there may be coin better than bitcoin with some promising price rises, then there may end it's dominance.
2692  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ResearchReport - What are the industries adopting Blockchain technology? on: November 14, 2019, 08:04:26 AM
Seems really interesting topic but the sad fact is that there is no link to read this article (I guess it's written and you forgot to include link). Also if you want us to read that report where you included google drive link, I think better to make it public and let us read it without requesting permission cause it will be boring for us and you too.
Btw I didn't know that Jaguar rewards drivers with cryptocurrencies, great and serious idea, I think it will lead other companies to adapt same thing but at first it will be interesting to know how much affect it will have on Jaguar's sales.
2693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: honest opinion on our future gaming platform project. on: November 13, 2019, 10:03:25 PM
erious one cause usually what people do is type some text and then ask question whether this will be good/acceptable or not and etc. In overall I like design, it's pretty great and impressive. Also liked Crash's design and animation that is planned, you are right, original one has pretty boring animation and it needs to be changed, that's also what I suggested to one recently opened casino owner there.
Poker also has good UI but to my mind it will be better if you make something similar of worldpokerclub.
Keno is popular russian game I guess, yeah? If you also aim russian market too, I think it will be better to add game Domino?
On another hand idk what to say additionally cause everything that you posted is amazing, I'm really captivated with it.
2694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need your opinion about actual Crypto Casinos (and how future ones should be) on: November 13, 2019, 09:20:46 AM
Hello,

I would like to get your opinion about several questions related to online Bitcoin/Crypto casinos:

What are your favorite game(s) when playing on a Bitcoin casino? (slots, dice, blackjack, video poker, american or european roulette, bingo, keno, lotto...)
What is your favorite cryptocurrency for deposit?
What is your favorite cryptocurrency for withdraw?
What are(is) your favorite features on the casino website?
What about KYC?
Do you like refferal programs (I mean, do you use them?) and bonuses?
Anything else to say about casinos?
Extra question: Does the house edge has an impact on your registration?

I just ask these infos in order to get a feedback from players, in order to create a gambling website which fit to the users (even if my team and I know that there is a lot of concurrence in this sector).
Extra info: we still have some issues to find a nice name for it, all suggestions will be welcome Smiley

Edit1: All our games will be provably fair, and instant deposit/withdraw will be enabled for major cryptocurrencies (like BTC, ETH, LTC and Doge).
Almost all of these games are popular and included by every casino. For crypto casino, I would prioritize dice, blackjack and slots.
For me, it depends on moment, when btc has high fees, I use ltc or other currency instead of bitcoin but when btc has low transaction fees, I use it. Better to include more than 10 cryptocurrency in overall.
For withdrawal, it depends, some websites offer free withdrawal while others set different withdrawal fees on different currencies, so sometimes it depends on fees too.
My favourite feature is a lot of promotions, various possibilities of wins and in overall games with exciting features.
Don't make KYC as your usual procedure or it will significantly affect number of your customers.
Of course referral programs are great feature, sometimes it leads customers to attract new ones which is beneficial for casino's growth.
Will say lately.
Usually 1% is standard in dice, the lower the better of course. Meet standards, that's enough, don't grow house edge.
2695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT DOES A TRADER NEED? on: November 13, 2019, 08:49:18 AM
Reading news constantly and being on track?
Using platforms/tools?
Is trading view enough?
Thank you for helping in this matter!
Of course you need to read news constantly to keep in touch what's going on around bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies cause sometimes that happens when one hot news like ban of bitcoin in china for example or hack of exchange or one exchange decided to stop withdraw for a while, I want to even remind you the moment when coinmarketcap decided to remove some exchanges from it's platform which affected bitcoin price. So in overall, yes, you have to read news around it.
Platforms/tools help you to create some mathematical analyzes which can also help you in trading cause sometimes charts repeat.
And what do you call trading view? When your ego tells you to buy/sell bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency? Well, I will tell you that luck is also major factor in trading.
2696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: November 13, 2019, 08:23:55 AM
At first please tell me when you put your effort and skills in some task and then gain something, in this case bitcoins in exchange of that work, how can you call them free?
When you have to get some work done, I think it doesn't matter whether you get bitcoin or usd as a result cause finally you can exchange that currency into btc.
As you say, there is a lot of potential in bitcoin trading, yeah, if you exactly know when to buy and sell but that's not easy. You have to remember that you profit because someone loses and trading also depends on luck at some point.
Second and fourth suggestions are just bullshit, if anyone wastes time on that, then good luck.
2697  Economy / Economics / Re: Can something like WeEconomy work with Today's technology ?! on: November 13, 2019, 07:34:07 AM
Of course WeEconomy is an amazing idea, there is no doubt but the problem are people. The network of people must be full with honest and smart people. That's where the online WeEconomy fails sadly. From your post as far as I understood that profit will be used for gaining even more profit by creating some business and etc or if you only mean growing number of capital via people and doing nothing more, same and same again, then I don't think that alone is good because it means say no to best possible profit and yes to good profit.
Who collects funds here? Whom do we trust? Please can you explain this a little bit?
2698  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | The Honest Online Casino | Hop In On The Action 🇦🇺 on: November 12, 2019, 08:05:44 PM
Nice to see you on bitcointalk, visited website and in overall I liked design and etc pretty much. Also the different thing from others that I saw is that you give users possibility to login via Google and Steam accounts. Your roulette is something that I have never seen to be fair. I would also change a crash game a little bit because it looks like 100% clone of bustabit and that's not nice, make some visual improvement in this aspect and make it look like a new game.
And oh, title - The honest online casino sounds a little bit weird to my mind (most crypto casinos are honest btw).
2699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only 6.2 percent of American citizens own Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2019, 07:36:52 PM
It's simple, and there are some reasons, but I'll make short

BTC is not so easy to pay to use like a credit card for example, it require a few steps, but not so easy for people who are't into technology
BTC is in the hands of the most rich in US, people with high amounts of money and coins, it's not for the poor

Oh, if you ask people here, it's one of the most easiest payment method available in this universe but in reality it is not and what you wrote is 100% right, why to waste time on opening bitcoin wallet and sending btc to specific address while we can easily touch our visa/master cards to terminal.
And why isn't btc for poor people? I think more likely they are looking for easy money and when we talk about easy money, bitcoin always pops up because of various reasons.
Also if that percentage of people who own bitcoin in USA is right, which according to post is 6.2% it's still pretty good. Maybe this percentage sounds low but in overall, to calculate 6.2% of population, it's still good number.
2700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any Impact of AI technology in Trading? on: November 12, 2019, 06:58:09 PM
Is there any Impact of AI technology in Trading?

Is there any Impact of AI technology in Trading? or can it automate the trading process? IMO AI is not producing any benefit to humans because using the AI many companies will build robots and the need of humans will be ended. There will be no need of humans anymore, the unemployment rate in the world has already increased too much, & do you know that the salary you are getting paid is just nothing? $8K-$16K per month are even nothing to anything. The minimum salary a human may deserve should be equivalent to the cost a human pay to save his life in the hospital. Maybe AI can reduce the cost of operations but it does not resolve the issue yet, because the unemployment rate has been increased too much. Can you decrease the unemployment rate using the AI technology? or Governments and Banks should pay free money to the people who are unemployed? My question is that if AI automates everything in the future, so there is no need of employees left then how the people will be getting paid? as everything will be done by robots?
I think this question must be moved from trading discussion to other place because it's far from this section and includes a lot of things to discuss.
Currently AI technologies aren't useful in trading because they can't read news from websites, analyze their content and decide what kind of impact it will have on currency's price.
AI won't be able to change human because human created it, it's like saying human can change god. In this case we are gods for them cause we created them, AI.
It's hard question to answer what will happen around employment task. This situation can make it better (make things easier and leave you with more free) or make things worse (leave you without job and make it fully AI functional).
Minimum human salary was and will never be fair cause some people own more money than half of the nation but at the same time this is the world we created and product of what we become.
Governments and banks never/ever have to pay free money to people because free money kills every kind of motivation and makes even motivated people lazy ones. It's needed as a stimulus.
